Support Local Black Businesses!!Great selection, helpful staff, and friendly service

It is EXTREMELY disappointing that in such an intense racial climate AND worldwide pandemic, paying customers(mostly Black/POC) STILL have to deal with being FOLLOWED in stores.I love supporting local businesses. This particular location has the basics for what you’ll need, but does not carry a wide variety such as others beauty supply chains in Harlem.Unfortunately after today, I will not be returning to this beauty supply. I was followed for the duration of my shopping(20 mins). While at the register, I mentioned being followed to the cashier. She replied “Oh, I’m sorry.” This is unacceptable.Honestly, if you cannot show the community the dignity/respect to not treat us like thieves, then why are you even at this location?

Awesome place.. just spent my whole allowance at Bliss Beauty! Wish I had one next to my house.

Hamilton heights is stepping up their game.Unbelievably a hip placeTo shop.. girls are so friendly and their mens section is sick. Royalty and crown brushes.

Great product inventory! Great in-store and over the phone customer service by all of the ladies working at the store! However, all of that greatness is overshadowed by me (I am Black) being followed in the store. I have bought products from this store on multiple occasions and every time I was followed in the store by the same Black gentleman while holding a basket full of items and ultimately purchasing them. In fact, the gentleman who followed me on all those occasions assisted me with trying to find products...….and STILL followed me around the store. He wasnt aggressive, but it was the good old Oh, dont mind me. Ill just be right beside or behind you pretending to fix items on the shelf..in every aisle you stop in. kind of following. So, unfortunately, I will no longer spend my money at this store. Recommendation: If this location wants to truly set itself apart from other beauty supply stores in Harlem with regards to their treatment of customers....Dont follow your customers around the store.

The staff was very helpful and always very nice. One young lady Lilly was running the store alone but she was very quick to arrange coverage all the while being patient with my mom and I as we asked for help with the hair. The whole experience was very good!

Bliss Beauty is an amazing store...just discovered it this morning in Hamilton Grange It is well stocked with all the amazing hair and beauty products ever. Easy to browse and navigate the store and all its products. The staff is well informed on what they carry and extremely helpful in getting you you want and can suggest products that are trending now and their uses. Im letting all my friends know about this store. Prices are great as well.Bliss Beauty...my new best friend😀👍🏼💖

The staff there is so nice ! Particularly Lilly ( I hope I spelled her name correctly), she is so sweet yet makes you feel confident in your buy . I also love how there’s a freedom to shop there often times black women go into establishments and get stereotyped making a worker there feel compelled to follow you around the store .This is usually quite uncomfortable. Rest assure this does not happen at this location . Very pleasant visit 😍

I stalked this place for weeks waiting for it to have its grand opening. I have not been disappointed. The staff is friendly and I was able to find everything I need to make my own natural hair products for my daughters. Thank you for coming to Harlem. The samples are a added bonus.

Today was my second time going into the store and each time I was greeted and asked if I needed help. The young girl there helped me look for a wig I love by the way. I just hope they can get someone who knows how to do makeup there in the vanity section. Will definitely keep shopping there!

The store is welcome and a great addition to my neighborhood. Its hard to find certain things or you have to go a distance just to get there for good quality. Im excited to shop here!! This will be my wonder store!

This place is amazing. The wig selection is decent. They have Korean sheet masks and a great selection of brushes. The place is huge and the girl, Jasmine, was a great help. Will be visiting regularly.

This place is amazing. They have one the widest makeup and wig selections in Harlem and the best products I have found since Ive been in New York. The prices are impeccable and I definitely recommend that you stop buy and get all your favorites. You wont be disappointed!!

The staff here is what makes this place great. They are always super helpful, down to earth, and willing to listen. They also have great selection of curly girl/natural hair products. My favorite brands are always there.

Like most beauty supply stores in the black and brown communities, the return policy is rigid---despite how much they are supported by the locals. Ive spent well over one hundred dollars at this location, in the few times I visited. However, I was not permitted to return a $3 unused package of black soap. Perhaps you may have not been able to resell it because it was opened, but in saving $3, this beauty supply store has lost a loyal customer who makes consistent trips to the beauty supply stores.

I was very excited that this beauty supply store was being opened around the neighborhood. I like how welcoming the employees are and that they do not pressure you to buy anything. They are helpful when it comes to answering your questions. I like that they have a wide range of beauty hair and body products to choose from.

This store has a wide variety of naturals products and a lot of stuff that I would have to normally get online! The staff is very friendly and helpful and informative. And i will definitely come back:)

Love them!! So, this place just opened up within the neighborhood and Im obsessed with it. Its only been around for a few weeks but Ive already stopped by a few times. Inventory is incredible- tons of hair supplies and makeup brands (I love NYX) always on deck and the prices are competitive- perfect! And the staff is super friendly. I hope they remain this way and dont change because its tough to get that level of hospitality at a hair supply store.

I came in this store looking for a wig and while i was looking the Asian man that was working there was watching me. This made me feel very uncomfortable and i did not appreciate that. When I ask for one of the associate to help me she was very nice and polite but she knew nothing about wigs and colors. Overall experience was not great.

The workers follow you around like you’re going to steal something. Don’t go in unless you like being stared at. Very disappointed

This place is a dream come true. I live in the area and as a professional Make Up Artist their selection of products saves me a trip further downtown, specially since the MTA isnt getting any better. I like the store. The isles are wide and long. The prices of all the items are on the shelves. The price points are reasonable. They have a large variety of health, beauty, cosmetics, and hair products for all ethnicities.

When I arrived I was assisted by Yarisbel. She was extremely helpful throughout my process of trying to find makeup and other hair care products. She showed a lot of patience as I went through a number of choices and was very knowledgeable when it came to all the various products I was deciding between. Definitely looking forward to coming back and receiving help from either Yarisbel, or any of the other employees who proved to be very professional.

They have the latest best products and good prices . They have many face mask selections which I love . Its hard to pass by this beauty supply and not walk in and buy something . Im glad they opened in my neighborhood.
