The nyu book store is right off main campus, on Broadway . although its is pricey, you can get discounts with your nyu id card . there are clothes, technology and small household items . and plenty of items for the graduate. Swing on by and check it out. peace ✌

Great university bookstore!! Clothing is a little expensive but if you shop in the clearance section you can find shirts and sweaters at a reasonable price. Social distancing and masks were enforced.

They have a huge selection of merch and books, new and used. Yeah, everything is digital now, but it was cool to walk around.

While the store has a lot of merchandise, its not very student-friendly when it comes to price and process.I visited the bookstore multiple times, largely to browse potentially useful merch and to pick up my textbooks. The bookstore is very large. There are sections for all sorts of merchandise (apparel, graduation materials like diploma frames, accessories, school-specific merch like Stern and CAS) near the front, dorm and school supplies a little further back, and a tech store + online order pickup in the rear.While theres a lot to buy from here, thats wholly dependent on the state of your wallet. For example, an NYU Stern thermal water bottle was $42! Things at the bookstore are certainly way more expensive than they should be. Unless youre very proud, and financially able, to show off that you or a relative go to NYU, Id skip over.The other big problem is that picking up online orders is a headache. I ordered two textbooks online for pickup on 9/1. They werent available until after 9/2 and I couldnt schedule a pickup until 9/7. Upon arrival, I had to wait in a line of like 40 people that stretched across the store. It was not a very quick and pleasant process.Overall, the bookstore is worth visiting if you want to grab some quick merch. As far as textbooks and some articles of merchandise go, look elsewhere.

Its a great store with lots of great NYU stuff and its centrally located right in the middle of the urban campus of NYU! When my wife realized my son could possibly be going to NYU and started crying in the bookstore!

This is a very big store! There are hundreds of choices in Logo garments and plenty of other items to show your school pride.

Modern and clean, retail atmosphere. Came here for a gift and found something suitable. Counter staff was friendly. Clothing collection is vast and generally pricey (for example: golf polo for $150, cardigan for $100, t-shirts for $30).

I am a big fan of the updated bookstore. The store is pretty much the same as last year, but it’s much more aesthetically appealing, and they optimized the cash register area, which makes the line much more streamlined. The area where the books are displayed is still really organized and everything, and the service is still pretty friendly and helpful!

The NYU Bookstore is doing its best during the pandemic. Like a lot of places, it is really hurting. There are not as many tourists or NYU students coming in to shop or even browse. But the staff are friendly and warm and apart from having to get used to wearing a mask and following social distancing rules, shopping or just having a looking around is always pretty cool, because you can buy basically anything with the NYU logo here!

Sales people are helpful, without hovering. Prices are a bit high, but their apparel are made by quality sports brands. Anyone can shop there, you dont have to be a student or alumni.

College tour with students from the High school I work at.Was very organized and nice. Tour was nice. we lucked out that the weather was nice.Very nice college but all the buildings are laid out thru out the city. not a traditional campus.A lot of networking seems to be done at and with this school, which is good.

Its one of the best universities in the world with outstanding infrastucture. This corona pandemic has not deterred them but made them work harder to bring students to in person classes. Im currently attending the same way and i feel very safe following the precautionary measures. It is sequentially opening all its facilities such as gym, libraries and laboratories installing the precautionary measures at each facility.

Cannot get a competent person on the phone. I am a faculty member trying to order a book for my class and they gave me 3 or 4 bad emails, making me lose a lot of time. Great place to buy hats, sweats and merch. Not good for ``knowledge stuff.

Beautiful campus! Amazing University! I love how the buildings at NYU are integrated within the city! There is definitely a sense of a college campus but with the added Urban location you feel totally engaged with your surroundings! The staff is very helpful, I am her for my daughters graduation and all the events leading up to the event. I really love how the college community is welcoming all the family and friends that are in town for this huge event!!

The inside of the store is very clean and well organized. The staff working there is very friendly and very knowledgable. They sell everything from books, to clothes, to mugs, souvenirs, etc. Most of the stuff has some form of NYU branding on it. The books are well organized and easy to find. Overall the stuff there can be a little expensive but its usually good quality.

It has a nice selection of items that one may want to purchase as a souvenir after a visit or purchase books and other materials that are necessary for college study. Certain books that are not shown on the website can be found if you visit, this is more true for different editions of books. Books for some Cooper Union HSS courses can be found here.

This bookstore is the most confusing building in NYU because they switch up how it functions every single semester. If you went in two years ago and then went in now, you would not be able to navigate the vital functions of the bookstore immediately. The actual store section functions fine, but the merchandise, like most college stores, is overpriced and overrated.

Easy to see right off of Broadway servicing the Lower East side and the adjoining areas of Manhattan. Parking on the Street is available but it fills up fast especially at night and on weekends. Clean facilities. No public Restroom. On the expensive side so bring your credit cards. Staff is nice. We will most likely be going back.

I stopped by here after going columbia bookstore. I think Tee of NYU is cheaper than columbia one. Especially, I bought a hat and half sleeve Tee just in 20dallars.

Was so happy perusing my old stomping grounds and finding out that my alumni card gets me a 15% discount at the bookstore! Love the new renovations and Apple center, makes me wish I was back!

I love this place, because there is nothing you can not find about contemporary books. Its worth visiting.

I love the NYU bookstore! My daughter is a student at NYU and the bookstore offers an amazing array of school merchandise. They also offer a lot of items that may be forgotten when setting up a new dorm (like fans, organizers, etc). Prices are what you would expect for a school merchandise store. Dont plan on getting out of here on the cheap.

I flew out to NYU for a long weekend for my friends thesis presentation, and wanted to bring home a hoodie to commemorate the occasion. This is the first University bookstore Ive visited where you couldnt check a bag while you shopped. The majority of the apparel was Under Armour, and I didnt want to pay extra for the Under Armour brand and logo. I wanted an authentic, school colors, school seal, with a hood and either a pouch or a zipper. The closest thing I could find to what I wanted was a basic, crew neck sweatshirt.(Honestly, its comfortable, and Ive been wearing it all week, so Im happy).

Attended this school and loved the bookstore. Its been renovated twice in which the first renovation accommodated a mini Apple store and second to house Think coffee. There is a great selection of books and nicknacks for the commemoration of NYU students and alumni. I would take a look if youre a current student. Try to rent as much as you can instead of outright buy as things can get expensive. Furthermore, the benefit to buying text from the bookstore is the print out due to class number in the back. For science classes such as s orgo and bio there are packages put together which saves time.I wouldnt buy office supplies here because its expensive and you dont get points back as a student and staples is nearby. The Mac store is cool because you can easily purchase necessary tech here and as a student you can get a payment plan for hardware.The security is pretty hit or miss as sometimes they check your bag before leaving and some dont care. I prefer them to check and sign like they used to as it shows great attention to the possibility for theft.Overall good bookstore compared to other schools Ive been to. Obviously in part due to money.

I would say that it is foremost an NYU memorabilia store, which also sells books. It runs great discounts on books from time to time and sells a large variety of clothing in the NYU colors. There is also some tech in the back of the store where you can buy Apple and Google products as well as some other gadgets.

The renovations were definitely an improvement! The placement of some products is odd and the racks are somewhat close together. But less cramped than previously. They have a lot of options, but they could spin some of their marketing in a different direction.

Visited for Alumni Weekend. Nice store & layout (its a new store) but very high prices. Floor staff was helpful and friendly, but the counter staff was downright hostile when it came to honoring an advertised alumni discount. The cashier I had held up the line to argue with the manager as he was telling her how to honor it. Later I saw that shed removed the discount from one of my items. The amount wasnt enough to go back and fight over, but enough to make me wait a very long time before I shop there again.

I need to purchase something for class, but I want to make sure that it’s in stock before I take the 45 minute train downtown. I’ve tried calling a number of times but no one picks up any of the extensions. Customer service could be greatly improved. The selection, however, is good.

Pet friendly!!! I was in disbelief that NYU Bookstore allowed me to go in with my two corgis. My wife and I are NYU alumni and were so proud to walk in there and buy swag for ourselves and for our pups with them there with us! Love this spot!

DO NOT ORDER YOUR BOOKS FROM HERE. I ORDERED A REQUIRED TEXTBOOK OVER 1 MONTH AGO. LAST MONTH, THEY TOLD ME IT WAS ORDERED AGOND ON ITS WAY. TODAY THEY TELL ME, OOPS WE WERE BUSY LAST MONTH. WE JUST GOT AROUND TO PLACING THE ORDER TODAY FROM THE PUBLISHER. IT WILL BE A FEW MORE WEEKS ARE YOU KIDDING?!?! MY CLASS WILL BE OVER BY THEN.

There is so much to choose from! Shirts of all types, regular tshirts, dress shirts and performance shirts. Athletic clothing, sleepwear, shorts, caps etc and not only just with NYU but with the names of their different schools and programs!

A large bookstore that fulfills all the needs of both NYU students and prospective students. Or just locals needing gum or feeling for that local college swag. Has everything from candy to notebooks, and a ridiculously large range of NYU clothes.

I appreciated the pricing of books on this site, but I was dissatisfied with the customer service I received. I paid $18 for next business day shipping, and my book wasnt there the next day.When I called to resolve the issue, the woman on the phone was not well versed in customer service skills. She initially hung up on me because the call was echoey despite the fact I had only said hello. When I called back, she informed me that she wasnt certain why the book hadnt been processed. She put me on hold to investigate the issue. After being on hold for five minutes, I was informed that I had placed the order too late in the day to have it arrive on time, even though there was no disclaimer online when I ordered the book.After waiting a week and still having not received my book, I called to cancel my order. When I first called, I was immediately put on hold. I hung up and called again. I was again put on hold again for 10 minutes while the woman on the phone investigated the issue with my order. The line began to make strange sounds, almost like water running. I hung up and called back. This time, I was finally informed my order was cancelled.I never received the book, and it took lots of my time to fix the issue. I would not order from this bookstore unless you like having your time wasted.

Very nice staff! It is quite expensive and most of the Textbooks can be found elsewhere for a better price. They do have a good option where you can buy used books at a discount price.

Not much to say. Your typical university bookstore. Great place to buy your NYU swag. Other stuff are fairly priced or as expected from a university bookstore.

If youre looking for NYU merchandise, then this is the store for you. The store is about half bookshop, half merchandise. A great range of shirts, tops, hoodies, jackets, active wear and sports wear. There are also some great bargains to be found on some classic book titles.

This is actually one of the nicest college bookstores Ive been to. There is a wide selection of apparel and other school gear. There are also lots of books and a wide range of tech products. The seating in the middle of the store was really really great. My only issues are: the dressing room and the prices of the apparel. There is only one dressing room and a line can form during crowded hours. I understand that there is a need to make a profit, but college students are usually pretty broke. They shouldnt need to pay such high prices to rock their school.

This store is very convenient fircnyu students as well as other peoplea.They have almost all the student related stuff.And very beautiful cloths for girls and boy.Staff is very nice and helpful.All the aisles are clean and shelves are well stocked.They have computer shop also inside to help the students to solve their problem.

The store is very nice to shop in, I just wish they had a bigger sale area or some less expensive items because everything is ridiculously expensive. And the book buy back program is a joke! The most you can get for a book is $4.75. Its not even worth trying.They switched to Follett so it would be more affordable but it just got more expensive.

A good spot for getting a nice present to a teenage son! Or for yourself if you like a good and intelligent read.
