Helpful and sent me to someplace that could resolve my issue when they knew it was beyond them
This is a great place to get tires. They also do some work on vehicles as well. They are always quick with their service and everyone is helpful and friendly.
I had a great experience. Im away from home 2,000 miles and they got me right in and out no problem. Ryan was great along with all other staff.
Very helpful and looked really busy...all bays full. This was the first time to stop in and I checked prices on tires. They have some great warranties
Cannot say enough good about the care and quality of service. Ryan (store manager) was exceptional. On road trip alternator failure, towed to this store, vehicle taken in first thing on a Sunday morning and on the road again an hour later. Great staff, customer care exceptional.
These folks are the real deal. Super helpful. They really try to help with THE problem, not run your price up as far as they can. This is a good place to take your car.
On a Sunday morning my car has not 1 but 2 flat tires. I do a quick Google search and find that Firestone is the only show in town open on a Sunday. So here I come...I call a tow truck and arrive in short order. I go in with my dog because you know where I am going to put her. They were so fantastically nice. Dealing with me, my car and dog. I totally had to wait a few hours, which was totally understandable. And, when all was said and done they were able to patch my 2 tires and it came to a whopping $19.99!I mean really, 20$ to take off 2 tires, find the holes, patch them and put them back on, on a Sunday! Youve had my business before and things like this really win me over. Customer for life.
I was visiting from Idaho. My drive shaft broke. This was the only shop in town that would take my car. There was a part in town and they fixed my car the next day and I was able to enjoy my visit to Missoula and friends. Great staff and friendly
They are unfailingly courteous. I have always been happy with the service and repairs there. If price is an issue they may not be the best option.
Great shop. Better prices than les schwab and same coverage and warranty!! Plus free tire rotation!! Happy I tried them after years with Schwab!
Very helpful to a senior couple with car problems. Friendly staff that made sure we were able to continue on our trip.
Have not bought tires yet, as I need to review my quotes. BUT just had a wonderful experience with Tabitha over the phone. I know nothing about cars and the tires that move them, yet she made me feel comfortable and competent!! You don’t always get that at a repair/tire shop. Plus, she was kind of funny:) Thank you for the help! Go T.
6hrs into a 28 hr road-trip across country, we had a blow out. These guys installed the proper TPMS unit (wrong one installed by Hillsboro Oregon Jiffy Lube on Imbrie just a couple weeks before) mounted and balanced the tire and sent me down the road quickly for under $200.
Always go here for last minute appointments and they are always prompt with good service.
They treated my 80 year old Mom with the usual care & consideration. Thanks!
Simple and easy❤️
Ive visited this location twice now only because I live 500 miles away. First visit about 5 years ago on Saturday at closing time with a punctured tire and the second visit today at opening time. What an amazing experience. Both time the serive was punctual, professional, and most helpful. If I lived here I would be a regular customer.Thank you for your assistance it is greatly appreciated.
I have received good care and advice from all employees, but I want to emphasize that without my request they looked for an employee who speaks my language so that I have no doubts about what was happening to my car. So they have treated me in Spanish as well as having a very good price compared to other workshops in the area.I will definitely come back when I need something for my vehicle.Thanks.
Took 3 hrs to repair 1 tire.
Better than it has been for me in the past, but definitely not the place I prefer to take my vehicles.
Quick and professional. Thank you.
We got a flat tire while vacationing in Montana, we stopped at this location with our tire, and they got a new tire for us in less than 15 minutes. Ryan took care of us, he was very friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. I would definitely recommend!
Fantastic service, knowledgeable staff, highly recommended!
I was so impressed with the team here at this Firestone! Sure, they were obviously very knowledgeable about all of the automotive services they provide--they mounted some new wheels/tires for me--but it was the customer service that really sold me: helpful, attentive, patient and respectful--even with it busy. Ill be going back!
I came in for a complete vehicle inspection (see pic) on a car I was going to buy. They saved me from buying a piece of junk that had oil leaks all over the engine in addition to other issues. It took a little bit longer than I expected to look it over, but it only cost $22 and they definitely saved the day. Even though Im a girl and the industry is notorious for taking advantage of that, they were very honest. Everyone was kind, helpful, and straight with me. Thank you!
Very friendly staff and no complaints from me- happy to take my car here. Thanks. :)
My husband and I were from out of town and got stranded in Missoula due to an issue with one of our brakes, and Firestone was able to get our car fixed on a Sunday in a reasonable amount of time despite being short staffed and having many appointments before us. Excellent service and would highly recommend.
Had a flat on my boat trailer and pulled in on Saturday at 5:30pm. Had me back on the road at 6:00. I’m from out of town, I put the other 3 tires on new at my local tire dealership that I have used for 30 years and my local shop charged me more per tire. Missoula Firestone was amazing!!
Went to ask if my vehicle was safe to take on a road trip. I explained my situation and they looked at it for free, didnt try to force me to buy anything or spend thousands of dollars. Firestone just gave me an honest opinion and were happy to do so even when they were busy
I have been a lifelong customer of a different tire company, but was interested in Forestones lifetime alignment deal so I decided to try them out. Unlike the other company, my scheduled appointment was honored by Firestone and my truck pulled into the bay minutes after I dropped the truck off. Not only were they willing to mount my oversized tires, but Billy worked with me on what I wanted done with my alignment (I have light racing upper control arms that are adjustable.) Overall they had great customer service and got everything done in a timely manner. I highly recommend Billy for an alignment, they should give that guy a raise.
They happily helped me out of a bind despite being slammed on a holiday weekend Sunday when most other tire shops were closed. Thank you.
I ordered tires from Tirerack.com and had an excellent installation at the Firestone store. I was able to set up an appointment quickly. The first set of tires I ordered was too large for my vehicle and there was no charge for the attempt. I returned that set and reordered another and when they arrived was again able to set an appointment promptly. I was welcomed and quickly processed. The installation was completed in a reasonable amount of time, including the installation of new TPMS sensors. The price for the installation was less than $100 which I thought was very fair. On another day, they removed my snow tires and reinstalled my summer tires for less than $25 - very fair given that I did not purchase the wheels or tires there. Sales staff were friendly and pleasant and did not try any high pressure tactics to up sell any other services. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. They definitely will get my return service.
They got me in and out fast. Friendly and courteous.
Needed tires on a sunday, they had a good selection available and got me in and out within thier quoted timeline. Will use them agian.
I went to this store today at noon needing a flat repaired for my college student’s car. I had the tire off and was willing to drop it off. The store is open until 6pm. I was told they couldn’t get it done until the next day. I told them I was leaving town the next morning and thought 6 hours for a simple flat repair isn’t unreasonable to expect. I had bought tires from this store in the past but there is no way that will happen again. I’ve owned my own business for 20 years and couldn’t imagine not finding a way to complete such a simple request. It could’ve been done in 5 minutes. Very poor service.
In and out and comprehensive. Great work within 30 minutes.
Good service and communication!!
Online Scheduling does not match up with in house schedule. I ordered tires from TireRack.com and had them delivered to Firestone and set a schedule to get the tires installed. Turns out the they cannot honor the online schedule date I set and the tires have already been shipped.
These guys were very helpful with information even tho they were busy beyond relief! They were not able to help me because they didnt have the capability or the tire in stock.
I went in on 06/21/20 to get new brakes and tires for my Subaru it cost me 1399.79 to get it done I trusted they did a good job but found out they tightened them to much and now 4000 miles later my brakes are making a godawful screech and got told it is my brake calipers and now I need to redo my whole brake system. Do not trust these people to do your brakes i get to see what damage they caused to my car this Sunday.
Its closed to the public. I dont know for how long since theres no message on their phone.
I had the best customer experience here. The people are friendly, personable and knowledgeable! They are honest and trustworthy. They treat women equally which all places should but the Auto industry is notorious for not doing this. They provided me with the most accurate timeline they could for completion and over delivered on it. Ill be needing tires for my car soon, and after the experience with my girlfriends vehicle Im not even looking at anyone else. Firestone all the way!!!!!
They had my truck for 5 days. Said ignition module had failed. They replaced module. Here i sit on side of the road with the same problem I took the truck in for. Their BS warranty only covers the parts they replace, not their missed diagnostics.
Had break noise on a vehicle I purchased a year previously. Figured its time for brake pads, maybe rotors. Lots of break dust on wheels, a bit of extra travel on the pedal.Need new brakes, yeah?So I get an appointment for an oil change and brake job. I dont think they even changed the oil. I basically paid $100 for them to top off my brake fluid which was not low enough to cause issues (just below full). Brakes are still bad, I specifically said to replace the pads and let me know if they need rotors. Did not perform the work asked. I am no mechanic, but Im no idiot.
I got a flat tire shortly before they closed. I had to be towed and it took awhile to do so. They were super friendly and accommodating and got me taken care of quickly.
Brought in my vehicle because I had not been able to start it without a jump. They supposedly did a complete check of the battery, alternator and electrical system. They called me the next morning saying that they had no trouble starting it and that everything checked out fine. When I went to pick it up that evening it would not start!! The gal at the counter did not seem overly concerned. Had to get a jump from one of the Techs who also informed me that this was the kind of stuff that made him put in his 2 week notice. Ended up paying over 90 bucks for what amounted to an oil change. I now doubt any of the checks or work they claimed was even accomplished. I had suspicions before on prior work but this pretty much nailed it. Will now be going elsewhere for my tires and auto care needs. BTW, I had been a loyal customer for over a decade, using various locations around the country.
Love these guys they got me in and always take good care of me and my vehicle. Thanks
Went in to have my alignment done as my car is pulling strongly to the right. Its within the given specs but Im still convinced that it could be aligned as I cant let go of the steering wheel and hold it at a slight angle. At the same time asked for a the free brake inspection that was advertised. I was told TWICE in a demeaning fashion that I only need to replace my brakes every 100K miles. Was then quoted $550 for a brake job that takes an hour and a half to complete and parts cost $75 on rockauto the quote included the wrong parts. Was told I could still drive my car as is and that the brakes would get by for another 2 months at minimum and I had prematurely worried. Had someone pull the brakes off my car two weeks later and the pads were metal on metal. Id say that was a complete fail on firestones part. Not impressed and definitely didnt enjoy the demeaning attitude from the associate when I am clearly correct about my brakes. I even went into the appointment telling them they were squeaking. Hoping this is a one time issue. Because Ive had decent other experiences but this left a bad taste in my mouth. Currently looking for different service provider.
Nice place but Mounting my custom rims they put a pretty big nick in one of them, I would not have minded much but they never said a word and I found it later when mounting the wheels on the car at home, I NEVER let shops jack up my cars or remove the wheels, im super careful with my cars. Oh well live and learn I guess......
We ran into some unexpected car troubles on a holiday weekend. This was the only place open in Missoula on a Sunday and the staff was extremely professional, friendly, and kind. They could have taken advantage, since we were on a tight schedule and it was a Sunday, but instead, made us feel at ease and got us back on the road in no time. Many thanks!
Firestone in Missoula has seriously gone down hill. I’ve owned my car for 8 years and have done most of the work at Firestone. Including buying a lifetime alignment. I stopped by this past Saturday because I have a leak in my tire. I was told they couldn’t get me in all weekend! For a flat repair and I’m pretty sure my tires are still under warranty here. The lady at the front was also rude and not even providing a date or time that would be suitable for an appointment. I decided to take my car to another tire shop in town that told me they couldn’t fix my tire because of the wear it had due to never receiving an alignment, but I know I took my car in for an alignment after buying new tires one year ago from Firestone. Needless to say Firestone never did a requested alignment after buying new tires. I know this because after asking for the specs from the alignment I was told their machine was broken? Now I am stuck most likely buying new tires because of the poor service this store now has. I received much better service at the shop that couldn’t even fix my tire. I know I will not be returning to Firestone in Missoula.
Very friendly and helpful even though all I needed was a valve stem replacement. Super nice guys!
Awesome. Again.
I had a great experience with this store. They put new tires on my truck for a great price. They also did an oil change. Awesome customer service. They kept me apprised of every step. I will be returning.
Staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable with all questions. Very patient and accepting to last minute changes to what services are being done. Honored my appointment time. Military supportive and I recommend this shop to anyone!
Dropped a car off to get the over heating issue fixed. They called and stated that the thermostat was bad, had them replace that after doing so and paying $400.00 found out the motor was bad. They charged me for a coolant pressure test and could find that the head gasket was bad. It also had a internal coolant leaking in to the number 2 cylinder. Called the GM of the service dept and he told me it was nothing they would of found in a pressure test...… REALLY????????????? I asked to speak with the District Manager he gave me the number, I called him and no call back 5 hours later. Dont waste your time here. I see nothing but horrible reviews.
Excellent service! Very professional. I always enjoy the respect and service I get from my local Firestone.
The best auto care shop in Missoula! Frank, Kevin, Tyler, and Seth (who I always request to work on my car) are the most trustworthy team that I have ever found. They have gotten me out of some pretty rough tough situations with my car and make sure that it is safe for my two children and I. Thank you for everything that you all do. You are the most skilled and knowledgeable.
Good people good prices
This place has its good and bad. Sometimes I love their service, other times Im not impressed. They tend to be one those shops that will push other repairs on you when picking up your vehicle. But they also do quality work though.
This place got our family out of a pickle twice. The first time was on a Sunday during the summer rush. I had gotten a flat the night before and had on my spare, but the spare had never been road tested and had been living under my truck for ten years. I needed to get back to Billings(5 + hour drive) pulling a trailer. Not only were they the only place open on a Sunday, they got me in right away, fixed the flat, checked the rest of the tires, and put my spare back under the truck. They didnt even charge me for the time or repair. The second time my daughter( who drives 45 min each way to work everyday) found her tire was low after returning home from work. She made it over to their shop with 15 minutes before they closed and they not only fixed her valve stem leak but stayed 45 min after they closed and didnt charge her. I dont live in Missoula, but they have hit a Home Run both times we have used them. This is the only review I have ever done on Google, but they impressed us so much I felt they needed to know. THANK YOU
Not complete care. Mentioned i wanted to check all the fluids. Including transmission and what not. Said i was best to look for a diesel shop. So no. Not complete care.
They were super sweet and helpful. I went in for a leak in my tire, which it turned out the bead of the tire was corroded. They let me know everything that was going on, it was super quick, and a very reasonable price.EDIT: unfortunately, a lot went down after this and i got very little explanations for the problems with my vehicle and also ended up dealing with a lot of flat tires due to the tires they had put on my Jeep. Granted, that can’t be all their fault since a couple times it was a nail, and no tire can handle that, but the tires themselves wore down very quickly and i didn’t feel safe driving with them. They were kind people, but they would tell me I had problems with things like the alignment not working but not being able to explain much further. One time they had done an alignment, my boyfriend was leaving firestone and my car suddenly started to hard shift from side to side. He took it back and had them redo it the next day when they were available, which they were kind enough to do while taking the price off from the first one, but it was so scary having to drive it back there and even after that the alignment felt off.
I was on a weeklong roadtrip trying to make it back to Oregon when my engine began to overheat. I managed to limp my way to Missoula. Unfortunately the next morning was a Sunday and very few places were open. I ran to Firestone as soon as they opened and prayed. The staff was super helpful and courteous. The cost was very reasonable and they managed to have my car fixed and thermostat replaced in just a few hours. I am so so thankful and cannot reccomend them enough!!!
I had a flat tire fixed here and couldnt be happier! They were professional, friendly and explained everything clearly. I learned new information about tires and got back on the road much faster than expected! Thank you for all of your help tonight!
Most unprofessional business i have ever been too. They are extremely overpriced and incorrectly installed parts. I am a mechanic and had just replaced a timing belt on my 2000 toyota tundra. I had mistakenly installed a lower radiator house wrong, both sides are similar. i took my truck in to get an alignment. They noticed the lower radiator hose had a small leak in it and called me to let me know. I asked them to replace it assuming the wouldnt charge a insane amount of a 110 dollars. It takes less then 4 minutes to change it. Not only do they overcharge, but they manged to install the part wrong. I visually inspected their work before driving away. Thankfully they didnt charge me extra labor. If you want honest people who do a good job and dont over i would not recommend this business.
We found employees very helpful and courteous. We stayed at a hotel next door and they even came over to the hotel lot for an initial look. They completed major work on a Sunday, no appointment, and finished an hour early. No issues with the car to date. Were very satisfied.
Usually very friendly and helpful. Knowledgeable staff. However, I do feel they are over-priced with no discounts for seniors or others of low income. I think Montanans should help one another when they can.
I made an appointment to have my oil changed. I also had a coupon for 19.99. This included 5 quarts of oil. I was told that my truck takes 6.4 and the uocharge made the total 31.40. I asked how long and he said they are backed up so at least an hour. This was frustrating because I made an appointment to speed things up but that didnt happen. While waiting I bought a sofa from their machine. It was flat, and dated over a year old. I told the guy helping me and he laughed and said oh Ill tell the guy.I felt like they didnt care about my time, or satisfaction. Even the soda was a joke. No reason to ever come back, can get the same treatment and price closer to home.
Ive gotten two sets of tires here and many different parts replaced on my car over several years. They have honored all warranties with tires as well as parts. If there were any issues with a repair it was corrected, sometimes above what was needed. Ive had work done in Missoula and even at the Spokane location. They also have some good coupon deals through e-mail that saves some money. Id recommend Firestone to anyone who asks.
I have been doing business with this shop for several years now. They are thorough and friendly and their shop prices are competitive and fair. I have had everything from normal preventative maintenance to installing a new engine in my truck. Customer service has always been good, transparent, and timely.I will continue to use them for my mechanical needs as long as Im driving a vehicle in Missoula.
This is the second time we have needed to use the Firestone in Missoula and BOTH TIMES have been impressed with this facility. They are very professional, helpful and get the work done on time and as promised. Highly recommend this facility.
Great service. Friendly staff. Ok prices. They fixed my car and did countless free tests.
If you dont know anything about cars they will lie to you about whats wrong with your car. Im sure glad I know a little about cars not to be cheated.Rotors they wanted $100 same part store they ordered from was only $50 for the part...today they wanted to charge me $80 for a inner tie-rod which same place they order from was only $40 the dealership was even cheaper $35 watch those prices!!
Always great service because the staff are top notch people that take pride in their work.
Great staff, got me right in and dealt with my fleet company.
Dont go here! Just took my vehicle in for a simple oil change and it took an hour and twenty minutes. I could have done it at home, with no lift in a half hour. I will not be coming back.
Do not buy tires from these guys. They will rip you off! Made a trip home from Texas on tires that were two and a half years old had two blowouts and a bad valve stem had to buy tires not from Firestone because I was in the middle of nowhere they would not reimburse me my money they wanted to give me tires that I did not need! Stay away from Firestone completely
Jay is absolutely the greatest there! He is always so helpful and efficient, and it is customer service like his that keeps us coming back time and time again with all of our car needs.
Helped to find appropriate tires for my needs. Wonderful customer service and timely service of my vehicle
Quick service got my car there just before closing and they threw all 4 tires on in less than an hour great people and service
Nice clean showroom and bathrooms but when I asked for my tire size they told me I had to be wrong so I looked at the tires on my Corvette and told them that 275/40/17s are correct. They couldnt get my tires for a week and they couldnt get the tires I wanted. Theres no way Im putting Kumho tires on a Corvette. No way
If you want to get lied to and cheated this is the repair shop for you!! The manager is an unabashed balled faced LIAR and cheat. I brought my truck in for a brake job that lasted about 500 miles. I brought the truck back in for rework and they told me it needed a bunch of new parts and labor. I told them to put the truck back together and I was going to bring it to another shop. When I brought the truck to another shop I found out that Firestone Missoula shop did not ever replace any of the parts that they told me that they did and of course they charged me for these parts. Called corporate office to complain and they will not respond. But they will respond when I sue them in court! !! They sent me back on my way on a 1200 mile trip in a vehicle that had a dangerous brake situation going on. BEWARE !!!!
Best customer service in sales and technician. Fixes the problem some day. I come 70 miles away because of the service.
Best deal on tires I could find in Missoula. They were super busy but put my car in right away and was out of there in no time. Really friendly, professional and understanding staff! I do not live in Missoula but would definitely recommend them.
They tested the battery and even helped replace it on my wifes car when they had no open appointments. They have always went above and beyond to help.
Very helpful. I was hearing a weird noise from my truck and was concerned it might be the front drive shaft as it was just replaced. I was physically unable to look under my vehicle to check it so I came here for help. The wait time was about 3 hours as it was snowing and everybody was getting their snow tires. The guy at the counter was awesome and came out and crawled under my SUV in the snow! He checked my driveshaft and assured me that it was securely in. I was able to drive home and have my husband further explore the noise. I was not charged anything by Firestone and they helped me tremendously. When I need new tires, I will absolutely come here!
Im lucky Im giving em one star . I would not recommend them to anyone . took my truck to them to fix a misfire and they refused saying I had a blown head gasket so they could gouge me for me money . took my truck to another shop for second opinion and found out my head gaskets were not leaking at all
I went in for new brakes but a lot more needed to be done so I got it done I would have to say that was a awesome experience my hubby and I want to thank Tammy and tyler for staying a lot longer then closing to make sure we could make it home tonight safe you guys rock
Quick, friendly service. All procedures explained in plain english
They have great prices but the last time I had an oil change, they over tightened and stripped the oil pan plug. When I took it back to have them take it off. I was charged for a full oil change. I wasnt even offered a discount even though there was a coupon available. If I wouldnt have found it myself it would have cost me $43.99
Did not try to over sell anything. Helpful staff with honest information.
It was great very nice people and very informative I like that tire store
Brought my boyfriends jeep in & they gave it back with issues that were not a problem until it was under their care. Horrible. After many times of speaking with management and repeating our concerns on how we will not be using their service, they continue to pressure us into bringing jeep back into them. $2,000 for their work and additional charges after we have a new shop repair the issues they caused. No thank u Firestone!
I had been there before, and thought Firestone was all right, but my latest experience was not good. I had an appointment, but my vehicle was not ready on time, and all they had to do was a radiator flush. There also was a slow leak in a plastic housing, and they acted like it was a big deal to get the part in a week. Then suddenly they said they could have it here in one day, and the charge to fix it was WAY too high, like around $300 - which was not even close to being credible. I dont believe I will be going back there.
These guys are always able to help me. Their friendly customer service agent in Missoula, Tristan (TJ), was very helpful and provided good insight to questions I had. I would recommend Firestone to anyone.
I am not one to write reviews, but I found my experience with Firestone to be exceptionally frustrating. I booked an appointment online to have my tires replaced and my appointment was confirmed the next morning. Yet, when I arrived for my appointment, I was told various excuses on why they did not have the tires I ordered. Until the man I talked to realized that I ordered online. Apparently, the online system does not contain their invintory, and, despite knowing this, Firestone still does not check tire availibilty before confirming appointments. I understand that accidents happen, but I had just bought a car that desperately needed new tires before heading out of town the next week and it seemed as though the man I spoke to saw this, and perhaps my youth, as an opportunity to put tires twice the original cost on my car. I was definitely disheartened by the complete disregard to honoring the original quote I was given and I was saddened that somewhere that is advertised as affordable has a disregard to price listings and inventory. Sounds like false advertising to me. For those of you looking for affordable tires in stock, this may not be the place for you. I will definitely be ordering from online tire outfits or other garages in the future.
Good service but was a little shocked that my oil change was $ more than back home in Maine. I thought the East Coast prices were going to be more for everything. Not oil changes, apparently.
