They’re really helpful when picking what kind of lashes you want. They even give you a complimentary foot massage!! Which is heavenly. Service here is impeccable. A number of friends recommended this salon to me for eyelash extensions. I am so glad they did! The salon is clean the people are polite and they have packages for the different kinds of eyelash services. The prices are comparable to other places but I like the friendly and caring vibe they have here. Every technician is very skilled and I have never had one I questioned or disliked. I was really anxious to get my first pair of eyelash extensions but the ladies here were so welcoming and reassuring. They help you pick out the perfect length/curl/thickness for your face and eye shape. My technician was Angelica and she was beyond gentle and accommodating. My lashes look natural! Hoping they last a few week but have no doubts that I will be returning to see Angelica for a refill.They are also very clean and compliant with cover measures and policies!

My lashes looked amazing and actually stayed on for like 4+ weeks. i then got them removed and none of my real lashes were damaged which was a major plus for me. definitely recommend.

I love visiting JJ Eyelashes in Midtown. I’ve been going to this salon for several years and never disappointed. The staff is friendly and professional. I always get the diamond set and it lasts over a month. The longest I went without a refill was 6 weeks and I still has some lashes left (just a few but eyeliner and mascara made it appear full). I see Litsie and honestly each time I leave I am content. She is friendly and gentle on the eye. I love how natural and full my lashes look.During this current pandemic the staff are cautious and enforcing rules. The environment is clean, you complete COVID 19 screening questions each visit, your temperature is checked and all persons must wear a mask. The salon has also limited their intake to accommodate social distancing.I recommend JJ Eyelashes!!!

I always receive a ton of compliments and people ask me if theyre real or not - which I love because that means they look natural and not overdone (my personal style). Ive had a number of lash technicians and theyre all fabulous. Could not recommend JJ more!!!

I have tried several locations for lash extensions in NYC, Chicago, and LA. JJ Soho is my favorite! The work is consistent and gentle, and very reasonably priced compared to other high-end NYC salons. Angelica is especially patient and always nails exactly what look Im going for. I truly appreciate that the staff here showed me all my options and educated me before my first appointment... I wasnt even a newbie, and I still gained so much from our little one-on-one! Awesome place! I purchased the Ruby eyelash extensions, which was 80 lashes per eye. Michelle was extremely professional and the results turned out amazing! I LOVE my eyelashes and will definitely be back the next time Im in NYC. Go see them, you wont regret it!

Update: After a month, enough lashes are still intact and spread evenly that I feel comfortable/confident without mascara. Getting a new set soon (from a different salon) but I would definitely return to this location....I got my eyelashes done 9 days ago. I went with their recommendation of C shape and 10,11,12. I have large round eyes so was nervous this would be too long, but am very pleased with the way the lashes came out. I dont wear any makeup except for mascara so having my eyelashes look full and long without putting any effort is amazing. BUT Ive already noticed about 10-20% of the lashes have come off. Keep in mind, I dont wear any makeup (no eyeliner, eye shadow, anything else), and I wash my face with a milk cleanser twice a day but am careful not to rub the eyes. I am very surprised Ive already seen shedding. Overall, Id love to get lashes again but maybe from a different location.

I heard about this place from my coworkers, and decided to try it out. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the employees were amazingly friendly. They made me feel so welcome. My lashes came out very natural and beautiful, and it did not take too long. The whole process took about an hour and there was no discomfort involved. They even offer foot massages at a small additional price. This place was great!

Come here for perfect lashes and a relaxing experience. Yuji did my lashes and they were just the right length and size. She was super fast and I left looking beautiful and my lashes looked naturally long and lush. The Herald Square location is close to the subway, quiet, and clean. Expect friendly and quick service from the whole staff.

I dont know why this place is rated so low. Ive been coming for over a year and they are absolutely the best! My lashes look amazing and natural and I get compliments all the time. Dont believe the haters. These ladies are pros.

I have had my eyelashes done at multiple places and every time they arent done at J Js, I find myself knocking on their door 2 days later to have them fixed. Each technician is well trained and knows exactly how to apply the lashes to enhance the shape of your eye. Emily is my go-to-girl and always makes me look camera ready, even without makeup. (Did I mention you get a 10 minute foot massage during the service?)

Young is the best technician here. Im always impressed with her work. My eyelashes have never looked better! If you are interested in enhancing tour eyes without mascara and have it looking totally natural... stop by here!

I’m so happy that you have opened up again. You guys have brought back a sense of normalcy into my life since covid hit. My lashes are looking amazing again. Very bad experience this time, I was there for 2 hours, 2 people were switching doing my lashes speaking with each other the language I couldn’t understand. They didn’t say a word to me why it’s taking so long, the main one pinched my eyes multiple times that I still feel pain. The lashes were done very bad in the end and she did the length 11 even I asked for 9-11, some of the I can feel when I close my eyes and it’s very uncomfortable. I’m very disappointed with this experience.

I go to the midtown location every two weeks because of JJs: Friendly staff, clean space and relaxed setting. The free foot massage while getting your lashes done is wonderful. If you should encounter any issues, they are really great about fixing.

I LOVE JJ Eyelash. I’ve tried many other Lash Places but once I found JJ I was hooked! A client of mine suggested I see Litsie and I could immediately see the difference. I leave JJ with soft, natural looking lashes (and I do the Black Diamond 120 piece in extra black) with the perfect placement. AND THEY LAST SOOOOO LONG! I personally don’t like to do fill ins so I let the lashes come off on their own and wear mascara on them once they thin out but I can seriously go two months without needing a new set!I look forward to my lash appointments at JJ bc they are so clean & quiet. It’s like a nap in the middle of my day! The girls who check you in are always professional, sweet & welcoming. There is zero pressure and I never feel like I’m on a conveyer belt. They really take their time with you. I’ll never go anywhere else for my lashes!

Ive been a JJ Eyelash customer for years. I went for my last appointment on 2/23/19 from 5-6:30PM. I was already in the middle of my eyelash appointment when I heard very loud nonstop barking as well as growling. For the next 5 minutes before the woman got settled down, I kept hearing barking and growling.I then heard a growl right next to me, coupled with more barking, which is when I realized she and her dog had been placed in the bed to my immediate left. I spoke out about my allergy to dogs and asked if the dog could be moved farther down. The customer replied, Well, hes hypoallergenic. This doesnt matter, because dogs can cause allergic reactions even if labelled as hypoallergenic.I asked again if the dog could be moved, and my technician said, Were almost done. No one cared that I mentioned an allergy, which would have been a major disaster. From the brief period of time that the dog was there, it seemed like a badly controlled one, so I was fearful it may start biting and the owner wouldnt be able to restrain it since her eyes are closed.Thats the last time Ill use JJ Eyelashes for any service, because to promote accommodating a dog over a customer is just ridiculous. I calmly explained my allergy, and 3 people - the customer and 2 technicians - did not help in the slightest to help mitigate the possibility of the dog coming in contact with me. Also, by allowing the dog to stay and continue barking and ruin other customers experience is beyond belief.As I left, the dog was still barking and growling. This event happened over approximately 15 minutes. I saw the dog was sitting on the owners abdomen, so it was closer to me than I thought. There were also several unoccupied beds farther down where the customer and disruptive dog could have been isolated which would have been the right thing to do initially since they already made their mind up about allowing a dog to stay.Edit as of 5/3/19:They called to make things right and to let me know that it was wrong on their part to allow the dog in. I was invited back and given the assurance that this would not happen in the future. Im glad to be able to use their services again because the work they do really is unmatched.

Great service from Crystal. Super sweet and accommodating, and for my first time getting lashes I was very pleased and comfortable with them! She gave me a natural look and a great experience. Definitely would come back for her. Only reason why its 4 is because the setup of the salon was a tiny bit hospital-esque.

As someone who has been to multiple eyelash extension businesses, I have to say this one was just average, despite amazing reviews. I got eyelashes that were a bit more dramatic, but they had all fallen out within a week, when eyelashes should last a good 4-6 weeks. They looked great when I left though and the facilities were clean and the staff was nice.

I always receive services from Sunny and she is amazing. She used to in Harald sq but she moved Soho location. She is amazing anyway and she definitely got skills. Love my long cat eye lashes.

I got the diamond set extensions which took about 1.5 hours. While the technician was precise, I was poked a couple of times and had a reaction to the adhesive (tingling and irritation). My right eye was red and a bit swollen for 2 days. The receptionist mentioned that if this didn’t go away in 3 days then I could return and get the extensions fixed. I liked the way the extensions looked and hoped that this only happened because it was my first time. Other than that the overall experience was fine.

I received a call at 1:38 the day of my appointment to say the technician needed me to come in at 5 instead of 5:30. I felt I should been asked if it would not be an inconvenience. When I arrive at 4:55 p.m I hear my technician Michelle tell the front desk person her friend is coming to meet her at 5:30-6:00. I was scheduled for a Diamond Set which takes 75 minutes. Michelle completed my appointment in 45 minutes and it looks like a ruby set. This is 2nd visit. My 1st visit took more then an hour and looked fuller, it was a ruby set. I felt Michele rushed my appointment for her convenience, knowing she had a friend waiting. I felt she should have taken more time for a better result. She did mention my eyelashes were small.When I left the front desk person was not there so I could not mention my concerns to her attention. I was not satisfied when I left.

Ive been going to this place for eyelash extensions and its been great each time. The receptionist is friendly as are the technicians. Each time I go, the lashes always look good. The quality of the lashes are important to me and this place continues to do well.

Got a Groupon deal for about $46. It was my very first time getting lash extensions. Receptionists were very professional and nice. The facility was very relaxing, well decorated and very clean. My technician was Doma. She made me very comfortable and she was very gentle. It truly is such a relaxing experience, as you get to lay down the bed and can optionally cover yourself with a blanket and take off your shoes. The whole process was about 1.5 hr, not too bad. I loved the finish and I’m very satisfied with my purchase will be coming back!

My lashes came out really neat and they usually do a nice job it just depends on the person who does your lashes. Because the last visit I went to was very uncomfortable my eyes were blurry for about an hour after and the lady was very rude. But overall my previews visits before that were amazing !

The experience and look achieved were great, but almost immediately lashes started to fall from one eye. It was the second eye the technician did and it felt like it was rushed, perhaps that is why? It is now only 4 days later and lashes continue to fall at a much higher rate from that eye than the other. It is now a noticeable difference. I followed all care instructions and I have not had this experience when I got my lashes done previously at a different salon. I am extremely disappointed because this was for my destination wedding so I could not go in and complain or have it fixed as I left the next morning. I still have 3 more days until the wedding and am praying that maskara will fix this for the pictures. I would not choose jj salon again bc lthe price isnt worth it when the look lasts only a couple of days. I dont blame the technician, but the establishment. I believe she was rushed because they schedule appointments every hour back to back.

Found them thanks to Groupon and, after trying 4 different spots in NY I can say that JJ Eyelashes Herald Square is my preferred lash salon. These are the lashes that stick the longest so I’m pretty sure everything they use is top notch. The lash professionals are very talented and patient, plus the location is very accessible (by virtually any subway line) and prices are more affordable than other places with similar quality. Pro tips:- If it’s your first time, go for the Ruby set and come with examples of what you want so they can recommend the lash curl, lenght and style to apply.- Make your appointment with enough time in advance so you can choose a day/time that works for you since this service takes +1 hour. If you are thinking of coming here around a holiday, be sure to call ~3 weeks in advance to place your appointment.- If you are going to listen to music, only pug one ear as the lash professional will communicate with you in the process and your eyes will be closed.

I used to go to JJ all the time and had stopped bc I wasnt thrilled about making appts with people and then showing up and being given someone else.... i cut them out for about 18m but decided to go back and try again bc they are much closer to my officeWHAT A MISTAKE!!I had one great experience and was feeling good about my decision, then the second time I went back I was again *bait and switched* to a sup standard practitioner and the lash job was horrible. Within a day I was noticing that some lashes were spinning in weird directions obviously applied incorrectly and then about a week in they started molting, falling out in droves!! Then when I called to share this with them (12 days in) I was told *corporate policy* states that unless I complain within 2 days there’s bothing they can do??? They started falling out after a week! Is that acceptable to them? I looked RIDICULOUS at a wedding this weekend (9 days after getting a fresh set of lashes?!?!??) They think at my two week touch up I should be missing more than 50% of my lashes. Never mind that the twisting lashes after 2 weeks have started it really become painful!I’m disgusted that this is the customer service I received and I warn you NOT to risk it!

What I liked here is they give you foot massage while you are doing your lashes. It’s so relaxing I even fell asleep.

I always go to Erin, and she is just the sweetest works pretty fast, and has such a gentle touch. I hate the upkeep of lash extensions, mainly when they start to fall off.. but going every 2weeks does help. Im taking a break now but when I do get them... Erin is and always will be my go to lash stylist at JJ eyelashes.

No frills approach place in Soho for eyelash extensions. I got the Ruby set eyelash extension service here through a gilt voucher. The lobby has a pretty comfortable couch for waiting with some light amenities like tea and instant coffee. My appointment started more than 15 minutes late even though I arrived early and was told it would start on time. The whole thing took just over 40 minutes even though on their website they say a new set will take a little bit more than an hour. There was some mild discomfort during the application due to the use of tape and at one point some pain and tearing up in my left eye due to what felt like my eyelashes getting pulled on. The mini foot massage while they apply the lashes are a nice touch.

Overall great experience at JJ eyelashes. My appointment started right on time, staff was very friendly and environment was relaxing. I loved the end result of beautiful long (and long lasting) lashes. I will definitely be going back!!Appointment booking is also very easy especially for groupon appointments which is not always the case. Some establishments such as laser hair removal sites do not have the capabilities to allow you to make groupon appointments online.Excited to be going back!!Natalie Cereghino

My second visit to JJs- first was to Herald Square with a Groupon. Ive had lashes before, and I was upsold to a different texture and number - I liked them, but I moved offices, and I was noticing by the time I went in for a 2 week fill, I had usually lost a LOT of lashes.I just had a refill after 19 days at JJs, and I feel like I had lost much fewer lashes. Also, this time I was at the Soho location. The vibe and music was so relaxing I fell asleep a few times on the table. My lashes look great, and Im excited to have a new neighborhood lash spot and one that seems to be giving me better quality and longevity.

Got a deal from Groupon ($46) for a Ruby set. Im used to a much higher quality for this price back home but Im satisfied with the results. It reaallyy hurt when the woman did my right eye which was extremely uncomfortable and worrisome. Also, they put the tip as $15 (15%), didnt look like it was a recommended price either so I paid $15 but that is 30% of what I paid for for the coupon which I felt very reluctant about.

Im so disappointed.. I had a appt at 5pm to get a full diamondset (100)of which i paid $124.36. Christina did them Im so unhappy with my end result by the time i walked out my lashes were dropping??? Not to mention she did my lashes with in a 1hour??? Idk if she was rushing to do my lashes b/c she had someone else waiting.. Not even 24hrs my eyelashes are dropping im super pissed cause im going away im gonna reach out to them..😡
