Drove by at 4:49 to dropped off a small load of metal to be recycled and their gate was closed. Dont know what their new hours are but definitely not open until 5

The fat guy at the desk was very rude and unhelpful. He even closed the shop down thirty minutes prior to the actual close time at five p.m.

This was my first visit to this location. Standard $3 entry fee is nor bad at all. For smartphones users it is great as you can shop listings on the website to find what row to find the vehicle youre looking for. I just hope I may be able to use what I found since they had closely related models but not exact. If asked if I would visit again, then yes I would.

My boyfriend and I walked an older lady, who couldnt be bothered to even greet us, just rudely said the yard had closed at 4:30 and turned her back. It was 4:25. No apology, no nothing. There is nothing stating the yard closed earlier than the rest of the store on google or the website. We drove here from Maricopa City. We had called ahead of time and again no one said anything about the yard closing early. I have never been so disgusted by staff behavior in my life. You need to fix your signs and your website so people dont waste their time and gas driving to your location just to be rudely thrown out by staff.

Everything online seems to be inventoried correctly, just vehicles not individual parts as that would take too much time. Yard is clean and prices are fair, you do get what you pay for though, but everyone was helpful and friendly!

Dont bother calling them, unless youre the type of person that enjoys people hanging up on you. I called them three times and I was hung up on all three times.

Some rude woman answers the phone. I don’t live in Mesa make it easy for me and you’ll get the business but not helping me out after asking if it’s the door I need and she says you’ll have to come and see. Well sure I’ll drive 2 hours go and search for the part. No consideration she’s not a people person keep her locked in a cage and maybe feed her some gizzards when she’s hungry. Unbelievable how you guys do business

So I drove all the way from Florence after calling to be sure they had a Pontiac G6 to buy the front seat out of... The big dude at the computer was absolutely no help, couldnt find the car period! I enlisted the help of a kind gentleman, no G6. I would never go there again, I warn anyone if you really need the part find it on ebay or Craigslist these guys are 1/2a**ed.

First off, I have to say, this is and still remains my go to place for most of the parts I have needed on various projects over the years. Just recently however, I had an experience that demands special attention. I had just bought another project, and of course, I needed a few things. So off to my go to place. I am out in our Lovely Arizona sun for 6 hours pulling misc trim I needed for my project and preping a motor/trans for pulling. All the staff were very helpful, but 2 individuals merit mentioning by name. Shelby and Christopher. They both were extremely helpful in getting me checked out and on my way after I spent all that time baking in the sun. And believe you me, if I were a turkey, you could easily say, Stick a fork in me, I am done! That was Sunday.I returned on Monday with my sunburn and heat exhaustion in full swing. I finished the little prep I had left to get the transmission I needed and grabbed a few other misc trim pieces I had forgot the previous day. Antonio was a Godsend with that forklift, let me tell ya. He popped that motor and trans out like nothing and got me on my way out of the yard extremely fast. Now with my tank on empty, I drug my old disabled butt to the check out line. And I was once again helped by Shelby to get out and on my way to much needed sunburn relief and a shower. She was exceptionally quick and helpful today just as the previous day. So, in short, I was out of there and driving like I stole it in no time flat.Keep up the great work lady and gentlemen. I am sure I will be seeing you all again soon enough!And just for the record, my vote is that Shelby, Christopher, and Antonio should all get a nice raise!!!

Called to see if they had a certain part. They told me they had multiple interchange vehicles. Great! I drove out of my way to find they put in the incorrect part details, they only had two vehicles. Went to the yard and found both of them were not there. Terrible Inventory organization.

Very fast and easy, thought I would spend all day finding a place to sell my clunker, and I was done in 2 hour tops using pick-a-part on Extension Rd, thank you to Shelbi and the staff there everything was easy! The price was fair as well that they paid me for my car. Recommend highly.

Went in yesterday around noon and was greeted by a very energetic, friendly, professional cashier named Shelby. Didnt wait long at all, she helped me find the cars I needed and off I went. Found exactly what I needed and was greeted by Shelby again. She took great care of me and I will be back!!! One of course great customer service by Shelby and two the parts I needed was there.

Horrible Customer service, got there 30 minutes before they close, they ignored my calls and wasted my time. My shop will not use them anymore.

Would not recommend, first I showed up at 4:20pm and the lady told me were closing in 5 minutes. I asked her dont you close at 5pm she said yea but we have to start getting people out of here. Then I asked her where is there an 09 honda accord? She said I dont know like somewhere in isle 30. Come to find out it wasnt there! Basically she was too lazy to look. Would not recommend this place.

Shelbi went above and beyond to help me with parts for my van. Wasnt in her job description, but, without her help, I would of been stuck. Ask for Shelbi! All other places said they couldnt help but that didnt stop her. Definitely recommend Shelbi at Mesa Pick a Part!

I feel bad giving this place one star I wish I could give it none. If they didnt charge for entry into the yard, this place would be out of business. Please dont waste your time as I did...

Its definitely a good junkyard to go to now. The employees are great. parts are great. I have had a few small issues but all in all its a really good junkyard to go to. The prices are better than most as well.

I got ripped off with my entry fee because we were kicked out of there by 4:30 and closing time is listed at 5:00 I will never go back again Im also warning others

Would be nice if they gave you a list of where the cars are that fits yours, spent a lot of time wandering around looking for my part and when I did find a car that fit mines it was locked up and there was no way to get in it without breaking glass, if they would just pop the trunks up and open the door and give you a list it would be great

Did you know they buy batteries? They do! I took some scrap metal and 12 batteries. I didnt get too much for the scrap but made off like a bandit with the batteries. They give $0.25 lb vs other places that give $10 a battery. If you have a good amount of batteries to turn in its worth going here. I got more by the pound than I would have gotten per each individual battery. The guys in the yard were friendly and helpful. The one helping us at the front desk to pay us out on the other hand wasnt as friendly but maybe he was having a rough day. It was on a Saturday and they were super busy. Thanks Pick A Part!

They close the gate at 4 one hour early

I was looking for a pickup spare tire hoist, found 3 vehicles that might have worked except they used the spare tires for a place to put a pier to hold the vehicle up. Couldnt get to them so $3.00 entrance fee wasted.

Call them and they say they close at 4 or 4:30, show up at 3:15 to dump a load for scrap and they come out to the yard while Im unloading and tell me to hurry because they close at 3:30! They said they just recently changed hours, I said we just called this morning!It was a Friday, guess they just wanted to go home early! Ill take my business elsewhere from now on!

Open every day, prices are great for used parts, lots of inventory I come here at least 3 or 4 times a week friendly employees at the counter, thank you Tony, Shelbi, you guys are great.

The prices they pay for scrap metal a bit better than average for non-ferrous metals like brass and copper.Processing service for both selling scrap metal and buying car parts are good.Car parts bought at this site are priced fairly and usually once a week they have half-price day for parts picked in their yard.Entrance fee is low,under $5.00.Bring your own tools.You can rent some tools thereto remove the parts you need for your caralthough a money down is required to loan out the tools,refundable when you are done and money returned at check out near exit.

Great place to get used parts for older model cars. Staff is friendly and helpful. Best to bring your own tools and plan on getting dirty as it is a working salvage yard. Their Web site is currently out of date, so ask at the office before you pay the entrance fee if they have the brand year and model of the car you need parts for in the yard as the entrance fee is non refundable and there is no guarantee that they will have what you are looking for at any given time. (Currently the entrance fee is only $3) Also it is advisable to see if you can find a You Tube or other video to make sure the repair you are attempting is within your own capability/mechanical skill level as you will be removing the parts you need from a wrecked car yourself. If you have the knowledge to fix your own car and want used parts this is a great place to go. Good selection of domestic and imports. Inventory of cars are updated monthly and can be checked online. Great deals when they have 50% off days.

The place is horrible. They have you wait some time to see if they have what you want, then you have to go get the part yourself. Next thing you know you come back paying extra for the price they told you. All they do is nothing but laugh at you. Last time I went they made fun of me for looking for wheels. These people really need to wake up and find something better to do. Not only this place needs zero stars, but also needs the place to be shut down

Very nice, helpful, and professional. They were willing to take parts other scrap yards would not. They also paid more than the place down the road for scrap steel.

The call was answered by a firm and informative woman. Showed up, greeted with courtesy. The woman gave me some good tips, told me right where the car was. The gentleman at checkout was more than reasonable with pricing. Thank you, guys!

Rates are low. Fat guy in the office moves like pond water and is as rude as they come. They made a clerical error on my address for the check they send in the mail for copper coils. I called him on it he said its gonna take 20 minutes to fix it. The mailman will figure it out. It doesnt take 20 minutes to edit 1 number. I bring in a fair amount. Never again. Negative 5 stars is my review. If you like being treated like an inconvenience rather than a provider, this is the place for you.

It was okay. The cars were organized mostly by make which was convenient. Customer service is hit or miss depending on who you talk to and what kind of mood they are in.So, good luck getting much information where to find vehicles to look through. I was just given a piece of paper that locations listed on it but the yard has no markers for locations .

Need a part for an old car was very expensive checked their web site that has a app to check inventory ( what cars they have) took my tools and got it saved $135.00 went very well . they all so have a recycle yard for the public.

This place was so amazing, not only were the prices totally reasonable but the young man that helped me was great he not only took out the part he also put the part in for me. No assistance.Its a desert, 105 outside. They wont tell you what rows the car are on, they want you to walk around in the heat looking for a car that might not even be there. And pull the part and pay them? All the while they are rude if you dont speak Spanish or are white.Terrible junk yard with no organization and bad employees

Went in to ask if they had parts for my truck, the person I spoke to seemed like he didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to help me. He said he had no parts for me and while I was walking out, we saw the exact parts I needed for my truck on the lot.

Really do it yourself as advertised. The purple who work there will verbally assist kind of. I mean tough to even get then to point you in the right direction. You pay 3 bucks to get I and there is no garauntee you will find anything. Great if your looking for late model stuff and you dont mind wandering around for hours searching for the parts.

Good parts place. If u ask for an interchangeable list for ur vehicle, they will print it out. Found my part with not much problem. Just had to hint for the one that had my part...

Ive been getting my parts here for a few years now,engines transmissions body parts interior parts ive never had any problems at this place antonio has allways been very helpful in pointing me in the direction to find the parts i look for,great staff here, ive only one wish, and that would be nice if they would put a wash sink outside in the yard so people could wash the grease off ourselves before we leave, ill be shopping here for years to come, thanks pickapart.

They are an alright business. Nothing to get excited about. You pay to get into the yard. You look for your part and take it to the office. If you dont find a part. No refund on the entering fee. The prices are somewhat high compared to the places in Phoenix. I had better experiences at the Phoenix used auto parts wrecking yards.

I went over to the pick a part in Mesa this weekend and was greeted by friendly staff who were, helpful and pleasant to work with. Naomi and Jason were a great help and made me feel very at ease. I will definitely be going back whenever I need more parts!

Great place. On the first trip I got the wrong part and it was 100% my fault. Came back the next day and they took very good care of me. Both workers were friendly and told me to bring back the old part for credit. Great place.

Meh. Was looking for some parts for my truck. Website said they had 2 of them on the lot. When I paid and got in they were both basically bare frame rails with cabs on them. No real parts.

Always find what I need after looking up the car in their inventory. Parts arent ridiculously expensive and their staff is very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone trying to fix their car inexpensively.

I recently went to Pick A Part to get an AC Compressor, they gave me a list of all the cars that were compatible with my 2005 Taurus which made it a lot easier to find one. When I went yo pay for it they informed that they were having a 50% off sale that day. I would recommend that everyone with a budget go to Pick A Part theyre very affordable.

Closed 45 mins early

Ive been charged to enter 20 minutes before close while they let other people just walk right in without paying. Ive also been told to pack up and leave when theres 20 minutes before closing, or been told i have 10 minutes at the office and then been told to leave 3 minutes later by someone else. The Phoenix location is much better on customer service

Prices are pretty good but arrogance from staff, never having inventory on their website and bag checks like customers are criminals are what ruined this place. Plus the price they tell you is only a portion of what it really is, expect extra fees including foreign cars to be way more expensive for parts.

If you call to see if they have a vehicle, make sure you call twice. You will get a different answer each time.I went in on a friday and they had 2 vehicles i could get parts off. i went about 2 hours before they closed. The next morning when they opened, i called tabout another part from the SAME vehicles i had just gotten parts from and i was told they didnt have the vehicles, they never did, and i had no idea what i was talking about. I called about 1 hour later and was told the vehicles were still there. Just t of curiosity, i called monday morning agian and was told that they didnt have the vehicle, and they all go to the phx location. 2 hours later i called again and was told that the vehicles were in fact there. When i asked about why i got so many different answers to the same question I was laughed at and hung up on.In the office, most of the employees are rude, there is no orginization and god help you if there is more than just 1 person in line. They will help people in whatever order they choose. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This place has really good customer service you could find all the parts for the car all that you need and their open 7days a week.

Did not like the counter arrogance that your staff has. They were there it seems to collect a pay check. As far as helping sell and promote the business, there was zero in this direction.

I love this place! You pull your own part and its so much cheaper than buying a brand new part when there are plenty just going to waste. Get those hands dirty! Lol
