Look no further for an honest, neighborhood mechanic. I have used them multiple times, some very serious problems,(fuse panel replacement, A/C replacement), and some very minor issues. (A/C tune up, tires, battery). Today was the icing on the cake. I had my expedition towed in for starting, then dying. Happened before, but miraculously, it seemed to correct itself overnight.(Love when that happens) I called and let them know what happened (because I had it towed to them when they were closed), by the time I called, they had already looked at it, AND fixed it. Just a vacuum leak and another minor issue. Now get this, I tell them I will pick it up when I get off work, get there and ask for the total, no charge sir. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Who does that anymore? This is 1950s service, when people cared about their reputation.

This is the 1st place ever that I felt comfortable taking my car as a woman and not being ripped off. You should try this place, they dont charge anything for diagnostics and fix your car fair and square.

A few months ago, I brought my Buick Regal into Auto Technologies after it shut off while making a turn. Rico looked at it, found that there was fuel in the crankcase, was familiar with the issue, and let me know that I should have it towed immediately to the dealer because it should be covered under a non-automatic recall that was about to expire. He was right, and I ended up saving thousands in repairs. He didnt even charge me for the visit. I was very impressed by the honesty and the level of care that Rico, Amber, and the rest of the staff showed towards me on this visit and in prior visits by other members of my family. In instances where they have made repairs, they have always been of the highest quality, made in a timely manner, and at a very reasonable price.

They fixed my tires within 30 minutes! There were two giant nails that were missed when I had my tire patched somewhere else. The staff, Amber, Lilly, and Rico were kind, fast, and generous.

As a woman, Ive had really bad experiences with auto repair shops, with the male dominated space and stereotypes about women not knowing anything about cars, I regularly got ripped off compared to prices places would give my husband or dad. Auto Technologies was the complete opposite. Rico made me feel so welcomed and respected and NOT patronized or brushed off because of not knowing all the details. He changed my timing belt and water pump for 300 less than tires plus was charging. They also changed a lot of other things I needed and often left the labor fee off. I literally saved 500 dollars compared to what local chains were charging me. I immediately felt like friends with everyone there. Amber was also knowledgeable and friendly! I will NEVER get car work done at a chain after these guys, Im sticking with them for good. So professional, so honest, and a job well done. Thank you Rico! Blown away by yall.

Great staff willing to go above and beyond to meet customers expectations. Took my car in on Wednesday, because my car was shaking. They looked my car over and I needed new tires. My car did sit for a few years and was but driven add the tires developed flat spots on the tires. I called them Thursday and have them the go ahead on the tires. They finished it Friday (mostly because I was not able to make up my mind on tires) and I was unable to get there due to lack of an available person and transportation. So, I was kinda upset that I would have to wait till Tuesday to get my car back. (Monday was Memorial day). But to my surprise I received a call, first thing Monday morning, the staff decided to work a half day, on Memorial day to help get people back into their vehicles.Thank you guys for all your hard work. Highly recommend this shop!!!

I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. I was in the market in buying a used vehicle. They would look over the vehicle for free, one thing I like about this place is they won’t lie about needing a bunch of stuff that you don’t need. This is the only place I will take my vehicles, I have been going here for years and will never go anywhere else. I had my new truck towed all the way from st. Pete to there. I thought it would cost a lot more than it did to get fixed. Any other place would of because it’s a used truck and would of lied about stuff being wrong on it. Carmen is the most honest mechanic youll find anywhere and I wont take a car of mine anywhere else. I use my vehicle for work and these guys keep my car in top condition. The service managers and head mechanic are extremely honest with their customers. They dont do a hard sell on what needs to be done about service or repairs to your vehicle. They just tell it like it is. We are first time customers and will continue to go there for our service needs.

I had a great experience with Carmen and the folks at Auto Technologies. My 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee needed a new water pump. Carmen and his team analyzed the problem and replaced the pump within three hours at a very reasonable price. I lost just one day of work. Carmen actually came out to pick me up and take me to the shop when the work was done. Highly recommend!

These guys are the real deal! I started going to them a few years back when I had an issue with my 2011 Mustang GT. They were really honest, helpful and took real good care of the car. Did the same with my 2015 Mustang and with my dads Dodge Grand caravan. If you want some honest and proficient mechanics, this is definitely the best place to go to!!!

Always great, honest service. My car is older and has had issues (and has been driven by teenagers for 5 years now) but these guys have always been quick and straight to the point whenever I needed help. They will work with you and try to help you out if you are in a crisis. They dont over charge for oil changes either ($20!). Needless to say that if I ever need ANYTHING done to my car at all I will not let anyone touch it other than Auto Technologies, and I live in Pinellas County!

I love this shop! Ive taken my Eclipse there for all its needs, (which is a lot). They replaced my transmission, belts and hoses, radiator, alternator, AC compressor, tires, literally everything. I would not trust any other shop, everyone here is amazing, my boyfriend even takes his Charger there now and a former co-worker takes their Mercedes because they do such a great job!

Terrible. I took my Jeep to Auto Technologies for a covered repair on my extended warranty. I knew the repair was 100% covered as I have had the same repair done at the dealership before with no problems at all and absolutely no cost. Charlie informed me that my warranty didnt allow him to charge enough for the part and required that he use factory parts and not cheaper after market parts so he couldnt make enough $ on the repair so he would have to charge me $50 extra to make up for the fact that he couldnt make enough profit. I told him to not to do the repair as I could take it to the dealership and not pay anything. So I pickup up my Jeep and he kindly charged me $42 for the diagnostic evaluation. A repair that should have cost me absolutely nothing at all now cost me $42 dollars from a repair shop that will not even be doing the repair at all. Thanks for all your help Charlie, I guess you will find a way to make your money one way or another. I will never return to this repair shop and would never tell anyone to go there. I guess I will keep looking for an honest mechanic you isnt trying to squeeze every dollar out of me.

Ive been in and out of this place and not because of them, but because my car decides to be a pain at times. These guys where there for me when I was freaking out on the side of the road with my car broken down. These guys helped me learn what was causing my car not to work. These guys are very friendly and just good people in general. These guys helped me with tune up, tires, new brakes, oil changes, and replacing a computer (twice) long story! Moved down here and relied on google reviews. Only went to this place and couldnt be happier. Prices are good. The people are kind, caring, and will tell you what really needs to be done and what doesnt. Would recommend them to anyone.

We recently moved to the area and decided to use this business for a oil change and filter. I wanted to use a specific brand name filter and synthetic oil and they said no problem. Had some sticker shock at a $91 bill, but paid the bill and went about my way. I decided to do my own oil changes from now on and today when I tried to get the oil filter housing off, I had to use a impact wrench to loosen it up. Moron must have used a impact wrench to tighten the filter housing. Oh, and by the way, $8.38 for the filter I wanted and 6 quarts of Mobil 1 synthetic at $4.50 a quart. I know they did the work and have to make some money, but $91.Yes, I wanted the specific oil as you mentioned and I also wanted a specific oil filter which is a off the shelf item at any NAPA store. Ive been in the oil and chemical industry for close to 40 years and Ive never heard of matching a better oil filter to synthetic oil. That filter housing could be empty and the oil would still do its job for a while. As far as your oil prices, you need to talk to your supplier because he must be overcharging you since you dont believe you overcharged me. I can get 6 quarts of the oil I specified for around $30.00. And the NAPA Gold oil filter, which I paid $8.38 for is hopefully the one you put in. So that comes to around $40.00 and you charged me $85.41. Most suppliers will deliver the oil and filter to your shop, so there was no running to get the supplies. So that looks like $45.00 to just change the oil and filter ? I realize youre in business and need to make a profit, but $45.00 for less than an hour ? And I have the special Toyota oil filter wrench and using a socket and breaker bar I could not loosen the housing. Even the impact wrench had a tough time getting the housing loose. The housing has machine threads and uses a o-ring for the seal, not brute force. One of your people went nuts tightening the housing, plain and simple. As far as saying something a year ago, I should have questioned the charge, but the overtightened filter housing is what set me off. I now know to never use your business and if someone asks, I would not recommend your business.

When in to have them look at my car and never even got to talk to someone when the owner came out and told me to move my damn car that i was blocking his stall and that this wasnt a parking lot. I hadnt even walked inside yet . That told me everything i need to know about this place .

These guys are a joke. Firstly, they ordered the wrong part which made the job take several days longer. When I picked up my car they didnt bleed the air out fully and the clutch felt like total garbage. When I brought it home I noticed they didnt even put the driver side fender back on properly. How can you possibly give a car back to a customer in this condition and charge WAAAAY too much!!! They invited me to bring it back so they can bleed the air out, but I decided to bring it to a mechanic who knows what theyre doing and charge an honest price. Avoid these guys at all cost!!!

Auto Technologies has serviced my Toyota Highlander multiple times for oil changes, and tires. I have always been impressed with their service and prices.

I can only describe my experience as being very professional and helpful! I brought in a project car that I bought for my son it is a 1996 Pontiac Gran Prix and I had weird noises coming out of it and feared the cost of repairs wouldnt make it worthwhile to play with!This repair shop knew I did not plan on having any work done at their location, but they took the time to raise it on lift and examine the car for 30 minutes, then gave me a list of work that would need to be done. They also reset the cars electronic controller, which made that noise go away!Lowered the car and parked it. When it came to cost, I asked how much do I owe, they said nothing!I took it to them for their opinion, they gave it for free! I have since taken 2 of my other cars in for repairs and service and I have been happy with the results and fair cost!

Auto Technologies is under new ownership (Carmen Discepola) this year 2013. I took my 2005 Jeep Wrangler in for a bad vibration. The service manager, Mike Nazzario, showed me the bad parts. They replaced the u-joints on the rear driveshaft. The vibration is completely gone. The work performed and the price was great! I would definitely recommend them for your auto care. I am planning to go back and have the rear brakes replaced by Auto Technologies.Update:10/14/2013 - Today, I took my Jeep in for a complete rear brake job and a transmission flush. Mike Nazzario (service manager) is very friendly and reasonable. It has been a long time since I have felt comfortable in taking my Jeep or any vehicle somewhere. It is a great feeling that I can drive away and not have to worry about going back for incomplete work. I would definitely recommend them. I have finally found my auto repair shop.Update: 12/31/2017 - I still bring my Jeep here for all my repairs and oil changes. The Service Manager, Rico, and the owner, Carmen, are very friendly. My neighbors and family always get great service.

Carmen was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was expecting the worse with my 08 GT Mustangs brake system. I was expecting pads, rotors and calipers, but Carmen quickly put me at ease and even showed me why calipers werent needed. I was able to get my brakes and rotors machined along with an oil change for a fraction of what I expected. He was also pro-active about my future tire purchase and gave me 3 variations to choose from. As many of you know its tough to find an honest mechanic these days....but im now im a customer for life.
