Although the dresses are beautiful, the staff is lacking. If it wasn’t for the love of my daughter I would have spent the insane amount of $11,000 somewhere else. Perhaps other designers would have treated us better. We had the dress and vail shipped! They nerve of this establishment to charge for the ups shipping. They should be ashamed of themselves!You are always made to wait outside in the street. The staff ignores you when you are standing at the door. They are very cold and although the exorbitant amount of money you spend they treat you as if they are superior. As if they are doing us a favor.It is embarrassing for an establishment and a designer of such magnitude to charge for UPS.

I have loved ML wedding dresses for years and was so excited for my appointment. But I was so let down. The staff paid almost no attention to us, the appointment started late, they dont help you into the dresses so you have to walk out of the dressing room partially undressed in front of people, and they only let you try on SIX dresses!? As if you already know what you want and what will work just by looking at dresses on models online and looking at dresses hanging limp on a rack. The associate Mona really wasnt engaged either. She had no care for my experience and was so flippant about it all. Disappointing process.

Even though I didnt end up with the one from this store, my bridal consultant Kristen was amazing to work with! After telling her the style I was going for she pulled an amazing selection and I never felt rushed. All of the dresses are beautiful and you can tell that the fabrics and construction of the dresses are all top notch.Really recommend checking this boutique out and working with Kristen!

I went to Monique Lhuillier for a bridal appointment back in July. Despite the pandemic, the staff (a tall lady) was very cold and unwelcoming. I came slightly early for my appointment and they told me to wait. The awkwardness level was high. Once the appointment starts, I have felt that with the budget I have, it was almost the wrong place to be. The whole bridal appointment was okay. But somehow I felt very uncomfortable throughout the whole appointment. Oh, there was another bride with bigger budget and I can feel how different I was treated. Definitely a terrible place to shop for wedding dress, unless youre really in love with her designs. I would give it a 0 star if I would.

Wow. Where do I even begin? I had the honor of having Frank as my consultant and I cannot say enough good things about him! He never pressured me into anything, made me feel comfortable and beautiful, and was willing to customize the dress to my liking!Frank is truly a class-act consultant, and genuinely listens to what I wanted. If I could give Frank and my experience at Monique 10 stars, I would. Everyone who is in the market for a wedding dress and wants an amazing experience, I recommend Frank and Monique Lhuillier 10 fold!!

Scheduled an appointment months in advance and came in from out of state. While they had a nice selection I was appalled by the service. The sales woman I had was rushing the entire time and in a panic within the first 2 minutes of my arrival. Even worse, she put back dresses I hadnt tried on yet while I was not looking and told me I would not look good in certain styles because I was not a 0 and shouldnt try certain items because of this. I am a size 6-8 depending on the designer.I left the appointment with tears in my eyes and although found a dress I liked, I couldnt get myself to bite the bullet because the woman made me so upset. I would look at who you are hiring to represent your brand because they are not doing you any good.

I bought my wedding gown and love it. If you can choose The Sales person, dont choose Frank. He was too full of himself. I first thought it was a cultural thing, but days after I have another experience in Monique with a friend, and was way better. So, the dresses are amazing, the fitting went perfectly. The only downside is Frank. If you have another Sales person you should be great.

I ended up not buying my wedding gown from here even though it was in my top 3 (and NOT an easy decision...) but still had a really wonderful experience and ended up leaving with a little something anyway.Frank was my consultant and you can add me to the long list of people heaping praise on him because he really is extraordinarily talented at what he does. Id been having some health issues and was heavier at my November gown try-ons than Id been in a long time, but he still put me at ease and chose a large and varied selection of gowns that I loved trying on. At one point he even suggested combining elements from two, artfully layering one gown on top of the other on me, which elicited (good) gasps from my mother and bridesmaids at the appointment with me.

Came for my sisters bridal try-on and we were treated like princesses. They were fabulous!

I waited write this review until after my final fitting, however, Ive had only positive things to say since day 1. At Monique Lhuillier you 100% get above and beyond what you pay for. From start to finish I was treated like an absolute princess and made to feel extremely comfortable and well taken care of through out all of my appointments. Every employee I came in contact with was so genuinely sweet, happy for me and interested in my wedding planning details. Midori, especially, is AN ABSOLUTE DREAM. If you call to make an appointment, ask to meet with Midori. Never once did she make me feel pressured, and she consistently offered honest, helpful and wonderful advice (from gowns to headpieces to veils). From April (when I first visited ML to December) Midori was by my side for all appointments, and constantly available via email for any advice about accessories, hairstyle, etc. While I thought my experience at ML couldnt get any better, that all changed when I met Rita! Rita, the director of alterations IS SUCH A TALENT, and an extreme pleasure to work with. Rita did everything to make sure my dress was customized to my exact fit. She caught issues that I couldnt even see, and wouldnt possibly let me leave it a dress that wasnt 100% perfection. Working with Midori and Rita made me feel like a giant weight was lifted off of my shoulders, and like I could just sit back and trust these wonderful women to make my dress fantasies come to life. That level of care and personalized attention is truly invaluable. I would definitely recommend any brides in the NYC area to visit Monique Lhuillier.. you wont regret it!
