Service department is a joke, just not a funny 1. 1st on got on Rus Hublers website and printed off an oil change coupon and set up my appointment time. Well they did not accept my coupon that came from their website and then charged me almost $50 for a standard oil change. They wanted to charge me almost $60 to replace an air filter. To make it all even worse I set an appointment time and check the box that Ill be waiting and it took them 2hrs to change my oil. What was even the point in setting a time up if they cannot even come close to meeting it. To end my story and still not on a good note unfortunately, after looking at the inspection sheet it shows my tie rod in the red level. Last I remember tie rods are kind of a safety issue if they are bad and for them not to mention that they are so bad that they are in the red I find very unprofessional. Im sure they will not care about me posting this review but I hope those that are considering taking your vehicle here to get serviced does.

We have had a different type of experience for sure lol we wanted a newer SUV before our 4th baby arrives. Stephan was extremely polite and professional. We have hit bump after bump with the 2011 Chevy Tahoe after signing the papers and making down payment! But Stephen and his team has went above and beyond to make it right. At the end of the day, if the issue can’t be resolved mechanically, we still recommend Stephan and his team if you are looking for a car because they really do stand behind what they sell!

I’ve taken one of my cars here a few times as it’s a smaller car and has been greeted by the lovely potholes that the lazy DOT workers never take care of here in Indiana. Every time I’ve taken my car here the service is simply amazing, the work is always done a lot quicker than expected and even when ordering parts it gets done fast, I’m glad to finally be moving out of this town but sadly I wish I could take this place with me it’s truly hard to find honest mechanics who do the job right and don’t rip you off.

Brought my car in for a tsb that applied to my vehicle (2015 Chrysler 200 with the V6). The transmission has shifted rough from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd since I bought it used from carmax a few months ago. Carmax had done everything they could and already reset the TCM to relearn its adaptive strategies and adapt better to my style. It had improved slightly, but still shifted rough at inconsistent times. They said it would take 50 miles or so to relearn. However, it took roughly about a thousand before it began to really sink in. But thats just the prologue to this story. So, I brought my car in to this dealer for an APPOINTMENT I made for 11 am today. I showed up promptly 5 minutes before and checked in. My car was not even pulled in until 11:42 am. Lovely. If I could have spent another 40 minutes doing something, I would have much preferred it to not be in a dealership. They have it in for maybe 10 minutes total, then proceed to tell me that there were no tsbs or recalls available for my vehicle but they had reset the TCM so it could relearn its adaptive strategies and it would cost $55. GREAT. THANKS SO MUCH FOR DOING WORK TO MY VEHICLE THAT I DID NOT APPROVE OR AGREE TO YET. First rule of automotive service: inform the customer of what your recommended fix is for the the stated issue and get their APPROVAL before performing the agreed upon work. Not only that, I now have to spend another THOUSAND miles trying everything I can think of to teach this damn thing how to shift properly. Lovely! I was really looking forward to that. So not only have they taken much longer than expected to fix the vehicle, they spent a whopping 10 minutes verifying the stated complaint and performing the fix. I feel VERY confident that this dealer did EVERYTHING to address my concern (can you hear the sarcasm yet?). So, in summary... this dealership took too long to start working on the vehicle, did not adequately verify the complaint, did not inform the customer of the recommended solution and get customer approval before attempting said repairs, and then promptly charged the customer for something they had not agreed to. As a side note; I am an automotive technician myself. Ive been doing this for many years now. I know whats right and whats wrong and how to treat my customers. This was absolutely the kind of bad dealership experience people complain about. I will never go to this dealership again, even for recall work. I will travel multiple cities over if I have to.

I have been very pleased with every aspect of Russ Hubler Chrysler Dodge Jeep. Russ has treated me like he genuinely is concerned we are satisfied. We have a 2019 Ram and a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Anytime I have been in the dealership since getting my truck if Russ sees me he asked how I like my truck. That is being personal. Mike McIntosh and Eric Bales are top notch. No high pressure sales situation, in fact no pressure at all. Eric and I discussed what I would like and my price range. He actually listened to what I need and what I wanted. Spent almost $1000 to have my truck fixed here and it’s still doing the same thing and throwing the same codes it did when I dropped it off the first time. (It’s been there twice). They have no idea what’s wrong with it because apparently when I drop it off “the problem doesn’t occur. Can’t fix it when there’s nothing wrong with it” but it’s a little suspicious that I can pick it up and the same issues happen less than 5 minutes later.

I misunderstood free oil changes when I bought the car apparently. Never mind the fact we called for 2 weeks to schedule an appointment for the pil change. Then we get hit with labor and taxes on the parts. Nice free oil change. Service department also didnt tell us that we were getting a 98 dollar charge for an update to the system. They just did it. Sales process was great. Servoce after the sale. Just bad.

I took my car for an estimate to repair body work. The staff called and made arrangement for me and my insurance contacted them. When I went to the body shop the staff was helpful. The explained what I needed to do with my insurance for a rental. And made an appointment for me to bring in my car within a week from the time I had the estimate.

Growing up in New Castle, everyone knew Goodwins was the place to go to buy a car! I bought my 2017 Dodge Journey from here in April 17. So we bought a Brand new 200 almost 3 years ago 26,000 miles . My wife takes my kids shopping in Muncie . On her way home the car went into safe mode and said service transmission. Stranded her and my three boys on the side of the road. Our warranty covers getting it back to Goodwins. Then the mechanic calls and says call your insurance cause the car was on fire. But it wasnt a mechanical issue he said the car was parked in fire.... Not sure where you can drive through a fire on high way three.

My wife and I were looking to move out of our SUV into a minivan for our growing family. We had been looking for a while and actually had a couple of vans sold before we could get to the various dealers to test drive. We found a perfect van at a great price online at Goodwins. We went that day to take a look and Jerry helped us out. He was overwhelmed with customers and looked like he had been having a day. With that, he was still awesome to work with and got us in the van with no trouble. Jerry is the only bright spot in this horrible excuse for a dealership. We financed through our own bank because the best Donnie could do was 8% (my bank got us 4%). The bank sent over a voucher as proof of payment and we were told that we could not take the van home until funds were released from our bank. This caused us another two hour round trip to go back three days later to pick up the van. I was upset but kind of understood as we did come in late in the day to purchase.Here is where things fell apart. We made several trips to the BMV to get plates for the van only to be told that the title had not been transferred yet. We waited and waited with no communication from the dealer at all. After three months, I called to talk with Donnie (F&I Manager). He seemed surprised to hear from me and said he would have the title clerk give me a call. I waited a few hours for a response and finally called back to talk with Elizabeth in titling. She informed me that there was a problem with the title that they were still trying to work through. I pressed a little harder and found out that they sold us a van that had a secondary lien and they were trying to get in touch with the previous owner. Needless to say, I was shocked and a little upset. I asked to speak with the Sales Manager, Joe Smith. Mr. Smith was very polite and apologetic in informing me that this was a child support lien from the State of Indiana and the previous owner was a regular customer. They have done this before and moved the lien with no problem. Well, apparently the previous owner got behind on his payments and the State wasnt being so generous. Three weeks after that conversation and multiple unreturned emails and phone calls later, Elizabeth (title clerk) finally called to say that the title was clear and we could go get plates. No apology for putting us in a situation that could have resulted in the van being repoed, nothing. After a few more conversations, they agreed to pay our registration and the late fees but have treated us as if we are inconveniencing them for asking them to make their mistake whole.This was a horrible situation and the dealership as a whole failed to communicate with us throughout the process and have been very rude to my wife as she has spent a great deal of her time trying to get answers. As I type this, she is at the dealership picking up a check for the late fees we have to pay the State for getting our plates three months late. Joe Smith has been nothing but rude this morning to my wife and acts as if we are the ones bothering him. Stay far away from this den of snakes and run your own Carfax report on the car your are planning to buy. Did I forget to mention that I was shown a false report with a clear title?Way too long story short, buyer beware with this dealer.

Searched CarGurus last Monday anad found a Charger SXT AWD that had what I was looking for at Goodwin Bros. Called and spoke to Roger. I said that I wanted to make a deal on this Charger and if we could make a deal, I would come down from my home in Minnesota to pick it up. I was given a good price on my trade in, 2012 Fusion SEL AWD, and the financing was good too. We had a deal! I still had a bad taste in my mouth from a bad experience at Jack Sweeney Dodge in Cincinnati where they sold the Charger we made a deal for me to buy last weekend. I kept looking for something that would keep us from making a deal at Goodwin. It never happened! The experience was awesome! Everything was the way Roger said ti would be when I arrived yesterday. The only surprise was that There were absolutely no surprises! I highly recommend going to Goodwin and making a deal with the extremely friendly and professional staff!
