We were towed to Mountain Home, ID with a drive line dropped on a Friday afternoon. On our vacation with a travel trailer. The part had to be ordered and would not arrive till Monday..Toni, the service writer, recommend a nice hotel to stay, and even gave us a ride.Derek, the ma mechanic, kept us updated with the progress. The part arrived at 1230 on Monday and we were on the road home by 130.I would give them ten stars if I could. Outstanding job !

We were on a road trip when our car abruptly started vibrating and making a strange noise. We couldnt determine what was making the noise, so we werent sure if it was even safe to drive. This Les Schwab was the closest shop we could find, and Im glad it was.The staff at the counter were very friendly and helpful, and they didnt even roll their eyes when I was trying to describe the noise it was making. ;-) Not only that, but they pulled it in and looked at it immediately. James (everybody calls him Jim) very quickly found some missing plastic fasteners under the car that were causing the problem. They were a very specific OEM only fastener that we had to pick up in Boise, but thanks to Jim I knew I would be safe driving my family there to pick some up. ALSO, since they didnt actually fix the car they didnt even charge us for the time-- even though they would have been totally justified to do.I would definitely recommend this shop!

Ive been there twice to get a flat repaired. They did a great job, EXCEPT, the tire was left way off balance when they put it back on. I went back to get it corrected they initially tried to charge me for a balance. I had to explain to them that it didnt do that until they fixed that tire. But in the end they corrected the problem and were very courteous the entire time. I am planning on buying new tires there soon. I only leave four stars because of the headache of having to come back to fix a new issue caused by them and then trying to charge me for it.

Went in to get nail in tire repaired. They checked out the vehicle, gave itemized list of recommended repairs (struts seeping) if I choose to have them do the work. They repaired tire (at no cost to me). Im impressed. Ill probably have them replace the struts, just to give them the business.

Another reason to buy your tires from Les Schwab.Sought out and stopped in unannounced to this Les Schwabs while travelling across country, 100 degrees out, with a full one ton truck and a 20 foot car hauler also fully LOADED with a car and household goods. I wanted to check air pressures on all my tires purchased 2 weeks prior at a Washington State Les Schwab. Inquired and got service completed, with a smile, within 15 minutes and even tho they appeared very busy. Thanks again!

Best tire service in Mountain Home, ID. No pressure from service techs. if they had seen something in the inspection they will tell you and let you decide what to do. I went to Commercial Tire before Les Schwab to fix my slow leak in one of my tires. Commercial Tire could not repair my flat because they said my tire had a stripped lug nut/stud and they could not take my tire off to fix my flat. And said if they broke the lug nut I will have to get a new wheel, axle, and stud and lug nut. Which is bogus because I drove it to Les Schwab and they replaced my stud, and lug nut and flat same day without any issues.

Jim is an exceptional employee. We had a nail in our tire and he not only patched and plugged the nail hole - changed the spare and mounted it on the car and re- installed the repair tire back under the car. He didnt even charge me for the 45 minute repair time. Awesome service!

Its Saturday afternoon I’m traveling from cascade Idaho to Yellowstone pulling a 38 foot trailer and I had a blowout. I was able to change the tire myself decided it wasn’t worth risking driving further on the original tires to this trailer. Google tire the swab came up only 6 miles away. Called him on the phone to make sure they had the tires they did they set everything up on the phone. Pulled in and I was like I was in a commercial, five guys came running out pulled all my tires off the trailer brand new tires double balanced put back on, I am on my way 35 minutes tops. And Matt looked like he was the poster child of Les Schwab, full uniform hair completely done perfectly, very courteous and well-versed in his business. Could not have been happier with the service.Thank you Les Schwab tire, thank you Matt!

2nd time here in a week (Monday). Jose and Noah helped the first time for flat repair I brought in. No drama getting the tire repair in an hour like Jose said.Saturday, I am the first person through the door once unlocked at 8 am. Checked in with Tammy, no issues. Needed to fix for leaking front driver side Les Schwab tire on my truck.Waited for 1 hr 24 minutes to get my truck from the parking lot to the shop. Other folks who showed up after me finished their transactions before me, hmmmmmm?Took another 20 minutes to fix the tire. While other walk in customers who showed up after me got to drive away.Be patient when having to wait in Mountain Home. Definitely not Boise or Meridian Schwab experiences. But still a Schwab fan.Joe, replying to your response. Not sure what else you need from me. You have my name and number to reach out. Service is people. If you feel the need to call me then you have adequate information to reach me considering the $$$$ I have spent with Schwab.

Best place in town to get stuff done on your vehicle! Love the new way to schedule in an appointment on the website. It’s pretty easy and it lists things that can be done for your car really easy

The only reason why I’m giving it a 5 star rating is because of the manager, AJ. We’re not from mountain home, we just pulled off the free way to get gas and it sounded like the brake pads were completely gone and our truck started shaking like crazy! We drove to les schwab around 430/440 and my husband went in and explained that it was kind of an emergency situation since we weren’t from the area. We possibly needed new break pads. An employee rudely said that they didn’t have the parts they needed to help us and to go some where else. Suggested O’Rileys and said just buy the parts and do it yourself. Never, have we ever been treated so poorly!! I called back as my husband drove to O’Rileys and asked to talk to the manager. Again, we’re not from around here, I’m a mother with three kids, one of which being a baby and this employee was ok with stranding us on the side of the road!! As I cried and explained the situation to him this manager AJ said he would find the parts and gladly fix it for us! Even though it was after 5, when they close. So then I cried because of how grateful we were!!! He found the problem rather quickly, we were missing a screw and a few were loose. That’s it. We will forever be grateful for AJ and his kindness in helping us!! He definitely needs a raise and a bonus for going completely out of his way to help us after closing hours!

I made an appointment online for winter tires. I showed up 15 minutes early they took the car right away and I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Very efficient.

This particular branch is amazing at their job. I had a tire blow out At mile marker 118 basically in the middle of nowhere this guy shows up within an hour of being called and changes my tire on my trailer within 20 minutes he was quick, professional and I highly recommend these people especially as a truck driver this is the kind of service you need to get you back on the road.

Bad service.Waited for more than an hour just to get a flat tire fixed.They let cars that came after me go first and left me waiting.

I just called for a quote on mounting and balancing 2 snow tires on rims I would bring. After a back and forth with the customer service clerk where I had to tell her that I knew what I was doing and I just needed the quote (she kept asking questions that were irrelevant to my inquiry, like what type of car and 2wd or 4wd?), she proceeded to quote me for $80. What!? For two tires and rims that I am providing? Thanks but no thanks. I ended up going elsewhere where I was taught how to do it and was only charged $25 for everything.

Your employees are awsome I am on a low income due to chemo treatments I came in to get a quote and was quoted over 1000 dollars for 4 tires i want to give my buisness there but I just cant afford the price. My low tire pressure light came on while on the freeway, on my birthday, while we were on our way to go camping. We stopped in Mountain Home to put air in the tires, and the light was still on. So we went down to Les Schwab, I pulled up to the garage, and the guy working, I cant remember his name, was such a great help! He let me know that there was too much air in my tires, and he released the excess air, which made the light go off. He was very friendly and quick. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone!

Very busy & stays busy though the entire day, if their were more bays an staff, it would of been a better review (everyone knows i almost never give a 5 star), 4 star is a great rating, tho I tend to rate by performance or helpfulness of a store if products are not made at the store... Tho i gave the store an opertunity to be helpful, they did offer to air my tire before leaving, as a walk in waitin to get a tire taken off the rig, take a nail out and patch, then put the tire back on, would of only tooken a half hour, waiting for a hour or more, decided, id be better off to find another tire store... UgH

I lost part of my tire on the freeway while I had my 5 month old daughter with me. They rushed us in even though they were busy so we wouldnt have to wait. Would definitely recommend this place.

The folks at the Mountain Home Les Schwab store are always polite, professional and prompt. The techs spend the time asking for details to help determine what your problem might be. While it may not be fun to have to deal with a tire issue, you can be assured this store will take excellent care of you and your auto issues.

Between not haveing my appointment scheduled and parts not being orderd when they initially said yhey were.They got the parts situation figured out and got my brakes done had to wait an extra day but pleased with how my situation was handled

Woke up to a flat from over the weekend, I expected to pay $160 for a new tire. Told me they found the nail in the old one and patched it up for me free of charge!! Never once in all my time dealing with mechanics have I ever had such good service. I understand why on their door it says #1 for customer service! I will be going to them from now on for all my tire needs!

These guys took great care of me today. I had a nail in my tire. These guys got it out and patched the tire really fast. They thanked me for being a loyal customer and didn’t charge me a dime for the fix. I won’t go anywhere else for tires.

I needed solid tires for my stroller, they where able to put 4 solid tires on. I was able to pick it up and now I can take it for a run and not worry.

During my lunch break, I realized I had a flat tire, so right after work I rushed over hoping that someone would just look at my tire. Since i was there, I asked the guys to check my alignment. They quickly found that I had run over a nail and fixed my flat tire; then, they came back and told there was a problem with the alignment and asked if they could fix it. It was amazing because they were completely upfront about the price and what was wrong with the alignment. The guy working on my car stayed after store hours to fix my car. I have to say this was the best customer service that I have ever had.

They were great! We were on a road trip when our car started making noises. They were able to look at our car right away and fix the problem within an hour of us arriving. They were friendly and seemed to know what they were doing.

Three tires changed on the side of the road it was a very dangerous job at night. I hope the tech was getting overtime he arrived after five and worked for several hours.

I recently bought four brand new wheels and tires and took them in to Les Schwab to have them mounted and balanced only. They said it would be $220! I was also told that since we did not make our purchase through them they could not guarantee they would do a good job not scratching my wheels.I called Walmart Tire Center down the street and they charged $100 to do the same job. Les Schwab over charges their customers. I would not recommend going to them unless you have no other choice.

I been a customer for over 20 years with these shop. They always have come through to take care of my personal and companies vehicles tires services. There customer service is excellent. We are traveling back to Colorado and our trailer tires blew, spare and the one on there. We went there and purchased two tires and had them mount one of them. They gave us the wrong size, they wouldnt come out to Glenns Ferry to just help us there, its somewhat understandable. They wouldnt help us much even while we were there. They were rude, it seemed like they cared more about the money then their customers. One of the employees made a comment saying Well at least you paid for the right tires. Yeah great, could you have done the job right the first time and given us the tires we need? We spent an extra because they didnt want to help, they said sorry but didnt mean it. Also they women bathroom wasnt clean and it was plugged. Now I love Les Schwab, the one in Meridian has gone above and beyond, so going to these guys and having them not care is very disappointed in this branch. The one in Meridian has driven to my house to drop off a battery, they wouldnt help out travelers going home. Sorry but that is just horrible customer service and I wouldnt recommend having any travelers stop there for help.

Outstanding! Pulled up with flat tire in trunk and spare doughnut on car. They came out immediately and pulled it in. Not only did they fix it for FREE, they even put the spare back in the original position and secured it. Excellent!!

Always very helpful and impressive. They go above and beyond to inspect and even repair things when they can even if its not normally part of the job. They always provide rides and help pick up vehicles and never seem to have any issues or problems with anything. Unlike a lot of dealer service shops. I would rather have Les Schwab do repairs on my vehicles than most dealerships.

I used these guys for a service call, there fore thought saved me money. The service tech Daniel was extremely quick, polite and very professional. Highly recommend these guys for anything.

Had a small wait to get to me in the line, but once they started evaluating my vehicle the job was done in no time at all and the employees were very accommodating.

Staff is nice, mechanics are good, popcorn is fresh. They worked with us on payments and saved our behinds when our car broke down. Please stop playing fox news on your TV. Four hours of that is enough to make even the strongest person jump in front of a moving car.

Les Schwab is hands down the best tire center chain! And the one in Mountain Home is near the top of them all. Great customer service, genuine caring attitudes. And if the make a mistake they own up to it and fix the problem!! Nate and Mark are two of the highly professional and knowledgeable folks that work there. I highly recommend this tire center. Their desire is to take care if the customer, not sell tires or brakes.

Where the service is good. I cant fathom giving 5 stars to a company that charges $15.50 to balance a tire when i buying the tire from them. It takes approximately 2 mins to balance a tire if that. I could understand it if i didnt buy the tire from you.

We stopped here desperate with 2 flats as we hit debris on the Highway! With only one spare and 1 flat, we hoped to get help here, which we did. We arrived just before closing on a Wednesday afternoon and the people promptly offered to take the vehicle in and fix both tires and get us on our way. Within 30 minutes and 2 techs on it, we were ready to go. Their service was fast, super friendly and FREE!! Thank you for being so generous!

I drove from Barstow CA to Mountain Home ID. 40 miles from my destination my right rear tire tread separated. I pulled over at exit 125 west bound on I-84. I called Les Schwab they found me the best priced tire for a replacement, set up a road call that arrived within the hour as promised. Matt, the service tech was very nice and professional, he had us back on the road 25 minutes later. I’m the fleet manager of a trucking company and 15 year heavy truck mechanic. I knew the tire would need balancing so when I got to Mt. Home Les Schwab I expected to be charged for the balance. They not only balanced it for free, they had me done in less than 20 minutes. I didn’t have time to finish my complimentary coffee. Thank you everyone at this location; on a road trip where I had multiple other “bad luck” issues you helped make this one whole lot less unpleasant.

We were traveling to Washington and had a flat about 15 miles south of Mountain Home. We limped in on an almost flat spare and got there 2 minutes before 6:00.I was so impressed by how courteous we were treated by everyone despite the fact we wanted 2 new tires put on our car at the late hour.Thank you Les Schwab .Marilyn A.

Pretty darn simple.Les Schwab couldnt quite pull off it off. They didnt do what they said they would do. When I asked about the oversight as I picked up my truck, they were friendly and told me to come back and they would make it right. I brought my truck back and they still didnt do what they told me they would the first time.
