Besides knowing their stuff, our 3 experiences have been without flaw. From assessing damage, to routine service all was courteous and honest. I say honest because after a dealer informed us a car needed a $5000 repair we had Classic take a look...$400 later the vehicle runs better than new. Shame, shame on the dealer, but Hooray for Classic!

This is an immaculate, well managed, high end, specialty auto garage. They service exotic, performance, and luxury automobiles. Joe makes a great effort to properly diagnose and service delicate cars that may be difficult for other shops in town. He offers premium parts and service for premium automobiles. His dedicated team also repair cars - so if you drive one of those and live nearby, he can take care of you as well. I appreciate his candor and diagnostic savvy when Ive got a difficult to diagnose issue. He can get to the truth without spinning my wheels like a dealership service department. Thumbs up!

Great shop!!! Joe took in my old scrappy BMW 5 series and put it up between an Aston Martin and a Bentley. They explained all the work performed and identified several critical issues and why they recommended further service. I was ultimately charged for 2 hours of labor when they worked on it for easily 5 to 6. Lots of parts already in stock; fast and professional service. Nice to know I have a shop in Monterey I can trust!!!

Professional, knowledgeable, willing to take the time it takes to resolve your questions. If you have a classic car, these are the folks you need to see first. Coffee next door is 1st class, so you get two for one!

I visited this shop to give the owner my business card (I sell European car parts in Europe, was visiting the area). He seemed to think in some way he was some superior being and started to be rude telling me I wasnt to disturb the mechanic and I only asked the mechanic what he was doing. I cant remember the owners name I think it started with a J. However I would suggest if this is his jumped up attitude I would not be taking a leak in there let alone a vehicle! It was a little while ago however I still remember him and it annoyed me. Best avoided and thankfully my business is doing well and I do not deal with jumped up guys who think they are something they are not.

Joe has a vast knowledge of all types of automobiles and his prices are reasonable for the area.He takes great pains to fix things right the first time and will not do work that is unnecessary. I cant say the same about some other shops in the area.Lee Garlington
