I remember when researching about Adriennes Bridal salon and something intrigued me about the history of the woman owned salon and the potential to find gems. I was fortunate that my last dress tried on at Adriennes ended up the one to the point that I cried. But what really makes the experience at Adriennes was the ease of working with Mary Ann. From scheduling appointments and bringing family along all thr way to the creativity to skillfully alter the dress. I felt like the most beautiful bride on my big day and I also was able to get to know Mary Ann throughout the process. I highly recommend coming to her salon because she really cares about her brides and you cant miss out on her expertise and beautiful inventory of dresses.

I found my perfect dress in this salon. The quality was very high at a very good price. I can compare because I visited other salons before finding this one. I wore it at my Italian wedding and I must say, the style and quality were at the level (or, I would say, even higher) of what can be found in many top Italian bridal stores. Maryann, the owner of the store from generations, is also a very experienced tailor. Thank you for making my dress perfect!

This place is AMAZING!!! Wedding dress heaven. I would pass by here seeing the wedding dresses on display, I would think to myself I can’t wait for the day that I could go in and see what they have. The day came today and I SAID YES TO THE DRESS! The first and only dress I saw was the one for me. Adrienne the owner is keeping this family business alive! There is a person for everything and she is the wedding dress doctor!!! She was kind, professional, welcoming, honest, and beyond helpful! I am so happy to have came in today with her service and found my dream dress. The highly recommend this bridal shop to anyone looking for their dream dress. Beautiful collection!!! We went to try on bridesmaids dressed.The woman there was very rood, which put a damper on our experience. The lighting was harible!! half the bulbs were out and the fitting room were no better. There was nails coming out of the floor all over the place.Tried on around 10 dresses and likes 2. Had multi sizes to try on but Not much to pick from which was expected. Before heading out she did let us know she does 20% off bridal partys and in house tailoring.

MaryAnn is a sweetheart, SO patient and a hard worker. She did an exceptional job. I would not do business with anyone else but her. Very pleased.

Adrienne’s is a gem. I needed a dress in less than 2 months for my December wedding after having a baby in September. I visited 8 different bridal salons with no luck; I hated everything. Then I found Adrienne’s and the search was over! I liked everything I tried on and fell in love with a dress which hadn’t happened anywhere else. I was able to buy it off the rack and have it tailored from a size 10 down to my size (size 0-2) in a month. The work done was incredible as the dress was ornate with lace and beading. MaryAnn is personable and clearly is an expert. I am so thankful that I found Adrienne’s and that my dream wedding dress became a reality!

I had a really positive experience finding my dream wedding dress with Maryann at Adriennes. My appointment with Maryann was in October 2020 and Maryann provided us a safe space with ample 1 on 1 time with her. She worked slowly and carefully with me to make sure I felt 100% confident in my decision, whether that was trying back on previous dresses, and viewing them in different lighting, she is a true expert! She also made sure to only show us dresses within our budget and did not try to push any alternative options. The experience was extremely memorable and I am so excited to go back for my fitting with her.

Wow-Maryanne was a miracle worker. I had a previous seamstress who botched my dress, and it wasn’t done until 7pm the NIGHT before my wedding. Luckily a dear friend of mine referred me to Maryanne the next morning, and she and Maria worked feverishly to correct the poor work. Maryanne responded ASAP to my friend’s email and knew the seriousness of the matter. She totally put me at ease, and I knew I could trust her...Needless to say- she did this the morning of my wedding, and came to the rescue.Her work was beautiful, and I truly couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you thank you thank you!!!Of course, wished I had went to her first, but for any of you brides out there, go to Adriennes!!

Fantastic service, prices and selection. This place saved the day when I went in last minute and needed help with a wedding dress. The owner and seamstress were punctual, kind and approachable. What I wanted really mattered to them and my dress is beautiful. It’s hard to find a good quality wedding shop in NYC that is approachable and happy to help u and I was lucky enough to find them.

I originally found Adriennes through a search for a designer I was interested in trying on. Adriennes was having a trunk show so I called and made an appointment.This was only the second place I had been to. I had first gone to a local shop and found things that were nice, but nothing felt like IT. The shop is unassuming which gives it a more relaxed vibe, instead of one of those shops that feels like theyre more about the experience with champagne and show.I pulled a few things from the shelf and then based on that, Maryann brought me something special from downstairs. I loved almost every dress I tried on there, and had a tough time between 3, and Maryann and Carol were very patient and I tried all 3 on again atleast once more. Finally I decided on the one that was almost perfect. It was missing just a little extra something – I had wanted a bit of sparkle to my dress, but am not an ornate and beaded person. Maryann suggested adding a sequin lace layer underneath.The prices were so reasonable, we put a deposit down and I tried patiently to wait the 6+ months for my dress. I was so excited to try it on again. Once it finally came in, Maryann spent hours at my first fitting getting everything right. After that, she spent 3 days adding the sequins layer and at the second fitting, I was blown away by how it looked. At the third and final fitting, the dress fit like a glove, and I ended with a custom piece that was perfectly me. I cant wait until the big day so I can post photos.

Great service! There was a dress I had found on pinterest that was two years old that I wanted to try on. Most places I contacted wouldnt even track it down, and if they would, wanted to charge $500, just to try it on! Maryann immediately agreed to get the dress in within two weeks. She charged an excellent price on the dress as compared to the research I had done on the designer at other bridal shops. What I loved about this place aside from this incredible service was the feel of the place. It was not an over done bridal factory with champagne and almost nothing else positive except a means to an end. I loved every time I was here, felt like I got to know the employees, and always felt taken care of when I was there. Alterations were extremely detailed and fair in price. I highly recommend getting your dress here for a wonderful stress free experience.

This bridal store is one of the best bridal shop I’ve been to! MaryAnn is a blessing as she found my wedding dress after many tries. She altered the dress in a quick time around and I felt like I was not just a customer but someone like family. Highly recommend!!!!

Maryann somehow found the perfect dress even I hadnt envisioned. She customized it and hemmed it to perfection with such quick turnaround. Only a true professional could have accomplished what she did. She was also incredibly sweet and lovely! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this place. I have literally been to all the bridal salons in nyc. I wasn’t even close to what I was looking for. By the time I walked in Adriennes, fell in love with 3 dresses. Prices are very reasonable. Maryann and Carol are very nice and helpful ladies. Had a wonderful experience with them. Before I found this place, I tried to get my wedding dress customized and it turned out to be a nightmare. I was so upset that I had to pay for something not even a bit close to what I asked for. I found the dress of a lifetime at Adriennes, and definitely recommend working with Maryann! Two weeks before my wedding, I had the horrific experience of realizing the wedding dress that had been made for me by a friend was, unfortunately, rushed, not well-made, and not correctly fitted to my body. Needless to say, I was in primal melt-down mode. I had been to Adriennes about 6 months prior and seen a dress I really liked, and my gut instinct told me to call Maryann. She listened through my sobbing, understood my situation and let me come in last-minute on a busy Sunday, promising to fit me in somehow. The actual sample dress I had seen before was still there--Thank God! Maryann offered me a very fair price and was willing to go the extra mile to have it altered, cleaned and steamed in time for my wedding. She even rescued the belt from my ill-fated dress and repaired it so I could wear it with my gorgeous gown. The dress was ready as promised - Maryanns fitting was expertly done. I could not have had a more beautiful wedding gown! Maryann took wonderful care of me at Adriennes. I recommend this shop!

Adriennes saved my life today!!!! I mean that almost literally because if not for the owner of the shop, the bride would have killed me! To make a long story short.... 2 weeks before my best friends wedding and my bridesmaid dress was too small! I ordered the dress online and surprise surprise, the measurements were off. I took it to a seamstress and was told there was no extra fabric to make any alternations possible. So I had a mini heart attack. literally 2 weeks until the wedding, I emailed every single bridal shop in Manhattan that sold the dress and Adriennes was the ONLY one who responded, during OFF HOURS and within just a few minutes! The owner then reassured me that she had the exact dress, in the exact color that I needed and that we would make it work; she scheduled me an appointment for the very next day! I just left the shop and I am SO HAPPY! Not only was I given a great price for the dress and necessary alterations, but the dress will be ready within a week AND she is going to meet me in an area closer to my home/work as not to cause me to take more time off for the final fitting. I cannot believe there are any reviews less than 5 stars, if i could give 100 stars, I would! the shop was clean and organized and the customer service is unlike anything Ive experienced before. I planned a trip to the city with some family and friends to try on dress. I was obsessed with Lillian West and this was the only store I could find it in. There were 5 dresses that I wanted to try on. This was the first stop and the first time I ever tried on a wedding dress. I emailed the owner to ask about it. She ask if I could come in sooner as in like two months prior as she might not have the dresses available. The week of I come to find out there was only one dress available. I still went anyway as she assured me She had many other Lillian West dresses. So against my better judgement I went.We all came in and were greeted. We wondered the store and picked out some dresses. The sales associate was not super helpful. I wanted to try on Lillian West but was never directed to which dresses were hers. I ended up trying on many dresses. All of which felt dated and not the feel I was going for. I was given dresses that were totally not my style or what I had described. They werent excited and almost rude. They wouldnt let any of my friends take pictures of the dresses I was trying on. They didnt get to know me as a bride at all. There was one dress that I liked. They wrote down the price and we kept asking for the designers name and instead of getting it - they just kept brushing us off. They told us to just give them a call to discuss details. It was horrible experience for us all. I couldnt wait to leave. DO NOT GO HERE.

My friend is getting married today and as we were steaming her dress we found an obvious makeup spot. I called every dry cleaner I could find. No one was willing to help! But Mary Jane at Adriennes was more than happy to help. Not only did she take out the stain but she steamed and put the dress on a bust form all in 20 minutes to save the day.

If you want an impeccable customer service and a polyester dress for ten times the price - go to one of the bridal factory places. If you want a quality dress for a reasonable price and a fantastic custom seamstress job - go to Adriennes!This is a family business ran by the owner Maryanne almost all by herself! There are days when its more busy in the store and you may not get as much attention as a bride to be may want. But there is quality, knowledge and a personal touch in everything your outfit related.Maryanne was extremely patient with me spending two appointments on just choosing my dress. The dress I picked was available at the store so I didnt have to order it. In just two fittings (over the course of 3 weeks) we revamped the dress, modifies the design and took it two sizes down - the fit and style came out perfect! Every female at my wedding asked me where I got my dress - and it was all sophisticated New York crowd!I would recommend this quaint boutique bridal shop to anybody!

The dresses are beautiful and very unique! Adriennes was my fist and last stop surprisingly. My dream dress was sitting on the rack waiting for me!!! :-) Margaret was awesome she is very patient and down to earth. Amazing shopping experience at Adriennes! Maryann is the best! She helped me get the dress of my dreams, made fantastic alterstions and had it all done for me within a month. I highly recommend her shop for the selection of dresses, her patience, and quality work. Every bride has a different shopping experience and mine was really fantastic.

Adriennes has beautiful gowns but the customer service leaves something to be desired. I found my wedding dress at this shop and it was my first stop. I loved the selection and diversity of the gowns.However, the customer experience thereafter was hot and cold. Maryann is often rushed, curt with you or your guests, or harsh in her correspondence with you although there are times when she can be warm and inviting. I wasnt thrilled with my final fitting and her response was theres nothing I can do now instead of offering advice or help in making this dress (which is supposed to be THE BEST DRESS you ever wear) perfectly fit. Of all the things I stressed out about the last week before my wedding, the dress was my #1 concern. Luckily my mom saved the day with some last minute fixes.

Miserable experience. Horrible service, for myself and entire bridal party. I called four times and asked to come in during their Sunday hours. She said they were going to not open because it is summer and less busy. We tried to reschedule, and I finally told her I was coming after work to pick up my dress. I had to wait 40 minutes to simply pick it up. She only accepted cash, had no change. The other woman was waiting for her fitting for 45 minutes and the second bride had already been there for 15 minutes. Would not recommend to anybody.

Do not go here. Even if it seems like a good deal, its not. Youre better off ordering the dress online or go somewhere less shady. Otherwise, risk never receiving the dress in time.

The most gorgeous dress in the world, and 300 other people agreed with me! As MOB, and a former stylist and PR person for designers, I just have to say that my daughters dress was perfect! She was in seventh heaven on her wedding day, and felt beautiful thanks to Maryann. The workmanship was beautiful, her advice was invaluable, and she is a lady of her word. HEED THE YELP WARNINGS: Never have I ever had such abysmal service anywhere.We visited the store on April 19th because the bride had found her wedding dress there and it would simplify costs. Prior to visiting, I and a couple of the other bridesmaids read the Yelp reviews and were alarmed by the average rating of 1.4 stars. Not wanting to alarm the bride about the possibility of her dress not showing up and the rude service we decided to give it a try. We found the bridesmaids dress, had our measurements taken (by the one person working there who completely ignored the other appointment), and went our separate ways until the wedding day, Sept 26.Thats where the trouble began.MOTHER OF THE BRIDE: brought her dress to have it altered in early June and the woman said it would be done by mid-July latest because of prom season. July 20th passes and the mother was antsy. The late date had passed and there were no signs that the owner had even started altering the dress. After calling the woman 3 times a week, visiting the store, and emailing her, she got the dress back... on September 3rd (5 days before she had told the owner that the wedding was taking place).BRIDESMAID #1: visits the store in mid-July to go for another fitting. The dress is too tight to breathe in. Bridesmaid #1 had not gained any weight between the fittings, eats extraordinarily clean, and runs 20 miles four to five times a week. The shop owner, after ignoring her for the 45 min she was wearing the painful dress, told her that she could take the dress out and that bridesmaid #1 wouldnt have to come for another visit if that was the only problem. The bride brought the dresses to the wedding and on the wedding day bridesmaid #1 tried to put on the dress to find that no alterations had been made and she was forced to unzip part of the dress and tape it to her back in order for the dress to be breathable.BRIDESMAID #2: lives a few hours away from the city and is not able to visit often between traveling and her hectic work schedule. She visits in late-July and the dress is too tight and can only be zipped up with an extraordinary amount of force. She too ate fairly clean and maintained her weight at the same number it had been at the time of the fitting. The shop keeper told her rudely that she supposed that she could let it out and that she would surely be able to breathe when she was done. Bridesmaid #2 couldnt get to the shop again before the wedding because of scheduling conflicts and come wedding day it took three other bridesmaids to hold the dress in place in order to get it to zipper all the way and in the process, the hook and eye ripped off. Upon further inspection by the mother of the bride, there were no marks to show that the dress had ever been taken out. Like bridesmaid #1, the dress had to be zipped down and taped to her back in order for the dress to be remotely comfortable.BRIDESMAID #3: lives in the city, had lots of time to visit the shop, and has no problem with calling people out on bullshit. When the dress was too tight to breathe, she asked for a size chart and her previous measurements because this dress was far too tight to possibly be a size meant for her measurements. The shopkeeper was nasty and claimed that the size books werent meant for customers and bridesmaid #3 noted that she had no problem showing her the size book back when the bridal party ordered the dress. Upon looking at the chart and the measurements bridesmaid #3 noted that they ordered her dress 2 sizes down from what it shouldve been (a 4 instead of an 8). When the shopkeeper rudely told her that the European sizes run differently, bridesmaid #3 had no problem telling the shop keeper that she (the shopkeeper) had taken the measurements herself and that if she was any sort of professional she would order the dress for the body that the person had as opposed to the ideal weight loss she expected for a wedding. After this occasion bridesmaid #3 visited on multiple other occasions to ensure that the woman did she was paid for and altered the dress.(Continue)

I purchased my wedding dress yesterday and my bridesmaids and I had an absolutely amazing experience! First off Maryanns customer service is on point! I had plans to be in SoHo that day at another shop looking at gowns and the night before I found her shop online late at night. I emailed her hoping to make an appointment, knowing it was past the shops hours. She replied to my emails swiftly and even confirmed my appointment through email at 10:30 at night! She had a few disgners that I absolutely loved and she was the only one in the area that carried one of the collections I was looking for. Maryann has absolutely amazing taste in gowns, the dresses she chooses to be in her shop are gorgeous and the prices are AMAZING. When I finally narrowed down my choices to two dresses she was patient and kind in helping me pick the perfect one. I feel comfortable with Maryann and it was meant to be that I ended up there! Not to mention she can customize almost any dress there even giving me the opion of adding on a lace removable long sleeve and possibly altering the back of the dress to give it a more V open back look! Bought my wedding dress here the other day! I felt very confident that I was getting the best deal on my dress. I bought one of their own designs that looks like it would cost $12,000 but ended up being around $2600. The day before I tried on a dress at Kleinfelds that had less beading and detail than the one I got and it was $10,000! I am happy with my purchase and Im looking forward to working with Marianne the next few months.The only reason why I gave a 4 was because she accidentally insulted one of my bridesmaids and for the entire visit my two bridesmaids and mother were in a bad bad mood. Also, she may need to vacuum more often. There were pins all over the floor and I was walking around with bare feet.

I cant say enough about how amazing my experience has been with Adriennes, particularly with the owner Maryann. I bought all of my bridesmaids dresses here and she accommodated our rush order and was so professional calling me a day early and shipping the dresses out to each bridesmaids home to make sure they received them on time.But most importantly, I bought a beautiful sample for my wedding gown that was too large, and she did 3 fittings with me. She worked with my schedule and fit me in after work. My dress is absolutely perfect. She went out of her way to make sure it fit like a glove and I could not be happier with the alteration work. I recommend Adriennes beyond 5 stars.THANK YOU SO MUCH MARYANN!

I will say that I tried over 100 dresses at stores all over the city and I ended up coming back here to get my lace gown because it was 1/4 the price that it cost at other stores AND included my alterations. I will have to say that with any deal there is always some down falls... the owner does beautiful work and truly does care about her clients and making their big day special. She does have A LOT of clients which makes scheduling appts hard at times and she does run late but at the end of the day she has done her best to get everything done perfectly and has ensured that I will look my best for the big day. When you go for a fitting on a Friday or day she has told you she has been overbooked and she will work you in, defintiely make plans to go to one of the awesome restaurants or bars close by and grab a drink or snack and enjoy your company while you wait for her to finish up. I know this may sound crazy but its better than waiting around. All in all I have had a great experience but remember this is a mom and pop place, not a huge store with a million reps. You will work with one person and one person only so be patient and the time you put in will be so worth it because your dress will be perfect!! :)

I would have loved to give Adrienne’s an amazing review, as my initial experience was great. I had been to a couple of dress shops before landing here, but was set on coming to Adrienne’s because they carried Allison Webb by Ti Adora which had a dress I was dying to try on. They had the dress in the shop, and Maryann was super pleasant at first. She pulled a variety of dresses for me in my style including the dress I went there for specifically so I was thrilled even though the sample they had was not in classic ivory, but instead in a pink and champagne color pallet (beautiful, just not what I had been dreaming about). Maryann told me it wouldn’t be a problem to get the dress in ivory as I had wanted, so we went ahead and left our deposit. While I had the dress on she mentioned ordering extra lace to make off the shoulder sleeves that I had seen on the dress on different sites, and that it would be no problem. I signed a contract stating that there would be an alterations cap at $595- which I thought was amazing! Now I know that the saying ‘too good to be true’ exists for a reason. I ordered my dress in September for my June wedding. I had a few email correspondences with her in between, one of which she sent me a photo of the dress in the two colors side by side so I could get a better picture in my head of what my dress would really look like when it came in- so nice. But now, fast forward to the end of April, I continuously reached out to Maryann about scheduling fittings, as time was moving very fast and I hadn’t heard from her at all. Finally she scheduled my first fitting for the 2nd week of May, but when I arrived to the shop she had the wrong dress. When she unzipped the bag and I realized, I immediately said that it wasn’t my dress.. she tried to convince me this was what I wanted!! Even after I pulled up emails and had the written contract that showed it was not the dress I ordered. I remained super calm, and asked her if there was any way she could get the dress I had ordered - still not admitting any fault she huffed and said she would see what she could do. I left the store, as I was a bit frazzled, but immediately got a call saying she could order the “new” dress - again, not admitting fault, apologizing, or even sounding the slightest bit sympathetic. She genuinely sounded annoyed that I wasn’t willing to just take the wrong dress.Fast forward again, she does get the dress in, great. Through each fitting she did nothing but complain about how much work it is and how tired she was, which is not a fun time for a bride trying to be excited about her upcoming day. She kept assuring me everything would be done on time, which to her credit, it is - I was able to pick up my dress today for my wedding on Friday (thank goodness) HOWEVER - she DOUBLED my alterations bill. Even though I had a written contract saying the cap was $595 she handed me a bill for over $1000- the week of my wedding! OH and she demands it IN CASH! I reviewed my contract over and over as well as emails and NO WHERE does it have a clause or statement of any kind talking about possible additional costs. My best guess, she charged me to have the correct dress rush shipped. When I asked for an invoice from the manufacturer to show the price for the extra lace she flat out refused and said clients don’t get to know that information. She is unprofessional, rude and flat out a crook. I truly hope anyone considering going here actually believes the several bad reviews this place has because I certainly didn’t - but reading back through them all I feel foolish. I could have avoided this nonsense stress and went literally ANYWHERE else. Seriously, Maryann is the WORST. She will do whatever she can to get your money, and then hit you over the head knowing you have no choice but to pay her if you want your wedding dress. She is unprofessional, untrustworthy and a liar.

Both my sister and I bought wedding dresses from Adriennes bridal. I can honestly say that you cant beat the prices here. I do recommend calling and emailing around the time your dress comes in because mine arrived a little late. However, Mary Ann assured me that there would be plenty of time for alterations and she was right. She even brought my dress to the long island store so it was easier to transport to the wedding venue. My dress was the one thing that didnt cost triple the amount that I thought it would be! The service isnt perfect since they are short staffed - the phone calls take a day or two to be returned - but I am sure happy I saved the $$ in the end. You only wear it once after all.
