True to their name AND I suppose adding Honest to the name might have been over the top.Took my Mini in after getting tired of going to the dealership and am very happy with the result. I will return.

They will tell you about a free diagnosis over the phone, put a battery in your car and try to start it, tell you the car wont start, take the battery back out, and charge you over $60 to do so. If thats your cup of tea, by all means go ahead. I know management will respond and make themselves look like saints knowing there will be no way to publicly reply to their response giving the false indication that I am fine with whatever they are going to say, but oh well. Here is my honest review for you to use how you like. Id tell you to go somewhere else.

AC compressor failed and called a few places to get some estimates and this was the best option,. Spoke with Victor and he was straight to the point with me didnt BS. Not only was he honest but had phenomenal customer service the whole time and I felt cared for. My car means the world to me and Im happy I found an honest shop that cares for my car like I do. This is my shop for life now.

Once again, Affordable does an amazing job! I needed a power steering flush for my car, and I could swear up and down that I had seen a document from a previous check that my rear brakes were in need of maintenance. (I couldn’t tell you where I got it, as now I can’t find the thing! I think it was from another repair at another place. It was odd as no one had talked to me about it!) The guys at Affordable checked them out, no problem, and it turns out they’re totally fine! Yay! Thanks again for the wonderful service, quick work, and for keeping my car tuned up and safe!

One thing lead to another. First the Tipm, then computer $5,740 2 weeks later my truck was still not right. Same issues as when i took it in. Turned out not even the staff there realized i had a shot battery. Once i got truck i had to be stranded again just to find out this intire time it was a dead battery. When i confronted them, they always had a way/ answer around it. After talking to Tim AGAIN i asked him why parts were marked up by 100%. Answer was Inflation, but yet i could order the part at cost 2 day delivery from 5 different companies. I got my truck back with no ac lose battery cable wires side door platic siding sitting on passenger side. Still shutting down while driving. This intire time work was being done with a dead no good battery.🤔 Truck has 2 batteries fyi. I will post picture of my invoice to prove it. Talk about straight robbery with no accountability.

We have used Affordable Automotive Repair twice now and they have the best customer service I have EVER experienced with an auto repair company. Our AC was not functioning correctly and they found the problem and had it fixed within the day, and it was very affordable! The best part is that they dont try to pressure you into things you dont need. They are going to be our go-to auto repair from now on.

Victor recommended several key repairs. Victor was very helpful. He provided important information in a timely manner. The service was excellent. They were able to look at my vehicle pretty quickly same day which is why they got a 2 star instead of 1. I was having a rotational sound comming from the rear deivers side and asked them to diagnose it. I told Tim that I had personally replaced that same wheel bearing and hub. He then drove it and told me that the wheel bearing was bad. I asked him how he knew. He told me he had felt the wheel on the rack and felt play in it as well as heard the bearing groan when spinning it by hand. Knowing that I had just replaced this part, I didnt believe him and the next day had the tire switched out for a new one. This fixed the problem proving the wheel bearing was never bad and that Tim never performed any type of prescribed tests on the vehicle to ensure that the wheel bearing was the actual problem. I wouldnt go here again, guy just didnt wanna do the work to diagnose it correctly. Lazy.

Awesome service and great prices, was budgeted for a lot more in repair than anticipated. They looked over my Ford F-150, fixed the issues I was having, they fixed my trucks A/C and They didn’t upsell me or up charge me on anything that I didn’t need, they were upfront with cost and no hidden fees, will be returning for my future mechanical needs, thanks guys!

Staff was very nice, but services were very overpriced.It cost $210 just to do an oil change and a diagnostic to figure out whats wrong with the engine.I prefer to support small business but Jiffy Lube up the street charges $65 for a diagnostic and a lot of places will do an oil change for $30 or less, sometimes free. I dont know if i was being upsold because im not a car guy or if thats the normal price, either way it was at the very least double what competitors charge.Cant speak to how their services are for real repair issues because I didnt trust their prices after this and went elsewhere.

I highly recommend this place. The people who work here are very welcoming and professional. I am not a very knowledgeable person when it comes to cars, however, they were kindly explaining what was going on exactly with my car while visually showing me the parts. Over 12 years ago I received a coupon in the mail for a free oil change from Affordable Automotive and decided to give them a try since they were new and closer to me than my current mechanic. The time came for a much needed repair and as I decided to ask them for a quote and from my usual shop, they beat the quote by several hundred dollars and even showed me where I was getting ripped off by unnecessary repairs from the other quote. They won me over that day and every day since. They have never failed to be more than fair in caring for our three vehicles and I recommend everyone I know to them now! Tim and is crew are the best!!

Our vehicle suddenly would not start and we were stranded at 9 at night. Waiting for family to arrive, I filled out a quick online request for service at Affordable Auto Repair. We were called first thing in the morning by Tim. He was very courteous and said he could get our car in that morning. After some issues with the tow company, our car finally arrived at Affordable Auto Repair around 1230. I thought for sure it would be stuck there through the weekend costing us $$ we couldnt afford. Instead, Tim had our car done before closing! The cost of repair was quoted before work began, and all warranties were noted. We got our car back in great working order. Tim and his team first off have integrity. My O2 sensor was incorrectly attached to the vehicle but it was brand new. Anyone could have easily just said the o2 sensor was bad and needed replaced.They got the job done faster than I expected and were excellent at communicating every detail of the repair. I plan on returning if I need any other service.

My car acquired power steering trouble as I was leaving Mesa to travel home 200 miles. They worked with me to finish the repair the same day. I along with my extended family have been going to Affordable Automotive for truck and auto repair for about 6 years. As usual they are professional, on time (They stayed past closing to finish my truck front end work for a camping trip the next day) and always take care of small things they see while making repairs at no additional charge. They are just good people and I recommend them to anyone that needs auto work.

Battery light came on, lost ac, power steering, abs brakes and then radio. I drop my car off. I told them it is the alternator. Within an hour I got a call and was told it is the alternator belt, not the alternator. The honesty, I am amazed, they could have taken advantage of me but did not. These are honest and trust worthy mechanics. I love you guys.

I cannot recommend this place enough. I called in this morning to schedule an appt to get my ac compressor fixed, got an appointment for the same day. The quote I recieved was great and fair. They told me it would take about 3-4 hours to get done and sure enough it was accurate! No mark ups, no BS just quality customer service. Im beyond pleased with this place. Not to mention my AC is now blowing ice cold air in this AZ heat. I seriously started crying driving home because of how happy I am for this place. Definitely coming back for any future problems! These guys worked a miracle for us! We were traveling from out of town and our car broke down at 1am. A friend of our took most of the next day to figure out what the problem was. We called Affordable Automotive at 3:30 in the afternoon and they were able to get my car in and fixed by 5:15, so that we could get on the road the next day. Amazing! Tim was very pleasant and kept me company while they finished the work. Would highly recommend!

Been coming for few years and I hate to say with my lemon of a car they know who I am but thats the great thing bout this shop. They treat you not as a paycheck but a valued customer and will go out of their way to help you out to the best of their ability. Cheap but high grade oil changes and a friendly attitude.

Very upfront, very friendly, they tell you the truth and dont nickle and dime you on labor, example : when they change a radiator they dont charge you full labor for changing the hoses, they already have the hoses off ...... etc .They got the job done when they said they would and that was in a timely manner .I hope I dont have to go back to them but if I have car trouble I will in a heartbeat .

Love this place! Tim (Owner) and Ray (Manager) always take such good care of us. They take the time to explain the problem, show us parts and have our car done on time. Not only that, but Ray has often called a week or 2 later to check in and make sure we are still good to go!. Cant say enough good about this place. Its hard to find quality, honest, affordable auto care, but this place has it all!

Didnt actually go here. The guy who answered the phone when I called told me they dont install customer parts. I need a mechanic with a lift because I dont have it in me anymore to do big repairs without one. I already bought the part. This place in particular didnt seem keen on working with me. They might do good work but if they only work when they can make more money upselling parts, it kind of makes me not particularly care how good their work is. Only reason Im even saying so is because Google asked me to.

The best place to find good deals! I went to other places to fix my wheel bearings which would cost $700+, went to this place and they showed me whats wrong by bring me to the back, and told me only one needed fixing, which would cost me $270!! I was so relieved.they are so friendly and helpful. I left happy. they really care about you.I even heard that some lady towed the car there and they paid for it.hands down better than any other place around. worth the drive.

Its the only place I go to get my car worked on if I cant do it myself,the prices are pretty good, but the real reason I use them isnt the prices. The service they give is some of the best I can hope for in a mechanics shop. Honest and hardworking if they cant fix it they will suggest a person that they trust to do the work.

Wonderful experience from the start. I had my vehicle in for a standard oil change thinking I was going to be sold a lot of stuff I didnt need, but when the manager Ray explained everything to me to where I understood why certain repairs were needed, I felt comfortable paying for the néeded repairs and the cost was VERY reasonable.
