If you are looking for a wedding dress, look no further than Village Bridal! This was my first stop and I ended up coming back the same day to buy my dress. Lydia was extremely helpful, patient, and was solely focused on me and my needs. I didn’t feel like “just another bride.” They are fantastic! There is a reason this shop has been in business for as long as they have.

OMG... Lidia and Margaret are AMAZING!!!! From the first time I walked through the door, I was greeted with pure love and I’m not exaggerating. My friend and I felt welcomed and at home the whole entire time, and I didn’t feel rushed at all. In fact Lidia stayed later on my second visit to support me with my final decision on a dress, and I said yes to the dress!! Margaret is outstanding! My mom, maid of honor, and I had the best dress shopping experience with her at Village Bridal. Id done my research ahead of time, but Margaret was so helpful and intuitive that I feel like I couldve walked in knowing nothing and still come out with the dress of my dreams. She was fun, easy to get to know, and super helpful in guiding us to a final decision. I absolutely love my dress, and I cant wait to get married in it. Definitely go to Village Bridal for a fantastic, stress-free experience!

UPDATE: So I got a phone call shortly after this review about how happy they were to find out they could get my dress here on time (which was still way later then originally told us) never once mentioning any additional charge that would come from this, because i would never agree to “rush” a dress that we were told would be here way before I needed it. When I go to pickup the dress and on my way out the owner wanted to sit and talk for 20 minutes about taking the below review down saying it wasn’t fair and at the time I still have it 3 stars, what about what’s fair to the customers? After being lied to saying they tried calling me and I didn’t have voicemail options (had the same voicemail set up since I was 16 I’m almost 21 now). So the last version of the story they gave me was another girl had ordered the same dress and they just assumed mine would come in a similar time. (mind you they never said the dates given originally were an estimate they said it would come in never it “might”) I honestly was so over, so the same dress that should’ve been here in February came in May and we paid an additional $150 for it being lateSo if you want to deal with a bunch of lies and headache then here’s the shopI ordered my dress a while back after my sister in law got hers from here. The service was fine in the beginning, but her dress was almost two months late I’m pretty sure, and the lady really pushed me to order a different size then what me and my mom thought might be best, and I called to ask when my dress was supposed to be in last Wednesday and someone took my name and number and said they call me the next day to tell me when it was coming in which seemed a little odd to me, but I figured they were just busy and the next day I never got a call. And the day after that and the day after that to the point where it’s almost been a week and I’m starting to feel like I should’ve gone elsewhere to order a dress. And I’m so over the Covid excuses for shipping anything, even the covid holidays had everything shipped to my house in the estimated shipping dates so non seasonal covid really shouldn’t push it back past a day or two in my opinion. I’m just getting very frustrated which is so upsetting because I was so happy with it in the beginning. Since hers was two months late, mine cannot be that late because I will not be able to get alterations done in time for it to be ready by the wedding. The fact that I haven’t gotten a phone call or email or anything after asking what’s the status is just beginning to really concern me.

Lydia and Margret were both great. Lydia helped my mom and I the first time we stopped in the shop (we got lucky and she was able to accommodate us right away even though we had not made an appointment in advance). We had a great experience, which was positive and low-pressure. She let me try on as many dresses as I wanted and I found 3 gorgeous gowns in my price range, one of which I feel in love with and came back with my maid of honor two weeks later to purchase!

We went to Village Bridal looking for a dress for my daughters wedding. The quality of service we received was fabulous! The dresses were well taken care of, very clean, and easy to see. Each gown had a picture and a price clearly marked, which was unique to this store. Even though we did not find my daughters dress today, we had a great experience.

I had such a positive experience at Village Bridal, Natasha and Margaret and their team were amazing to work with! Natasha was professional, so polite and kind and really knows what she is doing. Her system of helping you decide which dress is your favorite was SO helpful. Their prices are great and they had a wide selection of beautiful gowns on sale at the time I went! They were willing to work with me and the owner Margaret was so kind and made me feel like a queen in the dress I had on! When I needed to come back the next week for a second opinion, they were very accommodating, encouraging and did not pressure me one way or another. I truly felt cared for as a bride and genuinely celebrated. I cannot recommend Village Bridal enough!!!

The store had a big spacious space with lots of seating options for my party of 8. The 2 ladies who helped were kind and attentive to my concerns. We walked through together to get an idea of what I like and a few starting dresses, and then they pulled some more dresses in response to my feedback for the dress.I did not end up purchasing a dress at this store and instead went with another dress, but I would highly recommend visiting this store while looking for your wedding dress. The ladies were very encouraging and helpful, and will take good care of you.

She is the absolute sweetest and most genuine person I experienced in all my wedding dress shopping. Shes literally been doing this so long you could tell it was second nature to her and she knew exactly my style from showing her one picture I liked.There was absolutely zero pressure to buy anything from her and she had one of the best and wide varieties of any dress store I visited. When I called back to say I wanted to buy my dress, she processed my order and sounded honestly so excited for me that I had found my perfect dress.I was in a time crunch and Im not a super high strung bride. I did the fittings at other stores where they gave me champagne and all my girls came. The stress and pressure and all these peoples opinions with styles different than mine didnt work great for me. So I actually went here along and booked the appointment the night before. It took an hour and I tried on like 15/20 dresses. Amazing!

Marguerite went above and beyond for my cousin on Labor Day. She opened shop to accommodate my cousin flying in from TX on a holiday and gave devoted and quality assistance to the Bride-to-Be that was genuine and obviously the work of a professional. I wish Id known of her shop when I got married, because she would be the first Id call when looking for the dress of my dreams!

This was about the fifth place Ive been,but by far the most pleasant experience. I am just starting, only browsing, but the owner was so nice to me. I will be back!

This place has a fantastic selection. The sales lady Lila was so kind and patient and also extremely nice and helped me work in my budget. I found my dream dress for the perfect price! They were so courteous and had plenty of room for my bridal party to relax and participate!

Margaret, the owner, is wonderful and Village Bridal is the beautiful experience you dream of having. She was patient, fun, helpful, and not hovering at all. I had a limited time in Nashville to find the perfect dress. I came on a Saturday and left without a dress but with one in mind to think about over night. Sunday I came back in to purchase the dress, but Margaret used her expertise and picked out THE dress. It was more beautiful than I imagined and I immediately fell in love. Her staff did a perfect job on hemming my intricate lace dress and everything fit like a glove.Margaret is talented in bridal wear and her keen listening skills are what make your experience everything you wanted. I could not have had a better experience. Love her and her shop. Perfection!

I had a very limited budget for my dress, and when my maid of honor called to make an appointment she asked if there were any gowns within my price range. She was told that there were 20-30 gowns within this range-so we made an appointment. Upon arrival, we were shown a rack of 6 makeup stained dresses (not gowns) within my price range but was told I “should try on anything I wanted to see if I like it.” It felt as if they were just trying to get me into a dress and convince me to go above my limit. The woman there was very nice, however she was finishing a sale and said she would be with us shortly (remember, we had an appointment and she was expecting us). When the other party left, she didn’t come to assist at all. I know that my budget was small, but they made me feel like I didn’t matter because of it.

I wholeheartedly recommend Village Bridal to any bride-to-be looking for the perfect dress. I am a Nashville native (born and raised), so I knew about all of the spots to search for dresses in the area. I honestly did not think Id end up purchasing my dress from Village, but Im so glad that I happened to take a look around their store. I found a dress and veil that I fell in love with, and although I did not purchase them on my first visit, the owner did not pressure me into making a quick decision. Once I did purchase the dress and veil, I was contacted the very day it arrived (it takes several months, between production and shipping), and I was able to make an appointment for my first fitting almost immediately. Julia, who handles the alterations for Village Bridal, was wonderful and very patient with me. My dress (mermaid-style) had to be altered considerably in order to fit perfectly, and while Ill admit that I was nervous about having to cut the lace in order to shorten the dress, by the time I viewed the finished product, you could not tell that it had been touched. I was overwhelmingly pleased with how my dress turned out, and I cannot give enough thanks to the entire staff at Village. It was truly a wonderful experience. My advice to other brides is to take your time selecting a dress, and once you do, be patient through the alterations phase. I had 3 or 4 different fittings, but in the end, the time we spent was well worth it...my dress was perfect!

Oh my word! The shop owner was so sweet and helpful. She spent a lot of time making sure I felt comfortable with matching my dress to the perfect veil. Quality of product was supberb and not found elsewhere. They are good at what they do Super welcoming of my bridesmaid and mom too as we took our time trying dresses on and asking tons of questions. Truely a special and fun experience.

Janis was amazing! We spent 2.5 hours there and she was patient the whole time! She was so attentive to my likes and dislikes, and picked more dresses based on my comments. I came in wanting one style and she helped me realize that I actually wanted something totally different. I would never have discovered that if she hadn’t helped me think outside the box. I would highly recommend Village Bridal! They really make you feel special!

I initially had a great experience buying my dress at Village Bridal. I was in love with my dress and the owner was so nice! That all changed when the dress came in an alterations began. The dress was way too short for my torso and my breasts would come up out of my dress every time I raised my arms. They never measured my torso when purchasing the dress, and turns out I either needed a different size or a different dress entirely as this DID NOT FIT my body type. The seamstress was pushy and not helpful. She did not have any suggestions as to how to fix the dress other than just not to raise my arms all night. SEVERAL alterations appointments later and 1 week before my wedding I decided to take my dress to another seamstress and pay a rush order (as much as the original dress cost) to get my dress fixed! The seamstress at Village Bridal had done alterations incorrectly as well- I had already paid her to take the dress in, but the new seamstress had to take the dress in an additional inch and a half!!!!!! She also had to further hem the dress which I had already paid the Village Bridal seamstress to do. Those are pretty basic alterations if you ask me. Do not trust the seamstress at Village Bridal!!!! Ended up costing me a lot of stress, time, and money!

I had Julia (seamstress at Village Bridal) do alterations on my Wedding dress this summer. The dress was a size 18 and I had to have it altered down to a size 8. She did an outstanding job with my dress! She was very professional and friendly. Although she was very busy, she kept on task and was organized. My dress was strapless and my dress was so heavy it kept pulling down, showing too much cleavage. I was upset because this was the dress of my dreams. Julia calmed me down and suggested adding halter straps. It was a perfect solution and the dress turned out even more beautiful than I ever imagined!! I recommend this bridal shop for any bride! The ladies at this shop are amazingly cordial. I recently visited for my wedding dress alteration. I was late to my appointment for reasons out of my control. The stayed open just to see me and made me feel wonderful about how my wedding dress would fit. I highly recommend them!!

Great experience at Village Bridal! The owner was immensely helpful. I had emailed her for an appointment quite late in the day not expecting a response until the next day, and I got a call from her that night! Once I was there we went through every single wedding dress she had in the store in my budget to see which ones I wanted to try on. In all, I probably tried on 20-25 dresses!! The selection of beautiful dresses was incredible, particularly her selection of Pronovias dresses. I went to the appointment alone because my family lives out of state, and she was so supportive and helpful. I would recommend any bride make any appointment with her, she was awesome and so was her shop!

I still hear comments from different people about how classy we all looked on my wedding day! Some relatives of Brett even said that ours was the most elegant and classy wedding they have ever attended! Everyone at this place was very professional, double checked checked my measurements and sizes before we ordered, and made length changes as we needed them without any issues. My bridesmaids looked gorgeous too in their French Tiffany chiffon floor length dresses in midnight blue. Everyone was in awe how beautiful they all looked. We had a lovely visit here with Margaret. My sister was shopping for wedding dresses and we made an appointment and she was so easy to work with. She was very fast - my sister luckily was super decisive so as soon as she wavered Margaret would say, You dont love? You take off. Not your dress. We eventually found one she did love but didnt end up buying it as we found another at a different shop that she loved more. So I cant speak to the ordering or alterations but the initial appointment was wonderful.

Great experience picking out a wedding dress for my friend!

Im in a wedding in which the bride was ripped off by the owner of this place. She sold her a dirty sample wedding dress under the guise of a sale, overcharged the girl by $600 for what turned out to be a bridesmaid dress, and refused to remedy the situation when she was called out about it. Poor business ethics, well all be spreading the word, and are at the age where we have a LOT of friends getting married. Good luck.

I had a wonderful experience at Romantic Creations and then came to Village Bridal and had a terrible experience. First, there wasnt any place to park and when we asked where to park the lady in extremely broken English told us she didnt know where to park. The store smelled and the dresses had stains all over them. I asked my sister to come in the dressing room with me and the lady wouldnt let her and told me it was her job to help me get into the dress and then proceeded to not help me at all. The dresses were tacky and discolored. I wouldnt recommend for anyone to waste their time at this place.
