My mom and I had a wonderful experience at Eleven Bridal this weekend. Our stop at Eleven was the third bridal shop wed visited in 3 states in 3 days. I didnt find any at the other shops that I loved, but I had 3 in the yes pile at Eleven. We narrowed it down at I said yes to the dress. Taneka really listened to me and after trying on probably a dozen dresses, we found the perfect one complete with a veil, head piece and belt. I cant wait for it to arrive!

Truly an AMAZING experience as a plus size bride. Taneka has a beautiful assortment of gowns in various styles and colors. I went to three other studios during my shopping adventure, and none made me feel as welcome, or had as many options for me, as Eleven. Taneka takes the time to listen to exactly what you want, and is willing to think outside of the box if you’re wanting something with a little extra flair. Being that I was a curvy bride, trying on dresses at the stores I went to before Eleven Bridal was disappointing. I saw dresses I loved but wasnt able to try on to see how it fit my body. Sure, I was told I could buy and order a $1500 dress in my size without trying it on, but I would have felt crazy committing to a dress I thought might look good on me without seeing it on. I went to try on dresses after being very discouraged at one of the mainstream bridal stores. The personal touch and time devoted to me while shopping was the most incredible experience. I found the perfect dress and am so thankful this dress shop exist to help ease the worries that come with finding a dress to fit my body type. Eleven Bridal was the first place I shopped for wedding dresses and I was very nervous to go shopping as a curvy bride. But Taneka is incredible at what she does and made me feel incredibly beautiful and comfortable throughout my whole appointment. I absolutely loved my experience at Eleven Bridal! I am a mid-size gal and really wanted to feel like my best self on my wedding day. I didnt care about design, just wanted to feel good in my skin. I told Taneka I wanted a dress that would flatter my body type and every dress she pulled was amazing! All of the dresses made me feel beautiful and confident. It came down to 2 dresses and I never once felt pressure from Taneka to make a decision when I wasnt ready to. I came back a month later, tried on both dresses and made my decision. Eleven was the 2nd bridal shop I visited and I wish it had been the first. I had tried another popular store in town and felt like I was in a meat market. None of the dresses fit, and I really couldnt get a good idea of what they would look like on me. When I stepped into Eleven, I was the only one there. Taneka worked to ensure that every dress I put on fit me and I could see how they would look. No matter what dress I put on, I felt beautiful, and when I found the dress. It was magical. I cannot adequately express how wonderful my experience was at Eleven Curvy Bridal and with Mrs. Taneka. As a curvy bride who is very self-conscious and had always approached the wedding gown shopping experience with some fear of feeling uncomfortable, Mrs. Taneka made me feel so at ease and beautiful and comfortable, resulting in my finding a dress that makes me feel better about myself than I ever have before. She is very knowledgeable and patient and generous with her time and energy and very responsive and communicative and accessible. 5 stars simply isn’t enough. I picked the salon largely based on reviews, so I hope this review helps other brides considering salons. This place is definitely worth the stop and hopefully the place where you say yes like I did!

After 2 unsuccessful bridal shop visits, I came across Eleven Bridal and I am SO glad I did!! Taneka and Dana were absolutely wonderful. Even in the midst of Covid, we had a blast trying on some beautiful gowns and found THE ONE. I am a plus size bride who was a bit insecure and overwhelmed at the thought of myself in a bridal gown... I dont wear white in my regular clothes for fear of showing my size. This was an amazing experience! Beautiful shop, personalized and private experience. I almost found my dress but then realized it was too similar to another dress. But that was no fault of Taneka’s! I’m still on the search for my dress, but I would absolutely go back to Eleven Bridal to purchase because they are so phenomenal.

Taneka is the best!! Her gowns are beautiful and she has a great eye. My daughter picked the first gown she gave her to try own!! She asked her questions about herself and looked at her curves and picked the most beautiful dress for her. I can’t be more pleased with her service knowledge and the setting!! I can not recommend Eleven Bridal enough!! I had an appointment just yesterday and I am still on cloud nine that I found my dream dress. Dana and Taneka went above and beyond to make me feel beautiful in everything that I put on. I honestly do not know if I have ever met two nicer or more genuine people than those two beautiful women. They listened and asked questions to know exactly what I was envisioning for my special day. When I say I loved every single dress I put on, I’m not even lying!! I LOVED every single dress!! They picked so many gorgeous dresses that it was hard to pick just one favorite. Not only did they make my experience one I will never forget, they also made my mom and sister (MOH) feel so welcome and excited during the entire try-on process. Taneka is absolutely amazing and made me feel so comfortable during my appointment. She was supportive and very knowledgeable. While I did not leave with a dress, my fiancé has not gone more than 30 minutes since we left without me talking about how amazing the experience was and how much I love a certain dress. If you are a plus size bride, Eleven is a must do to find your perfect dress.

The owner is a sweetheart. She is so professional and bubbly. Shopping at Eleven was the Bridal shopping experience I had always imagined! Taneka is the best. So kind, patient and welcoming. The shop and dresses are gorgeous and priced affordably. I was on a time crunch due to postponing shopping the last few months but Taneka found several options that fit my budget and ordering limitations. Nashville is lucky to have this bridal boutique but I would say if you’re a curvy girl in the Southeast it’s worth making a special trip!

Obviously you know I love this place so instead of telling you how wonderful of a time I had, let me tell you some major wins this place has:- Knowledge and thoughtfulness of allllllll body types— you are not handed a dress designed for a different body type but carried in your size. It’s like she strategically chose to carry certain gowns keeping ALL different body types in mind- So 👏Many 👏 Choices 👏— similar to the above, there are so many flattering gowns, you don’t have to pick what fits— you have the freedom to pick between styles and vibes (romantic vs classic vs boho). Good luck making a decision bc there are some fabulous dresses.All of this is on top of an awesome ambiance— and professionalism balanced with that shopping with your friend realness.Do yourself a favor and make an appointment.

Taneka is amazing! I just recently bought my dress from her and it was a wonderful experience (and a beautiful dress)! Since it’s appointment only, you are the only one in the shop which provides a unique, individualized experience. I was torn between a dress at this shop and a dress at another shop, but I chose this one because the dress was beautiful but I also had such a great experience. Curvy brides, go here first! 🥰

First off I just have to say! TANEKA IS AMAZZINNNGGGGG! She is meant for this! I came in the first time and really had a vision with no examples of what I wanted lol. She literally put my vision into life... and while making me feel 100000% comfortable. Her store is beautiful, and her spirit is just has beautiful if not more. I could not have wished for a better experience shopping for my wedding dress. Taneka made the whole appointment about me, but did not fail to include my mom, maid of honor, and aunt in the appointment. She helped me pick out my dream dress, and made me feel so comfortable in my own skin (very hard to do!). When I showed up to get my gown today, the first thing she did was give me a big hug.
