Amazing people! Not one moment did I feel unwelcome. They made my car buying experience an absolute breeze! First time buying a car and it was a great experience! Ill definitely go back for my future cars.(1) The communication via email was great and definitely a plus - I was surprised they actually told me the price options very directly without any of the normal games (Christopher). They also never badgered me for my phone number.(2) The pricing online was honest, accurate, and reasonable. The car I originally wanted sold the morning I was supposed to go see it. They let me know early in the morning because they knew I had a far drive and didnt want me to waste my time (James). They offered me the upgraded model at the same price they originally quoted if I was still interested in driving that way;(3) There was none of the typical sales pressure. I had a relaxed test drive with James and we had a friendly chat. He just explained the functionalities and never pushed me from the sales perspective.(4) The paperwork portion was very smooth. John was really helpful and explained the different things to me - again, never trying to sell me anything unneeded.So if youre new to buying a car - or just like a hassle free experience - I definitely recommend this place!

I purchased my Tuscan from Bob Mayberry, I love my Tuscan it has been one of the best cars I have owned, when I first purchased my Tuscan I was beyond impressed with team working at the dealership from the sales team to the service department, I was always greeted with a smile and good ole southern hospitality, as the years have passed I have watched the great team that once provided this high level of service leave and a new less hospitable team come in, The service department seems to be unorganized and will never admit or apologize for anything. Basic services like an oil change are often met with return trips because the air filter cover was left open, forgetting to reset the oil change reminder on the dash, or services you requested were not done. Not to mention a basic service like an oil change has never taken less then 2 hours. When concerns about your vehicle are brought to there attention, they do not look into it. When these concerns have been brought to managements attention, they are quick to remind you that they are one of the highest rated dealerships, I dont believe that will be the case moving forward, if you want to live with your past accomplishments you will fail to meet the same accomplishments in the future... Hyundai are known as good long lasting cars that are dependable and should be serviced with pride and care, it appears that is not the case at Bob Mayberry. I will have my Hyundai serviced elsewhere, hopefully by a more engaged team that is eager to serve, unlike the folks at Bob Mayberry

The best staff! They got me in and out quickly and my issue was thoroughly addressed. The rocking chairs outside are so cute and comfy. It was nice to be able to just relax while my vehicle was being serviced. Its not a very flashy location, but the people are kind and genuine. Ill take good people over a flashy exterior any day.
I had a great experience on Monday (5/17). I came into Bob Mayberry around 9am and I was met by Mr. Ed Roary. I told him what I was looking for in a new vehicle and what I offered on my end for a successful transaction and myself a new car. He proceeded directly to the vehicles that fit what I was looking for and yes we found the one ! Brand new! I was not at the car lot long at all! Very pleased with my service! I have been with Hyundai for years and I recommend to anyone in search of a vehicle!

My experience with their service advisor, Jessica Taylor was most disappointing.My vehicle went to them from the dealership that I made my car purchase from, Scott Clark Toyota, for some maintenance work. After transporting the vehicle to them for a couple of days, myself, there was an issue I had a concern about that pertained to my vehicle once I got it home. And this was after being told that the parts that I needed were on back order and she didn’t know when she would get the part in.(a different issue not pertaining to what I was already researching). So aside from that, the issue with my car, that I haven’t had for thirty days, was brought to her attention. In speaking with her, the agreement after the conversation was to bring the car in so she could look at it. At this point, it was the weekend and the next business day wasn’t until today, Monday. So during the weekend, I decided to do some investigation of my own to kinda have my ducks in a row before going any further with speaking to her. So I decided to give her a call. After having the phone pick up and hang up and having to call back each time, I finally got her on the phone. She picked up the phone, said my name, caller id that’s how she knew it was me, and went off. Telling me how she was bombarded with work and being the only advisor there and that per our conversation over the weekend, to do as we discussed or speck with her manager to resolve the issue or something like that. She was so loud and very rude that it threw me aback. I couldn’t get a word in. Because when I took my car in, oh boy, the customer service was through the roof. Nice and how they’re the best in NC. Funny how people disregard you and your things when it’s not theirs. Believe me, when it’s about business, customer service is through the roof but once business is done, that customer service is no longer valid. It goes away. You don’t get the follow up phone calls or a how you doing? Not even a phone call back about any concerns after messages have been left. So when I was able to get a word in, I only needed to know my odometer reading when it was brought in. Again, trying to do some research about my concern before I got back with her. At that point, I was done. I ask the service tech, at Scott Clark to send my vehicle to another Hyundai facility to have my car serviced from now on. They honored my wishes and got me to another Hyundai dealer. And get this. The parts that Jessica said that were on back order that she didn’t know when they would be in, well the other Hyundai facility has them. You know, if she hadn’t been so rude in trying to get her point across, then I probably would still be waiting weeks or even months like she said, to get my car fixed. (And that’s not what I was doing my research on.) But because of how it happened, the dealership where I got my car, will now be actually paying to get something done and I don’t have to deal with people that can be so disappointing. Thanks Jessica. But I still will be researching that other issue we talked about.

I took my daughter to shop for a car yesterday at Bob Mayberry Hyundai in Monroe, NC. Our experience was above any beyond excellent service. My daughter got a 2021 Hyundai Accent and I got the 2021 Hyundai Elantra, these cars are amazing. If you’re looking for a new car with great pricing this place is where you want to go. Peterson, the sales associate and Danny the store manager was awesome they walked us through the whole process they made us feel like a person instead of a credit score. They explained everything up front before they run your credit to see where you are, what car would be best for you. I have never been treated like this in my previous experiences when purchasing a new car. They paid off my old car and lowered my payment on my new car, with a good interest rate. Saw a car online that was perfect for me. Peter was my salesman, and I couldnt have asked for a more seamless car buying experience. From start to finish was a pleasure, and a lot faster than any previous car purchases Ive been involved in. He never tried to sway me to buy a more expensive car. I needed to take it back a few days later for an alignment. Everyone in the service department was nice. I highly recommend Bob Mayberry Hyundai. If they dont have what you want, theyll get it. Theyll also price match cars on other lots of the same make/model/package. A couple weeks before I purchased my Tucson, I took my son to finance his first new car. Tim was his salesman. Tim worked with D to make sure he was getting the car he wanted, with payments he can afford. I cant speak highly enough of these two gentlemen in the sales department. I will definitely return for any future car purchases!

I use to take my car here all the time. Last month I needed my door handle fixed and I believe I spoke with a female service agent by the name of Jessica who was beyond rude. I called back to leave a message for the general manager, and then called back again to leave a message for the service manager. The service manager Vincent, is the only one who returned my call. Till this day, I have yet to hear from the general manager. The people here do great work, but they should thoroughly consider who they hire to represent them, and it appears that I am not the Only one who has had an unpleasant experience with Jessica. Will no longer be serviced through this location due to poor communication that should begin with the general manager, but it appears he doesnt know how effective communication works yet, smh.
Very dissapointed in my first visit to the service department. Tanner specifically was the major part of the problem. Sat and waited almost 30 minutes after my vehicle was ready just because he couldnt get his act together, then he lied to my face to cover his tracks.Cliff in sales is awesome, but we will be getting our vehicle serviced elsewhere from now on.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review for a place but I felt the need to give this feedback. My husband and I walked into this dealership interested in a vehicle. There were two men at the front desk and several people in glass cubicles. None of them were with a customer and only 1 appeared to be on the phone. Not a single person looked up to acknowledge or greet us or see how they could help. We even waited around in the lobby and walked around for a minute or two to give someone the opportunity to help us and not a single person bothered. We of course walked out since no one was interested in giving us service. I’ve truly never experienced such disregard before.
This was a wonderful experience! Great salesman and the finance employee worked hard to help us obtain a manageable monthly payment so that we could purchase the vehicle of choice. Everyone made this a quick and enjoyable experience!
Stay clear of this service dept. I brought my 2014 accent in for a OIL CONSUMPTION TEST... apparently these are so prevalent... they need a name for it. After being vaguely informed by this guy named Joey Strickland.. on what to expect.. he had no clue... OR DID HE.. Ben is no better... Stay away... youll thank me later.Stay away from Hyundais altogether would be a better idea. Currently seeking legal advice. Good luck.

Car is a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. Paint blew off hood and top at 50k mi. Now there is a piston problem that is becoming a class action suit. Weve made 4 trips to dealership to start a oil consumption test. Now theyre changing procedure mid stream. Said well have to pay another 200 bucks for them to continue test. I wouldnt recommend Hyundai manufacturer or. Bob Mayberry to my worst enemy. Pitiful. Lie after lir
TERRIBLE SERVICE. Incompetent staff. Have no idea what they are doing.Tire PSI requires 35 PSI, they put in 40 PSI. Registered my state inspection in the wrong county even after they asked what county it was in. My pre sets all changed. I now wonder if they even did what they were supposed to do.
Rob McCormick truly is the best, he has been working with me over the phone and through text messages for the past 2-3 weeks. He has diligently responded to all of my questions and concerns and has gone far above and beyond what anyone would ever expect. Rob has been nothing short of extremely professional and responsive. From day one Rob and his manager Danny McCormick worked with us and made the impossible, possible with the bank to get the approval. 3-27-20Had an appointment time at 7:30 am, and have been waiting two hours, for an oil change. I’m pretty sure they let walk-ins go before our appointment time which is ridiculous. Plus if they are this busy then why they book so many appointments?. Also, I had two more free oil changes with the car I just bought, and the lady saying that it wasn’t on the record; so I will be bringing my paperwork back and they will owe me .

My wife, and I relatively new to the Carlinas. Recently our 15 hyundai sonata died on the highway while traveling.Therefrom, fooling around on internet for somewhere to turn, the Bob Mayberry Auto Group got a hold on the search.They reached to us, frustrated, I was stopped on the phone, and to just come on in.Best decision we could have made, was to let go, and just go in.Well, inside of 2 hours, my wife and are the proud owners a 19 Nissan Rogue. I am pleased with the service I receive at Mayberry. No one has ever acted in an unfriendly manner. Since 2007 I have purchased 3 new vehicles from them and I felt I was treated fairly businesswise. My questions are always answered thoroughly and they make sure I understand. I always have an appointment, so I never have to wait, they start right on time. Thats important to me because I live 25 miles away.

Jessica in Service was amazing. They were fast, accurate and very friendly. They also didnt try to upsale or overcharge . My experience was excellent and I will use them again. Oh forgot to mention I had no appointment was from out if town and needed some immediate assistance. Rather than telling me they were full and has no availability. They took time to listen to my concerns and took immediate care of me and I only waited 35 to 40 minutes for everything to be addressed and completed if possible. Keffer Hundae did not even return my call although I emphasized that it was an emergency, that I was from out of town traveling and was very concerned and needed immediate help. Keffer Hundae could have cared less I guess, as of this review I still have not even received a return call 8 hours later and three messages left, one with the service receptionist who I explained to that it was very urgent. Bob Mayberry was the true professionals and service oriented. I would recommend them highly.
Our experience.....Jacob was genuine, knowledgeable and not pushy. Good follow up and answering questions. I will be sure to recommend Jacob to others interested in buying a car. The business manager Danny....did not exhibit the same qualities as the salesman. He demonstrated qualities of undermining his staff and just trying to make a sale. We were not impressed. Bought a 2019 Santa Fe 1/12/2021 at a fair price. They delivered the vehicle to my home a nice touch .But I had signed off on the condition of the car by the time the car made it to my home (2 hrs or so) I noticed bad scratches on the passenger side window did not see them on test drive nor told about them .So was told they would do nothing to help make it right THE CAR WAS OUT OF MY SIGHT FOR 1hr in the detail shop (Dont know if they did it)then another 1hr or so being brought to me(probably not them). I would think they would do people better than this.....

I went in to look at a new vehicle and felt no pressure from our salesperson, Rob McCormick. He went over details on the Hyundai Kona and Tucson, but did not push us towards the higher priced Tucson. He even pointed out how the higher trim level on the Kona was priced lower than the entry level Tucson. We were looking for safety and reliability in a vehicle for our daughter. We researched at other dealerships and came back to Bob Mayberry, who matched the other price. They also have additional warranties through the dealership that sealed the deal. It was a very easy process from start to finish and we love our new Kona!

Everyone working here had a complete disregard for covid precautions. Only a couple of employees wore masks correctly, and a majority of them weren’t wearing one at all. The place was busy and the cubicles are small. They should be fined for their complete negligence.Other than that, the salesperson we worked with was nice but not entirely helpful at all. The manager was rude and aggressive. I will be going to the other Hyundai dealership next time I need something.
I felt disrespected by the sales manager at Bob Mayberry Hyundai today. I went in to the dealership well-prepared. I had researched the vehicle I was interested in and researched the value of my trade-in. I experimented with all the unlock secret price and extra $500.00 on your trade-in if you give us your contact info gimmicks. I had my title in my purse and money in hand.The sales person, Peter, was helpful and did a great job showing me the features of the car. He answered all my questions and respected my time limits.When the sales manager Danny brought me the deal, he undervalued my car, and slipped in all those packages. The packages increased the price by 2K, not to mention all the little fees, etc. He didnt tell me about the add-ons until I questioned it. Sneaky.When it was obvious we were too far apart, he was rude and dismissive. I asked for a copy of the quote. He replied, That stays here. and walked off. No goodbye, thanks for coming in, etc.Peter took the time to show me the price without the packages, and then offered to try to get more for the trade-in. However, I was so turned off at that point that I didnt want to pursue the deal.Additionally, a second issue was professionalism on the part of the sales manager. I know since COVID, our dress standards have relaxed, but I would never have guessed this man was a sales professional. He was generally unkempt, wearing a t-shirt that appeared faded and worn. He had no name tag, or logo on his attire to indicate he worked there. I realize it was a Friday, but this was way beyond casual Friday.I had hoped to buy local as I live in Union County, but it was not to be. Charlotte, here I come.Update:Went to Keffer Hyundai, just up the road in Matthews. Yes, we played the back and forth game with price, but came to an agreement. I dealt with Farris, Charles and Sales Manager, Chris. Everyone was super nice and easy to work with. They emailed me a copy of their quote so I could compare it with other area dealers. I checked with dealers in Ft. Mill, South Charlotte, Hickory and Southern Pines. All said the Keffer deal was better than they could do. When I got to dealership yesterday to purchase the car, we realized car didn’t have cross bars. They ordered a set, at NO additional charge! Drove my new Santa Fe Calligraphy home!

My service advisor, Asia Smith, is just amazing. She always takes great care of me and my Santa Fe at every service I schedule. She is always smiling, and is extremely polite, friendly, and very professional. She sets the standard on how a Service Advisor should be, and always goes over and above how to properly treat customers. I would give Asia 10 stars, but only 5 were available.
Buying my car at Bob Mayberry was the best decision that I have ever made! I have owned my Tucson since 2016 and I have loved it and I still love it. The service department is incredible. I have my car serviced regularly and when I do get it serviced I dont have to wait long and they dont come out with a long list of things that need to be done like other dealerships do. If I have questions they politely answer them and explain their answers. I particularly love the fact that all of the customer service reps are all very nice and always informative about my vehicle. So I just want to say Thank You for giving me such a delightful experience each and every time that I come there.
I have been here twice in the past three years, both times ready to purchase a vehicle on the spot. However, both times i was very disappointed. I felt very uncomfortable from the moment I walked in the door, no one was wearing masks or following any type of COVID precautions. Second, I had inquired earlier in the week about a vehicle, and spoke with a representative, when we got there, the rep we spoke to passed us off to someone else who had no idea what were looking for. I was very specific about which car i wanted, and when asked to be shown that vehicle, i was actually taken to a car that was $20k more than the one I asked for, but was reassured it was the right model. Trusting that the sales person knew what he was showing me, I test drove the car, loved it, but when we went back the sales manager became very aggressive and rude. It was only after they ran my credit and started talking about numbers that it was revealed that we were shown the wrong and most expensive model. We were told we were still interested, but wanted to go look at some other options, the manager said he would get back to us within an hour to let us know if a deal could be made, but we never heard from anyone from that dealership again. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, if you are looking for hyundai take the extra time to drive to keffer down the street, they are much more covid safe, and reasonable.

Called to day a early morning service issue. Our former dealer couldnt get us in for service for days in spite of us leaving in 2 days on vacation. Car was towed in and Joey in service was awesome, got out car in, diagnosed and repaired in 1 day and saved an additional unneeded vacation expense. We will be changing and doing our business at Bob Mayberry Hyundai from now on
We make buying here a family affair. Three generations of my family all have purchased vehicles from Bob Mayberry and the buying process was pleasant. I told Jacob exactly what I wanted and what I wanted to pay and that’s what he made happen. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles on the lot and is very genuine. I bought a used vehicle and there were some very small issues after the purchase but the team did not hesitate to make them right! Kadie in service is a pleasure to work with. I typically dread dealing with a service department at a dealership but she made the process so easy and efficient. She’s top notch!

I got the Spring special from a coupon. Took about an hour and a half for the oil change and checking fluids.Nice waiting room. Need seats arranged more in line with social distancing.Asia was great and she had a mask but some of the other customers in the waiting area did not. This was not a problem until one lady, without a mask, sneezed five times. Literally.I was ok only because I did wear a mask, but I did consider walking to another area.
I had an extremely positive experience at Keffer Hyundai. The staff was professional, courteous and very transparent. My contact was ”Big Ed”, which I highly recommend. The dealership you want to avoid is Fort Mill Hyundai, unless you have not been to a circus in a long time, and enjoy wasting your time.
Very friendly and attentive staff. My car is very well taken care of with Mayberry. Even if you don’t buy your vehicle from them, they are still happy to service it for whatever you may need. Great dealership!!
