Steven went above and beyond in his service at the merritt island location. He greeted me instantly when I stepped on the lot. I told him what i was looking at and the recent expierences i was having at other dealerships that werent very good and he was extremely understanding and showed paticents. He shared his personal expierences with being a new car buyer himself and it made me feel extremely comfortable with making purchase with him. He helped me find a car I was going to enjoy in my price range and he was extremely knowledgable. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone and if you do go ask for Steven. Overall, a very positive experience. We were extremely happy with our choice which met or exceeded expectations. We did not finance.The good -Nice selection of vehicles in terrific condition and fairly priced. That they are in business 45 years and family owned says a lot about any business. Free oil changes and tire rotations are a very nice touch. We made an appointment beforehand and the vehicle, which was reasonably clean and well presented, was waiting for us when we arrived. The sales manager (Steve) went the extra mile and offered to let us take the vehicle home to ensure that we were comfortable with it after my wife (the car was for her) had some reservations about the fit. This is terrific customer service and highly commendable. We declined, but did take our time on 2 test drives - perhaps 45 minutes in all.Our sales rep (Julian) was accommodating, knowledgeable and polite. We left the lot to discuss the vehicle and ultimately decided on purchasing it. We felt totally at ease and there was no pressure. We asked about a second FOB/key and it was driven down from the main lot about 10 miles away - very nice.Some observations-Even though we paid in full, the paperwork was formidable and some of it unrelated to our (cash/check) situation. We dont transact business electronically if it can be avoided, and declined to consent to electronic signature or video recording. For this we insisted that all documents be paper. Also, hard experience has taught us to read the fine print before signing any documents (and there were a lot for a cash/check transaction). We take our time when doing all business transactions (especially those involving large sums of money) no matter what the circumstances. This obviously lengthens the process apparently seemed to throw a curve-ball to Julian and the finance manager who, we sensed, would have preferred us to just sign away. Saw Julian checking his watch a few times. Sorry bout that.The finance rep was courteous, accommodating, polite and professional enough but he seemed bored and/or inconvenienced - his slouched posture and almost indifferent demeanor was a little to casual for a business setting. It did not make a great impression.Finally,I recommend this dealership as a good source for anyone looking for a quality used vehicle at a fair price. I suggest avoiding getting caught up in the moment and to take the time to read all documents. Yes its (very) wearisome for all parties, but you will be shocked at whats in the fine print.In fairness to dealerships, they have a vested interest in protecting themselves against dubious customers and go to great lengths via paperwork to do this. Customers should practice the same safeguards for their privacy and not feel pressured. Dealers may sell hundreds of vehicles a year and to them the process is commonplace. Purchasers buy a vehicle once every few years, and its anything but.Having said all this, I would most certainly shop here first for another vehicle and highly recommend it.

My growing family and I drove away with our used Buick enclave last night around 8pm. I could not be more happy with Julian. We had no intention of buying as we were unsure what we wanted to buy still. He was perfectly fine with that and was no pushy at all. Julian was very patient with us in our decision making. He helped play around with numbers until we were happy enough to make our decision. He answered every question honestly, made great conversation, and most of all was NOT a shark. GREAT dealership. I traveled to several different dealerships before this and they were all mediocre and treated us like sales points rather than actual human beings. However whenever I travelled to Bob Steele they treated me with great hospitality right off the bat, especially Wazim, but the entire Bob Steele family was exceptionally fantastic. I have been simmering on this issue for months now. I need to warn people out there about the UNETHICAL practices of this liquidation center and of the REFUSAL of Bob Steele to stand behind their used cars!I bought a very expensive, slightly used but still under watrsnty 2016 Cadillac CTS from this Fleet Liquidation center. I live in Ohio so, I had to purchase the vehicle without test driving it first. Had it shipped to Ohio only to start to notice an unacceptably “rough” ride. At first, I chalked it up to the notoriously rough “run flat” tires that come standard on the 2016 CTS. However, after taking the car into my local Cadillac dealer, I was informed that I had TWO BENT RIMS!I immediately went back to my contact at the Liquidation center who quickly said that it must’ve been the shipping company’s fault...but, yet he wasn’t even present when the car was loaded and left his lot! Plus, there is no way the car’s two right side rims (inside surfaces) were damaged the way it was loaded. The Liquidation center refused to work with me at all on what is about a THOUSAND DOLLAR replacement of two wheels!I then went directly up the ladder at Bob Steele itself. Guess what, they came back and said the wheels were fine from the pictures that were sent me from the Liquidation center prior to my purchase. But, what they conveniently IGNORED is that the rims were bent on the INSIDE surfaces!! They either didn’t put the car up on a lift to look at it / inspect it or, knew about this damage and did not divulge it to me...either wayit is unfair to me, the PAYING customer!This issue really bothers me every time I drive my CTS...and I needed to vent and to WARN people about this type of unethical treatment of customers by Bob Steele Liquidation Center...BEWARE if you buy from them...assume nothing. They may or MAY NOT help you after you drive it off the lot.I should’ve returned the car to them...my fault there. I just figured they’d stand behind the sale and make it right for me...big mistake!
When sales person asks me if i need help, i say no. They ask what im lookong for, i say, nothing, just browsing. They ask if they can have my name and number so they can call me if they find a good deal for me. I ask, how is he going to find me a deal if i didnt tell him im looking for so please just let me look and he acts like a dick and just turns around storms off so i left
