I had the BEST experience finding my wedding gown here today! They really have the best selection to choose from. I worked with Carol and she was perfect. She listened to me and helped in all the best ways. The owner of the shop came and thanked my mother, grandmother, and I personally for choosing them which was something I really really liked. I even got a little gift for purchasing my gown today. Highly recommend!!

BEST experience ever- truly cannot recommend Glitz enough. Sheila was my consultant- she was so attentive and we tried several different styles to figure out what I liked and felt the best in. She brought me a dress to try (which I wouldn’t have ever picked) and I ended up immediately falling in love. I had other appointments, so she took the time to fill out all of the paperwork if I decided to come back and say yes. I could NOT stop thinking about the dress she picked out for me, so I ended up going back after my other appointments and saying YES. I felt so welcome and valued at Glitz. The experience, service, and quality is so wonderful and I cannooooot wait to wear the most perfect dress!

Being a curvy girl, I was very anxious in starting the wedding dress shopping progress. Glitz was the very first place I went. They were so welcoming, Sheila was my personal consultant, and she was warm and really got to understand my style and personality. The best part for me is that she made my experience very enjoyable and made me feel amazing through the process. Prices are great, selection of styles and sizes is good too! I ended up saying yes to the very first one I tried on.

Glitz was such a great experience! everyone was welcoming, sweet and supportive of my choices and vision. It was not my first shop and I had a dress in mind already, but I must say I was blown out of the water by their options! The consultant I worked with was just the right amount of helpful and honest, I trusted her to steer me in a flattering direction. I am also very tall and was thankful that when I did choose a dress the consultant walked me through the measuring process and choosing a size to order so I felt informed of what I was buying. Im really, really excited for the dress (and veil) to come in!Money wise: My budget was $2000 and I did end up going a smidge over (because my mother told the consultant a different budget but she ultimately ended up purchasing the dress as a gift) but I think if your budget is between 1500-2000 you will have lots of options here from what I tried on and looked at.

When my matron of honor and I were searching for dresses, the sales staff was very attentive. Both of us were measured, so the dresses we picked could be ordered. In both cases, our dresses were ordered in the larger size, so when they came in theyd be easier to alter.. When we picked up dresses, the staff was far less attentive, and both dresses were VERY snug. Reluctantly we paid for our dresses and left. Thats a lot of money to get dresses that are extra small. And find no staff who cared about us at all.. Be careful. We wont ever go back.

I bought my wedding dress here and loved the experience! The dresses are beautiful and the staff was very helpful in pulling options for me to try. I also love that they will steam your dress and veil for you the week before the wedding!

Marissa was so helpful and understanding of the Bride’s needs. She wasn’t trying to sell something to her that she wasn’t crazy about which I have seen at other stores. I loved shopping for my wedding dress at Glitz. I was able to bring my best friend with me and the atmosphere of the store was intimate, special and relaxing. We found the dress pretty easily and luckily the dress we picked was able to ship in time for our short engagement. The staff offered to let us Facetime my mom who lives in another state and this made the moment even more special. The staff are incredibly warm, professional, and positive. I cant say enough good things about Brides by Glitz!

I read google reviews before I came to this shop, but unfortunately I was not impressed with my experience.Postives before negatives - it was easy to make an appointment online, they did have lots of dress options for varying budgets. Turn-around time to receive a dress seemed reasonable. They seem to have dresses to accommodate plus size brides. large showroom. looked like great formal dresses for other occasions too.Negatives: the staff was not as friendly as I hoped, on phone or in person.My consultant didnt acknowledge the presence of my mom and sister - they had to introduce themselves, and she wasnt personable in asking questions related to the wedding - nothing about my fiance, wedding, dresses, etc. In this role I think you have to make a little small talk and act like you are invested and want to help. I was shown where I could find the styles of dresses but none were picked for me with her knowledge of the inventory. The dresses were never clamped appropriately, making it impossible for me to see what the dress may look like had it fit - when I asked her twice to add clamps, she shared she didnt have any left. The lighting in the upstairs is not good - limited natural light, and the mirrors were dirty. The hand mirror they gave me to look at the backs was warped. The dresses were also quite dirty and worn from so many people trying them on. Visible makeup etc.My experience was un-special, not how I wanted to feel when looking for the dress. They did have an expansive selection, so I would go back and ask for someone new to work with in hopes of a better time.

I had such an amazing experience at Brides by Glitz Nashville working with Sheila to find my perfect wedding dress. Before going to this store I had such a hard time finding dresses that had everything I wanted but this store had so many I loved. I was able to find my dream dress and Sheila was so helpful making sure the gown was properly fitted to my body so I could envision what it would look like. You could tell Sheila loves her job and does a great job finding dream dresses.

I met Kylie at my appointment and she was flawless! So fun, energetic and kind. We reviewed my vision and we all pulled some dresses including the one I had called about. I ended up purchasing the gown I had called for, they brought out champagne and a “yes to the dress” sign! It was a perfect experience and so fun to have with Kylie and my Maid of Honor. The atmosphere was inviting, yet classy, just as a bridal studio should be. Shelia was the most lovely, kind, personable, and helpful woman, and she made me feel so special. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had! Ive never truly loved how I look so I was worried about finding a wedding dress, but they were so patient with me and helpful that it turned out to be a very positive experience. 100% the best part of wedding planning so far! They allowed my party and I to come in on a Sunday for a private appointment and it was like being a queen for a day! My consultant and the owner were both very knowledgeable and managed to know what I was thinking before I even did. I said yes to my dress within a few hours and I cant wait to wear it! I can’t say enough good things. I really can’t. This place is beyond amazing, friendly, helpful, not at all pushy, genuine, and caring. When I tell you I tried on probably 30 dresses and they mind or care. They just had so many in the style I was looking for. Tons of options for veils and jewelry to match perfectly. The owner has pulled favors for my mother and I as well going a step above and beyond. Even letting us in after hours so my mom could look at mother of the bride dresses. Please, I know some bridal shops in Nashville are rude and mean and tend to be pushy, this is not one of those places. Go go go go go. It will be worth it. You’ll love it!! Please go! Ps they let me play and twirl around in the dresses to actually get a good feel for them. It was small but made a world of a difference not having to stand still like a prop.

We got everything done in one day. First and only store we went to. My daughter told them exactly what she was looking for and they pulled the perfect dress. She only tried on seven dresses. Also found the veil, earrings, and hairpiece as well. The veil matched perfectly but only came with a blusher which we did not want so they are ordering it and will send it out to get altered for us. Customer service at its finest!

Brides by Glitz has an excellent team and a gorgeous selection of dresses. My bridal consultant was Sheila, and I felt totally safe and able to relax in her hands. We tried on about 9 or 10 dresses, and I felt like some version of princess in almost all of them! Sheila was assisted by Kylie, who was also incredible. I left knowing that I had found my dress, but it was one of two. After sleeping on it, I woke up knowing exactly which dress I wanted, called, and the team was able to slot me in for another appointment that very day, and with Sheila again! I put my dress back on, had that life-changing moment all brides have (and we celebrated with champagne, of course) and almost immediately was presented with accessory options that I had mentioned wanting to try. The Owner Ann Miller was also with us through lots of the try-on process, and Ann and Sheila made us feel so at home there. Since this is the time of Covid, it was just my mom and me, and my bridesmaids could not join. Ann and Sheila filled in for them in a way, and the four of us had a blast! I left having purchased the dress of my DREAMS, a perfect veil (the first I tried -- Sheila knows her stuff!), and a gorgeous headband/headpiece to tie the look all together. I got in the car afterwards and just wept the happiest tears.As many 2020/2021 brides know, the wedding planning process at this time is full of postponements and guest list reductions and “if’s around every corner. Finding and purchasing my perfect dress made everything feel REAL. Because it is! No matter what else has to change, I found my wedding dress. Im so grateful to the team I had. From the minute I walked in the door, I knew I had chosen the right store to find my dream gown. The atmosphere and the dresses were both stunning! I was immediately taken upstairs to meet my bridal consultant, Haley. She was a true gem. She made me feel so comfortable and special! I went to a few different places to try on wedding dresses and after looking here, nothing else compares to this place. Everywhere else I went I found maybe one or two dresses I liked. This was the first bridal place I went because they provided all of the brands that I liked. First impressions, the place was beautiful and easy to find! I booked my appointment for a Sunday which was very relaxing because we had one side of the upstairs to ourselves. There upstairs area was dedicated to brides and their party. The area had so much room to walk around and be able to see the dress at different angles. I want to mention that the lady helping me, Mina, was absolutely amazing. She never forced her opinion on me and was constantly complimenting me. She really was my own personal hype woman! I definitely recommend making an appointment with her. Overall experience was great and I found my perfect gown on my first try. They have an exceptional amount of styles so there is plenty to choose from.

The Brides by Glitz team is awesome. They have a great showroom, and theyre very knowledgeable about all the designers they carry. It was a low-pressure experience which made it much more enjoyable! I bought my wedding dress from them, and the after-purchase interactions have been incredibly prompt and professional. I highly recommend making an appointment with them if youre looking for a wedding dress or bridesmaid gowns.

I had initially booked 3 appointments at various bridal shops on a Saturday to look at dresses with my mom and MOH. One stop at Brides by Glitz and about 10 dresses later, I had found my dream dress! I canceled the other 2 appointments and waited anxiously for my dress to come in. We ordered the weekend after Thanksgiving and they told me it would be about 4-5 months for the dress to arrive, but on Valentines Day, they called to say it was in! The team at Brides by Glitz are all incredibly friendly, not pushy at all and seemed genuinely excited for ME even though they see Brides every day all day. Their new building is absolutely stunning and makes the experience even more fun! I got married on 10/19 and to this day am still in love with my dress. I recently received my pictures back and the dress is gorgeous in photos too! They also have a great deal to have your dress cleaned and preserved after your wedding day. I am beyond excited to wear my dress from Brides by Glitz. The whole experience was so great. They made me feel so special and beautiful.

I loved my experience here at Brides by Glitz. They listened to my worries and my wants in a wedding dress. They allowed me to take my time and try on the dresses I picked out and even my family and friends. I loved the one on one attention that the consultants provided. I felt that she understood my feelings before I even spoke them but also when I was lost for words as well. I do not regret coming to Brides by Glitz for one of my first appointments because I said YES TO THE DRESS!

OMG I LOVE RITA!!!! Rita was my hero and helped me feel so confident and beautiful in the perfect dress. She was incredible!!!! I had the best experience finding my wedding dress for the first time in the first store I went to! The location is so gorgeous and the dresses are to die for!!! They have a huge variety of dresses! They also accommodated my bridesmaids, family, and future mother in law! It was a great experience and the champagne toast at the end was a perfect way to celebrate finding the dress of my dreams! Thank you guys for the best day!!

I set up my appointment and was not knowing what to expect since this was my first ever wedding shopping experience ! I was highly impressed with the staff and their professionalism. I was able to pick out an abundance of dresses that I wanted to try with hundreds, it seemed, left in the store. I was in awe at the dresses and I picked to try. In those dresses, I found my dream dress and I couldnt have been happier. The ladies there all gave us champagne when I said yes and cheered and cried along with us as this most cherished moment was taking place ! There is not enough good things to say about Brides by Glitz! I am so glad this was where I found my dream dress and I could not have picked better people, a better place, or better staff to have done that with !

I found my dress!! This was the fourth place I had been to, all the other places were great as well, but Shelia helped me find the perfect one- and I tried on A LOT- she was patient with me and was kind the whole time. The dress I ended up with was a little over budget, but hey its for my wedding so... lol

I was curious what others were saying when I was treated very rudely today and was not at all surprised to see that the only other experience on here was someone complaining that they were made to feel unwelcome. I also had a very unwelcoming experience. I am engaged, have already purchased my dress, but have been on the lookout for accessories and thought Id take a look. When the woman immediately greeted me at the door I explained my reason for being there and she seemed like she was very put off. She immediately pointed out the sales rack to me, despite me already explaining I had a dress. I guess she assumes Im cheap. Then she said Id have to wash my hands first and then I could look around, ok? The tone was very condescending. I was wearing a mask, and being that I manage a business myself, I am not at all opposed to extra caution during this pandemic. However, the patronizing way she was speaking to me made me immediately choose to leave. Sounds like there are some attitudes that should be removedResponse from owner states “ we kindly ask that all customers wash and sanitize their hands”. Kindly should be the operative word. Again, not opposed to complying. Opposed to condescension and attitude from staff. Writing off a review to excuse away bad behavior of staff is not the way to manage a business.

Great staff, great dresses, and really reasonable prices! I found new dresses that I loved and sale dresses that I loved, and ended up getting a great deal in the sample sale section. Also great for group shopping. Definitely recommend!!! :)

Beautiful gowns but somewhat pricey. But thats just my opinion. Great customer service. Need an appt.

I cannot say enough great things about Brides by Glitz!! From the very first phone conversation I had when calling Glitz, to the consultant I worked with while trying on dresses, and the owner who was very visible during my appointment, I was blown away!!!My experience… The week leading up to my bridal appointments became quite hectic. I had family coming in town from two different states, therefore, I wanted to be sure I made great use of their time. I had scheduled appointments at two different “bridal salons” weeks in advance, knowing appointments fill up quickly. However, the week leading up to those appointments, I learned of Brides by Glitz. After reading the reviews for Glitz, I was completely bummed I didn’t make an appointment with them instead! Knowing my family was in town for a short period of time, I decided to call Glitz hoping they had an opening. Unfortunately, but as expected, they were completely booked. However, the staff member I spoke with, Jillian, told me she would call if there were any changes. I’ll be honest, I had low expectations that I would hear back with an opening, but to my surprise, she called the next day and said she was able to make me an appointment. I was THRILLED!!My first appointment for wedding dress shopping was at another location, where ironically, I thought I “found the dress.” With that said, I still had the appointment with Glitz and knew I wanted to visit there to be sure. My consultant, Rita, was AMAZING! She listened to what I was looking for and pulled amazing dresses for me to try, inevitably, finding the one. After trying on dresses at Glitz, my mom made the comment, “I don’t even remember what the dress from the other location looks like!”Not only did Rita make the entire experience so enjoyable, I felt so special by other staff members. A consultant who was in the showroom went out of her way to comment how pretty she thought I looked in “my” dress and the owner personally brought the champagne toast for us all! The entire showroom celebrated with us and made it an experience I’ll never forget. Needless to say, I’m forever grateful I did, as I “said yes to the dress!”

The staff was warm and friendly from the first initial call to ordering the perfect dress. Glitz has a beautiful selection of dresses to choose from and the ladies helped me find the my dream dress on my first visit. Thank you Glitz!

I had a horrible experience at a different bridal store and I called Glitz to see if they could get me in for an appointment because my mom was visiting from out-of-town and the receptionist was so friendly and said no problem! I walked in and was immediately greeted and whisked upstairs to their beautiful bridal studio. I worked with Psasha and she gave me great advice and answered all my questions thoroughly. This was the first store where I actually got to try on dresses and I found my dress on the second attempt! It shows that the bridal consultants there listen to what you’re looking for if you find your wedding dress so quickly! I can’t wait until my dress comes in...Thank you Glitz!!

For this place to have a 5 star rating they sure didn’t act very professional when they ruined not only my best friends dress experience but it was also her birthday the day we went to pick up the dress at her final fitting. The dress they had for her was unexceptable and to be quite honest the sample dress she first tried on looked better than her so called new one. She was absolutely devastated, ruined her whole experience, ruined her birthday weekend, the only good thing came about the entire situation is they actually gave her a refund. Lisa tried to help, Jillian was rude and got aggravated with us. They still haven’t refunded her for the vail yet. Now here we are 8 months away from the big day and we have no dress and have to start completely over.

Mina was so kind! Super understanding in what I wanted and liked. I unfortunately did not find my dress, but I’m sure that they will receive more dresses soon!

I flew all the way from Denver back to my home state in hope to find the perfect wedding dress with my family. It was my final day of shopping and I was already feeling a bit discouraged and starting to feel the pressure. As we were browsing through dresses I wasnt really finding what I was looking at first but I tried on all the potential dresses. I even surprised myself! Then the moment came, the moment that I knew that I had found THE ONE. Sheila was amazing on giving me tips/suggestions and even added accessories to really fulfill my vision. She even had my mom and sister at ease and very involved unlike the other shops Ive been to the previous days. They were raving about their own experience for hours!! I cancelled the rest of the day and I cant wait until the day finally comes!

This was the second dress shop I went to! They have a large selection of dresses, and the experience was so pleasant and exciting. With the help of my dress consultant, my mom, and friends over FaceTime, I got a dress that wasnt at all what I initially had pinned on Pinterest. I went to some other appointments later that day, but after sleeping on it, I went back to Glitz for the dress I felt the most natural in.They also recommended a place for alterations, and after the wedding, I dropped my dress off to get it cleaned by a company they work with. The price was reasonable and refreshing after being quoted astronomical prices at other dress cleaning locations. I seriously wish I had more reasons to go back to Brides by Glitz because it brings back so many happy memories! Definitely add them to your list of places try on dresses!

Update: Joanne, the General Manager of Glitz, gave me a call today. She was very kind and wanted to get more information. She apologized and truly seemed in awe that I experienced this. She had already scheduled a meeting with Lynn to discuss after reading my review. I truly believe my experience with Lynn did not reflect Glitz Bridal as a whole. Like I said prior, many of the other consultants seemed very sweet and bubbly. I appreciate Ms.Joanne for taking this seriously and addressing it. She truly sounded in awe when I told her my experience which shows this is not typical. Every bride deserves a wonderful experience and I definitely think that is something Brides by Glitz offers.I thought glitz had lots of dress options within an affordable budget which was a plus! However, my bridal consultant made my experience less then grand. The other consultants their were really sweet and seemed to be very attentive to the brides. If I remember correctly, my consultants name was Lynn. Her attitude was just very harsh and unwelcoming. I dont think she did it on purpose, it just wasnt the type of bubbly, kind person you imagine helping you pick out your dress. When I came out in my first dress I said it was pretty but wasnt wow. It was almost like I offended her that I didnt think it was my dress. She basically rolled her eyes looked at me and snarkily commented This isnt a wow dress???????...um no this is a wow dress. (not in an encouraging way but as if she refused to accept my opinion of a dress (not the way it looked on me but the dress itself) if it didnt match with hers. ) My bridal party literally all had their jaws on the floor in shock that she said that with attitude. My maid of honor even stepped up and said I think she meant it was a pretty dress but didnt wow HERSELF not you) Her opinion was very evident throughout the appointment. Regardless, I kept searching for a dress because I really needed to get one ASAP. The final decision came down to two dresses and I was unsure and overwhelmed. I wanted to step away from the dresses and go get lunch and think about it, then come back and make my decision. She was very pushy on me getting a dress THAT DAY. So of course this made her nervous. Me and my bridal party had plans to eat at the Hampton Social for lunch. We were really excited about it and had these plans for a while. When I told her where we were going she freaked out and so no. you need to go to somewhere on charlotte so you are close here. (Once again harshly putting her opinion on my mine). I nicely replied that we had made our decision and there was still three hours until the shop closed also keeping in mind that this shop will have these dresses regardless if I bought one today and I could come back another day. She STILL pushed her opinion on mine and said no you can go to ML rose, taco mamacita, etc). OH, and during my appt, I tried on a beautiful dress which was apart of a line they had at the shop temporarily from a nonprofit bridal dress organization donating to abused women. There was a rep there to explain their cause and give back to the community. When I had tried on the dress, Lynn noticed something under the SAMPLE dress (this is not the dress that goes home with a bride), i think it was a mark maybe. She called the sweet volunteer who does not design the dresses or provide them, she just educated on the cause, and pulled up the bottom of the dress and scolded her for the mark and told her that it was unacceptable and they were picky on their dresses. It put me in a super uncomfortable position and I felt so bad for the sweet lady. In summary, if you are looking for a bubbly sweet bridal consultant, its not lynn. I was really debating on posting a review but I wanted to make sure that other brides didnt have this experience by requesting a better consultant. Maybe request someone different and your experience will be much better. :)

The ladies of Brides by Glitz Nashville are pure style and class! Such a fun team to work with for a special day.

Found the perfect dress, and had an amazing time with my family and friends doing it!

Best bridal store nationwide if you ask me. Do not buy a dress until you have checked out the selection and experience at this location.
