Great little spot close to many hotels that offers pour over! So happy we got to check this place out. They had 3 syrups which they make in house. I had the cinnamon which is one of my favorite flavors. 😋 I also had the apple turnover. The pastry was super flaky and what most pastries desire to be like! Id visit again.

Not sure if it was the manager or the owner, but he was extremely rude about us not wearing a mask upon entry. We are fully vaccinated and pro mask but at the time were taking a few minutes to find our masks in our bags. Normally love this coffee but will never buy again because of the treatment we received.

Went in for chai and pastries before heading back to Austin. It was about 10:30 Sat morning. There were 2 groups of two before us and the gentleman working was alone. It took about 30 minutes to get our chai as he was solo. Ive got no problem with that at all, being in the service industry myself. The issue was his attitude. It bordered on straight up rude, no personality or friendliness involved at all. It was apparent he was miserable and wanted everyone to know just how irritated he was.. Ive been in his position and its all about fake it to you make it. Ill definitely never go back for that reason alone.

I have been coming to this Tchoup street coffee shop for years now, and I am always blown away by Gisellis service. Giselli takes pride in his work, and is the only one who makes sure to tuck the tea bag filter into the 2nd cup to avoid it dripping on my hand. I couldnt imagine Revelator with him.

I tried both the coffee and chai tea. Both offerings were delicious. A few gripes: cup size, cost of almond milk, and not too many food options. If youre looking for a Venti Starbucks size - this is not your place. Its a small business. When I researched it, there werent too many other locations. One size coffee/tea - small. $1 for almond milk up charge when the big chains cost less than $1. I paid for experience. It was a nice location, quiet atmosphere, not too crowded, available power supply, friendly service, outdoor seating, and an old fashioned punch card. The St. James Cheese Company is steps away. I would love to see RCC offer food from St. James Cheese Company. I think they would make an excellent duo.

I’m from NYC and have heard non-stop how “people are nicer in the South.” welp, i just had that proved to me so emphatically that i had to post a review immediately. i don’t do google review often, but these guys were so sweet and patient. i asked a thousand questions about all the coffee and even though a lot of the ones i was asking about had just come in, they seemed to know everything. i got their names—Ghiselli was so sweet and made me laugh before i’d had caffeine (remarkable) while Kyle was super-helpful and friendly. and they were both so polite! they took the time to ask me questions about myself and my trip, they recommended places for me to visit...do i really have to go back to the stuck-up, hipster baristas in Brooklyn?? thanks again, guys.

Best coffee we experienced in New Orleans (full disclosure we only went to 6 places). Loved the interior of the place - super minimalistic and uncluttered. Also loved how straight forward the menu is. I like coffee but feel overwhelmed when their menu is akin to the cheesecake factory book menu. The barista, Erika, was by far the best service industry person we interacted with. Beyond her amazing tattoos she was so nice and genuinely one of the coolest people I met on the trip. Too many baristas will force some small talk but she was generally great and extremely fun to talk to (we were there early and not a lot of other customers so its not like she was neglecting her job to chat). 12/10 recommend

Typical non-chain coffee shop with good seating for laptop warriors and friend meetups. Walked from the Convention Center, thought Id try this place since the reviews were good. Could smell great coffee about 1/2 block away. Got there at about 7:30 AM, saw one staff member working, with two customers to one side and one at the register. I stood behind the two, when two others walked in and got in line at the register but with some space between. When the other two got their food, I realized that I was standing in the wrong line. When I tried to get behind the customer at the register, the one behind me told me to get to the back of the line. Bottom line: not enough staff for 0730, and customers who are intolerant of newcomers. I walked out, wont bother coming back.

I enjoyed a great cup of drip coffee here (in a beautifully made mug, I might add). They coffee was rich and bold and strong — and, importantly, piping hot.The atmosphere is modern meets industrial.
