I have taken my pick-up to Midas many times in the last few years for an oil change for $29.99 with a coupon that comes in the mail. You also get a free tire rotation and a full engine inspection. I receive good customer service when I drop it off and pick it up. They always answer all of my questions when they hand me the engine inspection check list. In the past I went to different quick lube type places but got worse service and paid more. I always call to make an appointment and they are able to get my truck in the next day.

I had an appointment to get a catalytic converter and some exhaust pipe repairs. They told me upfront that it would take time. I came in at 1:00 pm and they closed at 4: 00. After about an hour a counter person let me know the cost and she said I didnt need a catalytic converter. About 3:30 a tech came out and told me the catalytic converter was actually just a shell and that the best thing was to replace it with a pipe. I wanted a catalytic converter but what I didnt want was a half a**ed job because they were almost closed and didnt have time to properly install it and do the repairs I had already waited hours for. I let them put me off and put in the pipe. I will never go there again. I will still have to go somewhere else and get a catalytic converter. I am surprised that was legal even in MT.

I needed new tires for my van, on a very tight timeline. Midas went out of their way to find a temporary solution for me until I could come back the next week and get the new tires put on. Incredible service to get me back on the road!

Called for an oil change and to find out about a check engine light but they couldnt do the check engine diagnosis for a couple weeks. What? Went to an auto parts store and got it done right away for free.

Brought in a car for a used car inspection. They found a problem right away and didnt even charge us for the inspection. Great customer service. We are bringing in another car today to be checked out.

Took my car in for an oil change not the best place in my opinion. The staff was friendly but the quote they gave me to fix the issues that they found with my car seemed overpriced and when I left there my car started smoking because they spilled oil on my exhaust manifold and so I had to smell burnt oil for the rest of the day so definitely not my best experience.

They incorrectly put on all four of my rim covers. I know nothing about cars and even I know to make sure the tire stem cutouts are lined up when putting the covers back on. How does someone mess up all four by accident?!

Love the employees great service very courteous. Thats my go to for oil change.

Went in to get a tire patched and they told me it wasnt salvageable (which was probably true); however, they then preceeded to nonchalantly give me a $1,600 estimate for 4 brand new tires instead of just the one tire. Considering how new the tires are that sounds ridiculous to me. Cant prove specific dishonesty but it still rubbed me the wrong way. Additionally, I watched the mechanic nearly hit another vehicle and some tires next to their front door with my vehicle.

My son and daughter in law was driving from Kellogg Id. To Brighton Colorado and their Exhaust pipe fell off and I called to see if they could fit them in so they could get home and midas was booked solid but they fit them in and they were back on the road. I am so glad midas was there to help Thank you Midas people Your The BEST

Not impressed with service. I waited two hours for my car to be done and they couldnt do anything within first couple mins and someone didnt change my phone number to call me and let me know. Was not happy

Called for a specific tire they didnt have it in stock so they ordered it in overnight and had it ready the next morning. Good service! Thanks guys** 7 months later we got a flat and they are refusing to fix it saying that we didnt buy the tire from them and they cant find us in the Computer.

Loose lugs and the tire almost fell off. Had to get a rental for 2 days at our expense. They rotated my tires every oil change and didnt notice IT WAS OUT OF ALIGNMENT causing my tire to wear wrong. Not even an appology.

Went in for an oil change and the service was great! Rotated my tires, checked my car out, and a bunch of other things I wasnt expecting. In and out in 30 minutes. The counter man was professional and got everything done.

They are very thorough! Got a call back saying that a belt was getting worn, so I had them replace it. While we were waiting, Stan the mechanic brought out the old belt and showed us exactly how it was wearing. I had also asked about aftermarket exhaust. He was very forthright about how much it would actually help my car (which was 0), and even admitted that he cant justify selling products to me that are ultimately a waste of money. I greatly appreciate the honesty.He also cracked puns and corny jokes with us, and another customer. Great place!

It is a pleasure to write this good review after I had an unpleasant experience at a different Midas franchise in Boise, ID (Fairview location). They happily honored the Midas warranty as defined in cases of poor workmanship. As an amateur mechanic, I don’t have the tools for some repairs and I draw the line when it comes to mufflers/exhausts. Unfortunately, my travels had taken me to Boise and out of convenience, I had my car worked on there 3 weeks prior.When my car was elevated, my non-trained eyes could easily pick the areas that the muffler center pipe was rubbing against the heat shield. There where also incomplete (sloppy) welds that had been made. I was impressed by the pride in workmanship for this warranty repair job that both the manager/owner and mechanic provided. In addition they showed a professional level of candor by not directly putting the other shop down. It was mutually understood by myself and the employees at this shop that the mechanics at the Boise Midas did not take a high level of pride in their trade. My car is now running much smoother and quieter. I am very thankful for the great service provided by this Missoula location.I recommend this shop and I sincerely hope this review leads to increased patrons of their services as they did a terrific job for me!

These guys didnt balance the tires correctly, 3 oz off on one and 1 oz on the other, service was less that inspiring. However, once notified of the issue, they partialy refunded me some money, they made it right! This was good service and I thank them for being good about it.

Asked for an oil change a headlight replacement and a quote on broken windshield wipers. Upon return I was told that I had to pay a fifty dollar “finders fee” because they had located the problem with the wipers. Only problem is I asked for a quote on fixing the wipers and wasn’t told a quote would cost me. I already knew they were broken but had to pay to hear they were broken! I should’ve been made aware of the purchase I was making. I feel taken advantage as a young woman especially after the way I was treated when addressing the problem. The situation was dealt with so poorly on Midas end and I will not be back.

I took my vehicle in for suspension work. They gave me an estimate for $2400 which I thought were high. I proceeded to take my vehicle to Firestone on Reserve they gave me a quote for same parts for $1218. I will never be back. Once I get home I will post the quotes side by side. Unbelievable.

Took my car in the other day. Went beyond what I usually expect from customer service from a garage. Hank even offered to give me a ride to work while the car was in the garage. Also saved me money by correcting a misdiagnosis from a dealership garage. 🙏

I brought my Subaru outback in to the Missoula based Midas shop to change my transmission fluid. I came back two hours later to find that the mechanics at Midas had changed my fluid. The negative comes when the woman at the counter information me that a lot of emergency worthy notification lights appeared on my dash. When I dropped of my car, there were no lights on the dash notifying me of any issues—i take care of my car and make sure to solve any issues that arise.I quickly went back into the shop and asked what had happened to my car that caused so many warning lights to come on. The woman behind the counter checked my car with their snap-on error reader—although It was apparent that she was unfamiliar with the device along with being unaware that you do not need to press down on the gas pedal when starting the car(fuel injectors do that already). She brought the mechanic, a salty and hung-over looking individual who had quite the unsavory deposition— out to do a check.He was unable to use the machine as well and with clenched teeth informed the woman that the device was malfunctioning due to a low battery. They brought my car back into the garage to check it, seeing if any wires were knocked loose. An hour later I was told that they ran the codes again and made sure everything was plugged in. They are currently calling the Subaru dealership to find out what is wrong.I can understand leaving with one light, but not the AT oil temp, differential, airbag, abs, and the check engine light. It leads me to question what transpired while they were changing the transmission fluid and why they are unable to fix the issue!! Logic dictates that they may have tried to create more issues to fix or something nefarious at the worst.Midas sent the vehicle to Subaru, who after being allowed to clear a few errors, discovered that the fault was with Midas. During the transmission fluid change, the mechanic at Midas wrecked the data line that ran next to the transmission fluid reservoir.Midas is trying to say that the issue is not their fault..... And they did not provide a loaner car so I could get around town. I am currently without a vehicle and unable to get to my family for Christmas. I am stuck here on my own thanks to Midas and their negligence.I warn every one who reads this: do not go to Midas.

We needed to upgrade our outdated RV tires and wheels. On our own we did lots of research and felt like it was such a daunting task. We called Midas in Missoula and got Hank on the phone. Not only did Hank do the research to help find what we needed he got us an amazing deal and was amazingly helpful with this issue. We have since traveled from Montana to California on the new tires/wheels and have be very satisfied. A smoother drive for sure!!! Thanks Hank!!!!

Was heading home from a long road trip and pulled off in Missoula for gas. Heard a loud scraping noise from the front tires. Midas fit me in and found the issue - likey rocks in the break assembly. They could have made something up and charged me an arm and a leg - which I would have paid with my wife and two boys along on the trip. They resolved it, put my truck back together and test drove it several times to make sure all was good, with no charge. I highly recommend these folks.

Great service, great job. (After Firestone Service Center wrecked my truck trying to pull out a rusty 02 sensor, dropped the front driveline, stripped the bolts). These guys fixed it promptly and properly. I will definitely use these guys from now on. Excellent work.

Everytime I call or visit, I get a good honest answer and a reasonable price. Once they looked at my truck and told me they couldnt help me but gave suggestion where to go. I recommend this Midas for service.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! DANGEROUS!!!Sexist, price changing, rude idiots!!I went in to switch from snow tires to all season and they didnt even do that right. I drove away and 2 hours later I had all flat tires. I called them and they said they could fix it in a couple weeks, unacceptable! They gave me a lot of guff to be able to get it in the next day and the fix didnt even take 20 mins, the valve stems werent tightened at all. They said I had to jack up my car and take off the tires myself and bring them in and couldnt have a tow truck drop off my car, so I ended up doing all that for them. They quoted $75 over the phone then after the service it became $120 and only accepts cash. They wanted an additional $20 cash only to fix what they messed up and I straight called corporate and while on hold all of a sudden I dont have to pay for their mistake that gave me all flat tires. I think that person skimmed money. Also, told me to tell my husband what work was done because as a woman I wouldnt understand.I contacted corporate and they accept credit/debit cards and havent had problems with their terminal that day, their rate is $67 not $120 for that service, and at least they apologized and said they arent allowed to charge if they made the mistake, the service is covered by them for 30 days. Corporate said they will contact the store owner/manager and they will contact me. The manager never did which makes me think he is in on the cash skimming scheme. This was almost a year ago and no follow up.I will never go there again and neither will any of my family, friends, or co-workers. Complete rip off, terrible service performed, worst customer service.

Brought my truck in for an oil change with a coupon. When I dropped it off, the price I was quoted was $39.99. I specifically discussed the price with the woman behind the counter. When I picked it up, the bill was $54.99. Stan was really rude about the misquote I received. Waved the coupon in my face and told me to read the fine print next time. I wont be back.

Nightmare! Took my truck in and they told me it needed 4 new tire rods and 4 new ball joints at a total of $1900. I didn’t have that kind of money. Took it to another shop and they said all it needed was 1 ball joint. Complete rip off making you buy stuff you don’t need.

I brought my car in for normal service and was told I had a leaky head gasket to the tune of $3000 to repair. A second opinion could not find evidence of this. I will not be coming back.

Seemed like their only customers were women who were out of their element in making vehicle maintenance and repair decisions. They were very nice about it, but were very persuasive regarding future repairs needed on my vehicle. Getting a second opinion elsewhere.

I was a loyal customer for probably 5 or 6 oil changes/tire rotations until last fall. I know how to change my own oil, but dont have access to the tools to do it, so I figured a place like this would be alright. The last time I was at my parents house, I changed it myself and realized the oil drain plug had been tightened with an impact wrench!! I had to be careful not to strip the damn thing when taking it out. Oil changes are tough to screw up, but somebody at the shop managed to do it. They have since lost my service.

They saw us on short notice, fixed our muffler puncture for free, and got us on our way quickly. Their temp fix was not supposed to last very long but 3 months later our muffler is great. They could have sold us a new muffler, instead they treated us very well and earned a couple customers for life. Go here for car service!

They did a good job replacing my muffler. But my gf brought her car in for a tire changeover and they tried to convince her to redo the ball joints and tie rods. She took it elsewhere for a second opinion and the guy put it up on the lift and showed us why they were obviously trying to scam her.

The folks here are always super friendly and personable. I came in expecting to need some exhaust work, only to have them make a couple of minor adjustments for free! We have visited them a couple of times now, and will continue to do so.

Ive been taking all of my vehicles to the Orange St. Midas for years. Wont go anywhere else. They are honest and reasonable. Talked me out of more work as unnecessary than any shop Ive ever been to. I dont buy the negative reviews that I see posted here.

Had the thermostat in my Ranger blow, while I was trying to sell it. So I bright it to this Midas, because it was the only shop open on a Saturday. They got it done by Monday and had the bill well spelt out for me to justify $630. But we took the truck back to my buyer the same day and the truck died on them again... So after a very hard time getting the truck back to this shop, the mechanic who originally worked on it opened the hood and realized he forgot to plug the alternator back in after dissembling it... Well I had to explain what happened to my buyer. One week later, the buyer is getting his new truck ready for winter and took it back to Midas to put a -25 antifreeze mixture. The shop manager opened up the radiator himself and said there was only water in the radiator... They originally charged me for 3 bottles of coolant/antifreeze but only filled the truck with water! After that, my buyer just wanted them to put in the right antifreeze, so he scheduled an appointment and brought the truck in again. This time they filled it again with a watery mixture. Winter is coming in Montana and its common to see below zero temperatures, we just want it done right or a refund. This will be the 5th time going back to this shop just to have the job finished. They charged us for three bottles of antifreeze/coolant and filled the truck with only water... Apparently You Cant Trust the Midas touch 👎

Took our Subaru to Midas for inner tire wear, was quoted over $800 for new tie rods, tires, and a flush and inspection of the brake system. The price seemed high for the work and parts so we only did the brake flush and inspection. Later we took our car to the dealership where they found the cause of our problem was simply an alignment issue and the parts Midas wanted to replace were in excellent working condition and not the cause of any issues. The dealership also found that Midas had reinstalled the break pads BACKWARDS! This was extremely disturbing to learn and were lucky it didnt cause any harm to the car or to others. Upon learning this I went to Midas to bring this information to their attention and was met with the response so what do you want me to do about it. They refused to take responsibility regardless that they have been the only ones to touch the brakes in over a year. Extremely dishonest and honestly just dangerous to have them working on your vehicle. We will never consider using Midas again and will actively warn others to stay far away from their dangerous work.

They did fix one issue in my car, but later that day my check engine light came back on. But they were friendly, and very up front with options and prices.

These guys have always done right by me.. and today they did me a real solid because my trucks tire had a big hole in it and they had to patch it up, they expedited it and rushed the process for me since i needed my car for work and couldnt afford to be late, they are awesome!! Thank you midas!!!

Listed repairs on my wifes car that werent needed according to other mechanics on one occasion. On this last routine inspection of my car, I made an appointment a week in advance. When I made the appointment they said 45 minutes or an hour at longest. I had places to be so when I came back an hour later and my car hadnt even been taken in yet and other cars that were not there before were, I had enough. We were even 10 minutes early to the appointment. Neither my wife nor I will be going back.

I have brought in my car several times this year and each time they have been very helpful and respectful to me. Will continue coming in.

For years I took my vehicles to Hank and the guys at Midas in Missoula but when I got my new truck I thought I’d have it serviced at the dealer. That didn’t last long! I’m back with the guys that I trust at Midas!

I live outside of town do not come to Missoula very often but every time I want to come and have work done on the truck they seemed to never have time for me

I recommend to anyone that actually cares about what servuce they get on there car to get another opinion because i feel midas lies and dosent really fix cars. I also dont think they check anything while they work on your car. I got my car worked on hopeing to drive to Helena. My car broke down 2 days later because my alternator went out. Next time ill look at my own car and fix it. Cus i sure id do a better job. To bad i wont be getting my 800dollars back.
