I had a flat tire and they sent someone out to help with with spare. So happy I found a legitimate place to help with all my car needs that you do not feel pressured or they are ripping you off. Definitely a returning customer for any future car needs.

Top quality work and customer service! After a second failed attempt by a chain (with a big O in its name) to do the alignment correctly on my vehicle, I called Schorie and they were able to get my car square again that day. They may be a few dollars more than the chain shop, but it is worth to get it fixed the right way the first time. Five stars!

I love this place. Ive been here three times so far to get an oil change. Theyre not into pressuring you to do anything you dont need to. Jeremy in the office is a really personable guy and he took care of me and my car. Sometimes they have coupons on their website so look out for them!

My first time here and took my vehicle in for an oil change. Gave me a list of recommendation to do. I added change air filter to the work.About two weeks later my change oil soon kept turning on and my thermometer stat started going to high, then low then middle. My truck started acting weird after I took it here. It would take forever to go after waiting at a red light. I would press gas but it moved like 5 miles per hour like the emergency brakes was on. I had NO ISSUES with my truck prior to having them work on it and had multiple oil changes and full tune ups prior but not here.I called them, they told me to bring it in and I did and they reset the oil but for the thermostat they said I can pay 160 to get it checked just to see whats wrong with it!!!!!After they reset my oil warning it came on AGAIN. I took it to another mechanic, they fixed the issue and looked over my truck. Now my truck has no warning, thermostat doesnt go crazy and my truck doesnt take forever to go after a red-light.I wouldnt recommend this place as they may just sabotage your vehicle so you can bring it back to get MORE work done.

I showed up and requested an oil change with a coupon that was mailed out to the general public. A 27-point inspection of the vehicle was also included to ensure the vehicle is topped off on fluids and in generally looking serviceable. Upon picking up the vehicle, I was informed that I had a radiator leak, low break pads (still serviceable), and a few other minor issues. I discussed the issues with Jeremy and he showed me the issues with the radiator on the vehicle. He also provided me a quote for all of the recommended services on the vehicle. He did not pressure me to get them repaired or to let them keep the vehicle for immediate repairs. Jeremy purely provided his recommendations on the issue that was best for the vehicle. I researched the quote with other service providers and their quotes were generally the same. Schorie Auto Repair definitely has fair prices and will not try and slip other charges into the bill or service! I scheduled my radiator repair for the following week, brought it in, and when I picked up my vehicle I noticed that they took it for a car wash as well! I dont take my vehicle into the shop too often but whenever I have to, Ill go back to Schorie Auto Repair! Its the little things that earn business. Their customer service rocks and they go the extra mile. Highly recommend.

Awful experience. had 8:30 appt to check car for road trip. said 2-3 hours. After 5 hours and with no communication we went to get the car. They did not check the battery(needed a jump next day and new one on the road!), top off ANY fluids even though they said they did( window washer fluid low), no oil change and no new sticker stating next time for one, showed us a dirty air filter that was not even the correct one for our car, had to ask again after 5 hours to replace the wiper blades (on the list of things to do)... Would never trust them again. Awful service, awful communication. shameful

I found out about this business on Facebook. They advertised a 34.95 full synthetic oil change. While the communication from the business was excellent, there is no deal to be had here as far as the oil changes are concerned. The total bill ended up being over 10.00 higher than expected. When I questioned the charges, I was given an elusive response that there were taxes included in the final bill. While this is completely understandable, once I was able to review the charges there were about 10.00 in miscellaneous charges like labor, shop fees, etc. The excessive extra fees had nothing to do with taxes as I was originally told. I voiced the fact that I felt like the deal on the oil change was extremely misleading and all I was told was that they were sorry I felt this way. In addition, I waited in the lobby OVER 2 hours for them to complete the oil change and engine filter change. I was also told it would be over 50.00 to change the cabin air filter which I knew I could purchase at Walmart for 13.00. Save your time and money and find someplace else.

I first used Schorie Auto Repair in mid-May of this year when my 1994 Honda died and AAA could not get her going. They did a thorough inspection and let me know that the computer module had failed. Since Honda no longer makes this part for their 1994 model year, they offered to search for reconditioned modules. I agreed, and they called me after a day or so with a suitable part. I was so relieved, and happy when I drove her home.Last weekend, my Honda stalled during emissions but restarted to get me home (after passing emissions). I started worrying about the used computer module failing, but hoped it was okay. When I got home, I noticed the brake lights were on after the engine was turned off. I tried to start the car the next day and there was no sign of any power. I had AAA tow her to Schorie and reminded them about the recent computer module replacement. I hoped so hard that the computer wasnt bad, but worried when the owner called to give me the inspection results. Instead, he had good news - the brake lights had drained my weak battery, and she would start again with a new brake switch clip (or something like that) and a new battery (which I had planned on replacing soon). Jim and Rich understood my fears about losing the use of my car, and I drove her home the day after she was towed in. They also gave me my overall inspection results so we can plan her service needs. Thanks to Jim, Rich, Caitland for getting my wheels running again and providing transport to pick her up. Thanks to Amber for getting my key.

Great service! Had no problems & they recommended a good towing service for us. They couldnt get the truck to do what it had done the day before to cause it not to start but spoke with my husband & they decided what they mutually thought it might be & did the repairs. Havent had the issue again. They got the work done in a timely fashion. Weve used them before & were equally happy with their service. Used a coupon & saved $40.00. Would highly recommend them.

The worst place to take ur car. If u have a Mercedes Benz; they do not know anything about foreign cars. Im explaining my car to Jeremy and i could tell he knew nothing about my car. They try and up sell u if ur repair is cheap and if u dont agree with the up sell they will refuse to do the work. Whats so funny about the situation is that i noticed they try to take advantage of customers who are not car savvy. DO NOT TAKE UR CAR HERE!!!!

I was in need of an oil change before the 3-day weekend and my brother was able to get me same day appointment with Elvis over at Schorie and I was incredible amazed. From (Kaitlyn at reception, Im bad with names but im sure thats it) to Elvis to the whole atmosphere everything was smooth sailing. Love the text I received with a link to my cars report while waiting for my services to be completed. I got in at 2pm and was out of there at 2:40 which is amazing compared to the amount of time i spend at my dealership when i get oil changes. Amazing competitive prices. We were blown away because we were told that afilter needed to be changed based on what the dealership told us.. turns out that filter was still great shape and they were honest and upfront and brought the filter out to show us. To make the story short I have been through 2 different dealership service mechanics for about a week or so and none of them could tell me the problems with my 97 Toyota Tacoma truck. I finally went on a web search for the best Toyota inclined mechanic and found Schorie auto repair. Lo and behold there is a god :-). They found all kinds of issues with my truck and fixed every single one of them. My truck is finally cured and runs like new. These guys are wonderful! Ive been a customer for 5+ years, and I would never take my car anywhere else. They are honest and never give up on a problem until it is solved. I like how the owner gives me a heads up about potential future maintenance/repairs given the age and history of my car. I got a coupon in the mail for an oil change and it was cheaper than any competitor around. They did a great job and I was pleased with the service and the first-time price. However, I received a quote for an alignment repair which was more expensive than other places ($175 instead of $50) and included something that other shops told me was unnecessary. Im obviously not a mechanic or professional so I have no idea which is true, but I would definitely recommend shopping around before deciding to go with Schorie for your other mechanic needs (a good practice anyway).

I read the great reviews Google and decided to have my wifes oil changed and the tires rotated here. I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service I received dealing with Richard Brown and highly recommend bringing your car here if you need to have it repaired or serviced!

I recently had an oil change done in early July on our 2014 CTS and there was a leak on the rear differential. I was leaving the next morning to drive to San Clemente. So Rich suggested he steam clean that area and check the leak on my return. Recently the warranty on the CTS expired in December 2018. I signed an agreement in late July with Platinum Plus Auto Protection that would have extended the warranty for 4 years or until 100,000 miles. It was to go into effect on August 23rd. When I returned Rich put the car on the rack and it was easy to see the gaskets needed replacing. Brought the vehicle in the next morning and the gaskets were replaced and the bill came in a little bit under what I was quoted. Quite a pleasant surprise. When I got home I called Platinum Plus and told them that I no longer needed the extended warranty and requested that the deposit be returned which it was. I believe I made the right decision. It is so hard to find an auto shop where you can walk away feeling like theyve been honest and helpful, and not recommending fixes that dont need to be made. The team at Schorie has always been straight forward with us. They explain things in a way thats respectful and easy to understand. They dont talk down and they dont speak in mechanics speak the way most shops do. For these reasons, I have referred them to a number of friends and acquaintances.

Refreshingly upfront and honest. I really appreciated the fact that they werent constantly trying to upsell me on other services or resorting to scare tactics to pressure me into anything. They let me know about any issues they uncovered and left it at that. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

This place is dishonest they will tell you what they need to tell you to get you in but its based on a lie. I called these people with a problem that I was having with my vehicle and that I needed a second opinion. They told me they would do a free diagnostics as long as I brought in the receipts that my vehicle had got work done on it. So I brought in the car with the receipts they ask for. I later got a call that they would not do a free diagnostic unless I brought in proof that I had it diagnosed already so I did that. I take it that they did not expect me to bring proof. They thought I was lying to them and trying to get a free diagnostics. And this is what the girl told me when I came in with the proof. So I told her no I get it you guys didnt want to do it anyways you just got me to come in by saying that you were going to do free diag. but if you have to do further diag. it was going to cost me additional $140. Thats what they wanted they wanted their money. They werent going to give me a free diagnosis theyre going to tell me that they looked at it but that they had to do further diag. either way theyre going to get their $140. Waste of my time, and I had to walk 6 miles home cause their courier wasnt there. End result still didnt get a second opinion with all the proof the asked for.

Called to see how much labor would be to replace an expansion valve. Told me they wont do any work until they do their own inspection. Why would I pay them 40 dollars to tell me the exact same thing I know is already wrong. Sounds like a place that rips off young women and old folk who dont know any better. 1 star place people

Air Conditioning failed they quickly and inexpensively resolved the issue.Radiator issue same quick and inexpensive response. One time I called to tell them I was sending the car on a tow truck because it would not start. They took care of it the same day. My continued relationship with Schorie Auto Repair has been good for me!

My husband and I have been with Schorie Auto Repair before they were even Schorie. Shopping around for a good place to take your vehicle is always daunting, since you have that concern about the possibility of the mechanic cheating you. But here, we didnt have that issue. My husband and I feel comfortable with them. They always explain what it is that is wrong with the car and why it should be repaired. What is really nice is, they dont push a fix if it isnt absolutely necessary (which was a recent event with our spark plugs). They keep our car happy and healthy and my husband and I getting to and from our destinations. There have even been instances of emergencies that they have been able to get us in, even when they are overloaded (during the major rainstorms we had). I definitely recommend them.

Been to this auto repair shop twice: once for a basic oil change/maintenance and next was a wheel alignment and rotation. All in all, the staff was courteous and respectful. A plus is the shuttle service which helps with getting my errands done while my car is in the shop. Overall the environment and staff makes me want to come back for all my maintenance and repairs.Price wise it does seem to be average to below average in the Mesa area according to the RepairPal app on my iPhone. But as always ask for a quote and shop around is your best bet. Hope this helps!

I have used Schorie (formerly Good Works Auto Repair) for about five years and love their service. Schorie has never pressured us into services they didnt think we need, unlike many other repair shops. One time I had a problem with my car overheating and took it in and they couldnt replicate the problem. They kept the car for a couple days running a bunch of tests and still couldnt replicate it. It was fine after that (they explained maybe the tests reset the computer) but did not charge anything besides the initial diagnostic. I trust everything they recommend and they will make sure to show you if parts need repair, not just tell you. Great experiences and have kept coming back for everything we need! I would refer anyone to them.

I called ahead before I brought my vehicle in. When I called I told them I was having AC issues with the rear AC only, front was fine. I originally wanted a quote to replace the rear expansion valve, but they recommended bringing the SUV in to run a diagnostics on the AC. They said they would charge 39.99 for diagnostics. I didnt know this was for an overall vehicle diagnostic, (fluids,belts, brakes, but not including pulling down the AC to check the freon, this was more...) Not sure why you would even recommend this when the only issue I was having was HVAC related. The front was working fine but the rear AC had recently stopped working very well. It was getting cooler but not as cold as the front. Eventually they charged me an hour labor to pull and charge the AC 1.5 lb of freon that it was low and thats it. I do appreciate that they offered to take the vehicle to emissions so they could check for leaks after driving it (it passed no problem of course). In all honesty though, I think they wanted to find something else wrong. After they didnt find any other issues the owner gave me a scare story about how I am going to have to replace the entire system soon, because I put freon with stop leak in from AutoZone the previous year. He even said it could ruin his AC machine. I really think if this was the case that he should have done his research before hand. Of course it was unsettling to hear but I knew better, so it is what it is there. I just dont like that he jumped to that right away. Just gave me a feeling of uncertainty, not the confidence I like to feel after paying $230 to have my AC charged. They gave me an entire workup on the vehicle for all the diagnostics so that was nice (even though I didnt want it...)Long story short, I feel their labor rate is a bit high from what Ive seen elsewhere and the owner really tries to upsell too much for my taste. They did wash my car before I picked it up (even though it was raining..) I wouldnt say they are dishonest at all, but misleading, very. When we moved to Arizona we knew we needed to find an honest and trustworthy place to take our cars. When we discovered Schories (at that time good works auto) we were thrilled that the search stopped there. They were very honest from the beginning telling us not to waste our money fixing certain things on our car. I had never had a shop tell me that before. They would also give us a breakdown of our options instead of telling us what we needed to fix. We appreciated that. We knew right away that they were good trustworthy people with an honest family business. We would take our cars nowhere else! We have and will continue to recommend Schories to all our friends and family.

I love Schorie Auto! I have always found them to be extremely honest. Its a wonderful, but rare to find a business that operates on integrity and honesty.

Schorie treated my Wrangler just right including checking things I hadnt even thought of. My AC and brakes are both performing perfectly thanks to their help.

Reliable and honest. They were good at diagnosing my car problems. Ask if they hav discounts and you might get a deal.

The symptom was belt noise. They replaced two pulleys, the tensioner and belt. They did not see the clearly visible damaged tracks on the water pump pulley and air conditioner pulley. As I result, I was stranded again after 1,000 miles with a split and frayed belt in Mexico... Not exactly a satisfactory experience.

Well, I didnt have an appointment with Schorie, but I came in on Friday the 22nd of February because my check engine light had came on after doing multiple recommended repairs (by another not the people at Schorie). They were courteous and friendly and said it would be a while before they could get my Jeep in. They gave me a lift home and Jim was very nice and said they would definitely do a full diagnostic to find out the problem. They literally looked over my entire vehicle (which I have only owned less than a year and bought off Craigslist and have had problems ever since with). Come to find out, pretty much the only thing in good shape were my steering linkages. I didnt mind the time I had to wait for my full diagnostic and they had to really search for my problem because the codes my Jeep was throwing were not accurate. I got a call from Jim explaining to me that they literally took apart my Jeep to find the problems and went over the entire vehicle with a fine tooth comb. I was devastated to hear the news BUT I am so glad I took it in when I did. With everything going on in my life the last thing I need is a blown head gasket or an accident relating to the safety of the other issues that I had going on with my Jeep. For the price that I paid for this diagnostic, I would recommend them to ANYONE whos in the market for a vehicle and needs a full work up done before deciding on a purchase. Like Jim said, if they wont let you leave the lot with it or allow you to have your mechanic inspect it, THEY ARE HIDING SOMETHING! So, now Im in the market for a new vehicle BUT I will be returning to Jim, his lovely wife and their team of kind and carrying individuals before and after I make my purchase. Amazing morals, Amazing business practices, and Amazing people who show the true nature of what being a good Christian in business means-NO JUDGEMENT and ALL HEART! 100% Satisfied.

We were given a $300 estimate for changing and flushing the transmission fluid. But when we came for our appointment we were told it would be over $500. When we said wed gotten a $300 estimate on the phone she said Oh that was just from me. As though that made it ok. We left and wont be going back.
