I came to Auto Zone because my vehicle needed coolant and I am not going for service within the next two weeks.The young man, I believe his name is Louis was extremely helpful. He was helping another customer I stopped briefly to help me.Easily accessible, friendly staff located in Nanuet plaza near Five Guys.
First off I’d like to Thank Justin and Omar for there help on Halloween night. After the terrible experience I had at another Auto Zone location in SPRING VALLEY NY earlier that night which lead my family and I to the Nanuet location .The workers at this Nanuet location greeted us, assisted us with our car needs and without hesitation and helped us with our purchase decision and best of all had no problem installing our new car battery at the time of night we arrived. Which was the ultimate issue at the other location. A cashier at the SPRING VALLEY LOCATION turned us down and said that they DO NOT INSTALL BATTERIES AT NIGHT BECAUSE IT WAS THERE POLICY🤔MOVING FORWARD…the workers in The Nanuet Store showed, professionalism, kindness and great work ethics. They were friendly and shared a few laughs with my husband and son. Thank you so much for taking the time to help us the way you did. I recommend this store to anyone who is looking for excellent customer service. Thanks again guys!!!🙏🏼

I come here when I need a new headlight bulb and I know exactly which one I need. I went to pay and the cashier seemed nice but started adding extra things to my total like grease which was a nice gesture but when I told him I didnt need it he put his hand up to me basically saying let him continue. I told him I didnt need it and he added two complete fuel treatment bottles and I told him no again this time annoyed and he then tried to add paper towels. I then again with a kind voice said sir I really dont need any of these, I have some of this in my car. I just wnat the bulb he gave me an attitude took everything off and ripped the part of the bottom of the recipet with his name and survey questions and threw it out. I know how my car works and Ive fixed it myself. He assumed I didnt know even after I told him no. I assumed it was just a kind gesture with the grease but he didnt even ask, he almost had me pay double of the amount I came in the get. I have to say, its a first Ive experienced it here. I have friends who work there and theyre pretty nice, if I see him again I will be asking his name.
Had a great experience on Saturday with Trevor, he was very accommodating and was willing to help with my headlight, thank you so much for taking the time to do it. Will definitely be going back.
Generally, my experience with this location is 5⭐s but twice in one month I left disappointed, dont know if its the new crew, who seems to need more training or what. But I left and went to the Auto Zone in spring valley where I got all the parts help and information I need.
Horrible service, i literally Will never come to this location i left To go to a further store . The gentleman whose name was Estoy it Im correct had no enthusiasm was very disrespectful and kept drinking his drink while making slurping noises. He told me he thinks he had a battery and i had To ask him to check if they had it. Disgusting . I didnt Care that i had To go to advance auto parts to pay more because the service there was better .

Got disrespected. Person behind the counter accused me of cutting the line. I was clearly instructed by an employee if I am paying by card come to this counter. A customer walked out angry because he wasn’t called. Later another employee walks up to the counter and tells me I cannot cut the line (I didn’t, your guy instructed me to). Employees here are untrained and unprofessional. Never ever going here again.
This is a good store and the staff is really good. The issue is that depending on the day and time, there sometimes arent enough workers to help if you are looking for something specific. I have found that week days are better than nights.
Negative stars if was possible. Employee broke my wiper blade, then instead of offering to fix it, immediately got aggressive and threatening me in front of other customers. Sad way to do business.

Cant say they were exited to help. But what I can say is that when they did help they gave good recommendation and I was able to save some money.
I had a great experience with your technician, Joseph P. He was knowledgeable and was able to determine that my problem was a battery. He ruled out an alternator issue by removing the positive terminal from the battery after the car was running. He is a credit to AutoZone and I will be back because of him!!! BTW, he was juggling other customers at the same time!!! Fantastic employee!
I needed a battery for my van and Joseph helped me. He was patient, knowledgeable, and kind. He tested my old battery and installed the new one. He made a stressful experience an easy one. When I go back to the store, I will definitely ask for him to help me.
What I didnt like is that you could spend a $100 in that store and then they have to charge you $2 for a paper bag. Merry Christmas
Joseph was fantastic. He helped me throughout the buying of the lightbulbs for my car and even came out on a rainy day to install them for me. It is impressive to see such amazing service for even small purchases you buy at AutoZone.

The manager, she was so great all of the employees were so helpful. I had a warranty on my battery and they made sure I received my new battery and that it was installed properly.
I had an issue with the battery in my daughters car. Daryl did a check for us and recommended a new battery is needed. Daryl removed the old battery and replaced it with a new one at the location. He was very calm and cool, took care of it in a timely fashion. Daughter drove off very happy. Thank you so much!
I came by here today because for the second time now I have blown out a bulb in my headlight and I needed a replacement. What I came to learn thanks to Mike and his expertise is that as a result of my improper installation of my first replacement bulb I myself shortened the lifespan of the part dramatically and so naturally I needed a change. Mike showed me all the different options available for my car and even showed me some cheaper options which was exactly what I needed. Don’t ever hesitate to come around here and ask for Mike.
I bought a tail light bulb for my 2013 hyundai elantra. i had the slaesperson look up the bulb. He sold me the wrong bulb. This was very frustrating

Where do I start with this location. Well it seems that the employees are engaged in things other then their jobs. If you need help this is not the place to get it. Terrible customer service. When a customer goes to pay you spend endless time on line while they talk amongst themselves. There is also a female that works there that acts as if you’re bothering her when you ask her a question. The manager at this location needs to revamp his team because for the most part most are not attentive to customer needs. As a loyal customer of autozone I can sincerely say that I will be going elsewhere to another chain. Today was the last time I go to this store I was on the line forever while employee stood aimlessly. I decided not to complete my purchase and did leave.

Why is it that every time I go in the day time its more people working sounds like a Latin club and i get horrible service but when i go at night after 6 i get the best service and theres only two people workingsorry not this location the spring valley store is what im talking about
They had the parts we needed for power steering howe replacement on a 2000 jeep cherokee sport in stock which was wonderful. Didnt have to wait for amazon 2 day shipping. The downside was that the store is primarily staffed by younger kids who dont know the first thing about cars. I watched a kid replacing the batter in a customers car and they had no idea what they were doing other than following the prompts on their battery tester machine. Too bad.
This AutoZone has free parking. The staff is friendly and very very helpful. Not only will they help you find things in the store but if you have simple issues such as changing the windshield wiper blade or looking or listening for a sound they will come out to your car and you listen and an honest opinion. And they often have great specials.

Honestly, Im very conflicted about this place. There were rare times, that I got friendly and helpful service and other times, when the associates ignore your existence and dont even attempt to help you, even when you directly go to them and ask for help. I hope that they improve their customer service because, it is convenient location for me and they have some good car products that different price ranges from overpriced to very cheap for your needs. Unfortunately, i never had a consistent customer service from them; there are even times when associates were not knowledgeable about their products and stated they had products in stock when they were out of stock and than when I wasted a trip there; they tried to blame me for their mistake. I tend to avoid this place like the plague, unless Im in urgent need of a item that I cant find cheaper esle where. I only recommend this place as a last resort when you can only get your item, at this location and cant find a cheaper or better item at your local car shop.
I love AutoZone I wish they had had Royal purple Max ATF, when I need the stuff I need to go to advance Auto parts but besides of that I like AutoZone

There a person called Franco who works in commercial does not know how to treat customers, you call hang up the phone they speak badly to you as if they were giving away what you buy. They need people who treat customers well.
The whole staff needs to be retrained on how to be courteous kind human beings that dont look and sound absolutely miserable every God damn day...maybe its not their fault and maybe it has something to do with the management staff or lack there of. This is not specific to this exact location, its an AutoZone epidemic. Seems like its the executive staffs doing. District and regional managers step your game up and infuse some company moral back into your foot soldiers. Automotive parts stores are going to be the few brick and mortars that need to stay around so you better make it a good experience for everyone or you will be replaced in the cycle of mom and pops eaten up by chains, chains shuttered and replaced by mom and pops...

Poor serviceI had to wait almost one hour for my battery to be changed, they gave me the wrong battery the first time. I ended up leaving without a battery because of the poor management and customer service. I ended up finding a battery at (Batteries plus bulbs ) in Paramus, they were cheaper and the service was far better.

Crowded and slightly disorganized. Two of the employees couldnt help me out with oil change accessories so I bought the wrong items and had to make a second trip. Longer lines the 2nd time. Feel like the staff could be better trained and have a better sense of urgency. In the end I did get what I needed, just took really long and was not a good experience. They do have a large variety of car parts and fluids.
Its a very good place but I havent been there in a while
I shop here regularly and usually find the stuff I need myself...but if is a part located in their back stockarea, they usually have the part I need in stock without needing to order....Waiting time on line does vary depending on how much help is on duty.....usually seems to be one or two people that can ring....with a couple others that pull and fill stock.....I find it satisfactory for my needs.
They helped me find a 77 poly v serpentine belt to bypass my power steering pump how neat is that (thats pretty neat)

I never write reviews, but I had simple questions and the lady who worked there had a bad attitude and didn’t want to help me at all. Not going back to the Nanuet location.
Horrible customer service and incompetent staff, I purchased brakes from here last week and came back for a core return I was handed a voucher paper, I asked if I had to do anything else and if the money would be returned electronically through my card. The staff assured me this was the case. Its been a week now and there is no money in my account. I then went back today which is my only day off only to be told the store manager was on lunch and they couldnt do anything for me or even tell me when she was getting back. I just wasted another hour of my time and gas money driving up here. This is arguably the worst customer service I have ever experienced and now Ill have to come back for a fourth time just to get a refund that should have been done properly the first time. This store has lost any future business from me do yourself a favor and go to any other autoparts store in the area.

I am not sure if they are false testing batteries. But the way the manager act is extremely concerning. He treats people of color differently than Caucasians. I observed this multiple times while I was at the store. The funny thing is, the guy who is discriminating is actually a Jamaican. So it doesnt make any sense at all.But anytime hes dealing with a white person, he is always so nice and yes sir, have a great day sir .But when hes dealing with a brown person or a Hispanic person, he changes his attitude. He becomes all of a sudden impatient and unkind.

Guy behind the counter was incredibly incompetent. Tried to tell me my Duralast Gold Battery that died had a 90 day warranty that was expired. These batteries have a 3 year warranty. I seriously felt like I was in the movie idiocracy. He was not helpful nor knowledgeable.There was also only one guy at the counter even though there was a long line of people waiting to be helped. Staff was back behind the counter sorting things and back in he aisles putting things out. Someone asked if anyone else could help them and the guy behind the counter said no. All around a terrible experience.End result was I learned that my battery that was bought 3 years and 1 month ago is now only worth $45 per their crooked warranty policy. 3 year replacement becomes prorated to 40% of the battery cost the day after 3 years. I was hoping a manager could help me out but the guy behind he counter couldn’t be bothered call one. This is my last duralast battery and the last time I set foot in this store.

Standard AutoZone but more busy than otherAutoZones Ive been too. Employees are hit and miss. One girl working there was great and helped check my engine light and electrical system. Other employees are sluggish and uninterested in life.
2 major problems here- majority of staff on the inept side.- waits are often exaggerated because last pointJust today I took a working and non working alternator in for bench test, both failed.i wonder how many extra alternator and battery sales management generates from false testing...I advice going to the Advanced Autopart stores not too far away.the one in tappan has a helpful staff low foot traffic and Ive never had to wait.the only reason i gave an extra star was for the pretty good job they have keeping up with their lifetime warranties.

Do not know what they are talking about. Showed them my code. They gave me an 02 sensor. I thought it was the wrong one but I figured they knew what they were talking about. Replaced it. Turns out its a different sensor. 175 dollar part I cant rerurn
