Tonight we’ll after 6:00 pm, I pulled into Mavis with a nail on my tire, they were closed and trying to get the last 2 customers out of the door. The manager offered to put air in my tire, after he put air in my tire he went on to check all of my tires he told me to stay put and went back into the shop and came out and told me they were going to FIX my tire! Thank goodness for both of those gentlemen, I was able to drive out of Mavis knowing my tire was fixed!!!! long after they were closed !!! Thank You MAVIS, for terrific employees that went above and beyond!

As a woman . Getting repairs on your can be a little stressful . (at least for me) .There’s an an associate named Eric that works at the front desk that came out and assessed my brakes and rotors. He explained the prices and the charges very clearly and gave me an accurate time estimate and price estimate. He made the whole process very smooth . He’s very knowledgeable and super nice . Brought my truck in for wheel alignment and it was worst than how I had it initially. The truck bear right off the highway if you let go of the steering wheel. I had to call and complain and they did a 2nd wheel alignment and the steering wheel is still crooked. Now they told me my wheels need rotating because the tires are bent. They did not only mess the studs and lug nuts up but they put all 4 rim center spacers on the back hubs breaking the studs, nuts and the spaces.

I had such a great experience with Mavis, This was my first time going to Mavis Discount Tires. I was headed back to Massachusetts from Hershey Park and my tire blew on the freeway . Mavis was six minutes away and I needed a new Tire as soon as possible. The time was 545 and they closed at 6 PM . I went inside and I was assisted by Anthony who Was nothing but kind helpful and mindful. He Literally saved me . Could you imagine being stuck 4 1/2hours away from home with two kids and already had been driving for two hours . I was more than pleased with the customer service here . Thanks again !

Im from MD and I rented a car to travel to NY, about 30 miles into my trip the change engine oil light came on, I called the emergency road service and the solutions for that day were not convenient, so I was going to change out the car at my destination. No cars were available they said I could go to Mavis to get the oil changed, by now you can tell Im really annoyed, but when I got to Mavis Alexes was great, personable and professional and helped me right away. So if your in the Nanuet area I recommend Mavis because of Alexes he is awesome, he made the inconvenience pleasurable.

Alex, asked if when driving I felt any wobbling in the tires. I said no and he said there was no need to balance. It saved me $80.They were busy and I was able to drop my car off and come back later in the day.Alex provided great customer service with a smile. Im at the Mavis in Nanuet Route 59, The manager, Anthony, is awesome and amazing and very accommodating with my vehicle. The two customers who walked in last minute which was very quick so you did not lose the customers and now they are working on my vehicle. He said he was going to accommodate me more for waiting. Only reason I’m giving this store a 5 star is because of how understanding and helpful Dar was. Come to find out he’s actually a tech and not a manager. I’ve been to this location many times and all the times I’ve dealt with the other managers the experience wasn’t pleasant. Dar took the time to explain what could be causing the symptoms on my car, usually I’ll bring my car in and be told this needs to be replaced and that’s it. I will be coming back due to the customer service I received. I highly suggest asking for Dar if you have questions other then anthony everyone else there is just plain rude-

I’m giving my service experience 5 stars because of how efficient, informative, and the friendliness I received when I had service done on my vehicle. First, I went in for an oil change and alignment, and i was told it would be done in one hour and they were right on time. Secondly, my technician, Darwood, helped explain to me why they were recommending my car needed an alignment. I don’t really know cars well so this was very nice of him to do that for me. And lastly, all of the staff there, especially Darwood showed me nothing but hospitality, and I appreciated every part of my experience while I was here!

Stay away! Awful attitude and service!I had an appointment for 3PM. I showed up 5 minutes early and the person at the desk told me I needed to reschedule my appointment because they had to close early. He didnt give me any reason, except that someone upstairs said they need to close early. I told them I had taken off work to drop off the car and the least they could do was call me to reschedule BEFORE I came.The guy didnt once apologize, but kept on saying youre getting frustrated with the wrong person. He made it sound like I was in the wrong. Terrible attitude. Stay away.

They completely waste your time. They take way too long to do any job and are not transparent about it. If you go, plan on your car being out of pocket for at least 6-8 hours even for the simplest of jobs and even if you make an appointment. They dont give a rats butt about your time. Also its filthy.

Wow this location is terrible. I came in for an inspection and they tried to tell me I needed all this additional work to pass inspection. When I became inpatient and said I would leave all of the sudden that changed and all I needed was tires. I will admit I could have used new tires but it was not urgent. So I figured let me get the tires so I’ don’t have to come back. After waiting for an hour the manger or whatever his his role is ask to speak with me to tell me that they only had one tire and that the other 3 are on their way. I told him that I didn’t have time to wait before I agreed to the work. No I have to sit here for probably another hour if not more. When I expressed my displeasure the gentleman said “You are the one that needs the inspection not me” The customer service is non existent, the staff here have no sense of urgency and rather joke around and socialize than do their jobs. I have been to this location before and swore to myself I wouldn’t return but due to proximity and convenience I had no other option. Now my entire morning has gone to waist and I have to sit around the waiting area for hours. Avoid this place find yourself a good local mechanic. I have never seen such laziness and lack of respect for the customer what a shame.

Alexes was so patient and accommodating when I came in later than I was anticipating. I wasn’t sure if I had booked the right service. He explained what needed to be done and broke down all of the pricing for me. It was rather late in the day and I suggested coming back another day to keep everyone from staying past closing time. Alexes assured me it would be done today. While I waited for parts to be delivered and my brakes replaced, we ended up having a lovely chat. He was a joy to speak to and incredibly helpful. It was a painless trip when I usually dread things like this. Thank you!

Well..the online tire price differs from the price when you call directly. I suggest using website first. At any rate I made my appointment online and received confirmation call which was great. When I showed up I was told it was going to be a while before they get to my car and best I leave it. Well 3 hours later I called and they were working on my car and should be ready in 30 minutes. I went to shop and still being worked on, this was a 4 tire replacement. Atleast price was right for major inconvenience..👍👍👍

Well I’ve had a few bad experiences with the mavis’s in the rockland county area. They seem to very lazy, unprofessional, they don’t do the jobs correctly and the basically try to rob you if they can by telling you that you need brakes or rotors or an alignment, etc etc.....when it’s not needed. Well I had got 4 continentales at another location for my Mercedes which ran me about 1300 including the road hazard the alignment and the mounting and balancing which wasn’t so bad. But they tried to tell me there was various parts that needed replacing. Won’t get into detail just to make the story short but truth is I didn’t need any of that. I’m not a mechanic but I know enough to know what’s what for the most part I’m a big car guy and constantly do mods and spend a lot of time in a shop and around other car people and In shows so I at the very least can defend myself. So after I had got the tires they took literally all day. Didn’t get the car back till they closed in the evening when I brought the car to them at 1. Then I wake up the next day to basically 3 flat tires. The psi was at 16,18, and 20 which is ridiculous for brand new tires. Atleast I have a pump and don’t live to far so I brought the car back and turns out the had installed the valve stems incorrectly. They fixed it but with much unnecessary attitude. Then throughout the next few days I noticed my alignment didn’t feel right but didn’t have the time to get it checked right away but I had an appointment with the Mercedes dealer for the airbag recalls so they did a inspection and gave me the sheet of the results and turns out the alignment was very off when it wasn’t before so basically i paid them to mees up my alignment. So I took it back to get fixed and they fixed it but once again with much unnecessary attitude. So I’ve called a few times throughout the months to ask questions and it’s like I was making them bend over backwards when it was questions regarding their jobs. So yesterday I had purchased a set of aftermarket rims with out tires and called this mavis for a quote on either some Michelin’s or pirellis or continentals but I’m not so sure of the right tire size I should go with so I’m asking them to help with the size and the quote so I can go get them and there wasn’t even an attempt. They rep had said he was gonna get a chart and put me on hold but really he just transferred me. The next rep just said hold on a sec and put me on hold but instead transferred me again. I had got transferred to 5 different people and not one of them even made the attempt to help me with the correct size or even a quote. It’s very disappointing and just unprofessional. Who gives these people jobs when’s there’s actual good honest hard working people out of work that could be working there instead. Bad experience every time I’ve dealt with Mavis in the rockland area. Will be ordering my tires online from now on. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY MAVIS IN ROCKLAND THEY ALL SUCK!!!!!!

Alexes was the best employee hands down! He absolutely went above and beyond to help me within a reasonable time as well as assure my experience wasn’t complicated, he walk me through what was needed and assisted me getting a new tire. Every single one of the staff members were extremely polite and welcoming. Definitely would recommend coming to this Mavis!

They have done my oil change, breaks, shocks, etc. Tyler, Jose and Steve are great workers who always try to ensure satisfaction to their customers! I booked an apt on 1/29 for an inspection. On 1/30 I arrived to discover their machine was broken for over 24 hours. I was not called or informed. It was so late in the day everywhere else was booked. They ruined my day, and my week as I cannot drive this car w.o the inspection which compromised my ability to drive to work. Never do business with a company that doesnt value its customers.

Went in for two tires and was greeted by the manager Anthony. He is very knowledgeable and polite. They brought my car in and did a free vehicle inspection. The mechanic was also very nice. These guys at this location are extremely nice and professional. I am extremely satisfied with my experience at this mavis location and will be back to do my brakes next week! Keep up the good work!

Realistically, Im just really annoyed. What is the purpose of an appointment? I have a newborn and its been really hard to do anything as my free time is extremely limited. Scheduled an appointment for a car inspection. I Showed up and waited 20 mins just to speak to the front desk and learn that the inspector isnt even there today. Again, why have the option to schedule this if it isnt going to happen. At the very least an email or call or something would have been appreciated so the only free time Ive had in weeks wasnt wasted.

Ive been coming here for a couple of years, mostly due to the efforts of the Store Manager, Anthony. I met him when he was at the location before this one and he has always treated me well. He knows my car and knows my circumstances and when I leave, I feel like I have been given a fair shake.

Horrible experience. need a tired patched/replaced from pot hole. sat there for hours with a few other people in same boat, was first one in and last one out. questioned multiple times what was the hold up and was told there was an order. over priced the work we agreed on and was disrespected/arguing with the child running this place. avoid at all cost

Terrible - no customer service at all. I called ahead to get an inspection today. They took my name, my phone & my email. When I arrived to clerk simply said “not today, guy who does inspections already left”. He couldn’t care less. Zero customer care or service at all.

These people are crooks. They are not to be trusted. They will destroy your car to ensure that you return. Don’t let them touch your car....they may seem like a cheap solution but they don’t actually fix anything.

Guy at the front told me it would only be an hour and I could wait. Well three and a half hours later he tells me they don’t have my tires. I amNot sure why it took that long to figure out my tires weren’t there, all I wanted was to get my car and leave. Then as he is telling me about ordering me new tires all of a sudden they found them. Then took another 45 min to do the work I was sitting in their waiting room for over four hours. Awful customer service, I had no problem it took that long just be honest with me, I would have went home and let them call me. Terrible service

Place is a Joke. I made an appointment online for NYS inspection. Show up to Mavis and representative says we are not doing NYS inspections. What is the point of making an appointment for a NYS inspection to show up only to be turned away. Terrible customer service. Would not go here. Like I said place is a Joke. Would give 0 stars if possible.

I called to schedule an appointment, I booked the appointment when I got there early for my appointment They told me they were backed up and I was going to have to wait an hour and a half. You also quoted me $79 on the phone for a wheel alignment and when they build me it was $89. This place seems to be very mismanaged. Dont waste your time here in the future Just telling you like it is!

Worst experience ever. Had an appointment for9am, they wanted to hold the car even though I had made an appointment and picked out the tires ahead of time. No call at all, went there at 4:30pm and they never started the car. I would never use them again.

I had four tires replaced and the service was great. I also needed brake pad and rotors changed and Anthony was helpful. He also did my inspection very quickly. I will use them again.

Alexes is an awesome worker! I sat waiting for my car. While I was waiting, I admired his great customer service ethic, warm greetings to the customers ect.
