A favorite place of mine! This review is long overdue. The cafe is a cute and relaxing little spot. The owner is awesome. And the crepes are delicious, and well priced for good portions.I remember my first time I was surprised, because I generally thought of crepes as being tiny snacks, but a crepe here is actually a delicious and decent sized meal.I think the Farmhouse and Montecristo are my favorites, but it’s hard to go wrong. The food is great and so are the milkshakes! Also, it’s worth noting that if you can’t eat gluten you can get your crepes made with buckwheat instead and those are damn good too!
Best Crepes I have ever had in my life so far! This man knows how to make his Crepes and is a very humble person. Worth the wait if you ever have to wait for service!
Great Food, friendly chef. The crêpes were freshly made and well priced. Will return and suggest it to anyone who finds themselves in New Orleans!!
Quaint eatery with delicious crepes. Best breakfast in the neighborhood
Excellent place! Came in with 12 people and the chef worked quickly and everything was delicious. Don’t miss out on this place A++
Two stars because the food is good, but the service was horrible so otherwise one star. While waiting on the customers ahead of me with effusive warmth, the guy behind the counter mumbled answers to my questions and tossed the menu at me. When I thanked him for my food, he met me with stony silence and markedly turned away to resume his friendly banter with the other customers. Will not return to this jekyl and hide space.
I was curious and skeptical about a previous review that said it was a one man show but let me tell you that this man is amazing! The lattes are perfect and the food is so smooth and delicious. This is definitely a place we will visit every single time we come to New Orleans.
Tried a Monte Cristo and a Capri and both tastes GREAT! This should be my new go-to from now!
The crepes were amazing. The only guy working there was quick and made sure that even if he was busy he would take care of them. A+ would go again
Visited with my friends. There were six of us, and everything was ready pretty quickly! Food and drinks were excellent. Everyone loved it, savory and sweet. Atmosphere is awesome, and service was wonderful. Highly recommended!
Great experience! Nice guy working really hard alone. Quick on his feet and great attitude. Food and coffee 10/10. Totally would recommend and will come back.
Great vibes and calm atmosphere. Even though it was a 1 man show, food was still set at a reasonable time. Food was awesome as well. Definitely a repeat go to when visiting the city again
By far the best place to get crepes in New Orleans! The place is quaint and small and there a plenty of options to ordered. They have savory to sweet. The crepe itself tasted so delicious! The workers and manager was so nice! It was so good I came back the next day. If I lived here, I’d quickly become a regular. Worth it to stop and try the best crepes in town!
Amazing food and coffee! Highly recommend for a quaint place to start your day before exploring! Can’t wait to go back.
Great crepes! Very similar to the ones in France. Good breakfast crepes as well. Kids will love the fruit crêpes. Service is nice but wait can be a little longer since they can only make about 2 crepes at a time. Ice chai latte could be a little sweeter but thats a good thing. They dont overdo the food with salt or sugar. The seating outside is perfect for people watching. One thing that surprised me was that there isnt a bunch of horn honking from the cars. Sitting out on the sidewalk is nice and relaxing on a coll breezy day.
This is a stand up place. Food is incredible. Nola vibe for out-of-towners. Quiet. Quaint. Affordable. Great coffee & the vanilla shake is to die for. Massive crepes filled with fresh ingredients. Breakfast crepe and the pesto crepe was delicious. Sweet crepes with amaretto custard...omg. Amazing. We kept coming back.
Great service, great atmosphere, and great food! went with three of my friends and got a farmhouse crepe and a caramel milkshake that was soooo good. will probably go again :)
Best crepes in town! The coffee was amazing and James was rocking it out being a one man band. Cant wait to go back!
Incredible crepes and delicious coffee! Pro-tip: if youre in town on a Sunday its free to park, and we were steps from the front door! Highly recommend the Lucy Crepe.
Gluten free banana and Nutella crepe was tasty. Alamo crepe was good.
The Tuscan was delicious and fast service! Perfect if you’re flying solo for Sunday brunch.
Good coffee. Good crepes. Good crew.
The food here is so yummy and healthy and often youll see the guy that designed the place, the owner, the cook, and the cashier all there, because theyre all the same person! He does get some help sometimes. :)That block of Magazine, on both sides, is one of my favorites:Gallery Burgiere, Miettes, Bella Umbrella, Derby Pottery, and more.
We googled best crepes in New Orleans and arrived at this wonderful little shop tucked in amongst a series of crafts, art, and a clothiers. The atmosphere was amazing with the owner sitting out with the customers clicking away in her laptop and casually raising her vision to ensure vigilance of her staff and patrons needs. The food was as expected insanely good. We had 2 savory crepes the Surfer and Florentine and one sweet the Lucy with a home made cream that was devine.
Amazing crepes and coffee!
This is the place we stopped at while it was raining on & off. We probably wouldnt have stopped if not for the rain but would have missed some great, savory crepes. It was pretty much self service but it didnt matter. It was a cool, down to earth place where the chef did his thing. Im really glad we went in!
Rocking place! The coffee was good, the crepes, stupendous! I cannot believe this was my first time there. This will be my go to breakfast stop in the future. It should be yours too!
My daughter enjoyed her mocha frap. The restroom has to be in the Guinness Book of World Records as the smallest.
I love this place so much! i wish i can go back, but i unfortunately do not live in that area. it was an awesome experience and actually my first time trying crepes! and i was not disappointed! each crepe is definitely customizable! the staff is friendly and was very cautious about sanitizing the place. the coffee was good, i would recommend having more syrups. the atmosphere was calm and i loved the look of the coffee house. such a cute little shop! the vibe was definitely calm for such a busy city. it is definitely something i recommend and talk to everyone about this place! go to DeVille if you visit Magazine Street!
It was delicious. Definitely will come back..
A must try! Good vibes and great food!
Delicious crepes and coffee. Great service & atmosphere
Food is great! I love the environment and vibes of this place. Great place for brunch and coffee!
Great service and absolutely delicious crepes! We just happened upon this place while walking around near where we were staying, but Im glad we did. Sweet or savory, you cant go wrong here.
Wonderful little shop. Dont be fooled these are large crepes. They make a great meal, not a snack. The variety is large, creative and delicious. I am a burger guy, but this idea is great. Guys this is a great place to take a date. She will love it and thing you are doing it for her. Win win. But seriously great tasting crepes at a fair price. Will be back next time I am in New Orleans.
Fantastic little spot! My wife and I were in NOLA for the St. Pats parade. Sadly it was cancelled & bars/restaurants were closed except for takeout. We were so glad to find this place open (for takeout). The dirty chai was delicious, but lets talk about the crepes. They were amazing! And the staff was very friendly, even in a tough circumstance. You should definitely stop here if youre in the area. Support a great local business & get a delicious meal.
Best crepes ever!
We went to a few places around New Orleans. This was the first time everything we had was good perfect. I was pleasantly surprised that their wasn’t a line, seeing as the places we went had a line and food was half decent. Had both the savory and sweet crepes. The Lucy Crepe was very good and only had a slight hint of being sweet.
Delish! does a caffeine junky some good!
The crepes here are delicious! Im happy this place is close to where we live, so we can go here often. The owner seems somewhat grouchy at times, bit I think hes probably a nice dude. At least the food is amazing :)
Been here several times, and have been blown away by the customer service and food every single time. Owner is super nice and is always willing to talk your ear off while making you some mouth watering crepes!
Fantastic! Really one of the best crepe places in town. Great atmosphere with comfortable booths. Great hidden gem for breakfast or brunch. A perfect addition to the area. The staff is friendly and the crepes are incredible. Weve had almost all of them and my favorite is still plain with sugar.
There crepes where the best.
A must stop when in New Orleans. Great little place. The crepes were so good and a lot larger than I anticipated. I had ordered the Ninja which has mushrooms, spinach, roasted red peppers and mozzarella. Hubby had the Atlantic which had capers, salmon, cream cheese, maters, and spinach. He gobbled his right up and then we also had a banana Nutella... we thought they were smaller before we order but these are awesome. If we were in town longer, this would be a total repeat stop!
Nice variety of both sweet and savory crepes. We had three different (Farmhouse, Ninja, and Caramel Apple) and all three were excellent!Small place with local flair. Friendly staff.
When I went to New Orleans, I really wanted to have some nice crepes. My friend found this place and we ordered two crepes. They were really good! The best crepes Ive ever had in my life. If I go to New Orleans again, Im definitely stopping by this place!
Best crepes!!Wonderful and friendly.Thank you for making us feel welcome !!
Came in off the street, lovely couple greeted. Explained the menu and I had the best ham aND cheese crepe. Very reasonable pricing. Great place. And lots if little shops near by to wander until your hungry enough to go back for desert
All around amazing place. Lots of options to choose from along Magazine St, this one is absolutely a must. Great coffee. Walked in with a group of 5 and the one guy working didnt even break a sweat.
This place is perfection! I could eat my weight in crepes every day here. The music is always fantastic and the service is too. I dont care that it takes a little bit to get drinks or food. Its completely worth the wait. Its never really that long anyway. Love love LOVE this place!
The best crepes Ive ever had. It was amazingly quick service for a one man show, and they were really great. Nice little spot on Magazine, and easy walking from nearby hotels.
Great little place for breakfast or lunch. Good drinks. Small place with limited seating so might not be great for huge parties. Crepes were perfectly cooked both days I went and the customer service was friendly.
Service was friendly and relatively fast. Cute little spot in the Garden District. My friend had a tomato in her strawberry Nutella crepe but honestly it was still delicious otherwise and we all enjoyed our food and coffee.
Great crepes and atmosphere! Cant speak to the coffee. I had asked if it was fresh and the girl behind the counter said its been in the thermos for 2-3 hours. I asked if she could brew a fresh pot and she declined...so I passed. We were the only ones there and were not greeted. so customer service could have been friendlier. Great experience because of the food and would definitely come back.
Amazing Crepes! Had the Atlantic and the Lucy both were incredible. Super cool little place and super friendly staff. So glad we found this place. I recommend not missing it if youre in New Orleans
This place has wonderful Crepes and Espresso. I had gluten free batter with apple, blueberries and Nutella. So good!made fresh, wait time was 5 minutes. my friend was not feeling in the mood for crepes and everyone was so nice and treated us wonderfully. The atmosphere was wonderful.
Definitely go here.Crepes were fantastic, coffee was wonderful too.
Generous and delicious brunch crepes and gluten free crepes are available! Very reasonably priced considering the size. One block from stop #11 on hop on hop off bus near garden district.
Delicious crepes!!! Phenomenal place for brunch.
Plates were too small for the price, we ended up ordering extra plates, but the taste was good.
Great vibe. Staff was very friendly and the smell of food when we came in was pleasant. I will definitely go again.
Love my local coffee shop. Its so wonderful to have a place you can go where they know your name and share your life. Oh! And they have GREAT coffee and crepes!
We had the Capri and the Strawberry Lucy and they were both AMAZING. Nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly. The strawberry lemonade was great too.
I was looking for a unique food experience and although the food wasnt bad, there wasnt much to it; Bland and (the guy who seemed to be in charge?) Seemed to be struggling that day. So idk... Maybe its usually different? But I was definitely forgotten about, so I made a joke to lighten him up bit obviously failed to correct the mood. Cest la vie. On a brighter note the girl working behind the counter (who apparently wasnt an employee) saved the experience by her bright disposition. So Im still saying its work checking out, but good luck. 🍻
Excellent sandwiches/ crepes that are inventive with unusual combinations. Staff seemed standoffish and cold, maybe because Im not 20 and female. I asked what is most popular and got the answer crepes. So I asked what do most people order and he said I dont know. I expect that in a chain, not in a little one of a kind place. If you choose to treat your customers like that you wont have many of them.
Nice, small restaurant with limited sidewalk seating. Crepes were delicious and service was great. Definitely recommend the crepes suzette.
Walked in on a busy Memorial Day weekend. Owner shouted at us that he was short staffed and wouldn’t take us. Don’t waste your time or your money no southern hospitality here. There are way too many better and kinder places to eat in NOLA. We are industry people. We understand long waits, long lines, slow food. It’s all how you deliver and blatantly refusing customers is not the way to do it. Good luck to you sir.
Friendly people, great crepes and good coffee. What more can you ask for.
This is our favorite breakfast place. I LOVE crepes and DeVille does them exceptionally. Their coffee is also quite good. Service can be a little slow (but always friendly and curteous) because they only have two workers and I think only one crepe griddle, but its always worth it.
Yummy crepes but theres way too much cheese in them. Still taste great. Best for two or possibly three people because they seem to make the crepes one at a time. There were five of us and it took a while. Smallest bathroom in existence in the entire universe.
Excelente meals and variety.
Everything was so yummy and the neighborhood is loaded with fun shops. Everyone was extremely helpful.. Good friendly service. Highly recommend.
This place is amazing. Great atmosphere, great music selection, and the crepes are terrific. As long as youre not in a rush, this place is as good as it gets.
Perfect little happy brunch spot. Never too crowded. Crepes are delicious. Farmhouse + coffee = hangover cure.
We didnt try the crepes however they smelled great. We arrived as soon as they opened just to get some coffee before walking on Magazine St. I ordered a cappuccino and my wife got a latte. If you want to go to a place specifically for coffee then I would not recommend this place. DeVille it seems is more for someone looking to eat crepes and have a cup of coffee to go with it, not for an espresso enthusiast looking for quality espresso. If you want good espresso go down the street to either Mojo or District. To be brutally honest, we threw ours away whilst walking and went a block west to District.
Great Crepes!!!
My favorite coffee place ever! Always friendly and great service. Crepes are amazing as well! Thanks guys!
Perfect place with very good price and really tasty coffee!!! Highly recommended!!!
When we were in New Orleans, we visited this place 3 times! The crepes are outstanding. The atmosphere is fantastic. Great coffee and the people are awesome!
If I could give no stars I would. I really had high hopes for this place from all the great reviews, but sadly my experience was not so great. To start, the staff seemed as though they did not want us there and were not that friendly. (i have worked guest service for years so I always try to be the nice easy going guest. I basically ask myself, how would I like to be treated?) I am not saying they are down right rude. But they were not very welcoming or nice either. We ordered two drinks to enjoy there, but they decided to put them to go.(this could be over looked if it was busy, but there were only 2 other people there.) I really hope it was a mistake, but it felt more like they really did not want us there. So with that I was already feeling like we were not welcome. We decided to just leave with our drinks. Onto the lattes.. to be blatantly honest it was horrible. My husband and I are very big on coffee and like to try drinks from all sorts of coffee shops/trucks. we get hits and misses and well this was a major miss. Two sips in and I was done, I had to toss it. My husband my have had one. We just walked to another shop for real coffee and great guest service. From one coffee lover to another, take a walk to one of the many other coffee shops nearby.
I loveeee crepes, delicious 😋!!
Best decaf iced mocha ever! People were so kind and friendly. Great shop on magazine street!
