I brought in my own tires and they mounted and balanced them at a very reasonable price. I was in and out of there Within 15 minutes and on my way home on my new tires. Originally we bought the set of 4 but I hit a big pothole and blew out 1 front tire so I got 2 new tires and now I have a good spare if I need one. It was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend Big Sky Tires. I know Ill be back when I need new tires or to get a flat fixed thats for sure.

VERY pleased. Nice folks, nice dog, good advice, and the pricing was very reasonable. Maybe not as fancy looking as some other places in town, but it seems theyre willing to pass the savings on rather than go for show.

2 times this business has saved me and both times the owner himself came to the rescue.1st time: I was at work and my front end was making weird noises on my way to work, so I called big sky tire and the owner came out and did some tests to make sure i was good to drive home, he recommended the issue and did not try to sell me on coming to his shop for the work.2nd time: I was at work once again and ran over a screw, the owner came and got my tire, drove back to the shop, fixed it, and then returned it and put it on in a timely fashion. Very fast and friendly. Dropped in with a tire that had gone flat. They had it fixed, back on my truck, put the spare away, and had me back on the road again in 45 minutes. And all for $15. Great service, friendly people... I think we found our new local service center!

I needed two travel trailer tires before hitting the road south across the desert. Tanner and Alfred were super helpful, polite and efficient. Even though I was a drop-in, they had me in and out in about an hour. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome! We had a flat tire out in national forest 30+ miles from Missoula and Tanner and his crew sent a loaner tire and a jack out with someone who came to our rescue....and then fixed our tire free of charge! This really speaks to someone who is looking at moving to Montana in the next couple of years! Thanks a bunch!!!

Was a longtime friend and I took my newly bought car into BigSky Tires for an oil change and fluid check...not only did it take over a week to get done but they also totaled my car by doing things I didnt ask them to but also have no knowledge about, fried All of my internal wiring. And then have the nerve to overcharge me and deny it! Real class acts! NOT!!!

Came here for an alignment on my 02 Forester. I dropped in and they were able to see me right away! And, only charged $50 for a front & rear alignment. Quick service at a fair price. They said only the front tires needed it, hence the discount (I think)-- but usually places will charge the same regardless of how much alignment was done.

Fast and dependable service. We usually get our tires here before winter and they are always ready.

Called Big Sky Tire and Service and got a quote for $80 to mount and balance tires. They then tried to charge me $180 after the work was done with the reason we didnt know they were new tires. I guess if you dont get the tires from there then itll be $180 to mount up new ones but $80 for used, but they wont tell you that until the bill comes. I refused and they eventually charged me normal price. I suppose theyll take advantage of those who dont stand up for themselves against shady practices. Guy who rung me up was nice enough and it was clear this is a managers decision.

Used to love these guys until i drove an hour for scheduled appointment to be told no can do cuz something brome so i daid thats ok because i also need an alignment to which i was told id have to wait 2 hrs for an opening...i already had an appointment and drove a dang hour! I tild folks for urs to go there now i tell everuone to stay awY

This shop is the BEST!! We desperately needed a new tire for our travel trailer, which, unknowingly had blown and shredded. A truck driver alerted us to the incident. We put on the spare and when we arrived in Missoula looking for a tire shop and found Big Sky, they immediately were able to help us out and put on the new tire which took no more than 20 minutes!! Big sky tires and service is literally the best tire shop in Missoula. Didnt charge me for getting a flat fixed when we didnt buy tires through them. Although will be getting tires through them probably by the fall. I reccomend them to anyone they are honest and treat customers very well. Theyve always done great work. They changed my oil because I didnt have time. They did that fine, but they charged me $22 to put Lucas oil treatment in. It costs $12 at the store. In other words, they made 50% on something I could have done in exactly five seconds. Way to take advantage of customers that dont know any better. I shouldve just put it in myself.

Amazing service and very friendly. They go out of their way to help without charging you an arm and a leg for everything. I was heading out of town and wanted a last minute oil change and tire check before driving,I called them up as I was passing the shop at the crack of dawn! They had me in and out in 15minutes and when I got checked at a shop before my return trip the other shop said my car was great and that obviously everything had been taken care of before I got there. So,not only quick but good service...plus they gave me coffee while I waited! :)

Amazing service! My friend and I were moving to Alaska and we made a quick stop in on a whim to make sure our spare tire was in good shape. Turns out it was total garbage and we needed a new one. The staff at Big Sky were as friendly, quick, and competent as could possibly be. The price was fantastic was well. The service here could not have been beat, and the guys were great! Great local business, have been doing business with them for 5+ years. They are very price competitive amd do great work. While it may take a minute to get help at the counter since that are always busy, it is well worth the wait amd they are very accommodating when it comes to having work done without an appointment, highly recommended for all of ypur tire needs.

Needed 2 tires. Big Sky was quite a bit cheaper than other places. No appointment necessary. Was probably out the door in 15 minutes with 2 new tires and a rotation. Awesome. Would definitely go back.

This shop is filled with very helpful people. They are actually one of the only people in town that do Uber certifications. Im writing this review because just today I accidentally locked my keys in my car in 14°. I had just done my Uber check up so I called to ask if theres anything they could do. Within 15 minutes they came over with some tools just to get me in my car again. No one should expect any shop to want to do that for free, or ever honestly, so I seriously appreciate these guys and how helpful theyve been for me.

They charged me over $800. I had my car transported from California to Montana during the process I guess something was wrong with the car. I asked them to do a full diagnosis on my car (1994 infinity J30) they claimed they did. They informed me something was wrong with the power steering and since I needed tires for the snow it came to a total of $800. So after the repair I take my car to get the oil changed the girl changing the oil tells me the belts around my power steering need to be fixed and replaced which never happened. Now remind you I just took my car into Big Sky to get this issue fixed and anything else fixed they did not fix it. So I call them out on this they tell me the serpentine belts are no where near the power steering. LIE NUMBER ONE. Then I ask them why am I still having issues with my car if everything was suppose to be fixed you ran a diagnosis right. They claim that they did then when I make them do it infront of me they say that they dont have the machine to do it. On top of that they tried to charge me to fix the belts which they should of already did so I ended up having to purchase belts at ORileys and bring them in to have put on my car. Now they tried to charge me for it but I put up a fuss and had my mother call they finally gave in on their mistake. Please do not go here if you want to be screwed over please feel free. Also, they tried to send me to another shop to get diagnosis done and the whole point of me going to them was to have everything fixed in one place.

Treated me fairly and did good work. They worked on my car, but after driving it a week, I noticed some issues remained. I brought it back to them and they fixed the remaining issues, only charging me parts and free labor! I was impressed. I would go back to them again.

Their work is great, and wait times vary quite a bit, but its worth getting everything in writing, as they will make promises that customers must push to get them to honor.

Called for a estimate on tires and leveling kit and waited several days for a call back, got nothing. When I called back I was told they called me back... sorry pal we actual have a record of this kind of thing on our cell phones. So after wasted time and being lied to and told they called me back with the estimate I was told yeah we dont really do that kind of work Thanks a lot... the truth the first time I called would have saved us both some time.

Been going to these guys for around 2 and a half years but I will never go there again. BEWARE of what you leave behind in your car. When I came back to pick up my car, I saw one of the workers going through my center console after he parked my car (which is where I had left my money to pay for their services) and wouldnt you know, the money was gone! Right in front of my own eyes and they had the nerve to tell me I was lying when I had seen him take it WITH MY OWN EYES. Called the cops and they came over and the owner said I wouldnt have to pay, but that still doesnt account for the amount of $ that was stolen by their trusted employee. Their defense ----> I mean he hasnt stolen anything in the past six months, so why would he now? - Ok and your point? The very fact that some of the employees dont have the boundaries to respect others possessions who are paying for their service really goes to show how much they actually care about the people who they hire that will be working on your vehicle. Other than that, Ive had friendly service from them. USE CAUTION - 5/5/2014

Quick service on tire rotation.

All I needed was a set of studded tires, which I already had, put onto my wheels before the snow fell. Went to Les Schwab at 3:30pm and they told me they didnt have time to do the service before they closed at 6:00, which was $70 (Even though I purchased these particular tires from them, as well as 4 more sets over the years!) . Came straight to Big Sky Tires for the first time, and I was in and out in 25 minutes. And did I mention they charged LESS than les schwab? Only $60! Will be shopping and recommending this shop from now on.

On holidays from Alberta having a great holiday until a loud noise was coming from the front of our Jeep. So we started our search for brake and tire shops in Missoula of course with the fear of being taken advantage of for unneccessary repairs. We came across the reviews for Big Sky and felt confident to bring our jeep in for an inspection. We were very pleased with the service. They checked our jeep from front to back, brakes, tires, supension ect and took it for a test drive. They found no problems and figured that something got got jarred and through the inspection it fall out. NO more noise, all fixed and best of all was not told we needed unneccessary repairs. Very honest, trustworthy and no charge. unheard off!!would higher recommend Big Sky.Thanks so much

Complete failure !!! I would not recommend for service. I was quoted a 2 hour job and called the shop a day earlier to be put in the schedule for 8 am . After confirming with the service manager they would start working on my vehicle when they opened at 8 am. My vehicle was not complete until 10hrs later . It was a very frustrating experience .

Horrendous customer service, refuse to explain things too you. One mechanic was incredibly rude when I was just trying to make an appointment.
