They replaced my brake rotors, pads, and fluid. They also inspected some oil seepage in the engine area. After the work was done I was informed where the seepage was coming from, and that it did not require immediate attention. Rather I was supposed to have it inspected regularly and they could fix one of them when I have my timing chain replaced. The others we could keep on eye on. They sent me text messages throughout the day letting me know of the progress, and sent me digital pictures that I could review from home along with the service report. The price was exactly as estimated and they assisted me with getting a Lyft ride back to my house. I have used this business before and they have always provided excellent service.

I came here to do a routine oil change for my Mini cooper. The service was great, staff was friendly, price was reasonable and they also gave me a free inspection report with detailed pictures. I would definitely come back again and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This place was by far the most relaxing and truly “stress-free” shop ever. Paul is so sweet and kept me updated as they fixed my car. She also sent me notifications over email and text so I was well informed about what steps they were taking with my car. This five-person team is small, efficient, and professional. Paul is the one talking to customers. Given that I had no idea what to do with my used mini cooper, he patiently explained everything I need to know, and we selected the services together. In the rest of that day, I received SMS after the completion of every step. In the afternoon, Paul called and politely reminded me that they noticed that the battery was seven years old and its cover was chewed by little mouse during the pandemic when I had not used the car for months. I decided to change the battery and cover. Everything done before 4 pm that day, including the diagnostic of the tire pressure alarm (they found no problem with my tires and resetting the alarm made everything OK). I was left sufficient time to pick up the car before they off work at 6. But I chose to pick up the next morning. However, @ 164K miles it experienced a timing chain guide failure. I was having a re-occurring problem with my car and was in and out of various car repair shops for 6 years. I didn’t drive the car much because it was a low mileage car so I would pick it up and drive it home where it would sit covered. I was talking with Yinon, a principal with Stress Free Auto Care (German Motor Specialist) and he mentioned having them take a look and was confident they could find a cure. After running many diagnostic exams, they located the problem and it was quite a relief. This particular car is rare GT2 Porsche. Friendly staff, diagnostics are very thorough. They send you a text image of any problems the mechanic might find. They did recommend to replace a drive belt, so I took it to the dealership at Mt view, but the dealership said the belt is fine. Im not coming back here.

Paul Pizano is the man! I took my car to the dealer and was quoted several 1000 dollars of repairs. Took it to Paul for a second opinion and was told to fix only the stuff that needed to be fixed. With photo evidence, they clearly tell you what is wrong and their prices seem reasonable.

I discovered German Motor Specialists probably 15 years ago and since then havent taken any of my 4 beamers anywhere else. the work is superb, the staff is friendly and theyre very, very honest and realistic. I really rely on them.

If you have an issue that needs repair but the car is still under warranty, they will inform you to go have it done at a dealership, free. They are very fast in getting the work done and accommodate your schedule. If they don’t stock a part your car needs, they will order it and delivery is usually no later than next day. One thing I really appreciate is their honesty and integrity - always being honest about the car’s needs and never pushing not needed or not urgent work. They will tell you something might need attention and also when you should worry about it. Saied, the owner, is extraordinarily helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Lack of expertise, lack of professionalismThey did an inspection of a low oil pressure alert. They diagnosed that sensors and valves are not working. After we changed all sensors and valves, low oil pressure alert was still there. When I finally check oil pressure with an oil pressure gauge, I saw that my cars low oil pressure still there.I cant believe they returned the car without checking oil pressure after an oil pressure alert. It could cost me a full engine rebuild and a possible law suit against them. They are extremely unprofessional and lacking any expertise that they claim. I had to overcharged fees for an unprofessional diagnosis and unnecessary repairs in here. Im still trying to reach them but I get no response.(Moreover, they tried to charge $235 for a part which is just $90 in original Audi service.)

Prices were very reasonable earlier so got all work done my BMWs for many years as it was great value for the good quality they provide. Now they ask for unreasonable prices and are comparable or more than BMW dealers. Have moved to going directly to dealership now.

And it is well earned.They even discouraged me from doing some repairs on my vehicle when I revealed that I might not be keeping it much longer. Never known a repair shop that would do that!

The service was finished at the promised time. It was an easy process, from driving into the service area without the zoo atmosphere of a dealership to the straight forward consultation with the advisor. While they dont have the amenities of the BMW dealership like a complimentary car wash, I liked not having to deal with crowds and long lines of cars waiting to be serviced. The advisor also gave me a first time 10% discount.

This place is great, I came here to get an independent inspection done on a CPO car I had just purchased. They caught a major issue that the dealership somehow missed in their 300 pt inspection, I took it back for a free repair and avoided what wouldve been some serious damage down the line.
