Great place to shop for movies, tv shows, t- shirts, and POP figures. They used to have good deals before every week now its like once a month. Im glad they did not close down because of the pandemic. Employees are usually nice and helpful.

A bit of nostalgia, a bit of the new. Thats how Id describe FYE in general. It honestly surprises me this chain has survived post-mid-2000s once CDs and DVDs started fading in popularity. But I think its because it jumped onto gamer culture, anime, and movie fandoms by carrying merchandise and some trendy decor and snacks. What I love about this FYE is its one of the closest ones to me (I dont think I ever grew up seeing a FYE in a SoCal mall for some reason; theyre more common on the East Coast) and I can come here and still see physical DVDs, which sometimes is an easier way to discover new titles youve never watched as opposed to jumping around on IMDB. This location also still has some CDs (heavily discounted, of course). Its a fun place to go into, and the range of kids to teens and adults inside browsing proves that everyone just wants some fun and entertainment sometimes. I ironically have never bought anything here before though, but the line always seems to move quickly.

Was doing some shopping and found an item I wanted to purchase. Upon arriving at the register the young lady told me the price was incorrect and it was actually much higher. I asked if I can still have it sold for the price mentioned on the sticker and she said no and ripped off the price and put the item behind the counter very rude like. Worst experience here Ive had here.

Really enjoyed the variety of items they sell. From hard to find movies to just about any piece of pop culture memorabilia you want to find its a great shop. I got a few gifts for my family here that Ive never seen online or anywhere. Really recommend it for gift buying.

I like this place only thing they dont have as many DVDS or CDS of what u would want if your lucky u will find what u want but in general they have more used then new like I said if your lucky u will find what u want of brand new !

Horrible place to shop! I would definitely not recommend unless youd like to get discriminated against! I was followed around the store by an asian woman (refused to give her name). Every time I turned around she was there, staring right at me, watching my every move. I was extremely uncomfortable and couldnt believe what was happening. I told my kids we were not going to buy anything because of what was going on and left. I called the store about 5 min after we left and spoke to SUZIE who was very disrespectful, unprofessional and seemed to think that what her coworker was doing was acceptable. I have never experienced this kind of discrimination in any store Ive been in. I will be contacting the district manager and HR about this situation in the Montclair FYE. I still cant believe this kind of discrimination is going on because of what I look like or what Im wearing. People shouldnt have to feel uncomfortable or embarrassed while shopping around. Worst place ever!

My main go-to spot at the mall. I love perusing through the bargain Blu-rays and browsing many novelty items here. If youre lucky you can get a t-shirt on the cheap or if youre in the market an consumer grade arcade machine. Its all good.

Our families favorite store at this mall. They have made several drastic changes over the years. We miss when they had the vast music selection, but it is still a fun store to visit. They always have new finds.

They offer great selection of collectibles. Great place to take kids to look around. They have variety of items and toys for the kids and adults. Staff are nice and friendly.

Im always happy to visit FYE. Its a bit of a drive but worth the time there. Always have something Im looking for and something I didnt know I needed til I find it there. Only negative is the wait to purchase. Still not long enough to keep me away.

The line was ridiculous. Only one person ahead of us with a small transaction and yet we were in line over 20 minutes. When I asked why it was taking so long the girl was rude. She said Gabrielle was just doing her job. I said I wanted to know why it was taking so off? We both gave me attitude and said they were taking a membership. I said that still didnt explain why it was taking so long ....

Please get more DAY6 albums, my friends and I would appreciate it :))

Its alright! Make sure you bring cash when you buy here since the workers may want you to try the F.Y.E. membership. I cancelled my feee trail and still got charged for it.

Window shopping. Lots of DVDs and cool collectables and a candy section.Some items had a great discounts that were on sale, other items, not so much.

So far im loving this stores, but im In fear. In Fear for my money they got all kinds of movie and, I just want to say shut up and take my money (Futurama Fry)

The owner Paul is an insulting and dishonest human being. They will cheat you out of money and treat you horribly. Worst customer service I have ever encountered and they break company policies just because they dont like what you look like. DONT GIVE THIS AWFUL MAN AND HIS OVERPRICED STORE ANY MORE BUSINESS. I hope this place goes out of business soon.

I love buying movies here. It they Will rip you off buying movies for you. I got saw the collection for 17 bucks and when I sold it to them they gave me 4 bucks and went back and sold it for 17. And a new bluray star wars awakening they were going to just give 4 bucks. And I saw they sold it for 20$ so unless you need the money dont bother selling stuff to them. Kevin is the nicest person there and is very helpful. The rest dont seem to care even if the world turned into zombies piss poor attitides

Not nearly as fun as it used to be. They have some DVDs, some CDs and vinyl. The whole place seems tired and uncared-for. It could be a collection of things unwanted or out dated. Not trendy or hip or maybe just poorly run.

Great variety DVD and toys

They deceive you by saying the FYE VIP pass is free, which actually costs 11.99 after the first month. Even if you decline the pass, they may still sign you up anyways. Google has many stories about FYE signing up people for FYE VIP pass without permission! Dont shop here!

The owner will lie and tell you that the FYE VIP pass is free for the month and then will charge your card unknowingly for $11.99, he knows most people wont notice the small recurring charge, what hes doing is illegal, and dishonest, have some integrity FYE.
