Great place, and a real find in this day and age. I called. Someone actually truly knowledgable, intelligent, and friendly picked up and had a detailed conversation with me about the ACs I was looking at. Took the purchase over the phone. Delivery was seamless. This is how I want my interactions to be when I buy a big ticket item. Im torn about writing this review, because Id like to keep this place my secret. On the other hand, I want them to stay in business, because the interaction felt like an antidote to the lackluster experiences Ive had at box stores, amazon, etc. I spent a lot of money on two high end air conditioners and I felt good about it. Still do two months later.

I was lucky to get a same day delivery as they had a delivery coming my way just as I was buying my air conditioner. Great prices and great service, thank you !

Only store in NYC that had the AC i was looking for and had it delivered in a matter of days. Customer service from Lawrence was excellent, very easy to contact and would respond very quickly to email. Even followed up a few days after installation to make sure all was good. Great experience. Will come back here for all appliances in the future.

I have wanted to purchase a compact freezer for years, and due to the current climate, I thought it was more imperative than ever. Unfortunately, was I started doing research I realized that everything was either sold out or back-ordered everywhere; I guess everyone had the same idea. I searched for days/weeks and finally came upon Vendomes website. I sent them a note about a product I was interested in purchasing. Sadly, that item was out of stock, but Lawrence informed me that they would be getting something in the warehouse in a few weeks, and I would be at the top of the waiting list. I checked in once a week and always received a quick and friendly response from Lawrence. Two weeks later, I got a reply that a freezer had come in and it was mine if I wanted it. I did! I ordered it, and it was promptly delivered the next day! I am so happy with the freezer, and the customer service was fantastic! I highly recommend.Also, I received a same day check-in email to make sure the delivery had gone okay. A++++

Lawrence at Vendome is awesome. He responds quickly, he gave an honest, unbiased opinion and had the Window AC in stock I had been searching for. And at the lowest price Id seen anywhere. He quickly processed my purchase and was able to deliver and professionally install it within a week. The 2 gentlemen that came to install the AC did a fantastic job. Set up was quick and easy, they caulked, properly secured and tested the unit. I am extremely satisfied with the entire transaction and interaction with Vendome and highly recommend doing business with them.

Extraordinary demonstration of product knowledge and customer service to make a seamless buying, delivery, and installation experience!It was Sunday during COVID-19 lockdown when my fridge decided to break. After calling three local businesses in the area, Lawrence picked up. He put aside the time on his weekend to:- Help educate me on what type of fridge I should get- Point me to a variety of options- Honestly help me pick the best one for my needs (which was not the most expensive one!)- Arrange for delivery and removal of my old fridge.Lawrences team was able to drop off + install the new fridge Monday and remove the old fridge at the same time. In less than 24 hours I had a new., working fridge. I cannot recommend Vendome + Lawrence enough, I didnt know customer service like this was still a thing in 2020.

I was hundreds of miles away on vacation when I called to talk about a few must-have appliances for my new apartment in hopes that they will get delivered by the time I get back. I found the appliances on the companys website and had some questions about them. Lawrence was very helpful and knowledgeable of the products.I bought the products and I paid for shipping but later realized I still wouldnt be back home during the shipping window Lawrence and I discussed. He arranged for my purchases to be held in the store, which turned out to be more convenient for me. He did all the heavy lifting himself and brought my items outside, where my cab was awaiting. My shipping cost was refunded and I have been a super happy customer. I will return to Vendome for my home entertainment needs.

This company is a hidden gem in mid-town NYC! We were shopping for a new apartment air conditioner, and had compared all of the big box stores in Manhattan, and discovered that Vendome actually beat their prices! As a small dealer without a walk-in street level showroom, they dont have the real estate overhead, and share an independent dealers buying warehouse service, which allows them to beat the big boys. The owner is friendly, professional, and helpful- a rarity in the bigger NYC stores...We had our new A/C the next day from the warehouse. They are now our go-to first choice for appliances and A/V equipment.

I needed window air conditioners in a hurry for a new apartment. Vendome provided delivery within 2 days, and the delivery was early in the predicted time window. This meant that I could have the air conditioners installed before the (hot) weekend by the building super. Prices were below list, but I honestly was more concerned with availability and delivery time than price. And they had the specific models I was looking for. I recommend them highly.

Amazing customer service – Lawrence scheduled AC units to be brought in from the warehouse for me to pick up next day, and when they werent available by the time the store was closing he had them delivered to my apartment free of charge to make sure we got them in time, and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. (Also, the stuff I bought was cheaper here than on Amazon.)
