I had an incredible experience at Mark Ingram with stylist Jill Muir! I went to try on dresses March 2021, right before things started to open up more. I went on a Wednesday, since thats when they have private appointments and you can bring more than one guest. My Mom, friend and I had an incredible time. Jill brought out dresses I absolutely loved and then one I narrowed down what I wanted, let me have some fun just trying on beautiful dresses. Having competed in pageants before, Im very particular about gowns and the curated selection at MI was incredible! Jill truly made our experience. She is warm, kind, fun and has fantastic energy! They didnt have the Vera Wang gown I wanted and said they could order it. I fell in love with a discontinued Vera Wang veil and Jill gave me a discount on the sample I tried on. Cant wait to go back for my rehearsal dinner outfit!

Mark Ingram Atelier is a beautiful salon with top notch designers! Employees are warm, friendly, and super helpful. My stylist, Nesta was so wonderful to work with - she understood exactly what I was looking for without a ton of direction, and showed me beautiful and flattering options within my budget. Highly recommend this salon for New York brides!

In Fall 2019, I went to 4-5 stores in NYC and Florida and honestly had a terrible experience with all of the sales associates that helped me. They were often rude, wouldn’t let my mother share her opinion without a rebuttal or ask any questions, over shared their opinions, they were pushy, etc. I could go on and on. Ultimately, I purchased a dress at a store in Florida in December 2019. Three days later, I had serious doubts. This went on for months and then, of course, our November 2020 wedding was postponed for September 2021due to COVID. I finally decided I needed to go try on dresses again as I had more time to figure this out. First store I went to was Mark Ingram Bridal, which I didn’t go to first time around and wish I had in hindsight. Nesta was the consultant that helped me and honestly, I can’t say enough great things about her!!!! She has turned a frustrating situation (unhappy with my dress purchase on top of postponed wedding) around completely. I explained to her my situation, she was comforting and helped me with solutions to try to sell my other dress, she was patient and understood that this was a big decision to have to make again, and she gave honest input when asked without making too big of an impression on my feelings about dresses I tried on. I found my perfect dream dress through Nesta’s help!!!! She is the ONLY person that I found to provide a great service in all of my wedding dress store experiences and I am so grateful that she turned my disappointments (which all brides right now understand) into excitement again!!!! Thank you so much, Nesta!!!! You truly are 1 in a million. If anyone is looking for a dress in NYC, PLEASE go to Nesta. You won’t regret it!!!!!!

Our sales girl liked correcting my daughter, the bride, and I when we made comments about dresses or fabrics(even though we weren’t wrong). I guess she wanted to hear herself talk.She was quick to tell us the style dress my daughter wanted wasn’t “Mark’s vibe”. Yet he carry’s the designer we wanted.Wish Mark was there-I’m sure he would have been disappointed.We ended up buying the dress elsewhere.

Mark Ingram was the first bridal salon I went to on my dress search and I ended up buying the first dress that I tried on. I work with Ayana and she was wonderful. She pulled the dress that I had in mind and was so wonderful at making sure that all of my expectations for the dress were met. All of the designers they carry are fantastic so if you are picky, this is the place to go. Everything is meticulously curated.When it came to tailoring the dress there were a few complicated changes, but their seamstress was fantastic and so professional. She was even able to handle my mom when she started to act out a bit during a fitting. These guys know what they are doing!!!!I would take any of my girlfriends here in the future. Every step of the experience went smoothly with them and I am so happy with my bridal gown.

I am glad that this was not my first appointment to try dresses. I was so excited when I went online to book my appointment, then I got an email that put me off, expressing the range of their dress. I understand the intention of the email but I believe there is a better way to communicate the message with customers and not via a horrendously written email.The showroom, my mother and I were welcomed by staff who signed me in as if it was favor. The stylist who helped us was not professional and did not seem to care about my wants and needs. Being addressed as you guys,eye rolling when I asked for water. To top things off no and i mean no plus size dresses for us curvier women. The showroom was dirty, the curtains where not even ironed... I can go on.Worst bridal experience!

You have to make an appointment to go there. It is a wonderful experience because they really take care of details for your special day and they are truly experts so they chose very carefully the selection of dresses. I can tell that the experience over there is really personalized and perfect.

I had the stylist, Allison, and she was able to find the dress of my dreams. I told her exactly what I wanted in a dress and how I wanted to look and feel. After getting to know me and talk to me, she was able to pull dresses have never dreamed of. You can’t make a bad decision at Mark Ingram.

I am so happy with my bridal dress experience at Mark Ingram. I found Mark Ingram from Elie Saab website, as it is one of the very few stores carried Elie Saab in US. My consultant Alene is so professional, knowledgable, kind and patient, she recommended me Marchesa, which looks very similar with Elie Saab, but fits me better. It is exactly my dream dress! Alena also help me customize my dress, adding all I love in one dress. This is my first day of wedding dress exploration, and Mark Ingram is my third stop. After I visited my fourth stop, I canceled all the other appointments and came back to mark Ingram to make the deposit. I highly recommend Mark Ingram!

Horrendous experience. Sales women couldn’t be bothered helping me and was annoyed she had to pull more dresses. By far the worst experience. Left in the middle of the appointment. Have never been treated so poorly by a person. Incredibly disappointed as I’ve heard great things and was looking forward to the experience.

I had been looking forward to my appointment because of the designers attached and was thoroughly disappointed. The stylist Allison and her manager were rude and despite stating the style I wanted didn’t pull anything that was close to my description. She was very abrasive and rude the entire appointment and it wasn’t even a budget problem. It’s like she didn’t even get it. The service there was HORRIBLE. I ended my own appointment early because she kept pulling dresses not even close to what I wanted

Absolutely loved it! Went everywhere in New York and my last stop was here. It was far better than any other wedding dress shop.

I wasnt extremely impressed with my bridal experience here. The choices were expensive and not that exciting to me. The inventory on display is very limited as is the space but in general people were fine and the space was clean.

Mark ingram was my 7th and (thankfully) final wedding shop visit. i found them via the inbal dror website and was extremely impressed by the designers and styles they carried. i had already visited lfay, kleinfelds as well as many others and almost every store i had been to carried, for the most part, all of the same dresses. its safe to say i was becoming incredibly worried about finding a dress and this was my saving grace.i had my heart set on an inbal dress from the most recent collection and had taken the initiative to call ahead of time to see if they had it. not only did they not have it, but inbal didnt even have a sample of it, so no salon in the country, as well as others, had it. i was informed by a rep from inbal in tel aviv that all i could do was order the dress and hope i liked it in person. the dress had giant ruffled sleeves and was definitely something i needed to see before i bought, so i was quickly discouraged.you will walk out of the elevator and immediately be greeted by the reception area and small space filled with gorgeous dresses. this salon picks the dresses for you as to not overwhelm you with a giant selection, which i was at first weary about but luckily it worked in my favor.my specialist was Katherine. she was super friendly and outgoing without being fake and over-interested (which most consultants are). i showed her several photos of dresses i loved which she had in stock and told her about my venue and style. after trying on around 7 dresses, which all were beautiful, she asked me if i found the one. while all of them were gorgeous, i knew i hadnt found the one. katherine suggested pulling more dresses, and while i knew our appointment time was running low, she insisted it would be okay. i really appreciate her for doing this. she brought out several more dresses and i could tell even on the hanger that one she selected was my dress. it was a gorgeous Christos Costarellos gown with ruffled and off the shoulder detail, very similar to the inbal dress i had my heart set on. we are getting married in tuscany and i was looking for something with a mediterranean flair.the dress ended up being THOUSANDS lower than my budget, which was even better. i was so unbelievably happy and finally relieved. i put my down payment in and walked out so incredibly excited. it was one of the happiest moments of my life and i owe it all to katherine!

My experience here was horrible and basically ended with the stylist breaking up with me....saying I should come back to see someone else since she really wasnt getting me. I found this very disappointing since my best friend came in from out of state to come with me, Id emailed prior to my appointment asking about a specific dress that I was told was there, provided names of the designers that I wanted to try as well as images curated on Pinterest of designers the store supposedly carries.Though I mentioned Inbal Dror, Elie Saab, Marchesa, & Paolo Sebastian other designers just kept coming, with applique (the only thing I said I didnt want) and I never saw the dress I wanted to try. Im getting married in the desert in spring, so a Venetian style ball gown does not work...Since they dont allow you to peruse dresses I was 100% reliant on the stylist and she either didnt listen or didnt care to understand me. I am an easy going person who was just looking to enjoy the experience and that didnt happen on any level.I dont know how so many high end brands are tied to this shop and when you go you cant even see them (and yes, I had the budget to)!

Why cant I view your website. I get error 404 and that the credentials I entered (???) are not recognized! I have called your shop several times (as a wedding planner trying to make an appointment / get a price for a ML dress on behalf of my customer (a bride) and the staff are simply rude and unhelpful. I was also told I cannot get prices quoted for her (well that is my job to get quotes etc for clients) Just wondering how anyone can get through to you without access to your website or getting to speak to you because of the phone red tape?

The worst customer service ever! I waited there with my sister for a while, no one was there, once they come, we were completely ignored!
