I have owned many BMWs over the past 22 years and the last 5 BMWs I have purchased at BMW of Mountain View. Why? Because the sales AND, more importantly, the after sales and service has really been very good. I moved to the Emerald Hills area and although there is another BMW dealership nearby I insist on going to BMW of Mountain View.As far as Im concerned, my sales person, Joe Wahler, and my service advisor, Wayne Chan, ARE MY A-Team for all of my BMW needs. In the unfortunate event when my BMW M4 had collision damage I trusted BMW of Mountain Views collision repair service AND THAT too was a high-quality experience.I will continue to use BMW of Mountain View for all of my BMW needs.Why go somewhere else when Im getting great support and service here?!? :D
Not a great experience unfortunately. Having a 6-year old car, I didnt need to bring it to the dealer to be up-charged for an oil change. However, I wanted and expected excellent service. 1) The person in the Loaner office: not friendly or helpful, mumbled under his mask and had to ask him many times to speak up, 2) Upsold me for sparkplugs, air filter, wipers, = $1700! 3) attempted to sell me 2 new back tires including alignment for another $900. He told me that they were at the minimum recommended for driving. When I saw the paperwork, they were still in average condition for tread! I told him that I would look elsewhere for a better deal and he told me that he would come down on the price if I would agree to get them. This makes me feel like all prices are negotiable. Is he just up-charging me because Im a woman and dont know any better? 3) Cashier looked like she was stressed out. No please or thankyou. 4) Porters didnt know which car to bring out first. I waited 20 minutes AFTER I paid to get my car. 4) Trash was left in my car from the tech 5) car was dirty inside and out = if Im paying a premium charge for service, I expect at least a nice detail. 5) My check-engine light was still on! The porter just gave me my car back - I step inside and the light is still on. I then had to leave my car overnight as they re-diagnosed the code. Apparently the technician forgot to snap some cable back together tightly. Im fairly sure it wasnt test driven after they fixed it due to a faulty thermostat (which by the way - has been a problem on every single BMW that Ive owned). 6) When I asked to speak to the manager, he made light of the situation saying well theres nothing we can do about this tonight, so lets get you in a loaner and leave it overnight. This is not how you talk to an unhappy customer.All of this reminded me why people dont take their car to the dealer after its past its warranty. Im disappointed with the service and will be finding a reputable mechanic on my own.
It was a terrible shopping experience and I dont want to buy a car here again. I was angry because I had been cheated. When I bought a car, the salesman promised to give me the protective film service, but he only gave me half of it. They explained to me that it would be too expensive to do it all. Are you kidding? Dont promise a service if you cant give it away. Because you represent your company, deceiving customers makes me think that Auto Nation is very dishonest. If using dirty tricks to sell is what your company is all about, then Im sure youre doing a great job. Finally, I advise those who want to buy a car here, please think it over.

Outstanding service adviser Marc Nappi. He treat me a very important customer. He set me up for a loaner vehicle prior my schedule service. I get there Saturday morning and everyone were so friendly, met Marc explained to me what they going to do to my car, and then accompany me to get my loaner car and I’m off. In and out in less than 10 minutes. Got a call that my car is ready for pick that afternoon, picked up my car and Marc already set me up for my next service prior picking up my car. That’s a outstanding service!!!
Shutters of my front grill were not working properly. Dropped it off in late afternoon, ready for pickup by 11am next morning, incl. full inspection and software upgrade. Excellent job.
I got a message from my car saying there was a malfunction of the drive train that would impact the engine performance. Got very concerned and contacted Wayne Chan, my wonderful service advisor. As always, Wayne immediately schedule an appointment for me and made arrangement for a loaner car. Later on he sent me a detailed report of the problem and a quote to fix the issue. He was able to offer me a big discount on the price! It took only 3 days for them to replace the part and I was so happy to have my reenergized car back! Wayne has been a terrific advisor for me and his highly professional service completely change my impression of BMW (I used to get my service done in another store and had terrible experience there). Was looking to purchase a BMW X2 2021 after having an SUV that was a bit bigger than I originally wanted it to be. The X2 was a perfect size and was much better on gas mileage than my previous vehicle. I went on a test drive during my lunch break and really like the vehicle. Unfortunately, the salesman helping me wasn’t able to get my payments to an amount I was comfortable with. I ended up coming back to the dealer later that night probably around 8 p.m. I had Sean help me out this time and he was excellent. He was able to work the numbers to what I needed and I ended up purchasing the vehicle. He provided great customer service and took the car to get washed while I finished up paperwork. I really appreciated his customer service especially since it was so late at night. At no point did he make me feel rushed or pressured to purchase the vehicle. He told me to call him to schedule my vehicle getting detailed and again the service he provided was excellent. He answered my call right and was quick to get me scheduled for that same day. He greeted me took the keys and in about an hour my car detailing was complete. I would definitely recommend Sean to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

Great Experience. No pressure, helpful information and great context with prices and options is my summary. The Sales Advisor Pathak Gaurav is the guy to ask for. The whole process was pretty darn simple. I leased (and if you are doing so make sure your fill out the online application form … its a breeze). I did a short test drive and the car M4 Competition was outstanding. So a quick call to the “decision approver” and we had green light to make it happen. What I will tell you is that I’ve had the car for less than a week and each day it has exceeded my expectations. Forget the BMW German Build quality (which is table stakes)…. Its the little things that have blown me away such as Apple iPhone Wallet that has a digital key! No need to have a fob. Apple CarPlay integration is soo seamless making it far safer to drive and never having to look at my phone screen. Okay I can’t leave out the power plant …. I have had an M before but this Engine is beyond wow! I considered both Audi and Mercedes and I’m very happy I did not go with either of them …. It would have been a mistake I’m my opinion! (Our other car is a Tesla which I love, but this is the car I love to drive).

With over 50 years buying vehicles, this is the best experience I have ever had. Don (sales manager) and Jeremy (salesman) were superb in every way. They kept every promise they made. Not a hint of sleaze, which I experience numerous times with other SF Bay Area dealers.Did I pay a high price for superb service and honesty? No. The terms of sale were the most competitive in the SF Bay Area. Win, win.The experience was marred only on the day of delivery, when processing of paperwork took several hours. I attribute this delay to the Finance Dept. Don had to intervene to speed up the process. The documents were not ready for signing, and the finance officer seemed irritated that we had financed such a low amount (to qualify for a generous BMW financing incentive rebate) and did not buy any extended warranty coverages.Would I recommend BMW of Mountain View to my family and friends? Absolutely, without qualification. Save yourself a lot of frustration and even grief, by taking your business to this dealership.I have no preexisting relationship to this dealership in any way. It is 40 miles from home, but easily worth the distance inconvenience.
Really easy transaction. I emailed for quote, after about 5 emails back and forth i got a good price and a copy of contract sent to my home for review. I went in next day to pick up car, no surprises, car was nicely presented under a nice portico. If we didn’t look at other cars (for my wife) we could have been in and out in 30 minutes. Very professional and knowledgeable sales (Leonardo) and super easy finance (Daniel).

I am absolutely shocked, appalled and disappointed with my recent experience with BMW of Mountain View. This past Monday I identified a car I was interested in and communicated with Michael at the dealership. On Wednesday I asked Michael to hold the car for me until Saturday at which time I would come down and buy the car. At that time, I signalled intent to buy the car. That day (Wednesday) Michael sent me a contract that would hold the car until Saturday and also gave written consent the car would be held. I signed the contract and sent it back. Thursday he asked what time I would come in and Friday I got back to him the time I would buy the car. I was then subsequently notified on Friday that the car was sold on Wednesday after I was given WRITTEN consent and signed a CONTRACT dated Wednesday that I had an intent to buy the car and it would be held until Saturday. I would expect to have been called before the car was sold or even notified given I was told the car would be held. Who is running this dealership in which a car should have been held but then was sold? Is a sooner commission check worth more than brand image, quality, and integrity? No car, no email, no commitment to a written or signed agreement. Just an excuse of it being this individuals weekend and that he was not able to track inventory. If a dealership cant even uphold to a signed contract, what is their word worth and what kind of operation is going on here? This puts a bad name on the car salesperson industry and on BMW of Mountain View...what a shame for the industry and this dealership...
Special ordered an extra key for my e46 M3 on Monday. Was told might be in on Wednesday that same week. They called me on Tuesday and said it was in already! Service programed the key while I waited. Super Service

I have to say I am usually quite pleased and recommend this dealership to my friends. This time was definitely not worthy of praise. I was in for a broken windshield on my 2016 M4, and neglected to take photos of it before I dropped it off. Living an hour away, I called my Service Manager and asked if he would be so kind as to text me a couple of pictures in order to allow me to process the insurance claim. He said sure!. Long story short....six messages and multiple conversations asking for the pictures, I never got a single one. Now...they had the car one full week (which is another series of mis-steps). Then when I showed up to get the car, there was still tape on the windshield holding it in place to allow the adhesive on the windshield to dry, and the car was filthy. To be fair, the young man who brought the car out seemed embarrassed, and asked if I would like him to wash it, but I did not have the time to wait. These folks used to NEVER treat customers or cars like this....and it wasnt just a bad day....I heard promises for pictures all week. All I can say now is one does not let the same dog bite them twice.

I had issues getting a question answer regarding one of the online service discount. I had to call 3 times. The first 2 they ask me for my name and number and told me somebody was going to call me back but never did.Finally on the 3rd time they answer my question and from there on service was great.

He was in constant touch with me on the service of my 550i GT and although it was a little pricey, my car runs amazing! Like a brand new vehicle. I am very please with the service and communication that the team at BMW Mountain View convey. Great job guys. I will definitely bring my business to you.
The team was polite and efficient. Based upon the number of e-mails and a call fro my service support individual asking me to submit a rating, BMW clearly puts pressure on their service team to to get both high ratings and substantial survey response rates. While I agree this is important, perhaps the effort is a bit more diligent than need be.
I came in to BMW of Mountain View get a diagnostic on a used BMW that I recently purchased. Marc Knappi was my service advisor there for this. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He did a great job explaining the results of the diagnostic to me. He also got the diagnostic results back to me on time. He even went to the trouble of calling me, after I dropped the car off there, to inform me that he had indeed observed the problem that I told him about and that I didnt need to send him the maintenance report I got from another maintenance shop. I highly recommend Marc and BMW of Mountain View!
I brought my BMW in for its first service at the BMW dealer in Mountain View. The whole process was seamless. They checked me in and got me my loaner and I was on my way to work in less than 30 minutes. My service advisor, Wayne Hong, was great. I brought my car in for the park light: BMW did not have the unit on hand so they cleaned the corrosions in the socket and replaced the light bulb instead. I was also provided a review video for the 5-point inspection in which the technician found everything in great condition except to check the alignment. The entire process is quite painless and I am very happy with the overall very efficient service from Mr. Mark Sleiman and his team @BMW Mountain View.

Buying my X3 was an excellent experience overall. The salespeople patiently worked with me to close the deal with the right vehicle at a fair price. I received outstanding customer service from sales. Appreciated the input I received from the Finance dept as well to find the right purchase option. I typically dread the whole process of buying a new vehicle, and am v grateful that this was relatively painless and that it went smoothly. This one star is not for service team, they are perfect and very professional.This is for the sales team.I bought a certified pre-owned car just within two weeks. However in this two weeks, the Infotainment system broke down. I went to the service center and they are nice, they fixed it and also take responsibility to find a loan car and everything. Although I was a little unhappy about the system broken down, the service team made me happy. However, just two days after I fix the system, one of the key battery went down, I was right on a far trip and its really annoying, I have to live with the physical key for days. I dont know, maybe its hard to check the system and key batteries, etc before you hand the car to your customer, but I feel like certified-pre-owned at this sales center means NOTHING! NEVER VIEW CERTIFIED PRE OWNED HERE AS A PRIVILEGE. Also I try to complain this to their team before I wrote the comment here, no one answer the phone, their attitude is, I cant help at all, find the service department. Maybe I made them lose their patience because of all these issues on the car. SO AM I. Customer service number makes me wait forever, no one really answered.
Great service visit. I was seen immediately at the appointment time and all service items were take care of. I particularly liked the ride share pickup and drop off. I did not need my own account in order to get the ride.
This is my familys 6th Car with BMW of Mountain View and were once again... blown away! Joe (the Leasing Manager) has always gone above and beyond for my family in providing excellent service. Lets be honest, purchasing a car is supposed to be exciting, but all of paperwork, time, etc. is slightly daunting. NOT HERE! I recently purchased a BMW X5 from this dealership. I had a very good experience right from the start - from the initial test drive to arriving at a price for the car and to delivery of the vehicle. The sales people I dealt with (Steven and Sean) were great to work with - they were knowledgeable, straight forward in all their dealings, and prompt in following up. Even after the car was delivered, they followed up to offer any help I needed.Overall, I would recommend this dealership and the sales people without any hesitation. Also, I got a pretty good deal on the price of the vehicle judging by the quotes folks are getting in the BMW forums.

So every time I call my service manager he just dont answer the call nor texting back my message? And my cars issue havent fix since last October(2020). I get it BMWs car will pop up errors and every time I go just using computer to correct (more like erase). So whatever I guess, you can go to Steven Creek one, to be honest.UPDATE:What follow up from your manage team? Dont just make it sounds good, how about do the work first.
Loving everything about the car we bought. I found the car online and was connected with Kevin. He was so helpful and nice through the entire process. We drove 4 hours to purchase the car and because of the positive experience we had I would purchase another car from them.
First time owning a bmw and heard alot of horror stories of going to the dealer for repairs but once I got there I met Brandon. He was very friendly and super helpful with all my needs for my car. I told him I needed my car back by specific time, he made suggestions of what I would be able to get done by that time. It all worked out I got my car back actually faster. My fear of coming to the dealer for repairs have been cured thanks to Brandon for his helpfulness and his honesty.

Making the appointment was easy with good follow-up reminders.Service advisor did a great job letting me know what was going to be done in about how long it would take.I do have one issue howeverAfter seeing the cashier the wait for my car was very long. I am sure part of that is because they wash it before returning it. The car came back wet (it didn’t seem like any attempt to dry it was made) which tends to leave water spots with my color paint. I would’ve much preferred to forgo the wash and have my car back sooner and thereby avoid traffic on 85.Suggestion: ask the customer if they want the car washed.

The service is fine but for $4000 worth of work I don’t understand why I didn’t get a free car wash and vacuuming before picking my car up. This is not the first time it’s happened it seems every time I go I have a service done some kind of excuse as to why I didn’t get that.

Relatively quick check-in process, polite and knowledgeable team running the service department. Pleasant and spacious waiting area. My vehicle was serviced and cleaned and ready to go in less time than anticipated. Overall, a very nice dealership and a pleasant experience.
I appreciate the responsive service provided to us. We were panic when we heard noise and our car was shut off, it is needed a total repaired -but now hopefully it is all good with $$$ spent.I will give 5 star if BMW was willing to take up an extra mile to provide full service i.e. car wash when our car was in service.The Customer journey experience would be great. I have been using BMW of Mountain View for service for two decades. Well organized - they get you in pretty quickly. Loaner cars are available. I like working with their service advisors. They are more expensive that local garage, but I feel that their expertise makes it worthwhile.
Considering the fact that this was my first time buying a car, I was understandably nervous and skeptical. Adam Xavier helped make the process smooth, simple, and easy. Not only did he make the process easy but he also took care of concerns I had regarding my new car at no extra cost. I am very thankful to him for truly taking care of his customers. Sales Person Kim Quach did a fabulous job inshowing the used BMW X1 that was purchased.She provided all the details of the vehicle and answered many questions in regards to the past service and history of this X1. I noticed this X1 on the BMW Mountain View website called and Kim got the X1 ready for showing right on the scheduled time.Took a quick test drive and decided to purchase.The X1 was clean and even detailed prior to drive off. The one price shopping process was right and the X1 showed well. None of the back and forth “negotiation”that usually starts with a inflated used car price by most car dealers. Finance Mgr Seyedhadi made the paperwork process quick and painless. Kim and Seyedhadi, thanks for the good service.
Except for the temporary absence of the man at the loaner desk, there was little waiting and everything seemed very efficient.
This is my first time to do business with BMW Mountain View. I ended up buying the 530e there. The dealership has the most inventory and selection in the Bay Area. I like the no hassle approach by the sales person with first initial G, which saves a lot of negotiation headaches while I still got the fair pricing. His services are also superb. I guessed I would come back for my next Bimmer.
Car was ready on time and the service rep (Wayne) was polite and very professional. The waiting area is very clean and spacious.
This dealership made an offer, which I accepted. They then realized they made a mistake and reduced the offer after it was signed, after they already reduced the offer for mechanical issues. They made mistakes on the paperwork and have yet to send my $ after I was done waiting for their corrections and reducing the offer. Horrible experience, never going to do business with this group again.

Excellent service! Adam Xavier is very friendly and professional salesman. He was very patient with me. He showed me the car That I want and he made sure the car is clean before taking it home. Even after I purchased the car he emailed and called me to check, making sure that I’m happy with the car and asked me if I need anything else and he is there to help me. Very satisfied with his customer service ethics. his really funny too 😀.Eric Peng also helped me. His very friendly and has really good ethics customer service. The finance department very helpful . He made it easier for me to process all paper work. The facikity is really clean, smells good and they have snacks for the customers while you waiting. Very poor customer service and wasted 2 hours of my day. Called and inquired about a vehicle on the lot that I planned on purchasing very early in the morning. Was told by the sales rep the car will be ready and on hold for a test drive at the time I have chosen in the afternoon. Mind you I live a little over an hour away, as soon as I get there I had to wait 10 minutes to get a hold of someone and inform them about my appointment and then shortly after everyone seemed to be confused when I brought up the car in question. Once they realized, I was told the car was sold. Very upset with the poor communication and service. The least they could have done was inform me through text/call that it was sold instead of letting me drive up over an hour to the dealership just to have my time wasted. Would not recommend
Terrible experience. Their finance people are sneaks and included $3k worth of maintenance contract based on deceiving cost and timeline projections. They were also happy to refund without saying how much and only refunded 50% before any maintenance was even done/needed (and took them 3 months too send a check!). They are not a real BMW dealership; merely a deficient Autonation dealer that doesnt have any direct line of communication with BMW North America, only Autonation corporate.
Overall experience was really good. Had exactly the car I was looking for. If looking to purchase a BMW ask for Steven Lee. He was really friendly and great to work with.
