Easily the best empanadas in all of Miami! Just check out my photos they speak for themselves!!! This place came highly recommended by a local and I can understand why. Just be sure to get there early because they will sell out of their most popular. If its later in the day then stop by for desserts as everything they make is in house and more delicious than it appears!!! Would rate 6 stars if I could, the staff is super friendly and will recommend the best they have! Make sure to try the green sauce too!
Recommended by a couple of yelpaholics, I tried. Some bakery goods like empanadas, youll find.Forget your new years resolution and South Beach diet. May as well give that up in order to try it.Empanadas! Empanadas: pork, chicken, cheese.Gimme more green sauce with that pwiddy please.Bookmarked, checked-off, satisfied tummy. Those empanadas were flaky and yummy.
My favorite place on the beach. They have the best home cooked style food around. The fact it’s from scratch and so tasty is all I need. Never felt let down here. The empanadas are so good with plenty types to choose from.
They don’t offer gluten free empanadas even if you call and they will tell you they do and once you get there, nope.Food was not great, the regular empanadas super dry, everything is done I guess in the morning so by 11-12 food tastes old and dry
This place has some tasty choices, but just be prepared to be disappointed if they dont have certain menu items available. They have great customer service. I would definitely come back.
A very nice place to have breakfast before hitting the beach! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything is delicious especially the croissants with cheese!😋
The ladies working were so sweet and patient with my friends and I! They worked well together and took time to explain the options to us and help us out as we looked at the menu! Will definitely be back next time we’re in town :) the empanadas are a great size!
Oh so much to choose from. Everything looked amazing. And alot of carmel in pastries....want an Empanada??? They have every kind of coffee you could want. Help support the local shops.I was at Starbucks other day spent $6 on a short Macchiato coffee. Here I bought a small coffee decaf Macchiato and a pastry with guava yummy $4.
With so many excellent reviews, I really wanted this place to be good. When we entered and it looked like the decor hadn’t been updated in 20+ years, I tried to focus on the food. When the nice lady kept getting our order wrong, I tried to focus on the food. When our simple order took over 30 minutes to prepare, I tried to focus on the food. But when the food arrived, I was shocked to see it was mediocre at best. The egg dishes were uninspired and of average diner quality, the sweets tasted stale and it all looked as if it was prepared by someone who hated their job. But, in all fairness, the free coffee that came with our dishes, was very good. I’m so sad because we had such high hopes for CB.
Good Bakery. The Empanadas were good. Tres leches cake could be a lot better
Good service the lady working on the front counter was very polite. This place is super chilled in the mornings. The Beef Venezuelan empanada was really good, the coffee was really good. Had El Español breakfast too and was really good. Prices was fair.
My guy and I was visiting this place on vacation. Must say, the food and pastries were delicious and affordable prices. Check them out!!
Solid place to stop for a fresh morning pastry and a cuban style cafe con leche. The staff was very friendly and cheerful in the morning.
Great coffee, food and a very friendly staff 😁. It was a go to on our trip for a great breakfast.
I visited the website using Google since I was at Miami Beach. I ordered online and they never delivered to me. I had to go to this place and realized that their service is really poor. Th person who was there was chatting and chatting instead of being focused on his work. I wont ever go to this place. Food is good but service sucks.
This place is so good I decided to go here every morning during my vacation.
Love the arepas!!! Love the menu. Awesome friendly staff that really wants people to feel at home.
The tequeños are the best, super stuffed with cheese, and the pastries are delicious. If you visit you must have tequeños and fresh orange juice. The girls at the counter are always so polite and helpful
So delicious! All the types of empanadas are distinctive (Venezuelan, Chilean and Argentinian) with perfect pastry crusts. The arepa I got was completely stuffed with tasty filling, as was the ham cachito. Prices were totally reasonable for the size of the pastries. Fresh squeezed OJ and cafe con leche are yummy too. I didnt get any sweet pastries but they look amazing. Finally, the person working the counter and espresso machine was super nice!
We had the breakfast arepas and they were amazing! We were so so excited to visit this place and It was the first stop on our first visit to Miami. The only con is we had just driven into town five hours and they did not have a restroom for paying customers. We had to take our food to go to find one.
They got my entire pickup order wrong (which I thankfully checked in the store). My black coffee had milk in it. My bacon breakfast had sausage instead. My ham and cheese empanada was not an empanada. And they did not give me the bread I ordered. It took forever for them to “fix” my order. I could tell one worker felt bad for me. She was apologetic. I walked out after 20 minutes with no food, and will never go back.
In words of my son: I really loved the Waffles with Nutella and Powdered suger, Its a great area to have breakfast!
The empanadas were decent and the coffee was ok. The orange juice is good though!
BEWARE! This company is ADDING 20% TO EVERY CREDIT CARD CHARGE! Take a picture of your receipt and then compare it to your credit card statement.I ABSOLUTELY DETEST FRADULENT COMPANIES LIKE THIS ONE!
I recommend this family business. You can stop for a coffee or for a meal. Sweet and sour. Everything is top notch.
The Venezuelan empanadas are light, flaky and delicious with several filling options. We also had two different egg breakfast plates, one seasoned blend of eggs, ham, green peppers, tomatoes, onions, with a side of two real corn arepas (you actually taste the corn) and a mini tequeno oozing with a mild white cheese. The other healthier choice we made was four egg whites, spinach, ricotta, with a crisp, but soft pressed baguette and a side of four ham croquettes... tender ham perfectly surrounded by a blissful crust of bread crumbs. It made for a great start today! Took some sinful pastries to go for later, so if your in Miami Beach, find your way to enjoy some Latin oven lovin! 👍👍 #Flavatown #STAhungry
Some of the best I’ve ever had. Must try with lots of options!
Customer service is top notch! I highly recommend spicy beef Cuban and the beef Venezuelan empanadas. Full of flavor and fills me up!
Lots of yummy treats and a friendly staff!
Excellent, fresh made coffee and warm from the fryer chicken empanada! Best breakfast since arriving at the beach…what a memory!
OMG! The mechada empanada is a must try! It’s worth every bit of its greasiness!
I ordered a Ferrerro Rocher cake from this place and it did not turn out how the picture looks. Go elsewhere
Food is good the arepas are delicious, they just need some sort of system when you order for pick up the food your self, if the owner is not there employees cant get your order.
My girls and I went to the bakery and we were being ignored by staff. We were asking questions about the different types of filling and they ignored us. One of my girls ordered a medium mocchiato and they took almost an hour to get the order right and they still didn’t get it right. Horrible customer service. They don’t seem to care. Also, they don’t have some of the items listed on their menu. It was just trash.
Amazing neighborhood coffee/bakery shop! If you are a sweeter coffee drinker, try the Cafe Leche, its delicious! Their bakery items are all delicious. I cant wait to come back next time I am in town.
Wow, what a great place to sample great cuban breakfast food. The croissant was amazing and the empanad was the reason we went back 3 times during our trip. Worth the walk from ocean drive.
The food was absolutely amazing. The customer service not so much. I believe it was more a language barrier then service issue, but they didnt really want to help me.
Absolutely delicious! From the sandwiches to the pastries you cant ask for a better selection. Go hungry the sandwiches are big and filling. Had to take my pastry to go. Didnt even finish my sandwich.Best coffee I have had so far in Miami.Reasonably priced for breakfast or lunch. Not a lot of seating so be patient and wait your turn😁Fantastic staff! Cant wait to go back.
One of the most reasonably priced places in the area. Very friendly staff! Delicious cappuccino and all the food was super fresh!
1st time going, look nice online but once I got there, I felt that I was somewhere else, online looked better, the empanadas and pastries were ok, the service was not so good, when ordering it felt like I was bothering them for ordering food... lol lol
Always delicious! Best empanadas in town! Best prices.
Empanadas are amazing here. If you want to get full and enjoy some hearty eats for a good price then visit this tiny hot spot. They will take care of you.
Breakfast is amazing. Coffee is amazing. Only thing bothered me was that the menu they have on the wall is “not up to date “. So whatever you order, it will cost more.
I really loved this place for a quick stop for breakfast. I got the Ham + cheese croissant, and the beef empanada. Would recommend.
Service was good and friendly. We tried the chicken and waffles. Waffles were a bit tough and not flavorful. The chicken pieces were more like a chicken fritter of sorts. I would not recommend them. We did not try the bakery items, so this review should not dissuade you from trying this place for those
Photos of this place are so deceiving! Its literally a hole in the wall and a very uninviting one at that. There was no one in there and we didnt venture in so I dont know if the food is any good. Not going to find out either.
Absolutely amazing orange juice and breakfast
The best empanadas. My fave. Of you been to empanada mama in NYC, theyre as good! 🙂
The last time we were there they made our entire order wrong. The service was really bad, it used to be great with the previous staff.
I came here every day for coffee and pastries and empanadas during my Miami stay…just do it
The breakfast we ordered was mediocre. The worst waffles I ever tasted. The cappuccino was a foamy milk only. The stuff are mostly busy chatting between them and the masks are now worn properly.
Friendly host. Good service!
I love everything about this place. Only thing I did not like they do not have a bathroom.
Get the chorizo empanadas!!!
Linda, romina and Brisa the best
Breakfast and coffee were good, but long wait time preparing food and feels pricey for what it is.
“If you want to taste the flavors of South America, then Charlotte Bakery is the place for you. They are the royals of empanadas and arepas”
OMG......YES. ANYTIME. Not only were the items tantalizing, customer service was excellent.
The worst Venezuelan empanadas ever. If they dont know how to make Venezuelan empanadas is better not to even try to make them. Horrible 🤢! Im very disappointed
A must stop for those who want to experience real Latin food. Empanadas, tequenos, quesadillas, arepas. You name it they make it.
It was my favorite place, not sure what happened but its definitely not the same
AMAZING FOOD!!! We went back after our first visit while vacationing in Miami. The arepas are out of this world! Everything made from scratch and so delicious!
Was pretty excited to try their empanadas based on reviews. I got the Venezuela and Argentina chicken empanadas, and I was very disappointed. They were too oily, and the filling almost had no taste. But everyone also loves this place for breakfast and I went in the evening. So maybe they lose their form by then. Great staff and great prices though.
Sooo I am visiting south beach and I’m pregnant and wanted something sweet! I decided to get their choc. Chip cookies w Nutella, strawberry cheesecake and some cake I thought would be chocolate but with apps like that you never know... ANYWAY honest opinion it’s not at all what I’m used to.. the cookies were the good part and they were a little hard... the cheese cake is more of a moose doesn’t taste much like cheese cake and the “ chocolate” cake had no flavor at all from the cake to the icing I know Miami is very diverse culturally And that great! But maybe that was the difference I just wasn’t a fan! But everyone should form their own opinion! :)
Had some really good Argentinian empanadas. Great little snack. Can’t wait to come back for their famous coffee 🤤
Did not try any baked goods, but they look amazing. 5 stars for the outstanding service, and possibly the best espresso in the area.
This was my breakfast spot. Love the variety of empanadas from Colombia, Argentina, Chile and more. Here is where I discovered arepas for the very first time, the reina pepiada and carne mechada are the absolute best. They also have cachapas, tequeños, pastries, eggs, waffles ... Basically everything and their coffee is good.
Amazing food! Real authentic Latin Taste!
Best empanadas EVER so far..
Quality food. Recommend for breakfast. Been here 4+ times and always good. Try the pastries.
I cannot say enough about this place! Fresh & delicious!!! Romina was helpful and recommended everything to perfection! Definitely will be our go to place when we are in South Beach!!
Best Venezuelan bakery on the beach!
Great coffees, staff was very friendly...languages spoken here...pastries r amazing!!Well b back for the great breakfast menu!!
