Oil changes and some general maintenance. TJ was awesome. They installed some shocks for me and did an awesome job. Even showed me how bad the old ones were which made the experience that much more amazing.They missed on 5 stars because we needed tires on our van last year. Two tires went flat and the kid that answered the phone at the time sounded like he didn’t want to work and so we went elsewhere. It was somewhat of an emergency.Otherwise always great service!Update 10/30/21Downgraded to 2 stars. The shop supervisor attempted to defraud me over $120 plus labor and tax for a coolant flush that is already included in the water pump replacement.The gentleman did take off the charges however I had to negotiate this off in stages. Very bad business practice and they have lost my trust.No more tires, oil changes or any other work on both of my vehicles.The reason for 2 stars is because when they do the work it’s done properly. Just don’t like getting ripped off.

Showed up 1.5 hours before close with a tire already off the truck just needing a valve stem replaced. I was informed that they were to busy today to help me. Im glad business is so good you cant do a 7 min job. You also appear to busy for any of my business on any other day. I showed up down the street to Discount Tire and the guy working the register took the tire out of my truck and replaced the valve stem himself. Then he refused to take any payment for service. Thats service above and beyond!

Im so tired of this. I arrived at 7:15am knowing they open at 8am. I watch an employee come out to service the truck next to me. Then I watch him allow a lady pull into a bay and balance the air in all four. All before they open. I walk up to door at 7:55am to be the first in. When he open the door, he didnt even speak but instead greeted the lady behind me including asking her if she was his 8am appointment. She wasnt. Then he asked how can he help me. I told him i needed a tire rotation. He asked if I could drop off for a couple of hours. I told him thats why I got there at 7:15am. He said he was booked for the rest of the day. His 8am wasnt even there.

Had tire leak repaired on Medical Center, but started leaking again right after. Thank you Avery and his team on Church Street for fixing it correctly. Highly recommend.

TJ is an awesome GM and has bent over backwards to take care of us and our vehicles. He’s a straight shooter that will not feed us with bs and charge you for services that aren’t necessary.

I have been using Tire Discounters for several years (at two different Murfreesboro locations), and all I can say is that they ALWAYS take care of me. They have always been friendly, professional, and honest. They have stayed open past normal hours to make sure all of their customers are back on the road safely. And I have never had an issues with their services! I highly recommend these guys!

1st of all this location is extremely professional and proficient. I had ended up coming here For a alignment on my 2007 Mercedes S550 4Matic... rectified my steering wheel from previous alignment..someone didnt do a proper job last time. As well as finding & fixing that my rear passenger tire tie rod bolt was not tightened and alignment was performed correctly and professionally. Im very happy that the gentlemen that helped me out did such a great job and were so kind. I will only go to this tire discounters from here on out!!!! Sidenote steer clear of the tire discounters by kroger.

Hardly ever leave reviews but always an excuse to patch a tire when they guarantee at the time of purchase. Husband went there and they said “ummm we don’t have time today” he said yeah because I’m not purchasing a tire and just went ahead and purchased and they magically had time. We got another nail a week or two later which I completely understand is our fault and took it back since they promise and guarantee warranties and patches to assist customers and again “umm we can’t get to it today” and then never called to tell us the car was ready. Should think about the complementary services you offer to customers because this retains customer business.

I and my family have been getting jobs done on our vehicles for a couple years with this store. They have exceptional customer service and have always been fair in their dealings with us. Would recommend doing work with this company to anyone needing work done on their cars.

Installed a lift on my 95 Blazer and boy did I screw up the alignment. Took it here because of their one year warranty. They aligned my Blazer, but soon realized an issue. One side of the front was jacked up and one side sagged. About an 1” difference. After doing some research I found I needed to replace the torsion bars. They were cool with me replacing the torsion bars my self and they realigned it for me. They have some truly great folks working up here and are willing to work with you! Very happy!

I dont normally leave negative reviews. I appreciate local businesses. This time is different. I have used a different vendor for years. I moved and was trying to locate a new store to buy my tires closer to home. I bought these tires and they have vibrated constantly. I also asked them to change the oil as well. There was an issue with what they did during the oil change so I returned to have them correct it. I also asked them to attempt to help with the excessive vibration. They denied they were the problem with the filter. They also did not correct the vibration. I returned home to discover one of the post on my wheel had been broken off. I then returned to show them this issue only for them to shrug their shoulder and deny any responsibility. This store is to be avoided at all costs. There are many suppliers in town who do an excellent job. Do not use this store EVER. I will return to my original store across the county where they have done an excellent job for 30 years. I have no recourse to get this fixed so my only hope is to help others avoid the same mistake I made.

I went here a few weeks ago. Chip provided excellent service. I called to try to get new tires before going on a trip and he said to come on over since they weren’t busy. When my car was finished, chip was the only one running the counter. The customer ahead of me had an issue with his car and was supposed to have left an hour ago. Unfortunately, no one else could check me out and I had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes. Chip was very nice and helpful and tried to handle both accounts at once. When he asked how everything was, I said it was good, except for only having one person at the counter and that had delayed my leaving. He threw in free wipers and installed them for me. I thought that was really a nice gesture when I hadn’t even asked for anything. He’s a good GM! Recommend this place for sure

Had U Joints done on6/18/20. As usual, no hassles. The staff there is first class. Always honest, up front and wont do work that isnt needed.One concern that has nothing to do with the store. Needed hub bearings done on my Ram, was quoted in store a tad over $1,000 to do the job. Another shop in town did them for just under $700. BIG pricing difference.

Went to Tire Discounters to only get front rotors turned on a Nissan Rogue. The quote was over $220.00. Gateway Tire price was $90.00 for the ae job.

Went for flat tire repair. I bought brand new tires months ago at a different location. I was still charged for it because it never showed up on the system. I went ahead and had them change the oil. Rotation, alignment, and fluid fill up is included. Fluid fill up was never done. It was empty before and after service. Flat tire fix was never properly done. Why? Because my low tire pressure came on today on the same EXACT tire on the SAME EXACT side. Meaning, they NEVER did a rotation. Had they not done a shoddy job of actually patching the tire I would have never known they NEVER rotated it to begin with. I highly doubt my oil filter was changed too. Great work guys! As a contractor I drive about 50,000 miles a year. My life literally depends on having good rotated balanced tires so I can get home safe. My lug nuts were also damaged.

You would think a company that is trying to capitalize on their competitions fame by making their name similar would also try to match their competitions prices. I went to discount tire today to get some tires put on but I was in a hurry and the wait time was two hours. So I drove down the street to give these guys a chance but the cost for all four tires was More than $200 higher than discount tire store. Needless to say I got back in my car went down the road and waited the two hours

We got a flat yesterday, Friday October 16th 2020 right in front of the store! We bought the tire there! Talk about luck! Tires were still inder warranty. I swung in, got the tire patched Badda Boom Badda Bing, back on the road in 20 min no charge and still made my Dr. Appt! Beautiful! Love these guys!

This will be the last time we spend money at Tire Discounters. After an issue at the location on Lascassas Pike (one of my new tires literally exploded 30 minutes after getting home, and we were not apologized to or given a discount for my entire day being taken up, and they acted like they did us a huge favor by replacing the exploded tire) we decided to come to the Church St location for an oil change and tire rotation. The tire rotation was free since the tires came from here. I was charged $70 for a regular oil change, and when I asked about the price, he told me its a big motor. Really? I have never been charged more than $45 for an oil change anywhere (including previous oil changes at Tire Discounters), and my motor is the same kind of motor thats in a pickup truck.

The guy at the front desk even went out of his way to look up another issue Ive been having with my car, even though its something that they dont specialize in, and gave me some ideas on what might be causing the problem and why. UPDATE: Upped to 3 stars because I was contacted by regional management who seemed sincerely committed to customer service and resolving my issue. Refreshing to still have businesses who are able to admit error and work to make it right. Thats what customer service is all about. Thanks.Initially I had no complaints with their customer service. They werent spectacular but they werent bad either. I got new tires and rims. I have been disappointed since that day. I have been back 3 times with low tire pressure in 2 of the 4 tires. I could type out a long detailed story about how the service has gotten worse with each trip but I wont. I dont advise people to buy tires from here or use them for ANY of their services. There are too many other places out there with much superior customer service values. 0 stars if possible. Do not recommend. I welcome a response from customer service people to make this right.

Stopped by at 830am for two new tries - fully expecting to have to make an appointment and return another day...was pleasantly surprised they had multiple tire options in stock for my vehicle. The staff explained my choices, recommended a brand, and gave me a discount (like the name!). The waiting area was clean and had a designated space with dedicated television for littles. I had a few cups of coffee while the kids watched Teen Titans GO and we were out of there in 30min! Highly recommend!

My go to shop now for the past 2 years! I have 3 vehicles and get them all serviced here. The story behind finding this gem of a place was due to a $3,000 estimate I was given from a highly recommended Ford repair shop. Coming from an aircraft maintenance background, I knew this didnt seem right. So I stopped in to Tire Discounters for a 2nd opinion, spoke to a mechanic, and he agreed $3K was outrageous - I was having an engine miss while going above 50 mph on a hill. The mechanic easily identified 2 bad coil packs. I had all 8 replaced, new plugs and wires installed and paid a great price! Saved around $2500 from the original estimate and have not a problem in the last two years. These guys really know their stuff! They never pressure or persuade me into unnecessary repairs. They have busy spurts at times which may require a longer wait, but this is expected at any repair shop. This is also because of their demand. Finally, as an added bonus, Im retired military and I was told so is the owner. So I will continue to support my military family as they also support mine. Thanks for the outstanding service you guys provide. Highly recommended!!!!

Phenomenal service! Went in for new tires and told them the car was riding rough and asked it to be checked out, and sure enough there was a problem. Kyle showed and explained to me everything that was wrong. My car is riding smoother than Ive ever felt it now. Great place to have work done, great people, and great prices.

I bought tires here less than a year ago and they already need to be replaced. I’ve never had tires go out that quickly. Barely lasted half the distance advertised. Ridiculous.

Couldnt get my car in anywhere else on my only day off. Had to get a wheel bearing replaced (according to them it couldnt wait) and I needed an alignment. They wanted to do the brakes too but their pricing was outrageous! When all was said and done they didnt put the inside brake pad back on, rushed the alignment so it wasnt done right and caused more damage. I ended up replacing front caliper too because on the time it took me to get it done elsewhere,the damage to the caliper and already worn rotor was astounding!I had the brakes done with 2 new calipers that didnt need replaced at the time of my visit for almost half the price!This place needs shut down!

Came in after work for second opinion. Was told I needed struts, clutch, tires and alignment. Turns out all I needed was a couple tires and alignment. Car drives GREAT now. Customer service over phone was kind in nature. But would not give any prices over phone. Their reasoning is that something else could be wrong. I understand that, however, I was specific in my request on pricing. They wanted me to come in for a free brake inspection. To be fair, a lot of mechanics do this, which is what makes people skeptical of mechanics. This practice is ultimately about making the consumer invest time. It entices the consumer to make a purchase because of invested time. It could easily lead to unethical pricing practice. Not a fan

Finally, I received top quality service at affordable, competitive prices. John, the new Service Manager was great as was the whole team. I am very satisfied this time after having had bad service the last two times at another location in middle TN. Overall, they did an excellent job and I would recommend this location to everyone. I called every where to get an oil change and every where I called they said they had too much to do to fit me in, seeing as i was going on a trip and waited last minute ( completely my fault😅) i thought for sure I’d have to wait a few hours to get it done .. Its been a year and our tires still looking good. The service we received was far from enjoyable. With two kids in tow I was told it would be 45 mins. Thats doable..for they even have a small play area for kids and tv for others. An hour later I was told it would be another hour. This was not doable. 2hrs and thirty minutes later my car was returned. I quietly and respectfully complained about the wait time. They respectfully removed 100 dollars from my bill. When I called to set an appointment for the next day they gave a price of $55. The day of the appointment when I brought in my car, I was told $79 and that that was the final price. When I explained that I had given my make and model the day before when scheduling, I was told that I must have called a different location. Sorry but Im not dumb and I will not be belittled by someone that Im paying. I asked for my keys back and left. WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

Went in yesterday morning after the check tire pressure light came on in my car. They found a nail in one of the tires, the tire was repairable, which they did promptly and there was NO CHARGE. They were running a promotion which happened to be perfect timing for me. It was a win-win for both of us. I got the tire fixed for free and they earned a new customer that will definitely do future business with them.

Prices are higher than anywhere else, my son was told one price, then charged over $100 more, told rotate and balance and road hazard would be included for the life of the tire, balancing is not included, read the fine print, if you need a tire replaced, you use your warranty and will be charged a warranty again,on the replacement tire, will not go back.

Bought 4-tires from them last September. Took them in yesterday for the free rotation and balance. they had me in and out in no time. I started going there for my oil changes too. Good people!

Ive been going to this store for the last year and a half and had the worst experience ever yesterday, 6/26/17. I scheduled a oil change and tire rotation for 11:00. I arrived at 10:50 and did not get my car back until 12:50. They didnt even take my vehicle in until 11:55. Why schedule an appointment? Because it sure doesnt matter. And then they had the gall to tell me it was going to cost $20+ to repair a tire with a nail in it. I asked why this wasnt covered by the road hazard coverage. He said it was. Why did I have to tell him that, he knew I bought the tires there, because he asked that when I was checking in. Why would you not check that before telling a customer its going to cost them extra. I dont know if this store is under new management or what, but it was a whole new group of guys that Ive never seen before and their customer service needs a whole lot of work. Dont think Ill be going back to this store again.

Complete disregard for the apartments behind them, at 8 oclock, after closing the employees here have done countless burn outs. Leaving black markings across the parking lot leaving the apartments filled with smoke and me angry.As I am having my parents over for dinner with my wife, all we can hear is tires screeching and engines revving. And this is NOT the only time this has happened. When I walked up to ask them to stop they were asking eachother for another beer idk about you guys, but I am not aloud to drink at work.

My most recent trip was for a re-balance on my wheels, a service they offer free if you bought your tires there. Not only did they fit me in late on a Friday, it was a 0 profit service and they did it right and quick.The service at this location plus the company as a whole blows the competition away.

Offered cold water to waiting customers. Helped me get in and out quickly so I could pick up my other grandbaby from school. Absolutely the only place I will go for tires.

I had trouble finding certain tires. Jeff was able to get them picked up from their warehouse and delivered to the store within an hour so I could get an appointment that same day! They earned a new customer today!

Worst experience of my life. Between two different days and 6 hrs of having my car tire discounters were able to scrape my rims leave vise grips on my tie rod and break my lug key all from a simple alignment balance and rotation that should take maybe a total of 2 hrs. These are not the people you want to trust with you and your families safety on the road.

Great customer service! You couldnt ask for a more professional crew. The facility inside was clean and they had refreshments as well. Course my wait wasnt that long because they got me back on road in no time.

Usually I have had great experiences here but i picked up my car around 2 and I left the parking with four brand new tires and oil change and alignment. as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot my driver side rear tire started saying low pressure and it was at 11 PSI so I turned immediately around and went back to the bay and told the gentleman my brand new tires pressure is really low the gentleman on the second bay said just drive around for 15 minutes it will be fine so I did that for 15 minutes and the pressure went down even more it was now at 8 PSI and flat, possibly damaging my wheel bc the car rode bumpy. I drove it straight back and this is all within 30 to 45 minutes at most and to get to the bag in another guy aired it up and it was around 37 he said it should be fine so I left well here I am at 4:50 after theyre closed, coming back for the 4th time today of me coming back after already spending around $430, and now Im just screwed because theyre closed tomorrow this is ridiculous hopefully I dont have any problems getting to work or anywhere else this weekend.

I am a skeptic. I feel most car places are just trying to upsell you and prey on the customers lack of knowledge. I have not once felt that a single time taking my car in to this Tire Discounters.Chip Daniels saw that I had a flat tire and took the time to pop it off, inspect it, diagnose the problem and then resolve it so I could get back on the road in no time at all.He saw there was minor denting and excessive corrosion to the rim of the tire I had a flat for and didnt let me leave until he had it looking brand new.It is employees like this why I will always be able to trust in the expert opinion and advice found here, thanks for giving me one less thing to worry about.

Dropped truck off today (Saturday) at 11:45 for an oil change . Were 4 deep right now, well call you when were done. No call. Go by after hours and truck is locked up in shop. No answering machine. Not open on Sunday. Opens at 8 on Monday. I leave for work at 7 a.m. On Monday. No vehicle the rest of the weekend and suspect Ill be late for work on Monday. 👎

Was just reading the reviews and I want to say. I have had my 2004 Explorer in the church street location multiple times. Yes sometimes they are backed up, and sometimes they have to shift appointments. I worked as an A.S.E. Mechanic for over 20+ years. When you work on a car sometimes you run into problems or situations that may cause the job to go longer. Or underlying problems that may adjust cost. Please remember to be a little more patient, these are mechanics not fortune tellers they have no way of telling what may or may not happen. Also when youre tired or not feeling well it can be easy to lose track or make mistakes. I want to just say that Taylor and the rest of the crew are hard working and courteous and always willing to work with you. Thanks guys.

Sooo I just want to tell everyone in Murfreesboro and surrounding areas that T.J. AND his team made sure I was in and out quick! I called shortly after they opened and was told to come on in. Tire rotation was awesome but I asked them to check my air & see if there was a leak as tires were losing pressure slowly & my low pressure light kept popping on . They said they would but probably wasnt a real issue. 2 days later & Im stuck out of town with a flat.

Went to get new set of tires agreed on a certain price before they started. There were only two people ahead of me and I still sat there for 3 hours to do tire change and alignment!! When I go to check out the man gives me a higher price in which I had to say no that’s not what we talked about! Thank goodness the man dropped the price. When I go out to get in my car it has no stem covers on any of the tires so I had to go back in to ask them to put them on before I leave! Overall service of this place is not up to par and time of wait was horrible! The bad thing is I might have to take it back because the tires vibrate in the front now so one of the tires might have a knot in them!

My wife to be came here by mistake thinking it was the other store. Sales guy talked her into buying 4 tires she did not need. All she wanted was a tire patched or maybe replaced. Sales guy saw a women that didnt know any better and took advantage of it.

They are always the kindest and confident people. They look out for the best deals on the tires that we need. We are going to start using them for other services on our cars.

Good, fair price and very professional. It did take a little longer than I was told, but Id rather have things done right than fast.

Great service

I went in yesterday to have two used tires, I purchased there, put on the back and have the current back tires moved to the front then overall balancing. I walked in at 3:50 and didnt leave until 5:40. Absurd! I want to also say when I entered the building there was one person there waiting in the waiting area and he was ready to go w/in 30 min after I got there. So I was the only one in the waiting area. Then a off duty employee came in needing his car done so he put his car in the bay and began working on his car. By then I had been waiting in the waiting area for about an hour so I wanted to see what was going on so I got my purse and walked over to the open area where the huge windows are. I observed a lot of talking. I mean a lot and they had a new guy that had just finished up some paperwork that was in the bay that I guess the manager thought it a good idea to tell him all about where everything was and having my guy over to talk to him with questions he had all while he had my tire just balanced in his hand on the ground. I also noticed the ONE guy working on my car (even though there were about 5-6 guys there) was being delayed from putting my tires in the balancing thingy because of the employee doing his car. By then they saw me looking and I guess noticed I wasnt too happy. They continued to just talk and showed no sense of urgency at all. Everyone kept at the very same pace. I looked at my car and it was in the air and had all four tires off. This was at about 5:10. My car was in the bay around 4. Finally after the manger saw me pacing and seeing I was really getting annoyed they had all four tires balanced, and put back on and was pulling my car out of the bay within 25 minutes. Even putting the new guy to work on it. When I jfinally got checked out there was NO apology or any explanation as to why on earth I had to wait almost 2 hours for the service I came in there for. He just kept smiling and trying to chit chat w me. I was having none of it. I just wanted out of there. My daughter needs 4 new tires. I was going to send her there because its convenient to where we live. No thanks. She def. cannot wait for what would Im sure be 4 hours for something so complicated for them to do.
