Great big store. Lots of stuff an old suburban man doesn’t need but would like to buy.

Very clean store, inventory seemed a bit low, but most likely due to them doing an inventory when I was there. Staff was super friendly and we were greeted and honestly the only store like that, that we didnt feel followed, even though we are a mixed race couple. We have been followed at home depot, Menards and Fleet Farm. I know that wont matter to most people, but we definitely will choose Runnings over any other place, due to this.

Quite often I have experienced when they have sale items posted in their weekly sale flyer the items are not there or sold out! They did give me a rain check weeks ago & soon it will be a snow check! 😒

I always buy my hamster bedding at Runnings. Paper & Aspen wood, I like to mix them. Ive priced it at just about every last place that sells it and Runnings is by far the absolute best deal! Super cheap!! 2, sometimes 3×s more expensive at every other store.

Complete joke of a company and incompetent employees. Only half of their stuff has price tags on it and when asking an employee what the price is they can’t answer it. The few things they do have in stock are wildly overpriced. I won’t be going back if I can help it.

Nice place, good deals, funny cashier, be sure to try the gummy bears we loaded a picture of, wow the best in the world! Make sure the package says “ultimate” they are…, well you will love them!

Runnings in Monticello, MN had exactly what I was looking for and in my opinion, is somewhat underrated when it comes to hunting supplies.

AMY (front end manager) IS INCREDIBLEY RUDE AND DEMEANING!I asked about something in the ad, she said they didnt have any. I told her I saw them in back, she said those werent the same. I asked if I could show her, she rolled her eyes. We go back and there they are with the label AS ADVERTISED and she said, well those must be labeled wrong.Then I asked if she could honor the price since they were clearly marked as the ones in the ad, even to the level of detail. She snapped back and said she wouldnt and that I didnt know what I was talking about, even though I pointed out she had been wrong several times and that it was in the ad, with the exact same description, and labeled as advertised on the shelf.She continued to give me attitude and raise her voice at me in front of my 3 kids and other customers. I wasnt going to continue to let someone talk to me that way in front of my kids or others. We walked out and will take out business to Fleet Farm or Home Depot.So sad, we have loved this place for YEARS!

Fantastical place. This fishing and hunting options are massive. Greatest customer service in knowledge and willingness to help. ( You DONT feel like a burden in their day) this is Harley and crews one stop shop for all outdoor gear while investigating. Jackets, pants boots and snacks. These guys have it all.

Went into runnings to buy golf balls. They said they dont carry them because, Golf is not a real sport! Tell that to muti million dollar golf pros!!!

July 18th @ 1:40 pm.I went to your store for 2 things. A tube of concrete filler and a Stihl leaf blower. I walked around in the Stihl area for about 10 min. Then I walked from one end to the other a few times. I found 1 gal checking trailer axles. There were two people at check out That makes 3 people in the hole store. REALLY!!!! Put your managers on the floor. There are no deals on Stihl products. The price is the price. I guess you dont need my money. Any Stihl dealer will do!!

Love this place! Staff are sometimes a hit or miss. Huge shout out to the lady working in the chick section on 4/17 she was super friendly!

Great place to get outdoor gear. Got a really good deal on some stuff and the place is really fun to walk around just to see the stuff they have. They even have live bait!

We love coming here with our dogs. We have a new puppy who is 5 months old and we take her here when shopping to practice walking on a leash and socialize. Employees are awesome. They all come up to pet the dogs and ask if the can have a treat? Its great the the employees carry dog treats in their aprons. The little one had a accident and their was an employee right there to help us clean it up. I was completely embarrassed because she is potty trained and just got excited when being pet. The employee assured me it was not a problem at all and explained it happens a lot and thats why they have the paper towels and spray close by.

We made a purchase on November 13th and found the item we purchased online at a competitor for $27 less. Manager Ann exchanged for us and gave us the competitor price. She was kind and helpful. We are very happy with Runnings and the service we received. We drove 30 miles to shop there and will be back! Great job Ann and team.

Runnings products are generally decent quality at a good price. However, every time I visit the gun counter, the men behind the counter are grumpy and out right rude. I’d much rather go to fleet farm or other shops.

Best selection of sporting goods in town and also one of the most reliable bait shops.

The managers are very rude to their employees. At 12:15 on the 4th of December. 2 young female managers were being horribly mean to a older female cashier. One of the managers name was Amy and the other one had blonde hair. I didn’t catch what the cashiers name was. Secondly they don’t honor the price they put on their boxes. I bought a pair of boots that were marked $1 but at the cashiers desk it rang up as $10. They should honor their prices but instead the managers started yelling at the cashier. Who ever the cashier was thank you for being kind and sorry you got treated that way. And the managers should be fired.

Higher priced items. Some good brands, some never heard of. Store was ok but its no fleet farm. Only 1 cashier working with a line of people. Another guy opened up and was friendly, so good on him. Will come back only if fleet farm is sold out of something.

Wow, I just called Runnings in Monticello and asked the guy if they had any camping rocking chairs in the store for sale. I need two by tomorrow and its hard finding stores that have them in stock. He said he didnt have time to go look. I said Thank you and hung up. What great service. Ive spent a lot of money at that store. I wont shop there again.

The cashiers were rude. And did not seem like they cared when something was mentioned. Hopefully the new store in St Cloud is better staffed.

If your employees aren’t even going to wear masks, I’m done here. We have spent a lot of money at this store over the years purchasing all our chicken feed and equipment, but never again.

First time there- I saw at least a dozen people not wearing masks. Management please enforce the state law and help protect our health.

Never have been into this store before, I am amazed! Not only did they have a great selection of sporting goods but the prices were very reasonable. I really enjoyed they had a assortment of candy store candy and the Mrs enjoyed looking at the candles and soaps.

Great store. focused more on farmers but they have some stuff that at the off brand candy area that I always look at. Then they have a suger cane soda area that most of the time has new flavors in so I always end up buying some to try.

The associated at Runnings are always willing to help you find what you are looking for. If there was 10 stars to vote I would give Runnings of Monticello MN 10 stars. Keep up the good work Runnings!

Whenever I cant find a part or piece I need to repair something I can always find it at Runnings! Not to mention the employees are great at thinking outside of the box to help me brainstorm and give excellent customer service ; )

Every time we go into Runnings the employees are extremely friendly (it may help that we have the dog with us... which is another reason Runnings is so great...)! We were looking for a specific item on this trip and the employee we asked took us directly to it. Great experience!

The prices were okay I didnt notice a lot of the pegs are empty throughout the store and that in the fishing area a lot of pegs had like packages but not the same SKU numbers on them which was confusing price wise employees were okay nothing spectacular as far as customer service goes just a general nothing fancy

Large variety of product from candy to kayaks. Very helpful staff and great prices. I wish I lived closer so I could shop here more often.

I always make a point to visit Runnings when Im in the area as we have a vacation spot nearby that we frequent in the past, but they have done NOTHING to make their customers feel safe while shopping there. Several employees wearing their masks under their chins or under their nose, no offer to provide masks upon entry as stated on their doors resulting in 10+ able bodied customers walzing around without masks, no sanitizer anywhere, no arrows on the floors, dirty cash registers and credit card machines. The bare shelves make it look like theyre going out of business, so I feel bad, but I wont be returning anyways. I feel inclined to report them to the state.

Located in Monticello MN. A nice place to shop with a good variety of items to choose from. Ive purchased Scrubs for work from here and they are a good quality. Ive also purchased some candy from them in their unique candy corner.

Not wearing masks is not acceptable now Grant the manager needs to change things. I have been a runnings customer since you opened. Walmart is going to require masks. If you want more business do the same thing as this will make your customers feel safe.

Departments could be labeled better, could have more staff.

Joanne was amazing! I needed help Finding a very specific item, and she was willing to put the time into looking through the stockroom to find what I was looking for. When she couldnt find it, she offered to order it from a different store or have it shipped from the warehouse. She was very kind patient and caring throughout the whole thing! Great customer service and friendly.

Good place to go for bait. Some items are higher priced but usually lots of sales.

They always have helpful staff and what I need. They have sturdy tools and equipment that will stand up to use as opposed to the typical big box home improvement store that has cheap tools and equipment. The stuff maybe be cheap, but is often cheaply made. When I buy tools I usually prefer to buy once and not disposable tools.

Love this store. Really easy to find staff for help. There sale prices are the best in town. They always have what I need in stock. I cant remember how many times I walked into Fleet Farm just to find they were out of what I need. Please support this store.

Prices are good, I shop around a lot for good prices and they are better than a lot of stores. I am very happy to shop at Runnings. I do not know anyone that works there, so take that out of your mind. Friendly people, and they smile, ( that is always nice ). A very good selection of goods.

My elderly wife and I shopped there wearing masks. She is battling cancer.The cashier, NO MASK suddenly began coughing, hacking, forcefully. She continued as we left. WE WILL NEVER RETURN. Our friends and family will be made aware.

Runnings has been a go to for my sporting goods needs, But it seems to be going down hill over the last month or 2. Tonight when i was there i waited for well over 5 min to get helped with a scoop of minnows, all while the manager chewed out 2 young men right in front of me, i watched the whole thing go down. Then she after she was done she asked me if i needed help (i wanted to tell her I wasnt standing there playing with the minnows...)and yelled at the boys again for not helping me... It was obvious i was standing there waiting for someone to scoop minnows. It has been way more unorganized than in the past. Its a shame, it use to be a good store.
