On 10/2/2021 around 3:35pm, I walked to the Verizon wireless store at Monterey and tried to ask the help on activating my new iPhone 13. This is a typical problem on the iPhone13 since it starts to use the 5G. I spoke to the front person, called as Man-A, about what I need. He told that they only accept the scheduled appointments. For walk-in, the waiting time is uncertain. I looked around and didnt find many customers on the store. I asked to wait. Man-A showed me the scheduled appointments as: 4:00pm, 4:30pm, 5:00pm, etc. It seems that serving one customer is every half hour. I saw there were only two service windows with each Verizon technician and customers. During waiting, another customer service person, called as Woman-A, told me the same thing and she reported to the store manager. Then, I saw that the 4:00pm appointment was served, and one of two technician completed and left the store since she was done today. During this period, I observed the store had 5 Verizon persons and only one technician was serving the customer. The Man-A and Woman-A were standing at the front of the store and telling the incoming customers, need to schedule an appointment and no time available today. I just wonder whats the poorest service here, 20% staff (one technician) of 5 people contributing to the customer service. Why does it needs two people, Man-A and Woman-A? If count the store hours from 11:00am to 7:00pm at every half hour to serve one customer, the total of appointments is 16-customer. Look at the picture, service windows empty. I wish the store to improve the 20% technical efficiency to 80% and avoid two people at the front to do nothing.
Hey Richard Zhang. Thanks for your review and the photo. Youll be happy to know that as a result of your posting, I (single woman / only household income) was fired from my job today. I was following the direction of my manager and company policy. Perhaps next time you have a suggestion for improvement, you should speak with someone vs disparaging others publicly. Enjoy your evening.
Unlike the company profile, they dont wear masks. When I asked them to please be kind and understand I have MS, could they please wear a mask just for our scheduled appointment, could they accommodate me or do I need to leave. They said goodbye. Very rude. A young lady jumped in and helped me but sent me home with a phone that was blocked from making calls. Lucky I went to a different location and found some professionals that completed my order. Those yahoos at Del Monte Center even blasted a sports event on their phone while we were trying to speak to support on a speakerphone. Stay far away from Del Monte Center. Just a horrifying, excessive time consuming awful experience. Try Sand City and ask for Hailey.
I had an 11:00 a.m. appt on 4/7/2021 to have my recently purchased iPhone (from the Apple Store) connected to cell service and to disconnect my older iPhone. I was pleasantly greeted at the door and informed I would be seen shortly. Within minutes he returned to assist me as the other assistant was going to take a bit longer helping another customer. In no time he had my new cell phone connected. I was most impressed with his friendly and courteous service and how easy he made this in-store experience. Asked how my day was going and was just genuinely friendly. Kindness goes a long way these days and he really made my day after the terrible experience I had had with a specialist the day before at the Apple Store. I wish I had gotten the Verizon employee’s name and wish I had purchased my iPhone from him at this Verizon Store. Great service! Thank-you!
Rod was the best! He diagnosed the problem and fixed my husband’s phone in a few minutes. Give this man a raise!
They helped me out with a cellphone issue really quickly and showed me how to fix the problem if it came up again . Very friendly staff
Quick any easy pickup staff seemed knowledgeable!
Last time I was there (about 10 years ago), they were extremely rude to me from the get go. I tried to shrug it off, but then one of them told me I couldnt wait around in the store for 10 minutes while my device was being fixed. After being a Verizon customer for over a decade, this incident alone was enough to make me change carriers.I have never been so mistreated by a store in Del Monte shopping center in my life. They fixed my phone, but that wasnt where the unprofessionalism and rudeness started. I believe this person who worked for Verizon had something against me personally (although I didnt know who they were). Either way, you dont act like that at work where you are representing the brand that pays you.
Here visiting Monterey from Murrieta. The customer service representative Mo was awesome. He took time to ensure we had the best deal possible. He set up my mother in law new phone to make it look identical to her old one to avoid her being afraid of the new phone.
The associates were very professional and polite. I really felt appreciated as a customer.
I accompanied a friend to this store to get help with an iPhone problem.Jason was an amazing Verizon representative. He was patient, informed, professional and was not about to quit before finding a solution. It was a great experience!
They take months to fix a billing problem, having me keep calling while no one answers the phone. Its so frustrating trying to have a problem fixed. I wasted so much of my time and effort, and money! They just want customers money, not doing their work!!!Well, this is about verizon’s customer service, not this specific store. It’s extremely difficult to talk to the representatives. They even didn’t call me back after I scheduled for a call back by using their app, and the next day they called and I answered, but no one was there. Instead there was a message that said I missed the phone call. I had to drive to a nearby store and had it fixed there, I hope, which took about 2 hours! It seems like telecommunication and cable companies work like monopoly here.
Garbage company that charges you tons of hidden fees. For instance, an upgrade to their base model phone on existing line is 500 for the phone, PLUS another 100 in “upgrade fees”. So you have the pleasure of paying an extra hundred bucks for the privilege of spending 500.Go with a competitor. Anything but these chuckleheads that charge HUNDREDS per month with absolutely no incentivesTotal garbage
Always great service. 👍
I came in to get a new phone and Jon was the most amazing employee. He was personable and made the experience 100× better. Ive been to other stores were the employees are just like machines (fyi no one wants that) I had a great experience and Im enjoying my phone so much more now because of Jon
Staff is great help. Useful deals
Rod is the best verizon salesman in the city
I had to buy a new phone (the old one got dropped in a creek). It took me 10 minutes and I was a happy owner of a new SamsungGalaxy. Good service!
Our salesman was absolutely awesome! He was very patient and told us of all the deals available. How we could get unlimited internet for a little bit more a month! Definitely a great place to buy your phones or pads!
The service was impecable, and the timing was great too. Look for Mo if you desire an excellent buying experience
Verizon is great. The employees were a tad unprofessional. Not sure if it was because it was closer to closing or because it was a newer employee but they asked me in the middle of the purchase to give them a good review. I awkwardly smiled and continued with my purchase however they managed to bring up their potential review score three more times. I felt so uncomfortable I am giving them a 1.
My husband and I have visited three separate Verizon stores looking to replace our current phones. We have been with Verizon 20 plus years. It was not until we came to this location that we actually found a solution specialist that was at the top of her game. We ended up purchasing to new pixel 2 XL and she assisted Us in getting everything set up. Could not have had a better experience. Cudos Ms. Lopez. You are an asset to Verizon.
Excellent Service
Nice store with a large selection of merchandise. The staff is friendly and helpful. They do their best even when Verizon was screwing up. I would recommend as the best Verizon store compared to others in the area.
Unbelievable customer service for an out of towner in need. Thank you Verizons staff at this store
Great people great service fixed my cracked screen
Staff is helpful and the product selection is standard for Verizon. I wanted to ask about smart watches but the one employee who claimed to own and love his wasnt even wearing it. Very convincing.
I didnt really have a great experience here on my first visit. The representative that I talked to about replacing my phone actually had me leave the store because they didnt have my phone in stock, even though the verizon website said that my phone was in stock at this location. Upon leaving the store, the representative promised me that he would send me an email that day about the status of my phone. I never heard from him at all. I return to the store around 7 p.m. later that evening, after about 8 hours of waiting for an email. The representative that had told me he was going to send me an e-mail had left for the day......This is where my review gets better though. So, on my 7 p.m. visit, I was helped by a very knowledgeable and friendly representative, who was exceptional in customer service and with helping me out. She was great Even though the second visit was a painful process (approximately 2 hours), she really helped out all she could and was working very hard to represent Verizon well.
Came to buy one thing was in n out in 5 minutes. Always great service.
They have good Cus. Support, unless they have a lot of customers
A wonderful person named Ruth helped me to find the setting on my Android phone that turns off baseball score updates (every half inning) for teams I dont care about. She was tenatous and didnt give up even though it was buried way down in the Google Assistant settings.
The customer service is great and quick and easy. Very friendly compared to the other store I went to in South Main. Knowledgeable staff and they remember you.
Ray at the Del Monte Mall is awesome. Highly recommend you ask for him.
Nice people that were very helpful. Convenient location
Great service!
I spoke a little too early after I purchased a phone from this store. First, they sent my phone to the wrong address and expected me to fix the problem. Second, they are dishonest, rude, and will smile to your face to make a sale then once they get your money you are treated like crap. I went to AT&T and was treated with respect. The salesperson even called me back the next day to check up on me and to see if my phone was working okay. If you do want Verizon service, go to another store. The staff are very incompetent and dont even know their own company policy.
Verizon wireless is great but the representatives at the Salinas store are not the greatest. Had a horrible experience trying to turn in my S7 for a rebate. Over a month and still waiting. Never received a verification that it was received. I have spent hours tracking it and trying to get answers.
Staff is very helpful! I had a great experience with Mo.
I have three phones on my account. Went in to upgrade one and lower my bill. Walked out with a tablet, a new phone, a requirement that the remaining phones couldnt be upgraded for two years, and a promise that my bill would be $50 less. Got my bill and it was twice what it normally is. Oh, and the cash payment for the taxes for the next month (nearing $100) was never posted to my account. After over 10 years with Verizon, Im walking in today to return the tablet and the phone (if this is possible) and walking over to Sprint immediately following to buyout my contract and lower my bill. Ill give up the big network for not getting scammed. Look it up online - many people have had the same issue.
Dana in the version store st Del Monte Shopping Center was very helpful
I had a confusing situation with my new tablet and phone upgrade. I thought I was getting an upgrade from my phone to a tablet (as I dont really use talk or text). Was charged a lot for it, which freaked out my family, so I went back and SHAY was a wonderful help! She was very friendly, knowledgable, was up to date on promotions, including one that allowed me to hold on to my new devices at a decent price. Thank you Shay! :)
Normally.... Id give this office a 5..... but the lady that was supposed to help seemed more interested in having me do everything myself
Service level varies on who you get, sone much better than others. Mainly the staffis there to SELL, not service. I try not to go in anymore since they changed their (verizon) policy tonsending foolks to phones for tech service! BAD policy choice ...i will be moving service to Xfinity with my other services soon as i have paid off half my new phone (only upgraded since last one died and replacement phone under their contracts are refurbished, and havr same issues that caused my first one to die.)
Fast service
Despite the fact that we entered the shop short before closing: Very helpful and friendly management & staff, especially Rod. Made sure Verizon worked in the iPhone we brought from Europe. Verizon-Price may seem steep compared to (online-)resellers (USMobile etc.), but in-shop experience was worth it. Plus:Had (far) more often Verizon-coverage (1 to three dots & LTE; seldom CDMA) in the Sierra and the National Parks than T-Mobile-coverage. (No reception, seldom Edge / 4G / LTE; T-Mobile-card was in the iPhone 7).
Cassidy helped me with my iPhone 6 Plus and my new iPad. She is smart and very professional. I left the store feeling happy. Thank you Cassidy and the rest of the staff! ...Hi fives to all!👊🏻
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Did not have the phone case I needed.
Very good SCE at that verizon store..my issue was resolved at the very first contact..thanks to the spicky hair guy..thank you guys. T.I
This store has amazing customer support. They can be understaffed at times.
Absolutely no help at all
Verizon sux and so do their incompetent employees. Liars, all of them
Everything is easy accessable
Give it a five-star
Unhelpful staff who really dont want to serve you
Manager was not very helpful
Great store
Did not have car chargers in stock.
AWESOME
Very helpful
Good
Its the only mall weve got?
SPRINTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!
I went to AT & T at first, but it was slow to respond, so when I went to Verizon, he did it right away.I tried it with Xfinity before that, but it was the worst. I dont know why, but I have a TV and internet contract, but it wasnt approved. You can see why Verizon is # 1.
