So sweet with Harvey Nichols cookbook corner. A break from The New York Times.
Not a big store. Didnt find many interesting things.
All the MJ goodies in one place. Books, bags, keychains, love live the fingerless gloves. Please bring them back! Miss all the MJ stores that were scattered about Bleeker St. and the West village bask in the day. Happy Book Marc still remains.
Great selection of artist books. Jake was super helpful and friendly
Very great clothing store, good collection.
This is the type of book store youd expect to find in your favorite museum. This is one of 3 locations, the other 2 are Los Angeles (Beverly Hills), and Tokyo. While primarily art and photography books, you may also find some very cool cookbooks, poetry, and collectibles, like a signed photo of Patti Smith, or a limited run of miniature Warhol Brillo Boxes. I also purchased a Murakami novel at the LA location a few years ago. Staff at the 2 locations Ive been to have always been tremendously helpful with recommended books as well as goings on about town. This is one of my favorite places.
Cool place. The stuff sold here are very interesting to browse through. You might find something you like, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case for me.
One of my favourite places to visit in NYC. It is so quirky and charming. I am obsessed with everything and anything Marc Jacobs, so this bookstore makes my heart happy!!! I love the variety of books and cool items.
If you are curious and interested in rare art/rock/sex books, this is a great place to go, like Mast Books, although is not a mom-and-pop store with cheap stuff. They also have some knick-knacks, prints and other things I dont remember now. As New Yorker as it gets.
My go-to place in NYC. Staffs are cool and very friendly. The store has some cute stuff; they used to have more selection though.
Pretty things :) small but very well curated. Bought a reasonably priced patch and got to look at some very cool purses.
Museum of when Bleeker street wasnt as bleak. Makes sure and pick up a Marc Jacobs pen that looks like a lipstick.
This was Marcs favourite bookstore. He found out it was closing, bought it, and the rest is history! Visited here twice. As an admirer of the brand its great to see his fun quirky side played out through arts and books.
Overpriced, you are buying into a brand... I would say that the store does a good job of catering to a certain clientele, but dont know how necessary it all is. Do you really need to buy your four year old a $150 stuffed animal? Call me frugal but I think that money could be spent elsewhere.
Used to go to Bookmarc a lot but its getting too touristy. The store is also very small and always crowded with people. If it was a bigger store, it would be a nice place to hang out and check out cool books.
If I could buy everything in any one brand and not look at the pricetag, it would be Marc Jacobs. I have a few things by MJ that I love. A basic black dress, made unique with a zipper accent and trim. Their pants work well for a corporate environment. Their bags are very distinct, though sadly not usually found on sale.
A modern twist on the traditional book store.
Great selection of hard to find magazines
Great bookstore. Well thought out selection of fiction, poetry, photography, music, and film books.
Not may items. Not remarkable. Not brilliant as much as I expected on the name of Marc.
If only all the tourists would stay away it would be the best book store in town.
Used to be a real bookstore. But progress, yea?
Really cool bookstore
Great bookstore!
Not much a selection. Its a tourist trap.
Lovely!
Dope store
Nothing special
When there was a bookstore directed by MARC JACOBS, it was listed in the tourist guide and I went there for a while. The shop was small and it was just a bookstore, and there were few stationery and miscellaneous goods, but there were a lot of fashionable books that became the interior of the room.I bought a heart-shaped compact mirror, iphone case, and iPad case with a brand logo because of the strong yen.The clerk was very polite and friendly and I went to the nearby Whitney Museum, which I recommended!
Its actually a small shop full of comfortCan come in and walk around, but it is really a small shop, very smallThe picture was so good
A very fashionable general store. The location is good, lots of nice things are on sale, the clerk is kind and very favorite.I go every time I go to Manhattan.
A lot of stationery was introduced in the guide map, but it is only a part, and mainly fashionable select books are displayed in a row. However, some of the stationery and gadget accessories are cute and reasonably priced, so its worth visiting!I was able to get a sale tote here. The clerk is also friendly and I can afford to return to the list 👌Its close to the center of SOHO, and there are fashionable cafes and shops in the area, so its a good idea to go out for a walk or shopping!
There are a lot of Mark Jacobs Monga.Cute and pretty ₍₍ (๑॔˃̶◡ ˂̶๑॓) ◞ ♡ ⁰
It was often used to buy souvenirs, but the assortment of miscellaneous goods as it used to be is gone.
The store is smaller than I thought! But the staff are very friendly and good :)
There arent many more things than I thought, but there are some cute accessories.
There are many photo books. You can also buy a heart mirror.
Its embarrassing because there are a few small items to buy as souvenirs. The case for the iPhone was colorful.
Very Oceany! The best clerk! I wanted a bag to hold a PC.
Theres nothing more to live than I thought
Good place to buy souvenirs !!
It’s very narrow, but there’s this and that
It is said to be a bookstore created by the founder of Marc Jacobs.
I have nothing to watch.
