I really like this store and specially the wigs is pretty good prices and it worth buy it if you want to infest one and is very classy wigs l recommend to buy here we’ll l was back here and l love the collection of wigs and l got me another straight human hair and is beautiful l love it and is simple and easy l had been to many wigs store and this is my favorite one again l recommend to come here and l like the people there sometimes we have to be better person l will be back

The most uncomfortable shopping experience at a beauty store. From the moment I walked in the owner stares me down. So uncomfortable.Which is odd because I carry myself well, and polite to everyone.I have spent a nice amount of money in the old location.I would have happily spend more at the new location, if the owner wasn’t so rude.Its not like its La Mer Spa at the Baccarat .Will go to Manhattan beauty now.

Hi owner,To clarify, had I not been starred down, not worth my time writing a review on how I felt so uncomfortable.Maybe look at your cameras.Oh right, closing soon although there were still other clients there. We are in midst of a pandemic, you did not have mask for clients, I had to go buy one which is why I got back there 10 minutes before closing.Also, you we’re NEVER once warm or welcoming, or greeted NOT ONCE, or apologetic about ‘time’So much more polite online.You’re right I’m better off going too La mer, or other places with people who are nice! :)I don’t expect anyone to greet me.I shop all the time, makes no difference to me, expect I notice who’s actually warm and welcoming.

DELIGHTED to find Mane wig shop, its not a wig shop its salon. Plenty selections of styles, colors, lengths, and textures of wigs. The staff was knowledge and assisted with our transformation,. $2 for one stocking cap! They also carries hair extensions, weaves and hair for braiding. They carry hair products and accessories. There cosmetic eye lashes to lip gloss.Their jewelry earings to noise rings. Dont hair dryers and hot combs.

They have everything you could want n their prices are decent. I will definitely shop here again for all my beauty supply needs.

Facials are done in a room with glass on 2 sides, but it didnt take away from the experience at all! The aesthetician did an outstanding job and completed all of the steps one would expect during a facial. She knows what she is doing. The place was very clean and fresh and products used worked well for my skin, Overall a brilliant experience and exceptional value!

My love this store. The staff here are all polite. Very welcoming and helpful. I used to buy products from helena hair collection up the block, this one person who seems like she is the manager of the store just turned me off from buying their over priced hair and product in there. Never shop where you feel insulted. Not at mane beauty this is my second experience in the store and the experience was awesome sauce. Also during covid online purchase was wonderful. They kept me updated with my package delivery and tried their best to have it arrive has fast as i wanted. Please check them out. They sell most to all beauty supplies you need. 💕💕💋

Went here while in NYC for work and wanted to add to my collection of amazing hair pieces. Kris was so amazing as well as the entire staff to help me pick a beautiful piece to make my look complete. So wonderful for their personal one on one help and service. Definitely will come back and refer all my friends to this place. Fabulous.

I really love the owner, she’s so sweet and always order products that I personally ask her to . I’ve been coming in for years and she always made me feel comfortable. they also have every product that I want and the store is always clean . the rest of the staff is fairly good too but the Asian owner is the best to me

Absolutely terrible customer service and defective products. I came in and bought a nail polish that did not work as intended and they refuse to let me exchange for something else. The store clerks arent very friendly either and the store is always a mess. There is a better beauty supply store on 35th so I would recommend you go there

This store is great! The quality of the synthetic wigs are amazing. Yesterday a friend and I ran to grab some wigs for our Beetlejuice Broadway cosplay, we werent disappointed! They were easy to style.

Absolutely love my wig from Mane Beauty.I got lots of compliments on it the very first time I wore it. Everyone was surprised when I said it was a wig as it looks so real.Great customer service too.

The service at this shop is stellar. I went to see if I could find a ponytail hair piece and some Halo extensions in my hair color.I struck out on Amazon - my hair is a very ashy shade thats tough to find. But this place had them! It took the saleswomen a little while to find the perfect match but she did!This place has really good reviews, but I was nervous going in at first - Ive never been to a wig shop and I thought the people there would be snotty. But the Latina woman I worked with (Banya) took her time with me, showed me how to put in the different pieces, and also let me try on some wigs.Thanks for being so patient with me, and for your outstanding service. It really meant a lot to me. Ill be back for my tape-ins this summer!

Very nice staff. There is a comfortable dedicated space for the wigs where you can see them perfectly and make your choice. Its bright enough to see the different colors of the wigs and pick the right one.At my first visit, they helped me to find the perfect wig. I came back couple weeks after to buy another one. They were helpful and great advices.

I got a hair piece here..it was OK but too curly for me to make bangs on it. I took it to a wig specialist and he added more human hair to it and also said some of the hair on the piece was nylon! I was told this was a human hair wig. I will never go back there because they are not honest.

I REALLY like this Beauty Supply store. Both owners and staff are VERY accomodating, friendly, helpful, and patient. The shelves hold a wide variety of items and great brands. I missed them since they moved.

This place has a good selection of wigs and extension but if looking for hair to do braids or crochet they dont have a big collection I had to go to Harlem 125th st.

Found the wig I wanted. They looked in back and said they only had the one on display. I asked if there was a discount for display wigs . They said, no, they only carry one of each style (so why did she look in back for another one?), but even if they had another one in back, people would have tried it on. So be aware, ALL THEY SELL ARE USED WIGS at new wig prices.

BUYERS SHOULD KNOW: that you are not getting a brand new wig from this store. We were informed that they only carry 1 or 2 of each style and they are all used as samples for customers to try on. Keep that in mind if you are someone who likes new and unworn pieces...This was my first time wig shopping ever. Thank God my friend who is a wig expert was with me because we basically received no help. The people working there were very dismissive. We were looking for a natural blonde wig which I understand is not always easily accessible but after asking once or twice if specific wigs came in blonde we were told this is all we have. Then when we were ready to buy the price was so much higher than what was on the mannequin and we were told that is because customers mix them up when trying on... our bad luck right? It just was not a great experience and I dont think my friend and I were being difficult at all. I was in a pinch to get a hair piece so ended up buying a wig that looks great but is synthetic, cannot have heat applied, and has been worn and touched by who knows how many other people... for almost $200... I think there are plenty of other places to try.

I love this place, been going here for like 8 years now. Best location not a 4 star review because need a bit more training with the employees on hair care and relaxers. I asked a tall spanish guy about a product and he didnt know what a relaxer was because kept saying the name of the product. I asked about something behind th cash wrap which was a pre treatment that you use before relaxing your hair. He couldnt explained it either. More training could be done on issues like that.

They have good collection and the prices are very reasonable.

I understand why this place is called WIg and Plus. It is a standard Beauty Supply store, but they definitely focus on wigs and hair extensions more than they do anything else. If youre looking for something of that nature, then this is the place to go. Otherwise, there is a good selection of beauty supply products and cosmetics as well, especially NYX Cosmetics.
