Went here to get a new car battery and they let me know that my old one was still under warranty and that theyd replace it for free. I was surprised, you usually have to fight to get warranty work done.
I get great service everytime I go. My tires have a warranty here and in Arizona thats a must. Lowest tire prices I e found in AZ. Wait times are high but its because their prices are great. Make a reservation or get in early.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The work was fast. Just avoid the times that they are busy .
Took over 2.5 hours to replace 2 tires and then when I finally got my car back they replaced the wrong freaking tires. After 3 hours of being there I got on the highway and all the tires were out of balance I took it to another Walmart to get it fixed and they had me in and out in less than 40 minutes I would recommend going elsewhere.
I bought a new battery yesterday and it said free installation, after waiting an hour no one even started the installation which takes all of 5 mins. I left and put the battery on my self when I realized how they were just sitting around not doing anything. There were no other vehicles being serviced at the time. What Im most upset about is I got a notification saying they completed service. They are liars and I reported my experience to corporate.
Put 4 new tires on an been having trouble with my tire pressure sensor since... took it back next morning an they said they couldnt figure it out... still having issues with it going on an off...
Early bird catches the worm oil change in at 7am was done at 7:30. Great service affordable prices.
Common courtesy means you call the customer and communicate that they need a new tire. I read a lot of the previous reviews. Things havent changed. Heres hoping they take their work seriously and do a better job of customer service. And if a customer calls with a complaint, dont get an attitude. Their call is to help YOU.
DONT RISK IT AT ALL TRY SOMEWHERE ELS!!!!! THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DO BASIC OIL CHANGES COST ME $400 IN REPAIRS THAT THEY CAUSED The most horrible place to take your car took my camero in for a OIL CHANGE when they were finished my ac dint work because they tucked the wires behind the oil filter and caused a short a bunch of kids with out experience working there trust me
Bought tires for my pickup here. Inexpensive tires were installed and seem to perform better than expected. Fast courteous service was received. Very pleasant experience.
Came in for Oil Change at 8am and only 1 car in line. Got checked in pretty quick. Had a breakfast stop at the Waffle House (yummy). Finished eating and car was ready. Great morning!
It took over 3 hours for to get a new tire. One that they weren’t even changing, I might add. There were clearly trainees doing all the tire fixes. Which is fine, but when you have no one managing them it becomes a problem. We watched them jack up a car, THEN try to loosen the bolts 🤦♀️. That’s just one of the idiotic actions we witnessed. No one told us what to do or how long we were going to wait. The price of the tire started at $79, jumped to $92, then to $105 because they added the road hazard program which we clearly stated we did not want. The final price was $100.18. Certainly not the cheapest place, nor the quickest.
I had an appointment and it took almost 2 hours to get me in to do my tire.
Really fast service!! Very friendly and great product for the price!!! Very happy
Stay away from this place not once but twice we took our vehicles my car and my husbands truck for oil changes both times we had to take our vehicles back to be serviced at a different auto shop because the oil change was not performed! This is crazy. My husband thought the first time was a fluke so he took his truck in for service 3 weeks ago today he is at another shop and the technician said there is not one drop of oil in the truck. This leads me to believe that they are either not doing the service or not doing it correctly!!! When they changed the oil on my car the oil change light came on 2 days later and I had to take the car into the dealership where I bought it and the technician said the oil change was clearly not done at all.
Dudes are wack, bought some 22-in tires offline scheduled to have them installed and they couldnt install them because their equipment wasnt big enough, okay thats understandable but they also wouldnt give me the road hazard on them because they couldnt install them. Shame on you Walmart
Will is the Ace and everyone else was on point! I caused time delay and all were understanding. Thanks Walmart. . ... On with the day!
Pre-FAKEOUT-covid I purchased a set of tyres. all the warranties with it. ? Nope! as covid was unleashed upon us Wal-Mart severed all ties. no warranty! no tire check. no nothing. didnt bother to ask. did not want another letdown this soon. its still the same store otherwise. or whatever that means.
My tire appointment has been rescheduled 4 times and I still have not received my tires I ordered over a week ago.
In and out with new tires. Good job. Had appointment though 😃
I will not be back, left waiting over an hour to tell me they couldnt work on my vehicle
Was excellent good placeI love Walmart auto center!
Work was done in a timely manner
Packed and still took me in, nice right, well after getting a chance to watch this guy myself, it took him 50 min just to do two tires. Then it took him another 15 min to recheck air pressure, and back the car out of the bay. Now I know why they were packed. Drop the car off at 4 picked it up at 9. If I was not it a desperate moment no way would I have put up with this, and believe you me when I get back in this position I know where not to come... oh one more thing I only needed ONE tire to be replaced.
They nice guys changed my oil and top all the fluids.
Ive been 5 seperate times to try and get tires, everytime they have an excuse of why they cant put tires on. They only do oil changes
Called 3 times each time was put on hold for over 5 minutes. No excuse how long does it take to answer one simple question they shoould be ashamed of themselves.
In and out for a all four tire balence
Very nice customer service, the manager lady help me buy and install a battery even though it wasnt time to open.
I needed 4 new tires, I was told 1.5 - 2 hrs to complete so I waited in the store. 1 hour in, my vehicle was brought into the bay but 2 hours in, the vehicle hadnt been touched. Meanwhile 4 cars were services who arrived long after my vehicle was checked in.(1 replacement tire, 1 new rim, and 2 oil changes) After the 2 hour mark, I asked an associate the ETA on my vehicle. He replied that there was only 1 technician all day and he doesnt return from lunch for another 30 min. ETA given by Walmart employee was 1.5 - 2 hours. I mentioned that my wait time had just doubled and wouldve appreciated an honest ETA in the beginning so I couldve arranged transportation through a friend. The Auto center would just grind out the small and easy projects and ignoring my vehicle. I ended up taking a Lyft home. I tried calling them to follow up on the status but it just kept ringing for over 10 minutes. It would eventually transfer to another department then they would put me right back on hold so I had to wait for them to call. 7 hours from checking in the vehicle (30 min before they close) Walmart called and said my vehicle was ready.Im writing this so hopefully this Walmart will address the problem and improve their services. Prices are great but the Auto Care Center needs more employees and training.
The automotive technician there needed more training. We got to new tires and they didnt balance them. When we brought it back they stated I had lost a piece to the rim. Im not a automotive technician but I could see there were no weight to balance the tires. After the second visit and no solution we went to discount. The first thing they said its why are there no weights on the rim? Then the guy that balanced the tires for free said there are no weights. Needless to say we bought our other two tires from discount tires.
I had to give them 1 star to write a review. This is the worst experience that Ive had with a Walmart Auto Center. I will definently not come back. Very unprofessional and no communication at all whatsoever.
Why have phones in your store if your not going to answer them. Thats ignorance i tried every department and it was just endless ringing.
My battery died and I got it jumped too make it over too get a New one thanks walmart auto you saved the day
If you feel like waiting around for 30 minutes for someone to even talk to you, then waiting twice as long as they say for the service to be completed then Walmart Tire and Lube Express is for you. This was for a simple patch from a nail. When they installed the tires 2 mo ths ago it took 4 hours. This was with an appointment. Never again.
I was told by the manager Amber to come back at 7 in the morning to get my tires done I get here at 6:50 the place is open but they do not come out until 7:10 and in which case I was here first and they superseded me and proceeded to service other people. Thomas skipped me and helped someone who just rolled up. My tires are separating from the tread and Im told to come back tomorrow while Im driving with children. I expressed my concern about my time and Thomas blew me off with a hand wave gesture like my time is not valued and that is definitely not how any customer should ever feel.
I went to get 2 tires done, they said maybe 2 hours.. after giving them and extra hour and going back they said my car hadn’t even been pulled in yet that it would be another two. I had to leave, I decided to give them another chance and went back a different day when I got there at 5 pm they told me they couldn’t do it because the guy doing tires wanted to leave.. I asked why if it closed at 7 and she shrugged and told me to try a different day. I’m done with this place.
Every since that I bought my tires from Walmart. I had nothing but problems first it took them about 6 hours to put my tires on. I arrived there about 1 p.m. did not leave out of there until there were closing. I needed a tire repaired I had to make an appointment. Today I called three Walmart and they cannot fix my tire I will never buy my tires from Walmart again a very on satisfied customer
Horrible experience overall, we had an appointment for tires but it took over 2 hours, a simple oil change would have taken 2-3 hours more so we cancelled that part. At pickup the rims with the new tires were covered with oily dirt, the previously present valve caps were missing, no responsible person around to speak to. First and last time Ive been to WM Auto Center.
Everyone wearing a mask. Fast service
Slow slow slow . Understaff. They stop selling certain types of ammo which makes no sense whatsoever. Wait about 20 minutes that even get anybody to help you in the sporting goods section. Toobad I used to love going to Walmart But now days I tried to avoid it. Its really sad.
The automatic doors are to be unlocked during business hours. You dont let people in but not let them out. And only 1 person working in the tire shop. They need to have more than just 1 maybe 2 people working at the most. They need a full staff at all times regardless if workers are out sick or on vacation. This is one of the reasons why I dont like shopping at Walmart plus health standards really do suck.
I was going to get a flat repair done. Just a patch. They said that it would take an hour and a half to two hours. I decided to not get a repair done there for that long of a wait. Almost 4 hours later they call me and say that my car is done. I didnt leave my car nor my tire there. These people dont know what they are doing. Go across the street to discount.
Ordered new tires and asked if they had time to install them. They said yes so I brought the car over. Said it would he about an hour. An hour later they hadnt started working in it so I asked how long and they said it would be 2 more hours. Do t tell me you can do it if you arent ready or available! Such a waste of my time. Im taking my tires elsewhere to be mounted.
Its a great place. I got my pricing done. I know Ill be going to this location for my oil change.
These guys are so useless and un educated. They asked for our receipt for the battery to scan something then lost it, had to wait for the longest for them to figure out how to print another. Also bought windshield wipers and they told us they could install them for us and when we went around for them to do that the big guy with the hoop earrings was EXTREMELY rude and said we charge, we said thats not what they just told us, his response was they dont know what they are talking about and was just so rude I couldnt even believe it . The rest of this store is good but these people, oh man! Dont waste your time
It took over 3 hours for a simple oil change
Come here if you want:1) low price2) to wait literally a full day for oil change3) To experience a severely understaffed department4) seriously questionable competency and on top of that the insecurity of wondering if these guys although trying their best, are so overworked and rushed that they mess something up- very high likelihood on that one.5) horrific customer service, to offer some credit these poor guys are so beaten down by their work flow literally every time I go here that they have nothing left to give customers and very obviously don’t like what they do (who would when your employer won’t staff properly)phone call won’t be answered and they sometimes don’t have the time to call you to even tell you your vehicle is ready. Walmart should be staffing 2-3 extra people over here but they are the low price leader so they gotta keep the the low price by understaffing I guess?. You’ll pay for that price many other ways BEWARE!
The guy at the at the register was awesome he fix my tire with a patch and I did not have to buy a new tire he was awesome 👍
Great service and a great price. Amber was a huge help. She is so amazing. Thank you Walmart! I will be back.
Fantastic service. 9th in line but got oil changed and new battery in less than an hour.
Had a blow out on the freeway, came in to get a new tire told them I need it done asap because my truck was on the side on the freeway. Abel told me that it was going to take 15 min. 15 min later I asked about it and will said it was going to be hard to do. I said I worked at big o tires for years and it shouldnt be too hard then will said in that case it will take another half hour. Completely unprofessional! Will never come back to this place and will is a service manager. What a joke! Thanks for nothing will!
Excellent got me in and out quickly good service very polite
They told me my oil change + air filter would take 40 mins and they would call. We checked on it after an hour because they hadnt called. They told us it would be about 30 more minutes. Im sitting here watching cars coming and going at 2 hours. My car is sitting in the bay, no staff working on it. Other cars are being checked in and out with no problem. This is horrible service... from beginning to end and I was the first car here right at 7am. When they opened. Which I still had to wait 30 minutes after to get checked in... after cars arriving after me. I wish I could rate negative stars. This is absurd... never coming here again.
I am out in an area that I am unfamiliar with. Husband in hospital. Battery died. Found this Walmart on Google. The staff in the repair area was super. I explained my situation and the young man jumped right on taking care of me . He even told me hope things go well with my husbands surgery. That employee deserves a 🌟! Thank you for taking care of me!
We had a horrible experience. My tire blew on the freeway and my uncle came to bring me to get a tire. We brought the tire and rim in to get a new one put on. Rose was working the front counter (I could only see the last 3 letters of her name so Im assuming Rose) we read off the type of tire and she says they have none. We ask if theres something similar and she basically laughed at us for asking for something similar. A helpful gentleman goes and finds one that was on clearance. She says theres no way to ring it up. So a different helpful lady finds a way to ring it up. Then they make us go outside in 110 degree heat to have a trainee get our information. We go back inside to cool off and they tell us to go outside to finish filling out information (as if we couldnt do it inside) we go back outside to answer one more question. He tells us to go inside and pay for the mounting and balancing. So we do, and they tell us to wait and pay after service is complete. Ok, makes sense, but its like theyre making us go back and forth for no reason. Then as we are sitting waiting for them to put the tire on our rim, we see about 14 tires that are the exact same as what we originally asked for. But I thought Rose said they had none? They were the most rude, unhelpful people I have come across. You would think that we were inconveniencing these people by trying to get a tire while my car is sitting on the side of the road.
The service manager that helped me was a cool guy dont remember his name but he was an automotive manager hes awesome! Big help
Came in for a simple battery and tire change. Took them 3 hours to do the tire, then they had lost my paperwork for the battery so I had to wait another hour for that. Now I just found out they did not put my tire lugnut key back on and theyve lost it! These people are a bunch of idiots, youre better off taking your car to a real shop.
Very professional techs. Highly recommend..
Horrible experience!!! Went in for tires and I was told up to 3 hours maximum. There were only three techs working and I cant say I was impressed with any of them. At the 4 hour mark I called and they told me another hour. Seriously - 5 hours for tires! The process could be improved greatly. How about taking general information such as name, address, etc. when you get the quote inside. That would save the techs from having to do it on a little hand held device. Definitely wont be back for anything auto related.
Update your Google listing for autocare being closed. I drove from Central Phoenix cause it said it was open. Oh and its ridiculous that its closed. Disinfect the cars. Jeez.
The service was horrible!! I had to get out of my car to ask for service. This was not the first time this has happened. I was told by an employee he was about to take a lunch so he didnt know who was going to service my vehicle. I had asked for a manager just to seek help! I was on my lunch and asked how long was the wait. He said 20 minutes, which took over 45 minutes to do an oil change. Furthermore, they didnt turn off my oil change notification... SMH!!!
There mechanics could not switch out a light bulb on my 2004 Jeep because they said it was to hard and yet people take there vehicles here for services I have no sempathy for people that trust these idiots with there cars Im going to Jeffy lube for better customer service and mechanics that know what there doing took them two mins to help me
They did a great job taking care of a minor issue. They were robbed out the automotive doors while I was there and I snapped a pic of the plates for them.I came back for an oil change and the service writer was the most unhelpful person with a customer relations job. Said they could not use the weight of oil i selected because the car has something else on the filler cap . B S this is Arizona the oil on the cap is what is used for the federal mileage test not what is best for my engine . Its 90° in the morning and 5 weight oil should be used in Alaska not Az . Anyway the shop down the road (Walmart ) just noted the oil requested by customer on the ticket .
Large shop, seemed to be quick and friendly service.
They replaced my battery after hours about 2 years ago..they were so helpful!
Got tires on my car, good price but I never got called to tell me my car was ready.
Manager was awesome she was able to help me with my wiper blades and even installed it for me.
Well the auto is probably the best customer service there is always someone there to help you, unlike the other departments
Is always not a great experience to do or go to this place . People are rude they close at 6 there is no sign saying when they take the last vehicle and so you wont get any service after 4 if there is too many cars... I guess you get for what you pay for
Inexpensive and fast
These Walmart tire center is the most confusing and not so costumer driven Walmart center that I been in and they dont deserve any freaking star
Show service need more experience help.
Did a fine job. Was in and out quick.
Very bad behavior of tire shop staff. They did my work very good. But they really dont want to work.
Ed is awesome, and the tall girl is cute af. Lol
They swapped out my battery with the warranty quick and easy!!
It was a RIP off I wanted to get my oil changed I wanted Mobil 1 annual protection they were going to charge me for the money il 1 about 35 dollars and 44 dollars to change it
Had to literally flag somebody down for service. Waited 2.5 hours for an oil change. Customer service was non existent. Very disorganized. Will not be back. Just go to the one on stapely. Have had better service there.
Super slow service... We wait for 5 hours just to change 2 front tyre....so be early if you want to get any car service
No issues, great service. Took great care
Waited over 2 hours walked around the store went vack to the auti center and my car still was not serviced
Very slow gathering at auto part and talking together it took me 2 fix one fat tire
Always here Sam would be happy.thank u
Needed new tires. They had them at low price. Bought 2 and had them mounted.
Schanel is the best! She fixed my issue that a manager could not fix!
Long wait (almost 3 hours), and the manager didnt want to put synthetic blend in my car so I have to get another oil change sooner than I want to.They dont carry my oil filter so I have to provide my own which is not worth it. They only give a $2 discount on an $8 oil filter. I dont think Id go back again.
The Baseline and Country Club location is run surprisingly efficiently
Bought a new set of tires. The service dept is great.
Slow, but thats just they way they are. Just add 30 minutes onto whatever wait time they tell you.
I have to agree with other negative reviews on their quality of service. I went there 8/13 to find the tire shop closed early! The Asst. Mgr said they had to because they were short-staffed and do that if they dont have at least 3 people on staff due to their lube service. I told him there mgmt issue is impacting customers and he said they are working on it. I returned earlier next day on 8/14. The service writer was helpful but service mgr on duty was not. She took one look at the thread wear on my rear tire and said she couldnt touch it. I still had enough thread and under warranty and concerned about the thumping on the tires and wheel vibration and couldnt drive that way back to CA. All they did was deflate some air on the tires and sent me on my way! I went to my local Walmart tire in CA on 8/15 and the service mgrs there said I needed wheel balancing and took care of that. My tires werent ready for replacement yet but recommended I get my car checked for wheel suspension/alignment. I did and my car rides much better. Bottomline is avoid the Walmart Tire shop at Baseline/Country Club and go elsewhere!
Got great service with my oil change.
Never ever gonna let a Walmart nitwit touch my carv
My windshield wiper blade flew off and I needed a replacement ASAP. Thomas the shop manager did the job himself. Thank you because I needed to drive in the rain 60 miles to get home.
It took four people and 45 minutes to do a battery exchange.
First I went a 12:00 and they told me they were closing until 1:30. I went back at 12:45, waited for 30 minutes for someone to come and help me. Then they told me they couldnt help me, they were closing early and only one person came to work and there were too many people ahead of me.
2 hours for an oil change with one car in front of me.
I like to do oil change here. I know, take more than one hour sometimes but is not so much.
Fast service. Friendly employees.
