I would like to take a moment and thank Randy Barber for his patience and taking the time to answer all my many questions I had on my list. His calm personality and professional demeanor made my experience a smooth process. I had a couple of concerns with a seat belt and interior panel that he immediately made the appt for, so the service area could have a look and the necessary repairs to be addressed. I am pleased so far with my purchase and would like to thank the entire team for their time. She’s a beauty!
Overall worst buying experience ever, if I could go back I would have never bought the vehicle due to all the red flags. I was communicating about a vehicle and when I arrived they stated the vehicle had been in a wreck after driving 40 minutes there. Then I was interested in a different vehicle (what I ended up purchasing) and we agreed on a price and he comes back and says that was for the wrong vehicle its actually more. One of the inside mirrors are broken (waiting to be replaced) and also was not aware the vehicle does not come with auto start from outside of the vehicle. Was promised we could add it I just had to pay a little extra and dropped my vehicle off for 4 days and was told I could pick it up just to get it back and it not work and have not heard anything back since. Overall Randy is a great salesman but the company does not check there vehicles and do not clean their vehicles. I even brought my spouse and she purchased a vehicle and we traded in both our old cars as well. I do not recommend.
We recently purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership on Saturday.Let me start my saying Randy has an amazing personality and good customer service. The 2 vehicles that we got were FILTHY. The only thing they did to them was clearly vacuumed. Old good stains in the doors and steering wheel and roof top of car. The cars that are on the lot were clearly not ready to be driven off once purchased. Mirrors were cracked etc. when calling to speak to a manager, they fail to follow up and call back as promised.I’ve purchased vehicles before and this was by far the worst experience. Please follow of with your customers and don’t make us have to keep contacting you for more information. Buying a vehicle should be exciting and stress free. This has not been. If I could return my car I would.
I was sold an used lemon and bad work quality. I bought an used 2015 dodge charger from this dealer. Less than 2 months of buying it there was knocking coming from the engine so the engine needed to be replaced which took a month. There are scratches in the engine bay and broken clips all over. In addition 3 days after picking up the car now the abs and stability control lights come on and when they come on cruise control doesnt work.

One of my best vehicle buying experiences in a few years. I was looking for a specific RAM 1500 V6 truck on True Car for the last 6 months or so. I found a 2021 RAM 1500 Laramie at this dealership. I sent an email stating I was interested in buying the truck. My salesman Willie Conner responded to my message. He arrange a time for my wife and I to view/test drive the vehicle. Great salesman wasn’t pushy, very knowledgeable answered all our questions plus worked to get us a fair price for the truck. Great customer service and meet our expectations.

In the midst of the crazy truck market, Daniel and Andy were simply awesome to work with. In this world of automation and car dealers sending you only canned messages, it was refreshing to deal with an old school dealership. I like to buy cars from people that I like and with a decent shot of returning and finding the same people there. That is rare in 2021. Went to buy a Dodge Journey but the dealership would not sell me the vehicle unless I purchased a BG protection plan AND interior protection plan. I understand that the dealership can sell their vehicles at any price they want to but to list the price publicly and then CHANGE that price because they want to sell in house products is just shady.We worked with a gentleman named Tyler Trent who was put in the middle of a bad situation but defended the practice anyway.If I cant trust my dealer at the sale, how am I going to trust their in house protection.Its a shame that in todays economy we still have dinosaurs still bullying customers at car dealerships.Well certainly purchase a vehicle, just not from these shady characters.What a shame. We like the Dodge brand.
WOW car number 5 with Kim! This was our best experience so far. Because Kim has taken the time to continue to get to know us over the years it was even more simple. We were able to call her, text her and pick out our next new car from the comfort of our home. We never want to spend hours in a dealership again and Kim, Wayne and Capitol made it happen! We were only there about 30 minutes and we drove off with our new beautiful Grand Cherokee named Ruby!

Very bad experience I took my truck to them om September 1, 2021 for a exhaust gasket replacement that they recommended. They had my truck there for nine days ! they told me that there were three bolts broke off in the manifold and that they were having a hard time getting the bolts out. Here is the kicker ! after Capital dodge jeep service advisor called me to pick up my truck, as of today I still here the same so called exhaust leak that they charged me over 1300.00 dollars to fix!! I have been taking my truck there for over 5 years for oil changes but I will never ever take my truck back to them again.

I spent over 2 months hunting for the perfect car today I stopped at several dealerships when I pulled in Steve was out side welcomed me just as I got out my car he asked me a few questions I told him what I was looking for and went straight to it.. I had to go back to work while working Steve worked and come back with great news that he was able to put me into a new 2017 jeep renegade altitude its beautiful I love the car and even tho I didnt get out of work till 10 Steve and Brian stayed at the store to make sure they delivered the car to me when I was off work VERY VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER loved the guys that made this happen will definitely send some there way and keep my business with them

Not the greatest experience so far ! Maybe things will change and I sure hope so but so far not so good ! Bought a used vehicle and asked several questions before the drive down and once I arrived nothing matched up after the test drive asked about a problem said a tech checked it and was fine and said they did a 121 point inspection so I went ahead with the purchase and the drive home wasn’t great so took it to a local to me dealer and they called within 15 min and said that it had several issues that are safety issues so I contacted capitol of Indian trail back and they said they won’t pay another dealer to fix something they can fix ? Well why wasn’t is fixed in the 1st place customer satisfaction is not what they are about and the detail / wash job was terrible didn’t even clean the windows i mentioned it also and the salesman said they had 2 women and were terrible so take it how you want ! I also have screen shots of messages between me and the salesman to back up everything I’ve said and more
Went to take care if an airbag issue, and Service Advisor Harvey Hunt was top-notch from start to finish! I highly recommend Capitol CDJR of Indian Trail for any and all of your service needs!
UPDATE TO POST.....I want to commend the point of service contact, JESSICA, as she made a point to call me and apologize to me personally for my unhappiness with the service I received. She truly took to heart my comments and definitely wanted to make things right. Kudos, Jessica, for being professional and concerned about how upset I was and taking the initiative to address the issues stated in my previous post.Made appointment for our Ram 3500 for a Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. to have oil change, brakes checked and general diagnostics. Service point of contact was Jessica. She wasnt overly friendly and took the key and gave me her card and said she would call me to let me know what was going on. Three hours later I called to see what was happening and she couldnt tell me anything. She placed me on hold and then asked if I could leave my truck until Monday and she would call me Monday morning. Never heard from her. Left a message and she still never called to let me know the status. I had to call her again and she still couldnt speak intelligently as to what the status was and again said she would call me back. Nothing. I texted her and when she called me she went over the work and I was told it would be $6,700! I asked for a breakdown and got an email with handwritten notes with dollar amounts. Nothing professional whatsoever. Told her that was not in the budget. Now it is Tuesday morning and I called to let her know I would pick up the truck around 1:00 p.m. She said that was fine I asked how much I owed and she said only for the diagnostic work and oil change. I show up at 1:20 p.m. and they hadnt even done the oil change! 3 days they had my truck and nothing was done. I then had to wait 50 minutes while they changed my oil!. HORRIBLE place for service and Jessica needs a hard lesson in communication and customer service. Never will I ever consider this place for buying or service.

The service department is horrible. My car has been there for 4 days and I can never get ahold of my service advisor. I can never get a call back and they still cant even tell me whats wrong with my car.
Great experience with Capital. Purchased a 2016 odyssey from them and a couple days after I bought it, the sliding door started having an issue. Even though I declined an additional warranty, Keith at Capital covered the cost of the repair. Very helpful staff and great customer service.

We purchased our 21 Durango from Matt. Matt is an awesome guy and even better salesman. He was easy to talk to, engaging and knowledgeable. We purchased thru the dealership and Chrysler Capital and are very pleased with them as well. Wayne in financing makes things smooth and painless. I am not a fan of car buying but they have earned our business by going above and beyond. This was our families first ever purchase of a brand new car, well worth it.
Not good. First time I had trouble with my new car called in and talked to sales person and customer service manager who informed me they had no idea how to fix so they suggested I call toe truck.Since I was broke down in drivein window at back and had a lot of people mad a checked internet and I was informed by another customer who had same issue how to fix it. Took 2 seconds and I was on my way.I guess once they get your money your on your own.
In my experience this dealership is not willing to really deal with a customer in a meaningful way. Better deals with considerable savings are available elsewhere. They have lost the sale of two vehicles to me personally in the last few months. The most recent vehicle is still sitting on their lot now 3 plus weeks past the point where I would have closed the deal for a reasonable offer. We are enjoying our new 2019 pre-owned Jeep Wrangler Unlimited at a price $2230 below Capitals best offer. Same vehicle features compared by window stickers and mileage.I dont know if this is at the sales manager level or he has orders from above. Regardless, I wont go back. They get 2 stars because there staff are very polite. That was the only reason I went back for a second attempt after they lost the sale on a new Jeep Grand Cherokee, which we purchased in Greensboro at $1000 below Capitals best offer. Same exact vehicle, which had to be traded from a dealer in Charlotte.Respectfully submitted. Hope you take note and make a change.

I recently came to this dealership in search of a Dodge Charger scatpack and matt freking helped me out with the whole experience. He made sure i had a reasonable monthly payment and had really good communication skills with me during the whole process. He made sure it was clean and presentable and even gave me some water when i was thirsty i highly recommend any in the indian trail area or nc area in general to come here and get themselves a charger, challenger, etc whatever vehicle you are interested into.
I was in the need to buy a bigger car early this spring and had always wanted a Jeep. I checked online and found a very nice Jeep Compass Trailhawk. I loved the way it looked and the price that I knew I was needed to act fast on it. I messaged to make sure the car was still on the lot and Sergio reached out to me not even 10 minutes after to let me know it was. I was on the lot 30 minutes later and Sergio had to car up front ready for me to take a look at. We were able to get a deal done within a hour. I also needed to get a hitch put on the vehicle and they were able to make that happen. I took the car for a couple days and brought it back for my hitched to be placed and it was ready within 2 hours!!! It has been about 7 months and I’m still in love with the vehicle and the customer service I received! Thanks again!
What a fantastic experience! They listened to what I wanted and gave me the car that fit my needs and wants. Andy and Kim were knowledgeable and pleasant. They even told me about discounts that were available through my job that I did not know about. Wayne, the finance manager, worked with me to get my payments where they needed to be and I did not feel a bit of pressure. They did all my paperwork beforehand so I was in and out of the dealership within 40 minutes and while I was buying the car they were detailing it. This place had my Jeep for 3 weeks. Started I only wanted a diagnostic run on it then I had to call them 3 days later to find out they found out it was electrical issue and had started fixing before consulting with me. THEN I pick it up after 3 weeks with a dead battery a newly broken hood latch and my taillights no longer working at night. THEN I over heat on the way home because all of sudden my electric fan wasn’t plugged in. No big deal, BUG THEN my transmission starts shifting rough and check engine light comes on because I have a bad transmission speed sensor, WRONG. It was unplugged too. This place is terrible. I’ll never go back and they just wanna deny everything. I took it to them to fix and got all new problems due to probably laziness. If you need work done please save yourself the stress and go else where

I get my Ram truck and wifes Jeep serviced here. I value excellent service and am quite particular about that. I continually get great service. Im sure everyone is good, but, Jim Levinski is my service manger and they dont get any better than him. Many years of knowledge and experience, always pleasant to deal with, and always responsive to give me updates when my vehicles are there (I recommend you use their text system and not tie up the phones). CDJR is a very good dealership, but people like Jim are why Im loyal.
Called at 9:15am to start a deal on a used vehicle, they pulled my credit, I was approved and started the buying process via phone. Another person came into the store during our deal to look at the same car and they sold it out from under me. (Pretty sure because I decided to finance with my bank and not them)Such horrible business ethics. Will NEVER buy from this dealership or recommend buying from this dealership!
Our salesman Matt came out and greeted us. We told him what we were looking for and he said we have that, let me find it. So we walked around and saw the vehicle we finally ended up purchasing and begin asking about it. Matt was really nice and was on the ball of answering our questions or making sure he found out the answer. Got to the negotiation part, and not shooting the messenger (Matt), but told him we didn’t have much time and wasn’t wanting to waste time negotiating, so let’s get this done. We ended up having to walk out, but they finally came around to what we were willing to pay. They were not the typical sales members and managers, they had a personality about it. It turned out to be a pretty easy deal. I would buy from Capital Chrysler again. I feel they were pretty fair on this deal. I know dealerships have to make money, but I don’t feel like they were trying to make a historic profit off me. I feel like they would want to make two quick nickels instead of one long dime!!!

Great car buying experience! Our salesperson Kim was highly knowledgeable and after a brief discussion on the phone where she asked me several questions...we pulled in today and she showed us the one vehicle that met all of our criteria on price, miles, year, make model and far more features than expected. No pressure, no nonsense, and after a week of searching online all over Charlotte, Kim at Capital found exactly what I wanted.
We could not have asked for a smoother car buying experience. Randy did not pressure me in any way. It took about 3 hours and that included a pretty extensive test drive. Very fair deal and great selection of vehicles. Sean in Finance, ensured that we understood everything we signed. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Service department was laying to me for a year, refusing to replace battery. Then I took battery off brought to parts department and they would not replace it. So 36 month warranty worth nothing. Avoid this place.Update (response to owner) - Thank you for your quick response, I will decline. Reason is this. I came over to your dealership 3 separate times with the same issues, it was refused services. On top of that I have called Mopar Customer Service, they have pulled the records when this battery was replaced. It was done at your dealership in November 2018. They also could not understand refusal by your service department or even parts department.Thank you.
Let me start by saying, I searched for over 2 weeks for a truck after I had my accident. It was a nightmare, dealing with the small independent dealerships in Charlotte, Gastonia and other small towns in between. Then a search for trucks in Indian Trail landed me on Capitals website. From the beginning to the end was an incredible experience. The online representative on a Sunday setup my test drive for 10am, Monday morning. Sergio, my sales rep, was waiting for me when I arrived. There was never any pressure, I was immediately allow to take a solo test drive, Sergio even offered to let me take it home to show my wife. The truck had a clean Carfax and was priced below market value. They still came off the price and made my payments where I needed them to be. I walked out in less than 2 hours with my truck, a smile on my face and a feeling of This is what a truck buying experience should feel like. Capital will always have my business and Sergio was the epitome of professionalism. Great Job!! Keep up the Good Work!!
The service experience was exemplary. My service advisor, Jim was fantastic. My only complaint was that the vast majority of employees and guests were either not wearing face masks or wearing them improperly. If this isnt stressed and enforced by management, I cant bring myself or family back for the foreseeable future. I hope that wont be the case.
Had a recall part on my car got in and out in no time service was excellent 👍👍

I 100% recommend going to Capital of Indian Trail. I visited the dealership about 4 times as I couldn’t decide what i wanted. Johnathan, the salesman that helped me, was extremely patient and most importantly not pushy as one would expect from a salesperson. It was an overall pleasant experience.

Incredible customer service experience with the sales staff especially Brian Duluc. He was courtesy, considerate, answered all of my questions. As we negotiated the price he was calm cool and collected as I was a difficult sale. I tend to try to pay less for everything. The manager Robert was helpful and shared 4x4 trail info with me so I may have a new 4X4 buddy soon. And last but not least her incredible hard work and customer devotion showed while getting the best interest rate for me is Wendy in Finance. WOW. I really felt like she was really watching out for my best interest during the financial end of the sale. If you want to buy a JEEP, this is the crew I would recommend. Our sales person was Johnathan and he was great. We told him what we wanted and the payment we wanted and he made it work. He was honest and friendly. We had gone to several dealerships that said they could make our payment work and then showed us payment options $100 over what we wanted. We got exactly what we wanted at Capital and it didn’t take us a whole day to do it. The finance man, Wayne was friendly and super quick. We were in and out. Great experience.
Will Conner did such a great job with helping me purchase a car! He did absolutely everything he could to get me the best terms possible as he knew I was working within a specific budget. There was no hard selling, just information and details about what was feasible for my purchase, and it was left up to me to make decisions about what I was comfortable with. I would definitely recommend this dealership and plan to purchase from there again in the future.
