The customer service provided by Norman was excellent. He was knowledgeable, professional and courtesy with every step of the process. Changing to a new phone can be a laborious and somewhat daunting task however he patiently and thoroughly answered all of my questions. I love my new phone and am grateful for the positive store experience. Ill be a return customer for sure!
I would drive anywhere else before coming here, Boone is light years beyond this poorly staffed location. Severe lack of respect, attention, and service. Common sense and listening skills apparently aren’t necessary for their staff.
We had an issue setting up our new phone. We’re told upon purchase/set up it would be as simple as switching out the SIM cards. When we received the phone it was locked as if we were sent a previously used phone. We called Apple & ATT who instructed us to go back to the store. The staff were friendly up front but when I asked to speak to the manager, Norman he was not helpful, had a condescending nature, & even suggested we go pay “geek squad” to fix our issue. No one even looked into our account in this store or offered any in store solutions. I was so mad by the time I left that we are switching mobile providers. I have been a customer of AT&T for 7 years and this is the worst experience I have ever had. If you want to upgrade or start a contract with att, go to the hickory store. We currently have 6 lines & 4 of the phones are not working or having issues. We have had them one week.
The management in this store is rude and not helpful at all. He is condescending and couldn’t care less about the customer. Verizon on the other side was wonderful and got us set right up.
Staff was knowledgeable courteous and efficient. I waited 5 to 10 minutes for help. The staff person was able to understand my needs and resolve my issues quickly.

I traded in my iPhone XS, to get the iPhone 13 pro. The lady gave me the wrong phone and it was the iPhone 13. I called and asked about it and they said I would have to pay again if I wanted the other one that I was supposed to get instead of refunding me for what I had already spent.

Very nice in store. Had issues with delivery. Was shipped to Morganton store but apparently it was never accounted for. Didnt wont to resolve the issue so very bad experience on that part.
I hate to use the cliché that I would give this store 0 stars if possible, but I would. My girlfriend and I attempted to open a new line on her account for me after she received a text offering a discounted rate on a new line. It turned out that she was ineligible due to her plan being outdated. Norman, the Store Manager at this location, neglected to spot there would be an issue and set us up anyway, assuring us multiple times throughout the process that there would be no issues. There were issues and after my girlfriends phone was spontaneously disconnected that evening, we spent a combined 6 hours on the phone with customer service as well as dealing with Normans subordinates, in an attempt to fix the issue. On the day of this posting, I went back to talk to Norman and try to come to some agreement about compensation and to merely inform him of his error. He avoided all opportunities to take responsibility or even admit fault. I was told, out of the kindness of his heart, he would offer me a $50 credit on my account hed received from a phone trade in. It was hardly enough to compensate for my trouble or the financial burden I would incur if I kept the service and paid the bill without the discount hed assured me I would get in the first place. I was told my money could not be refunded, given a number to talk to another store about my problem, a half-hearted apology and a crummy feeling that no new AT&T customer should have to feel. Everyone I spoke during this process, including the customer service representatives over the phone all agreed that all of this was due to Normans negligence. Everyone saw the error fell squarely on Norman, the Store Managers, shoulders...except for Norman. Being the store manager, Norman should have known there would be problems with the plan in the first place. He should have admitted his mistake afterwards and done everything possible to retain my business. He failed on all fronts. People like Norman make retail shopping increasingly unpleasant and the online experience ever more attractive. I will be cancelling my service with AT&T and discouraging everyone I know from dealing with this store, Norman or any other AT&T representative. This sort of treatment toward a paying customer is unacceptable. Avoid at all costs. This stores manager, Norman, is full of dishonesty but running dangerously low on accountability.
I switched phone companies in April 2020. The main reason I did was because they had a promo for a $700 trade-in value for my phone. Otherwise, I would not have made the switch since my phone was paid off. Well, here we are 5 billing cycles later and I have yet to see the credit on my phone. When I call the main customer service number, they act like they have no idea what Im talking about. When I go to the store, which is always at least an hour out of my day off, they say theyll look into it and fix it...but never do. I regret the day I switched and at this point, Im thinking of going somewhere else and letting them sue me for the phone that should basically almost be paid off anyway since they owe me $700 for the phone they sold me. VERY disappointed and upset that companies are allowed to be run like this. If I could give them negative stars I would. Get your act together AT&T. This kind of business is ridiculous.

A couple people in line and everyone was busy but overall it was good they helped me with everything Jose gave me a nice discount on a case and car charger. Very knowledgeable staff, friendly and everything good only bad thing it took a little longer because their system was slow. Would be nice if they have a kiosk or more people.

I have had nothing but great customer service at this location in my last few visits after I stopped coming because of a bad experience with people that don’t even work here anymore. I have visited multiple times recently and the wait was minimal. I felt the manager who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. I give them 5 stars for excellent customer service and seeing smiles on their faces. Over the last couple years this store has went from bad to worse. I went in yesterday looking for a new phone and no one was in the store. The guy acted like i was bothering him with my questions and told me to come back tomorrow when the manager was working. I will not be back to the Morganton store It’s a shame I have to drive to the Hickory store to get basic questions answered before making an expensive purchase.

Tim helped me at the AT&T that has been placed under new management within the past 6 months. I came in to fix an issue that was created over a year ago. Tim worked diligently until the issue was resolved. I was not told “you’ll have to call the main office”! It’s so nice to speak to a real person!
The Manager Jose helped me fix my bill since the guy who sold me my smartphone lied to me about my monthly payment but today I was told that he no longer work in this location ! thanks God!. The Manager was honest with me, offered me options, and gave me an excellent service. Very happy with Jose and the Staff seems to be very friendly. Thanks and will definitely go back.
I cant recall ever having a bad experience at this location. All of my visits to the store are always good, Joseh is very friendly and will not let you leave unless have had all of your questions answered. Great store and great staff.

I went to trade my phone in. They charged my card for the remaining balance of the card and dis not look at my phone till after to tell me I cant trade it in unless I pay 140 also. The manager wanted to tell me I will have to call the bank and cancel the payment. But the bank is closed at this point. Then they refund me and tell me my money is back in my account. I go and check my account and the money is not, so I call them back and they tell me it will take 3 to 5 business days. All because theyre coworkers dont know what they are doing.

This store was great! The new management staff here was extremely helpful. I visited the store and spoke with Jose to begin with who helped me get my iPhone up to date. I returned later to the store and spoke with Matt who updated my email and helped me get logged in. Matt answered a sheet full of questions and even talked with me about a few phones and accessories. I have never been treated as kindly as I was in the Morganton store. I will continue to do business in this store in the future and will gladly recommend anyone looking for help or service to the AT&T store in Morganton.

Absolutely awful customer service for their internet service they offer. Its taken them 3 months to TRY and correct an issue where were being billed for a service we no longer have and were being billed 3 times what we agreed to pay. We have them because we have no choice and they know that so I truly feel like they know they can take advantage of us.. buyer beware. If charter is available.. go with them.

The staff blatantly ignore you while they guy talks about his personal business with another customer. That is rude, disrespectful, and incompetent. Don’t waste your time here. I came to get info and give them my business but it was more important for him to promote his personal business than talking about at&t services. If I could deduct stars, I would.
This people are great, they dont make you feel stupid. I brought my old phone and Jose got everything transferred for me and helped me to fix my email password. They also helped me to get universe TV because DirecTV went up on me and this deal is a lot better. Thanks guys.

Three out of five simply because the staff were professional and helpful. I didnt aquire my new cell service here because the honestly didnt have the phone I was looking for and the fact that their plans were higher than anywhere else I had been. But they answered my questions to my satisfaction and were a pleasure to deal with.

Employees really need to learn what they are swlling and stipulations as to what they sell. I was informed a screen protector was covered with a lifetime warranty and would even pay if my screen was damaged while using this screen protector. All I had to do was register the screen protector online and if damaged bring it into store and it would be replaced for 5$ however that was not true. I paid 55$ for the protection I was offered instead you have to go online and pay shipping which cheapest took 2-4 weeks for 15 $ and overnight was 45$ once I approached the manager once my screen protector was damaged an employee took the screen protector off and broke it in half and got loud and disrespectful towards me yelling they were not responsible and were not going to replace it because you had to do it online. I spoke to manager that did make it right but even when talking to manager the employee was still yelling and being disrespectful and saying inappropriate things as well as lying saying he did not break it and even the manager saw and said he saw him break it in half. Very poor people skills and will visit another store for anymore needs I may have will NOT RETURN TO THIS STORE FOR NO REASON !!

The new team in the Morganton ATT are awsome. Tim is the only one left from the last group and I know why Tim is the best and helps explain everything to where you can understand. As long as this group stays I will continue to do my business in person vs over the phone
I moved my phones from sprint to att. I had an issue with the new phones ordered at the att store. The manager of the Morganton store, Jose, personally got in charge of the situation and worked hours in my case until finally got a solution. That is the perfect example of great customer service, wow service (way over wonderful). We bought 4 phones cases screen protectors everything we needed, he helped us since day 1. We personally want to let ATT know what a great employee u have and should be proud of him as an employee, as a rep of your company and as a human being.

AT&T loves to add on false fees to steal from its customers. I was told today my internet service had somehow been suspended in August...🤔 yea I have all my confirmation notices that Ive paid my whole way up and havent missed a payment, and now you want to add 40 bucks for a restoration fee on my account that was because of something from 2 months ago!????? My account never got suspended, my account has been kept up to date, and these whole 3 months I have had to be on the phone with customer service over one thing or another. Never once has customer service told me i was suspended or had fees due on my account. Ive talked to billing and collections who claim they sent letters when they never did. I have gotten plenty of letters from AT&T and not one of them was about a suspension. I have been treated by nothing but rude or incompetent people who refuse to listen or do anything to fix their false charge. Thanks for the theft AT&T! Cant wait to end this service, I would rather be charges a little more for another service than deal with AT&T robbing me.
Terrible customer service. The young man I dealt with was very nice, but once I received my bill, I had extra charges and things that I was unaware of. My bill going up a couple dollars turned into over $100 of extra charges, and AT&T says that Im just stuck. The cell reception is terrible at my house. I plan on changing carriers because of this store in particular.

Horrible customer service on phone. In store sales rep did not help at all and cared more about taking a personal call even though i was right there in person. Trying to get credited back 40.00 back for them charging to much last month, and they keep giving the run around saying they have no record of anything even though this whole problem started with a mistake on their end. I dont see how anyone would stay with this company. I wish i could get a full refund from the time i signed up. Its been nothing but trouble from them since day one. I feel like Ive had to exhaust myself to the point im physically sick talking to them on the phone. When this contract ends im going with another phone and internet company. I recommend not using AT&T services if you took the time to read this.

No costumer service at all, costumer service is just not greeting people when they walk in. It is making sure that you are meeting their needs in every possible way and being proactive, which the employees are definitely not. They charged me twice for a prepaid service, which this situation could have been avoided if the sales person could have told me or at least ask me if the number that I wanted to port over from another service was active or not. Simple as that. Not only that, during the whole time I was there, employees would have personal conversations as if you were not there.Weeks later when I realized that they charged me twice, I went to the store to ask for a refund and the Manager Jose said that I would have to call Costumer Service, so I did. When I called Costumer Service said that the store are the ones that are supposed to give me the refund.The Manager Jose is not knowledgable about how to take care of simple refunds?Disappointed, should have gone to the Hickory Store.

I have Uverse. The company has no regard for service. The outdated equipment is constantly failing and the internet speeds are weak. Im on the fourth modem in three years and four months and its broken too. There is a 4 day wait to get it fixed. They have to know that their equipment is faulty. Im gonna find another way!
