What an awesome experience with Artisan Guitars. They are open by appointment. When I arrived the guitar I had called about was on a stand by a stool. They told me about the instrument I had come to see then put it in my hands. In perfect tune. The tone was beautiful. They then set it up to my liking (lower bridge saddle, a simple swap out, they had spares) and she was ready to go. A true concierge service and I bought the guitar I wanted for a fair price. Awesome experience, great staff and a beautiful shop.5 Stars only because I cannot give 10. I will be back when next in Nashville.

I give Artisan the highest rating. Products are exhibited truthfully on the videos. The guitar I bought is a joy and I will have many years of pleasure from it. Also, the people with whom I spoke were straightforward, knowledgeable, and friendly. I couldnt ask for a better experience and lucky to have Jesse as my salesperson.

Jessie (Guitar Extraordinaire) is not only an exceptional player-he is one you can trust to get the RIGHT equipment for your taste/ear. Be honest with him, tell him your preferences-he will fit you with the right guitar, amp whatever. I dont consider Jessie a Sales Person. He is a RESOURCE, that you can trust. He IS a player, knows the equipment, knows the music industry and being a pro picker himself, knows the importance of getting you the right stuff the FIRST time. He went out of his way to get me with the right guitar-it was perfect. So when it came to Amp Time, I went straight to him and got a KILLER Fender Deluxe Reverb which I LOVE. Speaking of Guitars, Amps, Gear, Artisan has a KILLER Tech named Steve. First Guitar I bought from Artisan/Jessie, Steve set up . Once Received it went straight to my Luthier -Tech for set up/eval. He handed it back to me and said Its perfect, I cant make it any better. Artisan-you ARE 5 Star!!!Artisan-you have an exceptional team!!! (And I will be back again)

OK, so first off, I live in Connecticut. My new friends at Artisan Guitars are in Nashville.I’ve rarely purchased a guitar that I haven’t played. Anyway, something in the first email I received from Artisan drew me to their website. After a few visits I made contact with Bill. From the first exchangeI felt totally at ease. Over time, communicating with Ellie and Jesse cemented my confidence that I chose the right guitar shop.I decided to sign a consignment deal with them to sell my Martin. Everything, everything involved with this transaction, even the lender they use, was friendly and informative. My guitar sold quickly and i’m loving my new Maton Tommy Emmanuel.Ive purchased a lot of guitars over the last 50 years, and they say “there’s no guitar like your next guitar”.I simply could not be happier and recommend Artsian Guitars more highly. I love this place. The employees were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the different instruments and the makings of each. They were Very dedicated to helping pick the right instruments based on the sound I was looking for and the style of playing I perform. I would definitely suggest anyone looking for an instrument definitely needs to check them out.

Recently purchased a Fender Custom Shop Strat at Artisan. Had a great experience and Jesse was great at helping me along with my purchase as well as guitar nerding with me.

Ordered my Collings C-10 with the help of Bill and his staff. Wonderful people and great treatment -- very knowledgeable. Would not think of buying a Collings (or Huss and Dalton for that matter) from anyone else.

Ive purchased six guitars through Artisan -- including a Huss & Dalton Custom CM that involved quite a bit of three-way communication to help me discover the art of the possible, and to spec the perfect guitar custom built for me. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They were extremely easy to work with, have a great inventory, and will spend as much time as you need them to in order to find the right guitar for you. I just purchased a Santa Cruz guitar that is incredible. Down the line when I want to add to the collection this will be the first store I visit.

One of the finest guitar shops in the country. Having worked for Gibson I really appreciated my experience at this store. Greated by Eric and had a great discussion with the owner Bill. Had a chance to play many of their stock top quality instruments from the best builders in the world. A fabulous store for any guitarist. They take them down off the hooks tune the up they even adjusted the action to my liking so I could get a feel for the guitar. A great shopping experience. Check this place out!

Artisan Guitars is a wonderful guitar store run by people that are knowledgeable, hardworking and caring. They worked with me for over an hour trying to identify a weird guitar model this morning as part of a possible trade-in. They were thorough, transparent and kind during the process. I will also echo the sentiment in someone elses review that they were very generous with their time. Their selection of guitars is excellent and unique. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a great guitar.

Walked in on a whim, Bill was amazingly generous with his time and vast knowledge. Completed the deal a week later and added a great guitar to my collection. If you’re in Franklin, TN (or nearby) this is a must do. You’ll be amazed and feel more welcomed than in any other guitar shop.

Most knowledgable staff (including owner, who gave incredible attention to my specific search) of any guitar shop Ive been (and Ive been to MANY on this hunt for the perfect guitar)! Beyond that, however, is the fine-tuned selection Bill carries. The details of everything in this shop from custom orders to trade-ins are unbelievably fine.

Made a big detour on my road trip to try out a vintage Martin at their shop. Out of four calendar days Ill have been in Nashville, they have not been open for business at all. Show up for work if you expect people to spend thousands of dollars.

Extremely happy with my recent experience with Artisan Guitars. I located a National NRP-B Series guitar on their website and had a trip planned through Tennessee to pick it up. Bill was fantastic to work with over email and allowed me to place a fully non-refundable hold on it. Knowing I was traveling through on vacation, he even provided me with recommended places to visit and eat while in Franklin!I was overly impressed with the shop when I arrived - an absolutely fantastic guitar shop with a very helpful and very friendly staff. Was able to try out the guitar and ended up buying it and have been extremely happy with it.Hats off to Bill and his crew at Artisan. Nice... but they didnt take me seriously when I asked to play a guitar.

I had been looking for a parlor guitar for months. While on a vacation from California we literally stumbled onto Artisan Guitars in Franklin and Eric helped me with trying several guitars from Huss & Dalton, Collins - even a used Batson and Olson in the store. He tuned them, wiped them down after I played so the next potential customer had the same good experience- this is NOT your Guitar Center experience !!Tuned and strung with great sounding strings - all of them. I ended up being surprised by a new Beddel parlor guitar and bought it. Great find by a patient salesman !Highly recommend this store.

Got my Maton808TE. Great guitar! Came on time and in great shape.I must say that dealing with the folks at Artison especially Eric was the best. All were very helpful, informative and probably the nicest guys you could ever deal with. I really believe that their mission in life is to make people happy. I have delt with many music stores and these guys are hands down the best I would not hesitate to do business with them any time. Thanks for the GREAT service.

Didnt end up buying a guitar while here. However, was able to try out a couple acoustics, staff was friendly, helpful, and informative about products. It had gotten semi-busy while there, and one of the staff explained half of the staff was at NAMM (music convention) in nashville and they were still able to get around to everyone

Drove all the way there from Murfreesboro today and you had the sign up by appointment only. it said in your hours public showroom hours. it seems like everyone in the general public is not welcome to shop there. there were other people standing outside looking in the window that wanted to come in the store too when we walked up to the door.

Recently, I flew from Houston to meet my best buddy from high school, who drove in from Northern Kentucky. Our goal was to tour some of the great guitar shops in the Nashville area. In total, we went to 4 or 5 during our 2-day visit. They were all great and had their own unique character. But none matched the personal touch of Artisan Guitars. The co-owner, Bill, and one of the employees, Eric, spent over an hour with us. You could immediately see that they loved guitars and were incredibly knowledgeable. We did not come to Nashville with plans to purchase, but both of us ended up buying guitars; me a Collings OM1 and my friend bought a Huss & Dalton TOM-M. We cannot say enough good things about Artisan Guitars.Follow-up: A couple of weeks after I got back to Houston, I purchased a Huss & Dalton guitar from Artisan Guitars. Bill had it set up the same way as my original Collings purchase. It arrived 2 days after I ordered it and it is a great addition to my collection.
