I made an online headphone purchase- my second purchase from Audio46. It shipped very quickly and arrived within 2-3 days of placing the order. I ended up not liking the headphones for subjective reasons and requested a refund a few days after receiving. My email was responded to very promptly and an RMA was issued without question. I repackaged the item exactly as I had received it and shipped it back. I did have to pay for return shipping, which is only fair. Audio46 issued a full refund the day they received the item.In a hobby where expensive doesn’t always mean better, Audio46 is someone I can purchase from with confidence. Their customer service offered me a painless and reasonable experience. I would absolutely buy from them again and recommend them to others.

This is my favorite site for auditing earphones, with great location and their service is absolutely amazing.I had great conversations with Tony K and Tony A, they are both knowledgeable and chill. Bought my T1 3rd gen from them and they resolved a small cable issue real quick.It’s relatively hard to try on new in-ear monitors in other places, so if there are more available iems for demo, it would be even better. Tried Final A8000, Noble Khan and Vision Ears VE8 today!

Never been here before. Couldnt get what I wanted from BH. Audio 46 had the brand new Sennheiser IE300 in stock. Walked right over and picked them up. Super knowledgeable staff... Friendly service... Ive made several purchases from Audio46 with the help of Tony K. He goes far above and beyond for customers. He also is very knowledgeable about all of the products. He recommended for me the perfect amplifier for my Aryas, the Cayin IHA-6, both of which I purchased from him. He can also show how to set up everything if needed. I wont go anywhere else.

A new product purchased from Audio46 proved to be defective (FiiO M11 Plus Ltd). After lengthy testing and correspondence with FiiO they requested I return the unit to the retailer. Wary of stocking fees I called Audio46 first and was assured by their representative there shouldnt be any problem with that. I returned the defective unit and within 24 hours of their receipt I was told ...We had two people test your returned item ... and could not replicate the defect. Sadly this means that we have to process your return minus the standard 15% restocking fee. Given what Audio46 charged for the item this was a non-trivial dollar amount they took from me - for a returned defective item.More concerning is the practice of denying a defective product is actually defective. A warning to anyone doing business with Audio46, especially if considering their open-box items (they may be reselling defective items).

Coooolest spot to buy audio gear. A colleague turned me on in 2016. A quiet setting with personal attention makes the shopping experience that much better than most places. The respectful and courteous staff makes that possible. In 2017 I purchased a pair of Sennheiser O/E headphones, May I purchased a set of JBL Reflect Contour2 sweatproof earbuds for the gym. Both have fine sound quality. Ill go out of my way to shop there before Best Buy. Note: my JBL Reflect Contour2 earbuds shorted out in one ear. I got a replacement weeks ago, so far so good.New Entry: On October 10th I purchased some new rubber tips for my ear buds. Ive been here to take passport photos over the years as my consulate recommends this place. All process is smooth and has good quality. Sadly, due to Covid, they dont offer digital version now. Hope they will resume this service soon.The communication between the owner and my consulate is not well. My consulate didnt tell me the portrait service has been ceased. And the owner didnt explain clearly that the reason why they dont offer the service due to Covid at the moment. So, there was confusion.

I work down the street and passed the storefront everyday for the last 7 years and thought it was one of those tourist trap electronic stores in Time Square, but it turns out to be an AUDIOPHILES PARADISE! Is trying out headphones in person not research? Its not like I asked him to show me every headphone in the back, just a couple from inside the glass! How else would I find something I like?! I was being treated like I was mentally handicapped, I get better customer service from fast food people...The 3 headphones that were available to try on near the counter were worn down and nearly broken. And everything else was behind the glass. You would think a headphone store should have headphones that can be easily tried on and A/B tested without an employee slowly opening the glass every time you wanted to test out one of the headphones. Just use some security device if youre worried about theft.TL,DR: I didnt feel welcome at all and I wont be coming back after doing my research. I would rather wait for Amazon to ship me the same headphone instead of walking 5 minutes to this store.

Went in to try out a pair of headphones before I bought them, found out they didnt have then on display and asked the person at the cashier. He quickly went to the back, got the exact headphones I wanted, got out an amp and even a cable to plug the amp into my phone so I could try it with my own music. Place was small and cozy and staff were kind and knowledgeable. My only gripe would be that if you dont know what your doing ahead of time then this store isnt for you. Definitely for going in and trying what you want before buying it more so than finding what your options are (b&h).

He explained the warranty for the item & He upgraded our shipping & assured us we would have the headphones in time for Christmas. We received the headphones just like he stated. Terrific experience. I was in NY on my way back to Switzerland wanted to buy a headphone amp, so I stopped in to have a look in person. I appreciated the friendly style and the excellent advice. When we ran into some trouble with my android phone (an older OnePlus 3), they spent a long time troubleshooting with me - and when they couldnt find an immediate solution, they even threw in discount should I figure out the problem on my own. Eventually, I DID find a solution (for a VERY OnePlus-specific issue that they could hardly have known - though they DID get me pointed in the right direction) - when I came back for the amp, they were happy to see me, and I traveled back home a happy man!

Fair prices, all the audio gear you need in one compact store. They will open a box so you can give the headset a listen. Had an awkward exchange when I followed up after my purchase. The tips for my IEMs were pretty worn down and did not seal in my ear, right out of the box. But hey, they did end up replacing the tips with some good ones. They also sell replacement tips if you need them.

Im never buy there something but they give good information when i ask something about headphones. Recommended for audiophile headphones, it is similar to our Dutch company HDPHNS (Hear) in Amsterdam Netherlands, but there service is really bad! Audio46 is the real deal I called them several times with questions of some issues I had with a new MacBook Air that I had purchased I could not figure out how to connect a headphone amp/dac to it they were kind enough to help me with my issues while other headphone shops were not able to help me. because of there knowledge and there willingness to help me with my issues . i decided to upgrade to a chord mojo and I purchased it from them before I received it I had made several phone calls to find out what I would need to make sure I had all the accessories I needed to make sure it would work properly and again they deliverd they have awesome customer service when I decide to upgrade my headphone this is who I will purchase from AUDIO46 is the bomb!!!!!!!!!
