Everyone at this location is awesome. Super friendly and helpful. The doctor is super attentive and really listens to you. Great selection of frames and lenses as well. Definitely recommend!!

She helped me pick for a good variety that fit my face shape, and walked me through the process of updating my prescription!The doctor on Staff here is also extremely considerate, kind and funny! They really take all the stress out of getting your eyes checked, and glasses renewed here!Highly recommend!
The ladies at the desk were swift! We both made appointments and we did not wait a minute past the appointments made. The doctor was kind, well spoken and took her time explaining everything in detail. The final glass fitter was amazing. She was friendly and helpful. We were both there a total of 1 hour 10 minutes out the door. Will be back to pick up glasses in 10 days! Great team at this lens crafters.
We visited Lens Crafters in Monterey at the Del Monte Shopping Center. Ashley spent one hour and a half patiently helping my daughter and I choose some frames. Although they didn’t take our insurance, they had great promotions that made our purchase affordable. We had an amazing experience and would definitely come back. Great service and wide selection.
Suzy was a delight to work with. She is a good listener and made very informed suggestions when selling me a pair eyeglass lenses. She kindly informed me that in the very small likelihood of damage to my frames that I was dropping off. … that i would be responsible for any damage. She explained why, and I understood. What an excellent customer service professional!!!

Nobody’s perfect but I will say Susie was great (4.5+) and very friendly when I went in for my “regular visit” for glasses adjustment. The tone of her voice was sincere and she really listened to me about the comfort details and was helpful. I also asked about the contacts from last visit and she promptly called me back the next day after talking to the doctor.

Very Helpful employees, was able to find exactly what I wanted. Even though they were busy they did their best to help me as quickly as possible. I’m from out of town and they were able to finish my glasses in an hour so I wouldn’t have to make another trip for picking up my glasses.
Lygia is absolutely the best person at LensCrafters at the Del Monte Shopping Center. She is so professional, kind, patient and genuine with everyone she helps. I waited for two hours for my husband to get an eye exam, fitted for contacts and buying a pair of sunglasses and I could see and hear her interactions with customers which was outstanding. When it was our turn, she was wonderful and seems to understand how to exactly help us with the insurance process and helpful in answering all of our questions. I if I were a secret shopper I would recommend her for special award for a job well done with excellent customer service. Everyone who works there we also good but Lygia really stands out. Your lucky to have her and I hope you retain her for a long time.
I brought my fragile 93 year old Mom here to get her glasses checked and readjusted after a fall, and the young woman who helped us was extraordinary. She was so sweet to my Mom and very gentle and careful with her. She also was meticulous in getting the fit of my Mom’s glasses just right. I hope her boss gives her a raise!
Ashley and the entire team at LensCrafters was absolutely fantastic. They completed an eye exam and got me a new pair of glasses in under an hour. They were welcoming when I first came in and very descriptive throughout the entire process. A true five star experience.
Dr. Avani was kind, helpful, direct, and matter-of-fact. I have been visiting optometrists for various reasons since I was three years old, and this was hands-down my best experience ever. The support staff was also very kind and helpful, especially Susie. They made a nerve-wracking experience enjoyable.

I was a little hesitant to go to Lenscrafters for my glasses based on reviews on Yelp, but I have a small face that is hard to fit, so need a big selection. I am so happy I gave them a shot because the service was really excellent. I had to go in three times because there was a hiccup with my insurance (my doctors fault) so I worked with a few different people and each one was super helpful and friendly. I got exactly what I needed with minimal waiting. I would have given them 5 stars, but management needs to pay attention to the condition of the store. The chair I was in for my fitting was held together with tape and looked pretty ratty. A bit of a refresh would really help them. Other than that, I was completely satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

If I could give this place zero stars I would, I went in today on a lunch break from my job because I needed to order sunglasses. The attendant was super friendly and told me I could try on whatever I liked. She said there was one guest ahead of me so when I was ready to wait in one of thechairs for 10 minutes. I was sitting there and after a moment I turned around and there were some people who came in after me getting helped before me. So I went up to the same lady who assisted me to ask what was taking so long and she said “oh, who was helping you?” And I thought she was joking or maybe she had just forgotten so I told her someone that looked like her. I looked down at my phone and 30 minutes had passed since I had gotten there. So I asked her how much longer it would take. She said someone would be right with me. But I looked and there were moreguests, so I promptly left. I also noticed onlyadults were being helped and while I’m in my early 20s, I look younger. I was probably forgotten about cause I don’t look like an adult or like I’ll buy something which is sadly common with stores that cater higher end items. I was going to get Tiffany sunglasses, but now I am going to take mybusiness elsewhere. I hope lenscrafters learns how to treat guests with respect regardless of their age or how much it looks like they have.
I have always received a kind and warm greeting. They are very professional, caring and friendly. They take the right amount of time to make sure they have the proper frame fit and measurements.

I bought sunglasses and the result was horrible. Tint was not complete and the color of the tint was not what I had ordered. One of the lenses was popping out.I was able to return them with no problem.
I would rate higher if i could! the staff is amazing and the doctor is very attentive. it’s such a shame that there are so many negative reviews on here. get to your appointment early and have some patience! after all, anyone who goes into the place is a patient! i would also add that the place is under new management, and can you notice the difference! i appreciate everyone who works at this lenscrafters!

I was professionally greeted upon entering the eye clinic, and I felt welcome. The reception people, the doctors assistant, and the doctor were all very knowledgeable and helpful. The doctor understood my inflammation diagnosis. She took the time to further explain to me my condition, and what steps I can take for self care. She also explained how the medicated eye drops I use work (I didnt ask her too) and why it is important for me to use my eye drops as directed by the rest of my health care team. I feel confident and comfortable with the care I received and the with the skill of the doctor. I will return for my routine eye care and I have recommended the office to my family.
I’m giving five stars because of the young lady that helped me.I was looking for frames and lenses and was ignored by the rest of the staff but this young lady not only helped with a great attitude but apologized for the fact that I had to wait while she finished helping someone else. I was in on 2/16 at 1:00 pm and her name is Lygia.
Lens Crafters is very expensive. I purchased frames and lenses there only because in the past I have been able to get my glasses either the same day or the next day. This time I had to wait almost 2 weeks (wasnt told lenses had to be ordered until after I selected frames and everything). Finally went to pick up my new glasses and one of the lenses had the wrong prescription! Now I have to wait another 2 weeks. Love the doctor who performs the exam - very thorough. But I will NOT purchase another over-priced pair of glasses that I have to wait 2+ weeks for. Back to Costco I will go - and get 2 pairs for the same price ready in a week!

Terrible antiquated systems make using them slow and risky during covid.1. No updated online forms with covid like every other doctor.2. If your out of network it’s your fault it take 23 minutes to check out.3. No electronic / contactless payments

Liked the doctor very much. She spent a decent amount of time with me and went out of her way to answer extra questions I had. However, I was told they could not email me a copy of my contacts prescription and that I had to come by in person with ID to pick it up, but when I went by 5-10 minutes before closing their door was already locked. The staff could see me but did not offer to let me in. So, now I have to make another trip over there. I am moving soon and just wondering if I had already moved, how would I get my prescription I paid 100s of dollars for ???

I dont know why the Del Monte Center location of LensCrafters gets such a bad rap here on Google reviews. I suspect the bad reviews are from people who were either late to their appointment and felt slighted when they had to wait further, or they were simply from grumpy people who like to vent online. In my case, Ive been going to this same location for something like 15 years. Ive never been treated badly once. The doctor I saw (no pun intended), Dr. Tran, is extremely nice and very patient. The tests I took were performed with care and expertise. While the products available are by no means all inexpensive, I know what I want and I want the assurance to bring them back in case of a problem -- which I have done before. Tip: make an appointment for mid-day, during the week. Show up at least 15 minutes early. You wont be disappointed.
Glasses broke, lens popped out, while on vacation in Monterey. Called several places no one would fix because of liability issues. Went to Lenscrafters in Del Monte shopping center. Andrea was amazing. Fixed my glasses in less than a minute at no charge!. Fantastic customer service! Big THANK YOU Andrea.

No one answeres the phones when you call. When you visit it is very disorganized they dont help people in the order they arrive because they dont keep track of who comes in they just tell them to sit and waite
I went to LensCrafters, Monterey to replace one of the nose-pads today. Although there was only one customer besides me, the receptionist said it would take an hour. I told her Id have a class to teach in an hour, and she said she would see what she could do. She checked with someone and then told me it would take more than an hour. I said I only needed the part and could fix it myself. Then the repairer came up and said to me rudely that she was the only person doing the repair work there for the customer who came before me. And just to find the part would take a long time. The receptionist at the time had no other customer to help and could have gotten the part for me and was about to do so, but the repairer, a huge woman, literally stopped her from serving me. So I had to leave and would never come back to this place.After work today, I went to Targets optical department. It took the girl there only 5 minutes to replace the nose-pad. She also tightened all other screws without my asking her to do so.
They are not professional totally. They gave me wrong prescription and also they ruined my glasses numbers. I have had pain for weeks. Not preferred...terrible
Ive been to this store 3X in the past 5 years and have finally decided to find another optometric service provider. The service delivery method makes me feel like Im part of a cattle call. Every time I have made an appointment for an exam, I get seen by the technician who does the pre-exam procedures, and then sit and wait in the exam room for at least an hour without any explanation or apology from the Optometrist. Once the exam is over, I get to choose a frame without any assistance, then I get to sit with the technician for another 45 min to an hour who fits the frames and calculates the total cost. The level of competency with the support staff is inconsistent. The overall price is not really a discount and is definitely not worth frustrating experience.

The most racist thing just happened in LensCrafters, I was standing there with my son to purchase glasses, a white couple walked in after me and she set them down and helped them. Then she tried to convince me that they were already waiting.Do not shop at LensCrafters, to all my military friends.Racism is alive and well at LensCrafters in Del-Monte Shopping Center.
Ive been going to the LensCrafters at Del Monte Shopping Center for over 20 years, and theyve always been friendly and helpful. In all that time Ive only had one issue, and it was taken care of quickly and completely to my satisfaction.
My eye exam with the office inside of their location was great, but the woman at the front office was extremely rude. I also called to order contacts multiple times throughout the week and was repeatedly told that they would either call me later or didnt have time to fill my order.

I made an appointment at LensCrafters in Monterey last December. I showed up on time for my appointment but had to wait for an hour. Thats why I made an appointment. It took over three hours from start to finish. I was disappointed with the service. The person who helped me with the purchase of the glasses was did not seem to be knowledgeable about the products. I have worn glasses for 50 years, and this is the worst experience I have ever had. Back to Costco I go!
The service rep is horrible there - she does not want you to be her customers. For some reason (may be she misspelled my name or birth date), she said my insurance carrier does not have my record and therefore cancels my eye exam appointment. I offered her my member ID and asked her to re-verify with my insurance carrier and she refused to do so. Very poor customer service. I would fire the person if she were my employee.

My troubles with LensCrafters goes back 2 years with doctors that rotate around, break appointments so they can go to lunch and there is no continuity between LensCrafters elsewhere.Forget LensCrafters, its cattle car eye care and THEY DO NOT CARE !!!
Terrible experience there. The front desk lady did mostly everything. The other assistants didn’t know what to do. I wanted to buy sunglasses and one of the assistants scratch them and she didn’t care.

Horrible service 3.5 hours for eye exam and ordering glasses. They said the glasses would be done that day did not happen until the next day late. When I complained there rudeness just increased. Customers are treated like cattle.
