Great find while touring Chelsea Market. Easy to find best sellers along with books I would never have found elsewhere. Fun stationary items and children’s toys. We always end up spending more time here than we plan! Definitely on our places to visit list when in NYC.

I love this bookstore! They have so many cute stuff like NY souvenirs and posters.

Posman Books suffers from the indifference of its staff. The shop itself has a remarkable assortment of cookbooks, fiction, cards, and childrens literature, as well as a small and pleasant play-area for kids; the staff, however, are unpleasant. On occasion, I have felt as though I am putting them out when I ask if they have a specific title in stock or if they could order it. On my last visit, the person at the desk used profanity when muttering about finding an item for me. For that reason, I stopped buying cards and books at this shop.

I can’t stand this bookstore. The entire place smells like strong perfume. They always play loud music and the books on display are all gimmicky and without substance. Typical of Chelsea market I guess.

Perfect for a last minute gift in Chelsea market. The card selection world for any gift receiver and would make their day.

I spent $35 dollars there and was looking at books on the way out, there was a bookstore staff following me closely. Rude service.

They have an amazing array or books, planners, planner supplies. I got a fashion planner and stickers. I will be going back for more in future. I have my eye on their quotable mini cards for my planner.

WARNING DO NOT SHOP HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!!!!!Never again a rubbish store!!!! Been to NYC 3 times in the past few years. Always drop in to posman books and pick up a few things. Bought a backup power bank on Tuesday, wasnt working out of the packet. Took it back today and couldnt get a refund, exchange or a store credit. What crap rubbish poor customer service!!!! I was told by the shop assistant even though it wasnt working fresh out of the packet, they couldnt help me as it wasnt resellable in there store. So basically they have sold me an item that claims to be new and working and isnt. This is fraud. Never again will I shop here.

Pretty small bookstore with an ok selection of books. The space is a little cramped so its not a place where you can hang out and spend time flipping through books you want to buy. Because its inside Chelsea Market it gets busy, so its doubly uncomfortable with a crowd.

A small store with a small selection. Not bad, but they didnt have what I was looking for. Half the store is fiction, half is non-fiction, but theres not much in the way of science/technology/nature.

I did not find anything good to read at this bookstore, but I did find myself laughing at the amazing selection of voodoo BS books.

Don’t buy Chelsea Market cookbooks from here. I bought one cook book from here and another one from the kiosk that sells all Chelsea Market things in the hallway for $15.00 less. What a rip off! I repeat - don’t buy books from here!
