Went to the in on church street October 28,2021,was having issues w my tire, there was a screw in the tire, they were very friendly and they were very nice 😊 we got there at 4:45 pm when they closed at 5:30, nice group of guys there that’s for sure, I will be bk for sure, highly recommend them

Gary was great. We had new tires put on the van, our A/C checked and charged, and our brakes inspected.I was completely satisfied and happy. They are very professional and polite. I highly recommend them.

Brought my truck in first thing in the morning for new brakes and was told it would be complete in 2 hours. After 3 hours I called to check on their progress and they hadnt even started. These people are completely incompetent. Do not take your vehicle here. I received no update that it was going to take longer and was headed out of town that day so needed this done. Do not waste your time with these people.

I am very pleased with the honesty & integrity of Dale & the auto technicians at Gateway today Saturday 20, 2021. Oreillys tested my battery & alternator on Friday & told me it was the alternator. I took it the very next morning to Gateway tire, Dale suggested I have an electrical test ran on my car due to the fact that my alternator was reading good. I did and nothing was wrong all was good with alternator, battery & starter. I sincerely appreciate they professionalism & honesty of the Gateway crew, that is hard to find in auto shops!!

Very fast and friendly service. I noticed i had a flat on my trailer while pumping fuel at the pilot. I called gateway and they told me to bring it down and they would have it fixed right away. Sure enough they got me in quick so I could get back on the road. Their technical was fast and punctual. I hope I dont get a flat next time Im passing through, but if youre looking for an awesome tire place with fair pricing and fast service. Gateway is the place to go.

Seems like this place is in slow motion. I keep trying to get an oil change because my employer has an account with them. They basically say no now because the last two times I waited like an hour and left because they didn’t even move my van. Tried again today and they were laughing at me when I came in. I bet whoever owns gateway wouldn’t be laughing if they lost our entire fleet or new how that place is ran!

My service rep, Gary kept me informed and up to date on the progress of my vehicle. Knowing that I had limited time for the service, he went over and above to help me get the service I needed in a timely manor. Thanks guys!

Love this place! I’ve been a loyal customer for over 10yrs because of how well everything is at this place. Over the years, they’ve done a lot of small things for free which gets me coming back for bigger stuff. Service and prices are exceptional. Ken took great care of me recently- patched a tire for free until I could get back in to replace all of them. They honestly treat me like family every time I go in and never try to push unnecessary things on me. I will continue to give them all the business I can!

Only complaint....Please remove the politics from the setting...all tvs were set to political news. I have a 2012 Chevy Impala with a front end that was shaking like crazy. I thought for sure it was a CV axle, or bearings, and was fully prepared to spend up to $1000 for the repair. Dale and the crew at Gateway diagnosed that it was simply bad front tires. Two new Yokohamas and an alignment and good as new. In and out in 2 hrs at less than $400. Fast, friendly, affordable, and trustworthy.

For years Ive been coming to this Gateway Tire location and have always received excellent service. I run a business called Road Warrior Tour Rentals and they have helped me with several sets of tires for my fleet and serviced my vehicles. Frankly Im disappointed I didnt leave a review sooner but today they went above and beyond. They were sorry to hear about how our business has suffered and just did a little extra to help us. Traveling with family through Murfreesboro on the way to Atlanta in late July when we realized we were losing tire pressure from a nail in the tire. Got off on the closest exit and lucky for us, Gateway Tire was right there. We were on a tight schedule and the folks at Gateway Tire did everything they could to get us in an out as quickly as possible. We were in a vulnerable situation and I expecting to get taken advantage of from a pricing standpoint - BUT quite the opposite! Thank you Gateway Tire!

I came in from Another state, and had a nail in my tire. This morning, I took it to these fine people and they fixed it for me. When it was time to pay, they simply refused to accept payment. They shook my hand and said “it was already taken care of.” This is a shop that I recommend to all, though I may never return to the area. Thank you to the owners and workers!!!

I will now go back because of honesty and willingness to make the customer happy.Original Post: Pretty frustrated with Gateway right now. Took van in for new tires. Couldnt get back before close. They agreed to just lock keys in van (talked with them 30 min before close) and I would pick up in the evening. When I went back to get on Saturday evening, it was locked in shop. Closed on Sunday, so I cant get the only vehicle that holds entire family until Monday. Very frustrated that they didnt do what they said they would do.

Had my car aligned. Tech ran my Viper into the parking curb and damaged my freshly wrapped car. Manager said that he would mail a check to the vinyl shop for the repair. Vinyl shop never got the check. Its been over a month.Had to have the car realigned at dodge dealership. The specs were way out and bolts were almost falling out from what dodge dealership told me.Disappointed

I would have given S. Church, Murfreesboro Gateway 5 stars had I wrote this review prior to yesterday. I had brake work done a little over a month ago at Gateway, new brake lines because of a hole & it is a 1995, they were needed. I felt they were honest & fair in pricing, BUT.....(this is where they lost 3 stars), my brake light came on again, I stopped in & explained that I recently had brake work done & light was back on. I was told it’s probably low on fluid.No offer to look to see if that was the problem, he only directed his attention back to the computer.NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!Stopped at Advanced Auto,Advanced Auto asked me if I needed help to check & add the fluid. I bought the fluid & I was helped, only needed a very small amount (maybe 3-4 oz)So a few minutes of time & a small amount of fluid topped off would not have cost Gateway really anything but instead it cost them a negative review.Kudos to Advance Auto for 5 Star customer service!*Note- I was contact by Gateway the day after this review. Apologies were conveyed & it was agreed that more should have been done. So Thanks to Gateway for follow up!

Go here, always! Just went to a discounted tire place to fix a valve stem for a leaking tire. That place tried to tell me I needed all 4 new tires and couldnt replace it without tearing the tire. $470.Went to Gateway tire instead, no hassles. Said it was no problem. Fixed it fast for $11.Ive always had great service with everyone there. Wish other places were the same.Thank you.Forever loyal now.

My mother and stepfather are regular visitors, and after I arrived in town experiencing slow acceleration, my mom brought my car in here. Unfortunately I didnt catch any of the gentlemans names that worked on my vehicle, but they provided excellent service, didnt talk down to me or my mother as if we were stupid females who knew nothing about cars. I got an oil change and they offered to do a diagnostic check on my car for the acceleration on the house. It may be a while before Im afforded the opportunity to visit again, but they were great none the less.

Highly Recommended: Moving to a new place and finding trustworthy car care is like finding a new doctor. Its hard to find folks good at their job with trustworthy intentions. Gateway has come through three times for me at least once at each location. Their staff is professional and pleasant. There team is fast and concise. Im a repeat customer of the Murfreesboro store. Any of my visits for tires and alignment needs have always been positive. I usually get a quote online by emailing the store first. This gives me a chance to consider options for what Im needing. Each time that Ive then arrived at the business, the process and service has been smooth and always keeps me considering this business for all my tire needs. Before finding Gateway Tire I had tried other businesses. They were okay and I had no real problem, but Gateway Tire has a much better feel and carries better tires, some of which are not available at those other places, probably for good reason Im sure. Keep doing what you do Gateway Tire, and Ill be a long term customer that also suggests this business to other folks!

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at the Gateway Tire & Service Center in Murfreesboro, TN. I have brought my car to the Columbia, TN location for years so when I had car problems shortly after moving, I assumed Gateway would be a safe place to take it - and boy, was I wrong.I brought my 2007 Chevy Cobalt LT in for repairs on Friday, September 7, because it was having trouble starting, smelled like gas, and had a small gas leak. I assumed it was the fuel line. Upon inspection, I was told my fuel TANK was leaking (it had a hole in it) and needed to be replaced. I was quoted $420 by Shane, the salesperson at the front desk, for a used fuel tank and labor costs. I paid $49 to have my car diagnosed. I left Gateway after diagnostic tests because I did not have a ride to work, so I needed my car. Shane told me he would look around for a fuel tank and I could call back on Monday before bringing my car in to make sure he could get one.I called Monday, September 10, and none of the service reps had any clue who I was or what my problem was. I repeated all my information and they finally found me in the computer. I was told a fuel tank had not been ordered, but they would look around for one and call me back. I was NEVER contacted by Gateway again.Tuesday, September 11, I called again and was told, again, that they had no idea what was going on with my car and they had not located a fuel tank. They decided to quote me for a new tank because they couldnt find a used one to the tune of $1098!! Im a college student who definitely cannot afford over a grand in repairs when I was only quoted $400.My boyfriend and I were frustrated so we visited the store to talk to the reps in person. When my boyfriend explained how much Shane had originally quoted me, the man at the front desk got irritated and said Well that doesnt sound right, essentially calling us liars after THEIR service rep had quoted me this amount!! We left shortly thereafter and decided to never come back.After some research online, we found out that there was a recall on my car for a fuel pump module. Gateway NEVER alerted me to this recall. I ended up having my car repaired AT NO COST at the local Chevrolet dealership because it was covered under the recall. All we had to do was google the VIN and it popped up, so Im not sure why the Gateway reps could not have told me about this.Shane finally called me back on Wednesday, September 12 to tell me he had located a used fuel tank (for more than I was originally quoted), but it was too late - my car was repaired.I am incredibly disappointed with the service I received. Not only did I pay $50 to have my car misdiagnosed, but the reps were unorganized, rude, and tried to persuade me into spending over $1000 on a part that would not have fixed the issues with my car due to the recall.There is truly no way to make up for the horrible experience I had and I will never visit this Gateway location again. Gateway was a service center I trusted but now I am telling everyone to run the other direction and never visit this location.

My new vehicle had some free maintenance. I developed a slow leak in a tire. I took my car to Gateway and they patched the tire - for free!! Great service with a heart!

Since moving to Tennessee about 18 months ago. My wife and I have had to have car work done if I cant fix it. Today being the third time having vehicle done here in Murfreesboro, there is only one place I would recommend to anyone and that is Gateway Tire and Service Center. Absolutely spot on with honesty, loyalty and trustworthy. And most of all treated my wife with respect when she was on the phone with them.

We had the best service! Gary Glapa and everyone at Gateway were very kind and helpful when our car broke down in Murfreesboro on our trip from WI. They went above and beyond to help us in a tough situation and even followed up to ensure made it back to WI. Great people!

Blew out the tire on the highway around 12 am and had to wait for a place to open at 7. Gateway actually let us in and started to fix the tire 20 minutes before they were even supposed to open. Quick service and knowledgeable employees.

This place is awesome! We take our fleet cars here, for the price they charge, I will be bringing my 3 personal vehicles too! Super fast and very reasonable prices... $150 for pads, turn rotors and drums.

A rocker arm had to be replaced in my Chrysler 300. The dealership was wanting almost $900. Called Gateway and spoke to Shane and I found a much better deal. The mechanic had my car in and out in two and a half hours. They made me the happiest guy there! If you need Services done to your vehicle but dont want to pay the dealership prices, then I highly recommend the Gateway Tire on Church Street! They are tops!

David and his staff are great. We werent sure exactly what was wrong with my car and they spent time checking everything that it might have been. Turned out to be something minor. Ive always had a good experience with Gateway, and their prices are very reasonable.

Great place to have service done. Fixed our Denali in half the projected time and didnt brake the bank. Got us back on the road to Florida in 2 and half hours which shouldve took 5! Highly recommend!

Great customer service. Fast installation

They fixed a car with a check engine light on, but it came back on the next day. After spending no small amount of money on these repairs, I stopped by to see if they could determine why it came back on. They were condescending and rude I cant see inside the engine and other statements implying it was too complicated for me (a woman) to understand. I took it to the express oil change down the street, and even though they hadnt done the work, they hooked it up to the diagnostic tool for free and explained there was a cycle period of 100 miles and the light could go back off (it did). That interaction took less than five minutes, and if gateway had just told me that instead of being rude, it would have saved me a lot of frustration. I recommend going to the Express Oil Change guys, as they are also full service and much easier to work with.

I chose to visit on a weekday during non-peak hours which apparently made no difference on the hour & 40 minutes it took to get tires put on my vehicle (only took 45 minutes on my last visit to Discount Tire). This place has more sales staff up front than they do technicians in the back, which should tell you all you need to know. I gave them two stars because eventually the tires did get installed. Ill stick with Discount Tire for everything in the future.

I am a frequent visitor for vehicle maintenance. They always take good care of me and my car. If you purchase tires, they rotate and balance them for free. If there is ever anything wrong with your tire and they cannot fix it, they prorate for a replacement. They have free Coffee too! Always very knowledgable and friendly.

Dale and the whole crew there at Gateway Tire are fair and straight. They are not always the cheapest for a particular service but they do quality work and they stand by it.For my most recent experience, I went in for what I suspected to be squeaking brakes. Gateway was packed on this day but Dale worked me in to do a quick check of the brakes. The squeaking was not the brakes and not something else more dire (werent really able to easily determine from where the sound was stemming).I am not sure if it was from me being a frequent customer or just general goodness but they did this inspection for gratis vs. the typical $59+ mechanics fee. These are good guys in my book.

Im a really chill person and I dont really leave a lot of reviews because I usually dont really care honestly, but this place was so bad I feel compelled to warn everyone.Discount tire is ALWAYS busy, and Ive never spent more than an hour, hour and a half there. This place had one other customer on site, and it took THREE AND A HALF HOURS to change tires. I was quoted a price for the tires, and then they added a jacked up alignment free which was double what I would have paid anywhere else, and Im told by other mechanics now that an alignment isnt a must on new tires unless the car was pulling (and it wasnt). They told me they put window washer fluid...I turn it on, and instead of spraying my windshield, I see a leak from the hood. Open the hood to see it sprayed up on the hood. I dont even know how they messed that up.TLDR; payed double and waited triple what I would have somewhere else. They completely screwed me and acted like it was nothing.Will never return and will warn others to avoid.

I am not usually the one to write a review, but I had such a positive experience that I want to share the details of my visit.When I arrived I talked to Mr. Shane Robinson at the front counter. I told him I need an alignment on my vehicle after hitting a massive pothole in Nashville. I continued on to tell him that I have had it at other shops (for an alignment) before and they had made things worse, not better. He said their alignment guy has been doing alignments for 40+ years so he is confident in his tech.My vehicle was pulled into the shop and aligned in no time flat. After I left, I paid close attention to how my vehicle felt going down the street and I am happy to say it tracks straight and the steering wheel is centered like it is supposed to be.I will definitely be visiting Gateway Tire in Murfreesboro in the future.

David found my problem with my brakes and fixed them and replaced two tires. The service was great and the prices was very exceptable. I have gone and used them again and as always the service is the best in town. I will continue using them in the future for all my car needs.

My Jeep showed a low tire alert so I pulled in to Gateway and they checked all four tires, topped them all off, all for no charge. And they were super friendly!

Update: Im going to up my review from one to three stars. Within an hour gateway called with an apology for the issues. Apparently I had my ticket read back incorrectly to me from some new staff they just hired on. The new manager is really trying to turn the place around from the sounds of it. I still ended up leaving gateway without my problems solved, but it was because they tried saving some money for me by swapping just a fuse in the ecm and not the whole thing. While the fix did not work, I do appreciate the effort. Over all I have mixed feelings over this place, Ill probably give them another try with something like an oil change in a few months, mainly because I believe the new manager will be able to turn the place around in time.Original:Brought my car in because it would die on idle. When the looked at it they said the ecm was blown and i need an ac kit. I told them to replace the ecm and hold off on the ac. When i picked up my car the charged close to 200 dollars and told me the ecm was replaced. 100 miles later and my car is stuck in a parking lot again. I called them and they said they did not replace the ecm, so no warranty, and that they had serviced the ac. Even worse, the ac is still broken! Essentially i paid them 200 dollars to claim they did work only to end up right where i started. This wasnt my first experience here either. So fair i have been here 3 times and every time they get my order wrong. Never have seen such a disorganized car shop in my life.

I was desperate for new wheels for a BMW. They were unable to help me and kept sending me to Hubcap Heaven who would then send me back to Gateway. DISCOUNT TIRE helped me on the spot with amazing new wheels and tires. What good is Gateway if they cant even do that?

Past review dissapeared. I was charged over 1200 bucks for a tune up on a 360 dodge ram. When i dropped off i didnt think would be a big deal. Was never called with an estimate just showed up to 1200 dollars for something i could have done on my own for way way less than half

I just recently started using gateway as of the beginning of the year, I’ve been here several times and they do great work as of now and there prices seem fair, the guys there are very friendly and they don’t seem to have you sitting in the waiting area for hours at a time just to get you in, if the work continues to be good and the prices are reasonable, I will be back for all my car care needs.
