I went to 3 mechanics (was traveling too fast for parts to get in) over a popping issue with my car while driving cross country. Tri-county had the fairest price and the friendliest staff. They even took the effort to call around to check prices on the same item but different suppliers, would have saved me $200 but it turned out my car had a completely different issue. They walked me through everything and was honestly the best experience Ive had with at a mechanic.

Was on a road trip. A few miles out of town, a crack open up in the radiator. They were incredibly busy, but offered a slot that same day. Got the issue diagnosed and repaired in a few hours. Can not express how grateful I am for this place

We live in our RV full-time and arrived in Mountain Home with a battery problem. Our house batteries were....and still are, dead! With COVID supply chain problems we havent been able to find replacements. Bill happened by our RV on his way to another appointment. He kindly stopped by our coach after he finished up his other appointment and found the batteries we needed!...at a reasonable price too! He ordered a second battery and promised to replace both batteries the following day.Unfortunately, (shame on his supplier!!) when he went to pick up the batteries the next morning, the supplier had sold one of the batteries to someone else. I was standing next to him when the supplier PROMISED those batteries the next day, so KNOW without doubt that they were in stock and promised to us/Bill!Bill spent considerable time trying to find a work-around, but was unable to find a second battery anywhere in Mountain Home. Unfortunately our schedule required us to leave, so he was unable to finish the job. I wish we had been able to stay to have Bill finish the job as he put so much time and energy into our needs. And, Id like to suggest that the supplier, (Bill was too classy to give me their name), owes Bill the $550 he lost because they didnt honor their commitment to him....and to us.

When I got my car towed to there shop the Mechanics were really nice. they were able to find a problem with my car really fast apparently I need to check my battery more often. I my battery died. They even check all my fluids in my car before sending me on my way I will definitely be going back to them for any more car repairs or problems with my car.

Driving from Chicago to the Portland area, my car overheated in Idaho. I was stranded in 100 degree weather and totally desperate, 500 miles from my destination. Jason came to my rescue with his fine son Colton. They took my car to his shop after dropping me off at a hotel in Mountain Home. The technicians repaired my car and I was able to pick it up the next day! I told Jason that he is truly serving his fellow man with his towing service and repair business. I pray that God will continue to bless his businesses!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The owner Jason is a wanabee tuff guy who has no idea how too run his Shop, run his shitbox tow truck, or sadly even make a car run at all. Only thing hes good at running is his mouth. Small town ignorant loyalty is the only reason this toolbag tuff guy has cars to try and repair. Take Care you chump guy.

My truck broke down on the highway with a failed fuel pump. They squeezed me in and had my truck repaired the same day. And they were already very busy. I highly recommend them!

Amazing guys who came out and helped move a large 1500lbs safe. Did amazing work and zero damage to the safe. Their equipment was clean and everything they did was with the thought of the customer in mind! They have an amazing service and though I am moving out of state I hope I can find another tow company even as close to the customer service and professionalism that these gents hand!

They are a very busy shop, but they still took time to look at my RV generator, and found it didnt need repair (I just messed some education). They were nice enough to send me on my way with no charge!

My tire literally broke off car on the interstate. I still had to drive all the way to Fargo. These guys towed me to their shop, got me back on the road in 2 hrs. Very honest and straight forward. Made it home with no issues. These guys and staff are amazing!!!

We have taken our vehicles to TriCounty several times. They provide professional and honest service. On two occasions our van was having issues and the problem wasnt readily apparent. AWESOME!!! I called because I had a flat tire on my car trailer. He said they could fix it if I got there before they closed. It was close so I told them I would try my best. I showed up they had a tech with a jack and the tools standing at the garage door. Popped it off and within 10 minutes I was back on the road. Way better service than the big national store. They are solid.

Awesome place to take your vehicle for any issues or maintenance. Karl is very knowledgeable and was able to correctly troubleshoot an oil leak and saved me hundreds compared to the other quotes from shops in the area. Jason was very professional and hooked me up with an awesome deal on new tires. During the same visit Tri-County was able to tackle some front end work and my 2003 Ford F-250 has never driven better. Jason even took the time out of his day to check in and ensure I was happy to with repairs.

We had a tire blowout on the highway and needed or RV looked at to make sure it was ship shape. They week really nice and didnt even charge us when everything checked out.

This is a high praise for Mike on the Towing side. We were stranded on US-20 2 Miles East of I-84 in Mountain Home and once we called AAA, he was there within 30 minutes and drove us 66 miles to our home in Star.He was outgoing, informative and extremely professional.AAA should put these guys on the top of the list if not there already!Thanks Mike!

Fast, affordable, honest, fair, kind - what more could one ask for? So lucky we found them! About 10 miles from Mountain Home car started making a terrible noise, we googled mechanics, this one felt right. When we arrived the gentlemen at the counter apologetically said they were about a week out. But something told him he should look at our car despite how busy they were. He said it would be very unlikely they would be able to finish that day (about 3:00). They offered us a ride to a restaurant. Despite all this, in just over 2 hours they had our car done and we were on the road. I should note the mechanic state a little bit after closing to finish. The price was so affordable (especially for how fast) I questioned that it was right.

Memorial Day 2020. I loaded up my 30 camper, family of 6 and three dogs in Featherville, Idaho for the drive down the mountain to Meridian. As soon as I started my Suburban I learned that the power steering pump had failed and my brakes barely worked. We limped into Pine.As luck would have it, Jason was in town near the propane filling station at Nitz and he was on the phone in no time. Mike put his holiday and family on hold to come to our rescue, not only retrieving the Burb, but also the 30 bunkhouse... Truly an impressive sight. Mike probably isnt aware, but we caught up to him at the intersection of HWY 20 and the Fairfield turn off. I watched him pull the trailer back on to the highway with experienced precision and care. It is greatly appreciated because my camper rides lower than most, so its belly is annoyingly vulnerable.I was on the phone with the repair shop at 8:30 the following morning and the diagnosis was a broken shaft in my power steering pump. Bill had the repair finnished before 2!The entire staff and their families have been extremely helpful throughout this inconvenience. I will work with them again in the future and I recommend their services to everyone that may need an honest shop, experienced mechanics and genuinely helpful service with excellent rates.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, installed a FASS pump on my truck and had it completed well within the time frame I needed it to be done. Even centered my axle for free! I would defiantly recommend them. Fair prices and courteous staff made my experience very pleasant!

This man and his full crew were extremely instrumental in getting my guys spray engine back up and in full running operational order. Not my first call for help. They competently retrieved I and my Goldwing when I had a flat tire on the interstate. Quick response with everything to do the job right. Those time around I had to replace a TPMS sensor before vacation travel. In and out in 20 mins with my mind at ease. Very professionally serviced.

The water pump on the 3126 Cat in our motorhome started leaking while traveling to Oklahoma. Tri-County was able to get a replacement pump the next afternoon and had us on the road by 6:00 that evening. We now have over 1000 miles on the new pump with no leaks.We highly recommend these people for your repairs. They were professional, communicated the progress and got us back on the road as soon as possible.

I locked my keys in the car in the hospital parking lot late at night. I called and they had someone there within 15 minutes. They were super nice and very professional while still treating you like a friend. I highly recommend Tri-County towing.

We were 40 hours from home and our truck starting stalling out on the highway, we stopped at a gas station and were given the phone number for tri county. We called and went there and got in right away. Very friendly staff! We were told it was going to cost over 1,000 to fix the problem. We explained we are on our way back home and dont have a lot of extra cash. They went above and beyond, got a used part, put it on and only charged us $75.00. Best part, it made us home and truck is still running! I would recommend this place to anyone! We would have been stranded if it wasnt for them. Thank you!

My wife was traveling to Bozeman with our two young boys when she discovered steam coming out from under the hood while filling up in Mountain Home. She called me and I quickly googled auto shops close by and called Tri County Repair. Mike answered and assured me they would be able to help right away. Had a flat tire in our motorhome on a holiday called Tri-County Repair, they were very courteous, very prompt, had my spare tire on the inner dual of my motorhome and had me on the road promptly. I was very impressed with this company.

Im giving 2 stars because least they had work ethic, and got me in when I broke down. Having said that, they didnt diagnose the problem correctly, or not the entire problem, it cost me $600 for catalytic converters to be welded in, and I still couldnt drive home because that wasnt the problem! It was my distributor! Which my local shop diagnosed within an hour. $600 for exhaust leaks doesnt feel like a good deal to me. If I lived in Mountain Home, I would NEVER use this shop again.

I am so impressed by the service I received from Tri-County Repair. Their service was fast, reasonable, and the owner of the company is very compassionate. Scared and stranded alone with my four little boys, he sent over one of his mechanics who helped me and had me on my way within 30 minutes.
