My boss started going here when we relocated offices recently and he had to find a new spot for his frequent haircuts. He had gone to his last place for years so wasnt really looking forward to having to find someplace new - but luckily he found Pall Mall and Olivia and he couldnt be happier! He loves the convenient location, the professional pleasant atmosphere, and most of all the great cuts he gets from Olivia; and he said she is super nice as well!

I needed a last-minute, very important haircut for a TV / Film job, and I couldn’t be happier that I came in today to see Tenzin. So glad to be back after the pandemic.

DO NOT GO HERE! This was the worst barbers experience of my life. After walking in, my cut did not begin for another 10 minutes with the barber only bothered about speaking with their friend than asking about my haircut preference. The barber was then extremely unresponsive to taking my request, before turning my chair sideways to face the wall. After asking politely to face the mirror, the barber refused to accommodate my request, claiming that it was more uncomfortable for them and that my preference was irrelevant. After requesting one more time, the barber reluctantly turned me (making clear I knew they were not happy about it) before beginning to purposely butcher my hair. After I had asked for no hair to be taken off the front, I was given an uneven hairline. I was unable to communicate with the barber at this point, as they begun to aggressively ignore me entirely, remaining silent (even after I apologised for requesting my chair to be turned!). After all this, the barber turned my chair back to face the wall, and the 30 minute cut which I had booked was done in 15. Disgracefully, the barber still demanded the money after (which I reluctantly paid due to the overall aggressive nature of the proceedings). I would recommend never to go here if you have the choice (I certainly will not after this). If a manager or anyone else working here is able to get in contact with me, it would be greatly appreciated

My partner recently had a haircut and beard trim and was super happy with the results! Its very hard for him to find someone who will work on his hair and beard and do a good job so he has only positive things to say about the staff in Pall Mall Barbers. The enviroment was amazing and welcoming and the staff super professional and great at their job! Will definitely book him another cut there.

My curly hair is very hard to cut, and for my first haircut OD spent over 45 minutes analyzing my hair to make sure he cut it just right. He talked through what he was doing and did an amazing job. This is the scariest haircut I have been to, I almost cut my ear. The barber started cutting my hair and was very unprofessional. She was also the receptionist may be since it was just a haircut the receptionist gave it a shot. When she was using the machine she almost scraped my brain. All the reviews here cannot be trusted. I think all the above reviews are fake and I would like to request google to monitor these fake reviews.

Fantastic hidden gem of a barber shop located in the concourse of Rockefeller Square. High end, based in the UK, but having recently opened their flagship US location here, this is a very relaxing atmosphere, with a gentlemans/country club feel. Cut took about 40 minutes, and came out amazingly. During conversation, I found that many of the guests from The Today Show get taken care of here, and was also told that their vision is to be similar to their UK locations, by offering a more country club like experience, and to that end are to be obtaining a liquor license in the foreseeable future. Premium cost for premium service, worth at the very least budgeting and experiencing for yourself if money is an issue for you.

Overpriced for the level of service you will get. Buzz on the neck as opposed to razor, no washing, no warm towel, and too quick of a haircut (10-15min). Nothing different than the $15 guy I am used to going...

In a perfect world, your barber is like your doctor, or your priest - indispensable to your progress down a rough and rocky road. A trusted ally who has your back (and sides). An easy confidante...It was the first haircut not administered by myself or a family member for over a year. That and a beard-trim. World-class conversation with OD, and a great haircut as well. Top notch.

OD offers a superior service. He knows how to make his customers feel good and thats why I come back to him every few weeks... I leave his chair feeling like a new man!

Terrible experience, reserved OD because of the reviews online. However, I never received the cut from OD. Apparently, OD preferred to serve a long term customer rather than me (the person that had an appointment with him). The service was provided by Daniel (mediocre job). There was no consultation as Daniel English is limited (not his fault). The overall experience is comparable to the one received from a street barber. A discount was offered to me but Daniel wasn’t able to process it with the system. Overall, this was the worse service I ever experienced at a supposed high end barber shop

It was easy to make a reservation I showed up early and they took me. My barber was OD. He did an excellent job. I’ll definitely be going back next time I need a haircut.

I was a regular to the original Pall Mall Barber on Whitcomb street back around the time I worked in the offices above the Thistle Hotel across the street in 2005. Always had the best service there and that area in general had a real sense of a local community, despite being in the heart of Londons most popular tourist zone.Many years have passed, and I now live in Boston, USA and the pandemic gave my hair an opportunity to grow relentlessly for 6 months. I wanted a new style to the mop, so when I discovered that Pall Mall had become this international beast and was opened down in Manhattan, there was no where best to get it done properly.OD did a tremendous job - battling through 6 months of rabid hair growth, and presented my head a new lease of practical style. The place felt familiar, everything down to the taps, bunting, paneling and the sinks - its going to be a new old haunt for me I think. Well done Richard on your success!

Caught an early morning beard trim and haircut before a special event.I think we all judge our barbers on three criteria, decor, conversation and results.Pall Mall, and my Barber Ron, nailed it on all three counts.Ive always been blessed with a thick full beard, but it switches from lumberjack to caveman around the two week mark and im forced to shave it down to stubble again. These guys just shaved down all the stray hairs, shaped me up, and cut out all the crows nest so I can have a longer fuller beard that still looks neat.

I had looked around for the top rated barbershops and found this one with about 5 stars and 168 reviews. Arrived about 10min before my appointment and with about 8 months worth of hair and first thing I mentioned was that I was still growing out my hair and only wanted to cut the sides and I usually style my hair with a middle part and in the long run hope to be able to pull it back. Ill admit I didnt give the best explanation of what I wanted but I tried to look up the video of the haircut I wanted and to my surprise there wasnt any signal. I gave a description of what I wanted and ended up with an undercut. Kept quiet at first since in my mind Im thinking well its a 5 star barbershop, itll probably come out ok right? I guess not since by the end of the haircut I definitely did not like the haircut I received. I explained that I would go to the first floor to get screenshots of the video and would come back, and that I wouldnt mind paying the price of an extra haircut as long as I get a similar haircut to what was in the video. So I went up, came back with the screenshots and got my hair cut. I was told that it would come out a bit shorter to get the hairstyle in the picture. I agreed and the next thing I know I have very, very significantly shorter hair and at this point Im just sad. I dont show it but as Im explained the reason why its short I just cant help but nod and agree. I end up with a short haircut and Im told I can style it different when I only asked for a the haircut in the picture, a middle part... I end up with either slicked back hair, a side part, or a sad looking middle part. I now have no other options but to wear a hat everytime I go in public. To make matters worst I went on my birthday hoping to get an awesome haircut, 5 stars right? I know this review is against the majority but I just wanted to share my experience here. Im sure they give great haircuts to other people but maybe today was just my unlucky day. Needless to say this is my first and last time coming here.

I went to New York on a business trip before Christmas and I stopped by Pall Mall Barbers and I have to say that it was a great experience. The barbers were friendly and the service was brilliant. I would highly recommend Pall Mall for a true barber experience. I will definitely be stopping by again on my next trip to New York.

Haircut: 7/10professionalism and customer service: 0/10I gave the two stars review solely based on my experience with barber that I had. I went as a walk in, checked in, the place was empty and the two available barbers started arguing in front of me on who would take me as I was seated. the bib was not clean and had stains, so was the sink. overall it was a an okay haircut and I honestly would have overlooked the above observations but the experience I had with this person was just unprofessional and unacceptable specially at this price point (47$). I started by showing him a picture of how I usually get my haircut. he said he would start cutting the hair and If I feel I needed it shorter he would adjust, so he started with cutting the top and then asked me if it was a good length. I said I wasnt sure if it was good length because he has not touched the sides yet and from there things just went south. he got really defensive as if a insulted him and said I guess we have difference of opinions from that point he lost his composure, had a terrible attitude and rushed the haircut. this was honestly the worst and the most uncomfortable experience I have ever had getting a haircut. the haircut was not bad. I hope he reads this and use my feedback to improve his attitude and professionalism.

As a tourist, I visited this store for the first time. I have to say, the quality of service I experienced was unbelievable. My barber advised me on what kind of haircut would best suit the shape of my face, he even recommended different ways to maintain my new style. The attention to detail was unrivalled. I didnt want my treatment to end!

Without a doubt the best beard trim and shape-up I have ever received. I had grown my beard for several months to an unruly length. I wanted to maintain the fullness and length while cleaning it up for a professional event. I am absolutely blown away with the result. Top quality work and care. Ron is an artist with a true dedication to his craft.

Get my hair cut was always a nightmare for me, but this kind of place is what I had always looked for. If you want an amazing hair cut this is the place to go. Excellent customer service. My coat was taken for me while I was greeted by the stylists. I felt cared for by them. The styling “consultation” helped to reinforce how I’d like to present myself. I only discovered Pall Mall Barbers only recently and have been very impressed with the overall service. I have only used the beard trimming to date and probably the best I have found since taking on the beard look. I have used Jonathan so far and he is an easy person to talk with and knows his stuff when it comes to looking after beards, I will definitely be using again.

Went to this barber shop and I must say it was one of the nicest barber shops Ive ever been to. I got my haircut from a barber named Jon. His beard sharpness was on point, he knew how to cut my hair and the quality of products he used where of high quality and he was very sanitary and neat . And all the staff there are very friendly too.The shop itself is a bit tucked away, next to the men’s room in Rockefeller Centre. But trust me, it worth looking for it and getting your hair cut.

Let me begin by saying that visiting Pall Mall Barber Shop is an experience. A friend and client of mine saw that I was looking to grow my beard. He asked if Id like to go and I happily obliged. Im glad I did. There I met a wonderful human being and stylist named, Ron. This man is blessed and I had the opportunity to be a blank canvas for him to showcase his talent. I was amazed at his skill. It was the first time I had ever seen someone completed a trim using only two eyes, a single hand, a pair of scissors, and a trimmer. His hospitality and the service here was unparalleled. He even gave me tips on my curly hair and how to work on obtaining the length I so desire. I left happy with my new beard and having made a new friend. I returned several times since then and had the pleasure to meet some of the other staff who are equally skilled and pleasant. On my last visit, I had the privilege of meeting the owner. For the life of me, I could not remember his name. I believe it was Richard. What a conversation we had. We spoke for nearly an hour about a number of things from spirituality, training, travel, experiences, the list goes on. I think its time to wrap this review up or Ill talk your ear off. Great trim by Ron. Maybe the best haircut I ever had. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and assessed my hair before starting (I have a double crown which makes hair cutting a challenge). Highly recommend

Reservations, check-in, and working with Ron were all great. My only quibble is that Ron used a straight razor to trim around my beard but didnt use any cream/balm/lotion...it was like an Army field shave! It came out looking great and Ron obviously knows what hes doing, but I was so worried about razor burn I had to go to the bathroom next door and give my face a quick splash of water. I know it may have cost more or not come with my reserved services, but it would have been nice to have a cream or balm offered, or even something for an after-shave - Im not used to going without, plus its a good chance for an upsell.Other than that, would highly recommend.
