I broke my phone last night, I did not think it was able to be saved. First thing in the morning I called and they were super responsive and could do it right then. I sent the phone over in an Uber delivery and it came back to me in one, I sent my phone off at 10 and the phone arrived at my house at 11. Super quick and I was so thankful. Thank you steve, I am recommending you to all my friends.

Cracked my phone on the construction job and he was able to fix it within 1 hr ! Unbelievable service with zero bs...I called him a magician because the guy worked magic and got me back up and running faster than anything I have ever seen. Customer for life!

Steve is everything all the other reviews say... I was desperate and he took me right in literally the same day I called. He is honest and has expertise. He literally takes time and explains what he has done, and how to treat your computer..He tells you up front what his costs are. (very good prices) I would drive a very long distance just to go to him for my computer repair.

First of all, I am grateful that the business was open after I left work at 6:00 PM on a Friday. The home button on my older iPod had slipped out of place. I expected it would be hard to fix and I would have had to leave my iPod for a few days. Although a more permanent fix would be costly (more than the iPod was worth), the owner assisted me by quickly identifying the problem and assessing a workable solution within a few minutes. The charge for the quick fix was very reasonable. I really appreciate the quick service I received. I will be back if I need any computer or phone repairs in the future. I would highly recommend this business for tech repair needs.

Great service, great work repairing my phone, friendly people, conveniently located downtown Monterey: whats not to love? This is one of the rare places where you actually get what you came out for--and then more. I.e.: they fixed my phone screen while I waited, yes, but they also gave me a sheet of info on the latest security threat to my computer and what to do about it. So my 5 minute wait was productive! Can you say, Thats what Im talking about!? Love that they care about the community, too. Next time your phone or computer breaks, give these guys a call. He is the most honest repair professional I ever dealt with. Instead of repairing my MacBook and taking the money he advised me to buy a new one with the money doing himself a short term disservice but gaining a long term customer. Well, now you have your second negative review. I was going to give you two stars, because you initially seemed honest. However, then you accused me of lying when I went to retrieve my device. You also weren’t completely straightforward telling me that you didn’t think anyone in the area could perform the repair. Nice customer service, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Solid service and was understanding and helpful with issues I had with my phone. The new screen works great!

I came in to see if Steve could revive my 10 yr old laptop which had finally died. Steve immediately diagnosed the hard drive which was 100% healthy and gave me a detailed course of action and estimate on what he could do to solve the problem. After a few hours he found that the laptop was unable to be salvaged, but he sold me a refurbished laptop with my hard drive in it for less than the amount quoted to fix the old computer. Very pleased with Steves thorough and transparent approach. Would definitely come back in the future.

The guy didn’t speak much he was weird . Ever since I picked my phone up it’s been acting off ... strange people contacting me .... phone calls .. know my name .. phone number . I only had a screen fixed .I saw your response and yes it was your store . I don’t use my real name online for SAFETY . Whatever you did to my phone ... whomever you gave my info to .. please UNDO IT !!!!!

Spent $30 to find out what was wrong with our custom PC. Explained the issue, and what we had done personally to try and fix it. He googled the issues right in front of us and told us what google said, even though we told him we tried all of that already. We were then told we were pretty much out of luck because nothing that we had tried worked.Save your money and just google the issue yourself.

My game console was returned to me, disassembled, in a box. It was overheating and Steve initially warned me he may not be able to fix it. A few days later he let me know it would probably cost more to repair than its worth and gave me the choice to have him continue or pay $50 and come get my console. I told him Id come get it. When I got there and paid the $50 he gave me a box containing my disassembled console. I was bewildered that he did not take the time to reassemble it. I wont use his services again.

This place is great! I needed a new screen on my Samsung Note 9 and they were able to replace it for much less than the cost of a new phone. I also used a KRML Save30 Store coupon, which offset some of the cost.It took a little under two hours for a repair, which is much quicker than having to send my phone off to Samsung. Friendly communication the entire time, and he even installed my new screen protector for me (I hate having to do that myself so it was a relief, haha).They also have a selection of cases and accessories for pretty cheap, plus a nice waiting room / lobby area with comfy couches and chairs.

As an older admittedley challenged computer user I was at my wits end with really poor performance from my 7yr old windows 7 computer. Just before spending 5 or six hundred dollars on a new machine I went to Steve @ I will fix on Tyler st. in Monterey and withing 1hr. my computor has never performed so well. Steve is absolutely on fire. He explained everything to me in a way even I could understand. Im so happy to have gone to him. Needless to say I will be a liftime customer.Steve Pondick

TL:DR: This is how a business should be run! This man deserves any business that can be sent his way.
