Prices of tires, services, etc, are quite similar. The differentiation: the people. We found the people at Mavis seeking to please, explaining little areas which may be an issue later, asking for our business, doing a great job faster than promised, explaining what they did, and .. saying thank you for your business once we picked up the car. Based on our experience I would highly recommend Mavis for your automotive needs.

Outstanding Experience with this location, they did a quick job changing two tires and didn’t tried to over sell me. They even gave a discount! I wasn’t aware that when changing only two tires you need to rotate the new ones to the rear, they did that without me asking. The manager was very friendly, great customer service. I was in a rush this morning to get my kid to school and I called Mavis to see if they can swap my spare tire with my fixed tire because I lost my lug nut key. The manager rushed me in immediately and took care of me site on scene so I can still get my kid to school on time. I would leave a ten star review but only can leave a five star. Best customer service I’ve ever received.

Stopped in today because my low tire pressure light was on. Even though they were very busy, they were very helpful and said they would get to me as soon as possible. It did take an hour, but I had two screws in my right front tire and was repaired at no charge. Well worth the wait!!!

Great service and reasonably priced. Stopped in for just a quoteand to schedule an appointment. Perry said he could replace my tires, shocks and alignment that day. Had a headlight out and needed it replaced. - Perry was great - turns out it was just loose, he checked things and double checked to ensure that was the case and it didnt need to be replaced! Quick and easy- couldnt ask for better service!!!!

Perry gave me a price and when he found out I had different size tires, even though he had to charge me a small amount more for the bigger, right size tire, he ended up giving me an alignment for free! An $80 savings which more than made up the difference in the cost of the tire size! I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be back. Great place! Great prices! Great customer service! They give what they promised in a timely fashion. Perry the manager was great, I observed him not only with myself but others as well, his customer service in my opinion was Outstanding. Being a female with no knowledge of cars I depend on car dealership telling me the truth on what I need done. I live down the street from Mavis Tire and Brakes and saw great prices on brakes and tires. I showed them my paper form the dealership and asked them to do front brakes and front tire. Perry at front desk said we better check that before we do it because places can name things you really dont need. A few minutes later Perry takes me to my car shows me what worn out brake pads look like and has me compare it to my car. come to find out I didnt even need brakes at this time and my tire was in good condition too. They inspected the rest of my car and showed me that the I needed a new tire on the back. He showed me how to look at the treads. Long story short they are honest people and could have done exactly what I told them to do when I walked in. I only have a part time job right now so I appreciate saving money right now. Thank you Perry and everyone at Mavis Tires and Brakes. I AM SO VERY HAPPY I CAME IN TODAY!!! I WILL BE BACK!!

We have come to this Mavis twice now to have repairs done on our Kia soul. The first experience was good and we felt that we could trust the place, which is why we came back the second time. On the second visit, Austin took care of us personally and went above and beyond. He was extremely courteous, trustworthy, and gave us a great deal on the work that needed to be done. Highly recommend this Mavis if you need your vehicle serviced, and highly recommend asking for Austin!

Called around to get shocks and struts replaced and Mavis is the only place that quoted me $200 lower than everywhere else, and included warranty on their work. This is what sold me on getting the job done here. I go to Mavis for all my oil changes, brakes, and basic maintaince as well. If you need somewhere to go that can knock out oil changes filters brakes tires alignments and rotations all in the same day. I would recommend Mavis. Quality work and good prices

Perry was great, he was under quoted a price on a new axle and boot but he still honored the price he quoted me, always amazing great service and honest work. Last time I was accidentally overcharged on a repair and even though it was only a $30 difference they gave me a free synthetic oil change for the mistake which is a lot more than $30 so I really appreciated that! Highly recommend getting work done here!

Mavis tire (Perry and Austin) came trough again. I found a nail in my tire at 7 am, they got me in for the repair at 8:30 and I was out the door at 8:48. I also bought a full size spare from Mavis a few months ago. They beat all of the online stores for price. I highly recommend Mavis tire.

I took my 2012 Nissan Altima here after feeling like I had been ripped off at multiple other places before. They took the time to show me exactly what I needed and why, and gave me a very fair price. I was in and out in just a few hours despite being a walk-in. The whole experience truly exceeded my expectations.

I googled top rated tire shops near me, Mavis Tires & Brakes was the first facility to pop up. I was in need of getting two tires put on my car, but I was fearful I would be paying an arm and a leg for good quality tires. I came to the store and was able to be seen right away, which given the fact of having a special needs child with me made this an easier experience. The two gentlemen provided me with the absolute best customer service I have ever seen from a tire shop. I was given an excellent rate on two brand new tires. I highly recommend this facility as it not only provides excellent customer satisfaction but also great quality tires at an affordable rate.

Warning! Dont go to this place.They lie to you. Took a trailer tire that was 6 months old and the rim and to have a slow leak investigated and repaired. Manager on duty stated that it was against DOT regulations to repair a trailer tire. I asked him if it was against DOT regulations to dismount the tire and inspect for a bead seal leak or a leaking valve stem he said cant work on trailer tires Dot regulations.Ive researched DOT regulations regarding trailer tire repair and the only regulation against repairing is if a puncture is in the sidewall or near the sidewall area. This gentleman at Mavis tires and brakes on Little Road and River Crossing Boulevard refused to even look at the tire based on what he called Dot regulations. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced.You have been warned.

Went to get my ac charged, mechanic over charged my system and told me my compressor was bad and would need to be replaced. Took it to another shop and was told the compressor is fine, just triggering the safety switch due to system being over charged. I do not recommend this shop for any work. Mechanic said it is impossible to over charge my system when clearly it isn’t because it’s exactly what happened. Released refrigerant and my compressor and ac is working great. Glad I decided to go elsewhere instead of having them Change my compressor.

Caught a nasty hole in my tire from a hook in the road. Went to a prior shop down the street who tried to rob me $140 for a new tire and tell me the hole “was not repairable”. Went to Mavis, was seen immediately, and quoted only $14 for the repair. Everyone was friendly and handled my inconvenience quickly. Thanks Mavis!

We have been to Mavis on Little road in New Port Richey several times and they have allways been 100% honest and treated us right. this last visit was for my 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 ltz with a 6inch lift. it was having some pretty weird vibrations and i thought for sure it was a tire or something to do with that. I left the truck with them and they called in a couple hours saying it was transmission related and that they were unable to do the repair it needed. when I arrived to pick up the truck they had printed out an entire 3 or 4 page report on the chevy transmission issue that i was having and through their own research and time looked it up and printed all the information out for me and told me take the truck and this report straight to a chevy dealer they should fix it for free as it is a recall and known problem to chevy. They did not have to do that for me and by the way they didnt charge me a dime!! these guys are awesome and VERY trustworthy. i HIGHLY recommend them and will continue to visit them with both of my vehicles !!

My truck was vibrating lime crazy. We told mavis which tire we thought it was but asked them to take a look at ALL of the tires because we were going on a 1500 mile road trip. I will definitely find a new location to go to after this. I made it all the way to Fayatteville Ga before I pulled over because I couldnt even hold my steering wheel. They didnt bother checking the rest of the tires or they would have found my right front tire separating. They didnt even bother wiping the oil hand print off the hood of my truck. Not a great experience!!!! Will not go back to this location ever

This place was extremely accommodating. Had a flat tire. Called them first thing in the morning, they had my tire in stock (Chevy equinox), but they were thankfully able to save my original tire! The staff were very nice and helpful. Great vibes compared to some auto shops! I will for sure go there for any other repairs in the future.

I walked in a Sunday to try and get an oil change. I waited politely while 2 employees talked amongst themselves for a few minutes until one decided to acknowledge me.He asked how he could help me. I told him I needed an oil change. His reply was aint happening today.You can make an appointment if you want, but It Aint happening today. I said no thanks, and went a mile down the street to Jiffy Lube and the manager worked me in. Mr ItAint Happening with his gut hanging out lost the business of 3 vehicles that day with his nasty attitude and sloppy look.First impressions say alot and mean everything In customer service. Ive since had 3 oil changes at Jiffy and brakes work on 2 cars. Bad vibes all around.

My wife told me she had a flat tire. I filled it up at the house to drive it to a shop and the I called Mavis to see how quick I could get service. They had me run it over and although I was told “30minutes” to get to looking at it, they pulled it in within 10 minutes.The tech that worked on it, Jeremy, and some other guys inspected it for holes, dunked it in water and everything and they couldn’t see any problem.They kept looking and realized that the dealership had failed to put a part in the tire stem which wore the part out quite fast.Even with having to figure out a different issue than expected, the team at Mavis still got me out of there (I chose to wait and not drop off) within an hour.Overall, great first experience. They shot me straight and provided a great service for me in a pinch. We’re def planning to visit again as needed, and since we’re likely in the market for some tires soon anyways.When I get work on vehicles done, I really just want to be able to trust the shop I choose and Mavis has definitely earned some of my future business. Thanks guys!

My son had a tiny nail in the tread of his tire causing a slow leak. He called Mavis and scheduled an appointment for the next day to have a plug put in. Within an hour of dropping off his car it was done. Great job. The only thing I noticed was there was grease all over his rim that they should have wiped off but they are very nice and will be back when its time for new tires.

These guys helped me out last minute after another business sold me a defective tire. Recommended.

Very good experience here. Had two tires installed and an alignment done. Everything went fine after they figured out where my tires were. Issue was communication issue between them and Goodyear, who shipped the tires. I took off a star for that, since it caused a little confusion and added a little time. Other than that it was good enough for me to purchase a full set of tires for another car and the second pair for this one from their location near my home.
