I have already posted about my last excellent experience with TFG . Well, today they surpassed all of my expectations. I have had an odd sound coming from under the hood of my car. I went to TFG this morning hoping they could help me out....and they did . I am blown away by their service. I did not have an appointment but they were able to take care of meThey had one of the technicians ride with me in my car in order for him to diagnose the problemNot only did they fix my problem but they found something else that needed attention. These guys are phenomenal. More important was that there was no charge for my repairs. I will always go to TFG for any of my cars needs. They are the best!!

Excellent help! Did lots of work myself on my truck to then find out it would not pass emissions. I was completely stumped and so were two other tech shops that I took it to. Good shop to have vehicle diagnosed and repaired. They are friendly fair and professional. Marty has taken care of all our auto repairs for over a decade. Prices are a bit higher than other shops on some repairs but I dont mind paying for quality.....I highly reccomend this auto repair shop to everyone.

The marketing attracted me on a google search. When I called, they were friendly and was able to see me the next day. When I got there, they treated me like a person and did not act frustrated with my multiple questions. It was my 16yo’s car, and they took care of it like it was for their child. I will return, but hopefully not soon.

Went to other shops about a check engine light and it would pop right back on. Went here and they actually fixed it at a reasonable price. My new go to.

They messed up my heat and air in my car and they dont want to fix it or look at it!! They fixed one thing and messed something else up!! Never again will I go to them!! I wish I could give them zero stars

Cant give rating. They didnt answer the phone and didnt return my call so I went elsewhere to have my vehicle worked on. I would consider them in the near future as long as contact can be made. Having to give a one, hopefully that will change.

True Ford garage.

My husband utlized this organization this week and was provided with poor customer service from the employee and manager. He was repeatedly given different timelines for when the work would be completed (six hours, thirty more minutes, just a moment). None of which were accurate. My husband is a disabled veteran and explained to them that he needed to know how long it would be as he could not stand for long periods of time and needed to know a realistic time frame for completion. At one point an employee retorted to his concerns well when life gives you lemons. The manager complained about how little money they make from the service provided and blamed techniology for the issueThe root issue however was not that rhere were technological issues it was that the staff do not know how to provide realistic timelines to their customers. The plaques on the wall boast about being a veteran owned buisness but they did not give appopriate customer service to this veteran.

The technician that installed this product cut the wires going to my off road lights. Very unprofessional. He could have unhook, then put back cutting not making me aware not happy.

My fiance and I went to the Pumpkin Patch down in Murfreesboro, stopped to get gas, and then our vehicle wouldnt start. It was between $300-$400 to have it towed back to Cookeville. White towing was the cheapest tow, and in town tow. They referred us to TFG. They got it looked at almost immediately, and got it running in less than an hour. They were a huge life saver, and so nice and great! I will always be greatful to them for how wonderful they were to us!

Called to get a quote on replacing my transmission with a spare transmission I had and was told they do not install anything that they didnt sell. Every other transmission shop in the area will though, so they struck out with me.

We live in White House and drive over an hour to Smyrna to have all our vehicles repaired at TFG. It is so hard to find truly honest mechanics these days and Marty, Jonathan and the guys at TFG are the absolute best! Five Star service every time!!

Brought my 92 Mustang in for a front brake job. A front hub was replaced at the same time and over $600 later my car was done. Picked up my car and it had a dead miss that wasnt there before, and the car had been driven over 50 miles since I dropped it off. Having worked in auto repair for 14 years I can tell you this distance is way excessive for a brake replacement test drive. Someone had a fun ride in a 450 hp car. On the plus side the brakes work great now. I didnt bother taking the car back, took it elsewhere to have the miss diagnosed and fixed (which ended up being at least partially caused by them tampering with the timing). Chalking this off as lesson learned and have found a local honest shop to take my vehicles to from now on.

Up until this time they were pretty good at letting their customers know what was going on. Now, no. Not even close.Ive spent thousands of dollars at this shop over a period of years. The last was $900, not including a new fuel pump. They replaced that because the $900 didnt fix the issue...neither did the fuel pump. Before I took my explorer in it at least ran decent minus a check engine light. Now it doesnt run at all after $900 worth of parts and labor plus a new pump. Not only is my check engine light still on after a month of being in the shop (minus three days of me driving it) but my check fuel cap is on, NEVER has it ever came on and I have a major coolant leak as in I drove to work that night came out the next morning and ALL my coolant is on the ground. Wasnt even a problem till I got my truck back. He informed me their was some seepage but to keep an eye out. I DIDNT think that meant the next day all my coolant would be on the ground. A plastic piece that goes on the top of my engine was sitting in my passenger seat when I got my truck back.If you dont think you can fix an issue just tell me that way I can find somebody who can. No the timing chain is NOT the issue when my coolant is pouring out, no my timing chain is NOT the issue when my check fuel cap is on. The timing chain he was pushing was never an issue. The original issue was a pcv valve which was the code which turned into hoses being replaced, pcv valve being replaced, intake manifold and gasket being replaced and whatever else needs to be replaced now.Just say ya cant fix it after a couple weeks not a month. Id rather somebody tell me they cant than try and screw my vehicle up more which is exactly what happened. . By this point I dont care bout the warranty cuz I wont be taking ANY vehicle back to this place again esp seeing as I have an inoperable one in my driveway now that they worked on. Covered by warranty or not. Its pretty worthless if the techs cant fix the problem anyway.

Ive dealt with these guys in several occasions and every time they go above and beyond to work through and fix the issues. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Would recommend them above anyone else. Period.

Marty is a great guy. He fixed my car after Murfreesboro Ford tore it apart and refused to fix it. Very professional. He even stoped at my house to look at it before I had it towed to his shop. Estimated $300-500 in my driveway. Total repairs was just under $310. I would definitely recommend and use him again.

It pains me to write this review to what started out such a great business. However, I took my chevy equinox in due to the check engine light being on. I was advised I needed to replace my actuators and that this was a common concern with my vehicle. The cost of the repair was slightly over $300. After the repair was completed the check engine light remained on. I was then advised that I need d to drive the vehicle est 800-1200 miles to reset the computer. After driving it for approximately a month I returned with the check engine light still on. I was then told oh between you leaving and returning it appears you have a bad sensor and that will be an additional $300. My question was how am I to know the sensor was the problem to begin with since the light has yet to go off. I was then advised that the technician would have to speak with the manager and would contact me with an update the next day. It is now a month later and have have yet to be contacted. I have called and left several vm to no avail. My check engine light is still on and I have to renew my tags this month. I am very disappointed with the treatment. Im only giving it 1 star because it will not allow me to give zero

I thought the exact same thing as all previous reviewers until the professional to client relationship was pulled out from underneath me, and my car. I even sent them business. The owner, Marty, disappeared a long time ago, but he knew plenty when things went awry. Paul, I believe his name is, was his protege. I put a lot of money, time, and trust into these guys, but I will never be back. Ill chalk it up to the lack of education beyond fixin cars. These guys need to learn how to not only deal with clients on a professional level, but how to listen, read, and execute decisions. But, if you want to pay a lot of money in parts and labor, be a good client without formal reciprocation, and learn the hard way, by all means, please visit The Ford Guy (since, legally, he cant really call himself what hed like after becoming pro [at shady business] from a mechanic history at Ford... the actual one)

I took my 99 F350 7.3 into them shortly before Christmas for some diagnostic work. I explained to them that I would be out of town for a bit and they assured me it would be no issue at all. I was gone for a week, when I came back, the work was done, the problem found, and I was unable to pick the truck up due to extenuating circumstances. I ended up having to leave it there for another week, and they did not have an issue with it at all. Most shops would have thrown a fit about a big truck taking up parking space, but these guys were polite, patient, and professional. They didnt try to hit me up with any unnecessary repairs, services, or storage charges. The owner who informed me of what was actually wrong with my truck and what it would cost to fix seemed a bit, hmm... Irrationally exuberant? Almost bubbly? But once I declined the repair and explained I only wanted the diagnostic, he didnt try to push or sell anything else, which was a VERY welcome relief after having dealt with other shops. I will most definitely be returning to this place if I ever need anything else.

Took my 2000 accord there, was told my block was leaking coolant and no spark. My water pump o ring was leaking nothing to do with block and had spark the whole time. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
