Recently my girlfriend and I took her car in because the vehicle was jumping and making a grinding noise when it was being driven. They hooked it up to the diagnostics machine and came back and said it was the brakes and rotors. We paid to have this fixed, and this did not fix the problem. My girlfriend took it back and let the service manager take a look for them to say we needed to replace the other brakes and rotors as well as the spark plugs all of which would cost an additional $1,400. We ended up taking it to another shop when we felt like they were not willing to help resolve their mistake. Good thing we did because they failed to tell us two fuel injectors were bad and there was a gas leak. Which is a fire hazard!!!

We traveled out of town over a holiday weekend, and the A/C stopped working. This shop is clean, comfortable, and has honest, hard working employees.They found the problem, got the replacement part, and got everything up and running again.I definitely appreciate the extra effort, as they kept the shop open longer to make sure we were taken care of.Excellent customer service, and refreshing transparency.

We were traveling through Mountain Home on our way to Memphis on a Saturday when our brakes started to act funny. No other repair shops in the area were open. The owner, Lee, quickly diagnosed the problem, gave us a detailed estimate, and proceeded with the repair. The shop is immaculate and the service professional and friendly. I would definitely come back for other repairs.

I came in from out of state to purchase a car from a local seller. Lee at Elite auto took care of this for me personally and couldnt have been more helpful. His price for the inspection was also better than competitors in town.

Stopped in to get appointment to look at brakes and they took my truck in on the spot. After performing a check they were honest and stated that the brakes were still good. The service pro located a bulb out on the cablight and promptly repaired issue. Highly recommend this shop for cost, honesty, and professionalism.

I had my spark plugs and filter changed. They did a fantastic job and kept to the quoted price. He didnt try to sell me more than i needed. I felt very comfortable and my car is running very smoothly. I will be going back to have my oil changed there from now on. Really great place

Very professional. My original appointment was rescheduled due to the snow storm we had. Elite Automotive came to my work site picked up my car which worked out great for me. They kept me updated on the progress and did a great job, reasonable prices and I highly recommend them. I have a BMW 320i and Elite has the knowledge and expertise to work on these vehicles.

I cannot say enough good about our experience here today. We didn’t have an appointment, but they got us in anyway. They were open well past their posted hours to fish the job and take care of others.They called to tell us we needed a new part and then, after approving, they found what they were looking for and no longer needed to replace it - SO THEY DIDN’T.I’ve dealt with some shady mechanics and this is NOT one of them. We will be taking all our business here from now on.

1st Class Service!!! Wifes car was making a scraping noise turning left, called & made an appointment. I was not able to drop it off so they picked it up for free!! I had an appointment with them almost 2 weeks out and when I got there they didnt even have my part. Dont think they even ordered it actually. Said they did but they did but.... I went to Minute Mechanic and I was out of there and no time. Elite didnt even put my car on the metre and turned out I didnt even need the part that I thought I did!

Awesome awesome awesome job by these guys. We were in from out of town for a funeral and are breaks started acting up on the way down. We couldnt wait for them to get done because of needing to be at the funeral so they let us leave are car there and pick it up after. These amazing gentleman had it finished and running brand new again once we got back.

I stopped In to see if they could help me out since I was from out of town, and didn’t know how bad my transmission issue was. I was told they were booked solid, but checked to see if they could at least run a diagnostic on my check engine light. Lee, the owner, had me pull up, and he promptly checked everything, filled a fluid level that was low, wrote out the trouble codes, and didn’t let me pay a dime. The service at this place was above and beyond what I had hoped for. I would recommend them to anyone now, and will use them again if I ever need anything else done to any of my vehicles.

Elite automotive is fantastic. I actually live in Atlanta and I save all my car issues (that can wait) for elite when I come to visit my family in mountain home. They are extremely professional, fast and financially fair. Their prices are fantastic. But the most important is the quality of work, I’m very particular about my vehicle as it has extremely high miles. I do not let anyone else touch it. They have done around 4 jobs for me (roughly) and I have yet to have a single complaint.HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Elite Automotive business is a top notch automotive service business. Went there with a front wheel bearing going out and was shown some other concerns that would need attention in the future. As all the cards were put on the table I decided to get everything done at this time. So my 4 x 4 is good for another200,000 miles. No pressure at all and completely happy with their service as well as warranty. Glad I dropped by and highly recommended them to anyone who is needing repairs on their vehicles. My family was in a bind with no security key to our lugnuts. Keep in mind we are 3 hours from home.. I Went to several places and was turned away quite rudely. I arrive here and the gentleman (owner im assuming) took care of our problem with zero hesitation and even provided me with coffee. Amazing customer service and speed! 5 stars is not enough to show the gratitude my family has!!

I called Elite on Monday and asked about an oil change for my car, and was given the information and a price. Based on this I made an appointment for Wednesday, and the oil change was performed without a problem. When the service was completed and I was handed the bill, it was for $20.00 more that the price quoted. The reason given was because the mechanic made the decision to use a synthetic oil. When asked why I was not told, or asked since I was in the waiting room the entire time? No response was given.Dishonest. I will not return.

Highly recommend this place!! My wife and boys were in Mountain Home from California due to my mother-in-law being terminally ill. The check engine light came on on our last day in town. I took it in to Elite Automotive and the owner Lee and Tim got me squared away in less than an hour. The incorrect speed gear ratio code was due to low transmission fluid and they topped me off free of charge. Seriously, I cant stress to you enough how much of a lifesaver they are. They allowed us to get back on the road and back to my permanent duty station on time. I am active duty Navy and the owner is a retired Air Force vet. I can vouch for him and can tell you with 100% certainty that this place is the real deal. Solid, honest, and hardworking people! Five stars!!

More than on time; sooner than I expected. $513 for a diagnosis, labour for spark plugs--must places wont install customer bought parts in my experience. Ignition coil. 4 other coils, abs sensor that great escapes broke for me. Hearing my car start up after you guys dealt with it--I can tell from just starting the car, youve fixed something that probably started a year or more ago. Sounds like it did the day I bought it. $513 isnt bad at all for these results. At first I didnt have enough money and I asked if I could just store my car there until I have money they had no problem. Didnt say anything about any fees for that, just that they would hold it for me. Thats great, knowing some of us dont make too much. Thanks guys.

I LOVE this place. Ive never had a bad experience. Quick, efficient work, theyve always squeezed me in within a couple of days and their prices cant be beat. Very nice family. They even stayed until 8pm one night to finish my car before I had to drive it out of town just for my peace of mind. Highly recommend!! They also do tires, oil changes, etc. Ill never use anyone else.

Took our truck in for a front end alignment and the mechanic found several more problems that could have been very dangerous. He showed us all the problems, we took it back in and they fixed everything so we arent driving a ticking time bomb anymore! I highly recommend Elite Automotive! They sure know what theyre doing!

Highly recommend this repair shop. Our RV broke down as we were passing through the area. The owner could not have been nicer and more accommodating. He diagnosed the issue as quickly as possible and ordered the part. As we had to stay overnight he recommended a car rental agency and drove us to get the car. His shop is clean and well run and customer service is exceptional.

I found the staff at elite automotive repair to be Plight, Patient, informative, and well-versed in the craft of automotive repair. I felt very involved in the process of my cars repair. There waiting area was clean, and the few times I saw the work area where my car was on lift was also clean. They were professional and open to a teamwork approach with me to repair my car. I would recommend them to friends and family!

I was in town on a work trip and my Jeep broke down. AAA hauled it to Elite Automotive Repair and they fixed me up within a few hours. They were very friendly, thorough, and professional. I had never intended to seek an auto repair shop in Mountain Home, but they really bailed me out of a tough spot. I would highly recommend this place based on my experience.

For having my car break down 14 hours away from home, this was an unbelievably smooth and easy experience. I went from thinking I was going to be stuck for at least a day or two, to being back on the road in a few hours. GREAT service! Took a little longer than i had hoped for but in no way was it their fault. To my benefit they made sure EVERYTHING was fixed and stayed hours later the day before thanksgiving to make sure i had my car. My prior mechanic missed several things that needed to be replaced and elite found and fixed them. Lee took the time to explain what was wrong and make sure even my tires were rotated to make it home safe. THANKS guys!!!

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND REPAIR....Our youth were traveling to a summer camp when problems developed on our 45 passenger bus. Somehow we were led to Elite Automotive Repair and to Lee, the owner. How very blessed we were. Not only did Lee and his staff go over and above to repair all problems and get them back on the road safely, but they also did it in record time, working after hours and in what I consider under budget!! Our conversations, explanations of repair needs and estimates were handled in the most professional and kind manner I have encountered. My only regret is that this business is not located closer to where we live. Excellent service!!! Lee and his staff have preformed maintenance on our vehicles 4 times. He has done everything from a break job to an engine change for us. He has always quoted us prices that beat the local competition and his work is excellent. He guarantees his work. I was also very impressed at how organized and clean his shop is kept. I have grown acustomed to seeing piles of junk, trash, rags, and scrap parts lying on the floor in many of the other local shops around town. Not so at Elite. Everything is very clean and organized. You can really see the pride they take in their business. What really impresses me is how honest they are and how good of people they are. On the last appointment when I came to pick up my truck he told me that the work did not take as long as he thought it would so he actually dropped the price of labor for me. Several tasks of the job at hand only took 20 minutes instead of the hour he had estimated so he only charged me for the 20 minutes instead of the whole hour. You just do not find that kind of honesty anymore. This is without a doubt the best place to take your vehicle in the twin lakes area. As long as Elite Automotive is around they will get my business!

I would NOT recommend this place! In fact Im going out of my way to tell everyone NOT to go there. Not only was the price he quoted ridiculously high he charged her $60 for nothing.The owner was so rude not just to my mother but to the elderly lady in front of her and another man. He was even rude to one of his workers in front of a lobby full of people. He must be used to his attitude since he just rolled his eyes shook his head and went on.Im shocked he still has business as expensive and horribly nasty as he is!

Lee was recommended to me by my brother - and I have never needed to mechanic-hunt since. He has worked on my Jeep several times and has always been professional, fair and as timely as humanly possible. It is obvious that he is passionate and knowledgable about his work. He goes out of his way to find me what I need through various connections at the best prices he can find. He has taken time to sit and show me part prices, explain to me the various auto troubles I have had and has always done his best to save me money. He does good work and I trust his team as much as him. Elite has earned my trust and respect and I believe they earn every penny I give them. I dont need to go anywhere else because I know I am in good hands.

If I could give a 0 star review, I would. They kept my car for a week, supposed to fix an exhaust leak, and my catalytic converters. They simply welded a place on my exhaust and cleared the codes. They didn’t even as much as take the heat shield off. So while I was without a vehicle for a week, waiting on “parts” they had ordered. I soon learned that more damage had been done then repaired.

Was having a flat on wife’s car and no one in town was fixing flats on Saturday afternoon, not Wal Mart, no one. Accidentally found this place and they fixed the tire after their closing hours and got us going. I can’t say enough good about them. Before I left they agreed to put new brakes on another car so those people could get back home some 3 1/2 hours away.

Our van’s transmission went out and these guys not only helped us get it to their shop but also found out the part was still under warranty and sent us to the dealership to get it fixed. They could’ve made a bunch of money on us but helped us out in a time of need. Whenever I’m in Arkansas with an auto need I’ll be coming straight to Elite Auto Repair.

While on vacation, Visting Bull Shoals Lake, I return to my car with red fluid leaking out. My heart sank because I just knew it had to be the transmission and we needed to return home in two days. I called Elite and spoke with Lee, who was very understanding but was sure to be clear in what a reasonable timeline of repair would be. Let me say I also drive a VW, which can be very finicky cars to work on and was also comforted by hearing he had 20 years experience aboard in the field. Needless to say it ended up being coolant, which he predicted over the phone and he made my car a priority in getting parts ordered and in within a day and half’s time. Before ANY work began I received a phone call and given very detailed information on the estimate of work. Nothing about the price or labor seemed out of line, especially for the crunched timeline he was working under for us. Lee and his wife exceeded any expectation I had and made a terrible situation not feel so awful. I am grateful and highly recommend.
