Awesome! Murfreesboro Auto Repair took care of me and my vehicle. My truck needed some major repairs, and this shop was very friendly, and helpful when deciding what would be best for my vehicle. The owner of the shop even called me to walk me through all the options I have and what repairs were needed. They were willing to work with a 3rd party warranty company that covers my vehicle and kept me informed every step along the way. Due to issues the shop cannot control parts were delayed and my truck ended up being in longer than anticipated. Murfreesboro Auto Repair let me keep one of their shop loaners the whole time, which saved me tons of money and stress. Holly at the front desk was very informative and kept me up to date with everything going on with my vehicle. Very professional shop. Ill be bringing all my vehicles back here for future repairs.

I told him what I needed and he was exceptionally polite and offered very informative and detailed options. No BS; just matter of fact. Not only did they deliver; its my new go to place!!! Great value; knowledgeable mechanics and exceptional service. I came in for a brake job and also needed a serpentine belt replaced. This business was under construction but still operational. The receptionist, Holly, was friendly and helpful. Some of the techs came in and visited while I was there, it was clearly a relaxed yet professional environment. The owner gave me a ride home when I dropped off my car, a nice touch. The quoted prices were high for the work I needed done, but if you have money to spare I would give this shop a chance. We ended up going with a different option, but diagnostic was only $96.

20/10 Recommend. If you live in the Murfreesboro area and want a reliable and honest team of mechanics and staff, this is the place to go. Had to take my 2007 Honda there twice and both times staff were both polite and honest. Each time I dropped my car off, I received a call in a timely manner with a diagnosis, thorough explanation, estimate in cost and estimate turn around time. This shop is full of it. Trust me.Let me start off by saying I have never had any SHOP working on my vehicle since I had it for 3 years.As soon as I take it to this shop I kid you not I was being charged for someone else mistake twice because I had to go back again for the same person to fix the “real” issue. This is the kicker my engine light comes on literally 3 months later. If I told you all details what happened and said I’d be typing up a book. My truck died on me over the weekend and I had it towed here based on AAA recommendation. By Monday afternoon, they had already looked at my truck and had it running. The customer service was excellent, from Holly at the front desk, to a technician who explained more to me about the problem, to the owner or manager (I believe). All were professional in the way I was treated and how my truck was serviced. I’m from out-of-state visiting my adult children, yet felt as if I had been doing busy with them for a long time. I told my children (who recently moved to Murfreesboro) about them and recommended they go there for service to their own vehicles in the future. They are amazing even though we had to have a number of repairs that needed to be completed. They got us in when we had the winter storms and had the car fixed 3 days sooner then we thought with better prices on parts then we had first been quoted. Last fall I gave this business a glowing review of my brake service. Fast forward to this past spring when I asked them about the frequent noise I heard when braking. I was given a couple of dubious reasons. Now, two months later I find out from the car dealership that I need new brakes and pads because what I had were aftermarket pads that were not even installed properly. Finally, no more clunking noise!

Im from out of state and my car unexpectedly broke down on the freeway. I had it towed to Murfreesboro Auto Repair. We called ahead to let them know it was coming and they informed us they would not be able to look at it until Monday (it was Thursday right before closing at the time). We needed it to be fixed so we said go for it (the other places we called were at least a week out for repairs). They called the next afternoon to say they had been able to fit it in and it was fixed already! All the staff were very friendly and my car runs great again. Very affordable as well!

I’ve taken my car here for a few years! My very first experience my car was shaking when I was reaching high speeds. I went to a few places to figure out what was wrong. Murfreesboro auto repair not only found the problem but they found an additional problem with a crack in my axel and it was significantly more affordable than all other places had quoted me to just fix the original problem. Called for price check on brakes, they tried to charge me $350 per axel, over $1,000 total. For a brake change. I called another place and I was quoted $370 total. I’m sure if my fiancé called it would’ve been cheaper.Update: I was given in very good detail what they’re going to use and the quality of parts Based on my car model. Congrats to you, but a woman didn’t answer the phone. I said what I said based on experience. I was calling around for AFFORDABLE prices. Not cheapest. Which most people are. Over $1,000 is ridiculous.

I am fairly new to the Murfreesboro area and I had my first experience here a couple weeks ago and I was not disappointed at all. I went in for a headlight bulb change that I was told before would be very difficult and cost a good bit of money but turns out it wasnt difficult at all. They did also find that I had a burned out wire that needed to be replaced too and they fixed it. The price was not outrageous at all. Very reasonable. The ladies in the front was awesome also. I really enjoyed talking to them. When I left, I told them I would definitely be back because I decided to make them my go-to for all my future car troubles.

Took the Jeep there after the check engine light came on. I already had another out of town shop check the code so I specifically asked them to look at that. Dropped the Jeep off in the afternoon and they told me to expect a call later that day. I called them the next morning and they said they were still looking and would call back in 30 minutes. They did call back two hours later.They charged me $95 to run a diagnosis after which they told me what I told them when I got there. The quote was for $1,800 to fix my issue. They also gave me another $1,900 of things I needed to do. One of the extra items was a leak from my timing box. I didnt feel confident in the mechanic after the call.Took the Jeep to another shop, the original issue turned out to be a few loose bolts causing a sensor to see an issue. The second shop said no charge. These guys got $95 out of me but they will never get more because I will never go back. Ill be leaving a positive review on the second shop.

Absolutely no customer service. No answer with calls or emails for over a week. I wasnt sure if i should order the part. My passenger side mirror is broken which is obviously important so I ordered the part hoping theyd answer since they had such good reviews and were the closest mechanic. And I finally get a response a week later that just says no we cant help you. So yeah, not happy.

My girlfriend’s car was having some scraping noise from front wheels. They diagnosed as front brake are shot. Unfortunately, we didn’t financially ability to perform the service but I do appreciate the thorough checkup and breakdown of work. The diagnosis cost only $64. I will either do the brakes myself or come back later. AND there is nice doggo in the waiting room. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I recommend to take your car here.

Took car in for a loud grinding they found out it was a fan that was loose. I only had to pay for diagnostic and didnt even play full price because I was a student at MTSU.Not to mention they fixed my check engine light(knock combustion sensor was unplugged)Ill be coming back for my next auto repair

My battery randomly died on me one day and I was able to jump it to drive to Murfreesboro Auto Repair after AAA recommended I go there. They took my Jeep in right away to run some tests and kept me updated the whole time. I left my Jeep with them and later they called and left a text message to inform me it was ready to pick up. They were very quick to diagnose my problem (needed a new starter, new battery, and corrosion clean up) and repaired it efficiently. Very kind and professional people (and a very cute dog) here, I highly recommend them! Thank you again!

UNTRUSTWORTHY BUSINESS.Rude people. Tried to take me for an idiot telling me things like my new battery needed to be replaced with one of their 200$ batteries and that my serpentine belt that i had replaced less than 15,000 miles ago needed to be replaced and several other lies that added up to almost 1000$ of unnecessary repairs. Upon telling them that i did not need their repairs i just needed my car to start (the reason i brought it in that they overlooked) they got rude with me. Charged me 90$ for a list of false diagnostics and left grease on the beige interior of my car. And they avoided SHOWING me any of the so called corrosion and wear. The battery did not have the claimed burned cell as tested and shown by 2 other mechanics.They will find any dollar they can squeeze out of you and hope you dont know enough about your car to pay it. I tried them because i wanted to support local business but at this point im better off going to walmarts auto shop. If you have the option to go anywhere else, go anywhere else.Thankfully i have a trustworthy mechanic near Knox that not only didnt scam me while fixing my car but showed me what and how needed to be done and cleaned up Murfreesboro autos greasy spite stains from my door.Take a tip Murfreesboro auto, youll make more money on return customers if you do honest work rather than making people not want to come back. And their claim that the place was busy and that it was a busy time of the day, i went in first thing in the morning. There wasnt a soul in there.

Seems like they did a good job. But it did cost $288 for an oil change and new sparkplugs. The majority of it was labor. They had to figure out that it needed new sparkplugs, but I could of, and I guess should of, told them that the vehicle was due for them.Edit:I do feel as though the price for the oil change and new spark plugs is fair, but I do not agree with the $80 diagnostic fee. It was never communicated to me that there would be a diagnostic fee. If you looked up general maintenance on the vehicle, you could tell that it needed new spark plugs according to the milage it was at and the sticker in the window suggested that it needed an oil change. I also believe I told the receptionist that it needed an oil change. I should have mentioned the spark plugs and then I would have saved $80.In general, I think that $222 in labor for this specific job is too much.I do appreciate your efforts, though, as well as, the 10% discount for new customers.

Great service when we were at their mercy!Our daughters 97 Camry broke down and we had it towed to Murfreesboro Auto Repair. We live about three hours away and didnt know any repair shops in the area. We chose MAR because they are AAA affiliated.We left the car with them and went to get some lunch. We returned in about an hour and they had checked the car and told us it would need a new engine. We had never been faced with this problem and since it was an old car it was unlikely we would replace the engine. But it means a lot to our daughter so Eric was willing to get some quotes for us. He also explained how he could dispose of the car for us so we would not have to take it back to our hometown. He was willing to do this although the chances of us getting it repaired were really slim. We sincerely appreciated his help.The entire staff was courteous, friendly and professional. Although we did not have any work done on the car, if ever need work on a vehicle in that area, Ill go there without hesitation.

Terrible service. My vehicle sat there all day long for them to tell me that it would cost thousands of dollars to fix a car that I didn’t even pay that much for. Then charged me 200 dollars for doing absolutely nothing besides telling me what I already knew about my car in the first place. Wouldn’t recommend this “auto place” to my worst enemy. They Are Scammers!!!

I had been putting off car maintenance for awhile just because I wasnt sure where to go. I wanted a local mechanic, and not one of the big chain shops that try to sell you services you dont want or need. Found these guys on Google and sent a request outside of business hours. Holly contacted me first thing on Monday morning, and they were able to get my brake job and oil change completed same day. Spending money on car maintenance is never fun, but I feel 100% better knowing I wasnt ripped off or charged too much. Thanks!

I feel Murfreesboro Auto Repair is very up-front about pricing and options, once they have a full understanding of what is going on with a car, and what work needs to be done right away for safety and mechanical reasons and which repairs can wait a be put off for a little while until the customer has the necessary funds.

I had an issue with my car last week and was due for the emission test, I googled and found this outstanding place that has awesome reviews, I went there and was greeted and seated. Immediately they inspected my car and gave me great advice, explanation and unbeatable price for the work to be done even offered a discount as a first time customer. So I had a code P2263 in my Jetta for the turbo. I was expecting at least $2,000 bill to repair, but these amazing people checked the turbo and repaired it with around $550. And they were very polite and nice people, plus AAA approved repair shop, with 10% off discount. Highly recommended

My car was starting to show some wear and tear...200+k miles can do that! Called and made a next day appointment with Holly. She was so helpful and let me know the cost for the diagnostic test (waaay less than the dealership). I showed up and she got me right in. Once the diagnostic was completed, the owner, Eric, came over and let me know the results, making sure I knew exactly what they recommended and the breakdown of costs.While I waited in their very clean socially distanced waiting area, I also witnessed them going the extra mile for a woman who needed her car sooner than they initially had told her. They were respectful and compassionate and it clearly put her at ease. Even with being down one technician for the day, and non stop calls, Holly and Eric greeted everyone with kindness and a smile.I will absolutely be back for services

We had our car towed here with AAA when our transmission went out. The owner really went out of his way and personally helped me when I had to pay for an expensive new transmission. I also ended up having a flat tire and he drove to a tire place to get me a new one to get me out of the shop as soon as possible. I highly recommend this place and for extra special customer service from the owner himself. As an extra they have a very sweet dog in the waiting room that adds a fun and nice touch!

Took my vehicle to get repaired. AC issues. Picked up my vehicle still wasnt right. Took it back, andtold me I had to spend more than 1100 dollars on something that should have been handled in the beginning. So u add that and over 900 thats crazy. Not offered anything to make it right. I knew it was something that when I was called back he hee hawed around. Never again! I thought Mr transmission went out years ago. Yall better check around!!.

They disconnected the dash cam on my sports car and broke my door handle. Im assuming they took my car on some kind of joy ride because of the disconnected dash cam.Edit: they called me, told me nobody would want to joyride my car because its beaten up, and proceeded to talk over me when i was giving my reasoning for a bad review. When i was in person he said that the car hadnt been documented with door damage when it came in and offered to replace it, then after i left the review he cancelled the order for a new part. There are so many places you can take your car. Take it to a place that doesnt turn off your dash cam and break your interior.Edit 2: upgraded to 3 stars because after saying he cancelled the order, he actually didnt. part just came in today

Came in unscheduled as a walk in. They were able to get my car in almost immediately on the day I was there. Great and friendly staff, competent technicians. They did the repairs requested and didnt spend the time there trying to upsell and convince me my car needed massive additional repairs. That goes a long way with me and is one of the major reasons that I will be happy to return as a customer. Looking forward to doing business with them again in the future.

I had used nothing but big chain auto shops and I was miserable.I decided to take a chance on Murfreesboro Auto Repair and I was so glad I did. The owner and the employees all have a family vibe and were so nice to me. They fixed me up quick and the price did not break the bank. I haven’t had any issues with my car since then but I know that when I do I will take it straight to them again.

In January I took my car elsewhere to get it diagnosed thet place wanted 1700-3000 to fix the problem. When I brought it here they said 300 then fixed it for 300. Two weeks ago it was acting up and when I gave them the code I was told 200-500. I brought it down and 2 hours later they said it was all fixed and no charge because it was the same problem again. Its refreshing to deal with HONEST people. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Thanks for everything!!!

Brought my car in for some long overdue brake work, an oil change, and a safety inspection after some accidental offroading. Staff was friendly, patient and educational, and didn’t try to sell me anything. They fit me in and worked around my time constraints on day 1 for the oil and inspection, and gave me a discount for both being a new customer as well as coming back for the brakes. Brake work was less than I had been quoted by firestone and done very quickly, they even included complimentary bearing re-packing in the quote as an added bonus.Locally owned, and the owner was on site both days I came in. Glad to have my money going back into the community rather than Valvoline or Firestone’s ceo’s pockets.Shop dog is lovely and chill, 10/10 would come back just to pet that snoot.

I thought my brake pads had gone bad so I went here and he was very honest and very quick and efficient. Instead of charging me for new ones he said he didnt see anything wrong with them, I just had a little rust on them from moisture and that would come off when I used them. He recommended holding off on replacing them for a while and just charged me for 30 mins of labor. Hard to find honest mechanics anymore but youll find them here.

I was not disappointed as I received a great and friendly explanation on the phone about possible scenarios of what I was looking at.The price I was given was also lower than others I had received even though they use OEM parts. I went ahead and had them do an oil change while they had it. I didnt ask for a price on that, but I assumed they would be in the ballpark of what I normally pay. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they actually charged me less than where I normally have it done.Nice, friendly environment for a local family owned business. What more could you ask for? Evidently top tier parts, thorough explanations, accurate time and cost estimates are also included! Excellent shop! Mboro Auto Repair fixed my oil leak fast, at the least cost to me. My car was ready the same day I dropped it off, and I was completely satisfied. I would not hesitate to call on them again if I needed maintenance or repair on my car.

Moved to TN almost 4 years ago. I always try to do my own repairs but my engine light was on so I needed a mechanic so I could get it inspected. I googled found this place made an appointment, got in right away very friendly service even the manager came from back and talked about my issue. They called the next day explained everything gave me a price and I approved the work to be done. Car was ready the next day and to my surprise the actual invoice was about $180 cheaper than quote. Again talked to the manager/owner that explained everything to me, the young lady behind the counter was awesome. I will be back! Highly recommended.

Unfortunately it looks like Kee’s Auto Repair has closed. I drove by there a few days ago and there was a sold sign at the front of the business. I have been a loyal customer for more than 10 years and had hoped they were just on their annual vacation. Kee and his wife ran a great business. A business that I trusted. Not only had they worked on my cars and trucks, but also my children’s, my mother’s, sister’s, and even my brother’s. I wouldn’t have recommended them to my family if I didn’t really trust them. I read some of the negative posts on here and I clearly there are trolls on the Internet. I guess you can’t make everyone happy. I can only speak from my experiences and those were always top notch. I wish them well in all their future endeavors and just want to say thank you for all the jobs well done.

Murfreesboro Auto Repair is by far the best, most outstanding Auto repair company within at least 100 miles if not more. The office was already closed, but I contacted the company via email. Within just a few hours, I had received a response that they would be willing to look at my vehicle. Next morning, I called and spoke with Clara, who was kind and listened to what my needs were. I was able to make an appointment that very same day for someone to look at my car.This company was very accommodating as I had two different areas of my car needing diagnostics, I was still able to work from within their building. I would not have been able to do that with other repair shops. The owner Eric was very kind, as were the mechanics in the back. When the mechanic could not hear the grinding sound I had reported, he didnt assume what the issue was, but actually had me drive around with him to try and show him the noise. Even more, once he looked at my car again, he not only told me what the issues were, but actually showed me on the vehicle itself! Never in my life has that ever happened. Im only apologetic that I did not remember the gentlemans name so I could mention him here.The company sticks to what they say, even with the Loaner Vehicle! I was so grateful to have that, as I live nearly an hour away, so getting to an from would have otherwise been an expensive problem. With all the work that needed done on my car, it was finished by 11am the next morning! Super fast, super friendly shop! I would recommend for anyone to have any service completed on their vehicle with Murfreesboro Auto Repair! A few months ago I had a power steering fluid leak caused by a worn motor mount. Instead of replacing the single motor mount they insisted on replacing all of the mounts. I knew this was bogus because I had previously replaced 2 others less than 6 months ago. Instead of trying to fix the necessary mount he wanted to charge me around 4 grand for all of them. I view this as dishonest and would have rated 0 stars were it not for their professional shop and nice demeanor. I am sure they do great work here. Just know exactly what you need beforehand. My V8 pontiac is running great with all the engine sway and movement restrained all for under 900 at Dr. Boltz
